3301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoin market has become scammer's playground on: November 30, 2021, 10:09:43 PM
The cryptocurrency market is virtually uncontrolled. Anyone can create their own empty token and easily propagate it using even the most primitive methods. There are a lot of money-hungry, "not frightened" newbie investors who do not want to waste their time studying the essence of the project. And this is just a godsend for any scammers.
The thing I'm worried about in the future if there are no more valuable projects will ever be created. And aside from that, this gives a reason why people will never trust crypto anymore if that they only see worthless projects coming and they feel that they are just scammed.

That is why I'd like to have regulations and strict rules regarding crypto projects and before its final release on the market for selling, it should be tagged as legit already so people will be sure that they don't lose their money but instead, to have assurance for returns. In this case, this helps the crypto in general to grow, not to become devalued.
3302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make money day trading Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2021, 01:20:33 PM
Making money in day trading is easy but it has more risks as compared to the long term holding. As day trading requires more time and it requires constant concentration, so you should have to analyze the coins really well before buying the coin as there will be more loss in day trading when the price dumps as compared to long term holding.
Making money in day trading isn't easy. One cannot easily predict the price movements same as that of the stock market. Here no one knows how the market changes were happening. Even the experts fail in providing precise data about the market movements. One should have basic learning about trading and also the mind to learn continuously observing the market which will increase the chance of making money through trading.
Yeah, I don't know how these people think that trading is easy. Perhaps, to be in real trading is quite difficult.
Of course, we can make some good profit from trading but we never think that it happens all the time we do trading. No, that unless we are a lucky person or that we know the market so well and even see what will happen next. But as long as we don't know yet and the market volatility remains, that means really impossible.
3303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or hardware wallet ? on: November 29, 2021, 11:13:08 PM
Hardware wallets are the main wallets that are used to store crypto assets more securely and have full control over the assets we have.
While the use of Exchange is only as a trading mode, and some large exchanges like Binance can still be trusted to store our crypto assets.
Nonetheless, exchanges are still vulnerable to break-ins. Both wallets have their own advantages and disadvantages.
The only advantage that exchange wallets have is we can make use of the coin to trade easily. But in terms of safety and security assurance, there is nothing we can find, even know exchanges like Binance can't give that, how much more of the others?

If that we only just hold, exchange wallet is not the best choice. We'd rather use wallets either online or offline wallet as