3301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estonia on a road to possibly revoke most crypto licenses issued in the country on: October 17, 2021, 12:31:33 AM
Hopefully though, it doesn't mean the total shutdown of exchanges and financial services in the country, otherwise if could be a big blow to crypto market in general.
It will, soon as their SEC like agency do monitor and pass regulation requirements for those companies then we will see like a south korea way, where quality over quantity which lots of exchanges and didn't/can't comply the requirements that leads to shutting them down I suppose.

Most likely there are crypto based exchange in Estonia that adheres to their local laws, hence they are able to go with their normal business as usual.

But I think the target by the government or their financial regulatory bodies is those fly by night exchanges as they take advantage of Estonia being 'crypto friendly'. But I believed the cleansing will not effect the market and it might do good in the long term.
3302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next stop $85K for Bitcoin on: October 16, 2021, 06:18:30 AM
We could very well be ending the month at $85K the way things are going. Once a new high breaks we’ll be seeing Bitcoin all over the news and the fomo will be officially started. The coming volatility will both ruin lives and make dreams come true. Stay nimble, pay attention, and don’t let life changing returns pass you buy without realizing them.

Hopefully though, but I wouldn't be surprised if we stay just above $60k. It will be fine and then wait for November to hit that $85k, and then December at $100k++.

I'm more leaning towards realizing our dreams though, just like when we hit $64k right in April, we have plans already. But this time it will be different it we hit over and a new all time high. There is still December, a holiday that everyone should be enjoying including us bitcoin holders. So enjoy the ride and the fun has just started and not be carried away.
3303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 16, 2021, 05:30:09 AM
I´m a little more daring, I think that Canelo will knock out in the first 2 rounds, I think he will not reach the 3rd, the reason is the same why you think, that his lack of manners makes Canelo angry, and there is something that you cannot mix when you have a skill such as boxing, anger, if you fight with anger many times you do not measure the consequence of the damage that the blows will do, it is for that reason that many times some boxers die inside the ring due to a blow or contusion to the head.

Under two rounds is just too much, I think under 9.5 is a good bet if you think this fight will end in a knockout. The first few rounds will be some sort of sizing their opponents and adjusting to the range and the real fighting would be on the 2nd quarter of the fight.

I haven't seen Canelo knock out his opponents in under 2 rounds. And it's not good for the fans who paid hundred if not thousands of dollars to see him fight live, not worth the money. He used at least make it a good fight for us.

Canelo has been through this many times already, his opponents usually trash-talk him hoping to provoke him, and lost his focus come fight time but definitely that is not going to happen as Canelo is a disciplined fighter and he sticks to the fight plan as always.

Sure, he might have been offended by Caleb's trash talking. But he is a champion and only one thing in his mind come fight night, to beat Caleb and take his belt and be the best super middleweight.
3304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: October 16, 2021, 05:09:48 AM
It's only me or not the odds looks not fair for Lopez? Both of boxer are had good record and undefeated, I would expect the odds was -500 for Lopez and +250 for kambosos. I was one of Lopez fans, but looking for the odds it seems I don't see any reason to not bet Kambosos in this fight. He's good boxer and people were underestimating him, there's a good chance will be upset IMO.

And as the fight goes closer, I'm leaning more of a Kambosos upset here. Me too, I'm a Lopez fan, but maybe he is on a slippage as he might underestimate this Australian. On the other hand, Kambosos might be planning a good strategy with this team including his manager on how to beat Lopez. Teofimo didn't really put a beating on Loma, it's that Loma is injured, but Loma won rounds in the middle round up to the 12 rounds and maybe he could put up a good plan to outsmart Lopez here.
3305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 16, 2021, 01:56:10 AM
Both Tsitsipas and Zverev lost in the quarter finals.

So I guess it's Norrie who will be the top seed amongst the four at #21 LOL. He will be up against Dimitrov #23. Tough call for this match but I have Norrie here.

And then on the other side, Basilashvilli vs Fritz. I'm going with Fritz in this match.

So for me it will be Norrie vs Fritz in the finals.
3306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ***BREAKING *** Bitcoin ETF is approved on: October 16, 2021, 01:07:24 AM
It will officially start next week, so expect that this bull run will continue up to $63k or even a new all time high.

Yes, I know that this is long overdue and people might say that we don't need this. But at least with this stamp of approval coming from SEC, I'm sure BTC will gain more traction to more whales and institutions. So I would say that this is very welcoming news to the crypto market in general. A good sign indeed, and very positive in the long term.
3307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a right time to buy some ethereum?. on: October 15, 2021, 05:09:13 AM
Ethereum looks very Bullish now and likely to hit 4K in few days if Bitcoin remains Bullish. Once Ethereum's major upgrade occurs sometime in late 2021 or early 2022, one simulation estimates that the circulating supply of Ethereum could shrink by around 1.4% each year at current rates of fee burning. Is this the right time to collect eth and wait till upgrade happen?.

Not sure if it is a good or bad idea to buy Ethereum as the level right now.

Technically, the best price to enter is when it went below $100, but that was 3 years ago and for sure maybe some of us here become a bagholder and bought tons of Ethereum that time.

But if you really think long term then why not go for it? maybe you can still make a lot of money in the next 3 years?
3308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla make 1 billion profits from it Bitcoin holding on: October 15, 2021, 03:44:33 AM
If Elon decides to drop his bags today, the market will suffer a massive tragedy, perhaps even greater than the last Covid 19 dump.
The future of bitcoin is something to keep an eye on, especially now that Elon Musk leads the pack of billionaire wolves.

Elon said that the remaining bitcoin purchases of Tesla was for long-term holding. And, let's not forget that Elon already sold in the past, so if they were to sell again, I'd guess that the market effect wouldn't be too drastic as you're describing.

And as far as I can remember, they've sold before to "test the market liquidity", so I guess they've got the results they wanted already and most likely it passed on their side.

So yeah, they are here for the long term, and it has proven a good move on Tesla and all other companies that decided to hedge there assets on bitcoin and put in on their balance sheet.
3309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 15, 2021, 02:35:45 AM
@bisdak40 - thanks for the update, yeah, it seems that Casimero has bolted out of MP. Not really sure what Manny Pacquiao still trust Sean Gibbons, as I have said before, this has the making of a "Michael Koncz" again.

In any case it was good that both Nonito and John Riel are in good terms and the Donaire's are helping John Riel jump to the back yard of Richard and his team on Probellum.

Who knows, maybe we can see Donaire and Casimero on the same card, that will be huge for Filipino boxing fans around the world.

I believe the drama between Donaire and Casimero is already water under the bridge now. Because I have seen in one of the YT videos, Donaire's father had even good times with Casimero before Casimero left the US after his fight with Rigo. So the past issue may just be misunderstanding. It is boxing, so being professional here will be a good factor if they want to grow their respective careers.

It seems that the drama is over as Rachel Donaire was very instrumental of helping Casimero to get to Probellum. I guess, we Filipinos have a soft heart for fellow pinoys.

And with how quick things turns out, I think Casimero doesn't have a 'real written contract' with MP. Because he just suddenly move to Probellum without any problems. Unless MP will file some lawsuit of breach of contract or something. But so far we haven't heard from Sean Gibbons himself.
3310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: October 15, 2021, 01:33:19 AM
^^ And with that said, hmm, I'm started to lean on Kambosos to make an upset here, LOL.

The odds are very attractive and who knows, George has so much time in this side to study Lopez  that him and his team has somewhat devise a strategy on how to beat Lopez here.

So the match is still intriguing that I'm tempted to put a small bet on Kambosos now.
3311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 15, 2021, 12:49:31 AM
Stefanos Tsitsipas was almost upset as well. He will be facing Basilashvili next, this is the QF already so I'm going on the over here. My multi-bets have been rekt with this seeded players being upset, but what can we do? So staying with just singles for now.

Yeah, however, he made it and the score is over so I will take that win today.

I also did try one multibet early, just lucky, but the second time, and with so many upsets, I got rekt early so I just decided to bet on match that I can predict.

I could have made money on the Norrie vs Schwartzman, however, due to time zone difference, wasn't able to bet on it.
3312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price last until the end of the year? on: October 14, 2021, 05:08:51 AM
The cryptocurrency market has been on the rise again since a few days ago, the bitcoin price has gone up from $45k to $56k currently. Bitcoin has shown significant gains, in fact, the good news is that some experts predict the current rise will continue until the end of this year. Therefore I think the bitcoin price will probably reach over $70k by the end of this year.

Nah, I know I'm bullish but I don't hope anymore that Bitcoin to pass and exceed the ATH within this year. I'm sure the price will play around at $54k to $60k with the remaining months before next year. But of course, if my prediction is wrong then $70k is just next on the line and probably will come in no time.

Why are you too pessimistic bro? we just touch $58k already, just $6k of the last previous highs.

And since October 1, we have like having a bull run already so it's possible that this month alone, we can see that we can achieved a new all time high.

What I am worried about is if December would be the same just like in the previous bull run then the market would suddenly dump because of the FUD all over the place. Then it's most likely we're getting near to the bearish season.

In the last 2 years though, the December timeline is very bullish, even the bearish trend in 2018, the price keeps going up on December.
3313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia took third place in the world in bitcoin mining on: October 14, 2021, 03:42:34 AM
I've heard from several TV channels that Russia is also planning to create its own digital currency, the digital ruble, which they will soon launch at the end of this year. The Russian Association of Crypto Economy, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain said that almost 1,100 megawatts of new power plants have been run for Bitcoin mining during 2021.

Weird, I thought that the Digital rubble has been launched already.

In any case I'm not surprised that bitcoin mining has now shift to Russia, it's a huge nation with lots of are that can be used and electricity that is cheap, plus the environment as well is really fitting to home hundreds if not thousands of asics and even used the heat to their advantage. So it's a win-win situation for small an huge bitcoin miners in Russia.
3314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: October 14, 2021, 02:07:39 AM
It's not that AJ is slower than Usyk, it's just he cannot fight a southpaw boxer the same way as he fights an orthodox boxer. The tempo, the feel, the angle, everything is so messed up. He cannot get used to fighting a southpaw boxer in just a few months, so better gamble would be going for in-fight against Usyk.
Maybe not slower, but definitely less agile. I think that's the biggest issue here, and the fact that Joshua seems a little more gun shy since the Andy Ruiz fight. Until Joshua can either counter those problems, or make improvements on those fronts then I can't see him winning the rematch, and it's looking increasingly likely that it'll be a Fury vs Usyk unification fight, which to be honest I think is a good match up. Although, I'd like to see Fury win that, and then move onto Joshua just to prove he's the best of the current heavyweight fighters.

He wasn't gun shy on the Pulev fight and he won via KO if I'm not mistaken.

But in the Usyk fight, it seems that we witnessed a different version of Joshua here, maybe it was the style match-up, maybe he has ring rust, overtrain or underestimate Usyk etc, etc.. He usually dominated small fighters except in the Ruiz fight. Even in the second fight, he adjusted and regain back his confidence. So I doubt that he is still affected by the first lost against Ruiz.
3315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 14, 2021, 01:13:58 AM

Again, to bring back his confidence, he should fight b-level fighters knock them out. In that way, he can feel good about himself. The road might be long, but that's the only way he can bring back his mind to become a champion again.
Wilder is currently trying to recover his broken hands against fury a few days ago and in some media, wilder's coach said that if wilder is currently refusing to retire after breaking his hands and reportedly wilder will again target a comeback fight in May 2022 against Anthony Joshua, and of course if the fight can be realized of course he will be able to improve his career record after the defeat against fury.

Oh i didnt expect that he ending up with broken hands against fighting with Fury but well this man do still deserve some respect yet he did really give out that outstanding performance against Fury even though
he do lost up but at least he do try his best and didnt really make out any excuses after the fight and instead he do say about future plans about fighting AJ to rebuilt up his career
which is really a good plan to be have.

Of course, even the former heavyweight are giving respect to Wilder to giving everything in the ring and the fight is considered one of the best fights we have in the HW division. Unfortunately, he has lost, and had a lot of injuries in his hands and he needs time to heal them, not just his body but his mind as well and try to go back to the drawing boards with his coach. He seems he improved a lot, it's just that the added weight on him become an issue as the fight progresses. Remember that this is the biggest he got in the trilogy and maybe in his career.

Let him rest first and then see what will be the landscape of the division in 2022. Maybe AJ can get back his belt, maybe Fury will face his mandatory. Still a lot of options if he doesn't want to retire yet.
3316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 14, 2021, 12:42:05 AM
I have a small wager on Tsitsipas to win, Over 20.5.

Top seed Medvedev lost to Dimitrov, I wasn't surprised as Dimitrov is playing good in this tournament.

Basilashvili though upset Khachanov in a very close match. It was just that Basilashvili was able to break Khachanov in the first set. And then it was a a battle in the second set.
3317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: October 13, 2021, 04:42:58 AM

November 20th is going to the day of boxing between Three-devision WBO welterweight Champ Crawford Vs Two-devision titlelist Porter. The purse was agreed to 60:40 (Crawford : Porter) instead of regular 80:20 so that Crawford gets $6 Million and Porter gets $4 Million. WBO has planned to livestream the match on their facebook page on 20th November. Eagerly awaiting to watch. A big fight between champions.

that's a handsome payout during this pandemic period. win or lose, they have their pockets full going home. bookies are heavily favouring crawford here. but upset can happen anytime. but it seems they are pretty confident giving odds for crawford at only 1.1x.
we may see another toe-to-toe fight in the boxing ring after this fury-wilder trilogy fight. at least the money of boxing fans are not wasted with boring and dull fights. we need explosive fights inside the ring so this boxing sports will keep afloat in the market.

It's always a handsome dividend when two of the best fighters are going to face each other. And maybe this is the main reason why suddenly Crawford goes out of his comfort zone to fight non-TR fighters for the first time in many years.

Remember that this is the minimum that they are going to get, there's still money to be made in the PPV and live gates a well.

Just to be fair with Crawford, he always wanted to fight and been calling them, including Errol Spence. And he even said that Spence duck him or, maybe there is a money issue.

So it's good that finally he will fight a non-TR fighter and hopefully we can still see him and Spence in the ring in the future. Or even a Thurman or Ugas fight might be good as well. And it's a winnable fight for Crawford that could cement him as the best welterweight of this generation.
3318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs. Rolando Romero - December 5 on: October 13, 2021, 02:15:56 AM

Because we all favour Davis here, he has the tools and has slowly gaining experience. As compare to Romero who hasn't touch any fighter in the level of Davis.

I like Davis chances on this fight, but a boxer with the power to knock out can pull out an upset, I'm looking at Barrios performance against Davis, Barrios has the power the skills but cannot find a good opening to land his big punches and when he initiates he always get caught by Davis counterpunch, and Romero keeps calling Davis little man, now this is a bad strategy, he is undermining Davis power if he takes that mindset against him, he will be in big trouble.

And Davis was the one going up in weight, and many question if he can bring that power to super lightweight. But all questions have been answered when he knocks out Barrios, a natural lightweight. And now Romero calling him little man? LOL, that's any invitation for a knock out. This Romero hasn't proved anything yet and belittling the champion, that's the worst strategy in the books. I wouldn't be surprised is Davis won by a big knockout again.

Things have really changed now, before it's the champion who is talking trash to the challenger, now it's different, it's the challenger that is no anymore humble and underestimates the champion. Maybe it's just a marketing strategy but if it will affect the boxer's emotion, it might fuel him to work harder and go for a KO, which as a fan we like as we benefit from it.

Yes, probably he wanted to get the attention and wanted to fight Davis and he is confident that he can defeat this version of Davis, which we boxing fans doubt.

Romero trash talking Davis and like what Plant did to Canelo, I think we will see champions shutting the mouth of thei opponents.

Boxers do take it personally, like what Canelo is for the Caleb fight. And the same here, Davis will definitely go for the KO because he is capable of, and in essence shut the mouth of Romero and give him a lesson not to trash talk to him and any champion.
3319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 13, 2021, 01:30:13 AM
There's a rumor that there is an internal conflict between Casimero and his management team, the MP Promotions. If only MPP did participate on the purse bid then somehow the money that will go to Casimero would likely be bigger than this. It's just awkward that there is only one promotional company (Probellum) that participated in that bid.

Though Casimero will get a 70% share of the pie i think that's too small for setting up for training camp, pay for hotels, and airfare as words had it that he will be on his own for this fight unless things with his boss will be iron out.
So that's the main reason why the bidding for this match isn't that much and he's fine doing it for the sake of others that he's helping and there's a little benefit for Casimero to fight this match?
What a noble man.

It's not that the money was too small, it was the written rule by the WBO.

The problem is that no other promotional companies bid for this fight, not even MP promotions. MP could have bid higher than $105,000 and secure it for Casimero. However, they didn't and that's probably there is rumour running around Casimero not happy with MP. But we are just waiting for the schedule, although Casimero will get 70% of the purse, it is still small as a regular champion, in my opinion.
Its a personal point of view if it was actually small but having 70% isnt half bad either but well its a personal choice and decisions had been made but i agree that its just really just too small.

Is there something we can do? There's not because they do always having the decision in the end its neither you would accept on the terms or would just simply skip out
and disagree.

For now lets just wait on what would happen next.

That 70% is not significant because we are talking of a very small amount here, it was only over $100k which was their price and it's a small fight for a championship fight. Maybe no problem for Butler as he is the challenger here and we want to take that belt but it could be an insult to Casimero because he had a bigger purse in his previous fights compared to what he is getting now.

Obviously, its not that significant numbers for Casimero because he is a world champion already.

But who knows how much he got from the last fight with Micah? maybe around that numbers too.

So it's fine by now, but if he ever hits the lottery on fighting Inoue or Donaire, that numbers will balloon. And this is small weight class, the big numbers is in the welterweight and heavyweight in boxing.
3320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 13, 2021, 12:44:38 AM
I see a some upsets both on women and men side.

Leylah Fernandez run has to end against the hands of Shelby Rogers. It was a marathon match, two hours++, but in the end in was Rogers this time on top, 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7/4). Swiatek was also booted out by Ostapenko in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3.

In the men side Berrettini and Carreno Busta is also out. Zrevev won against Murray, but it was a very close match.
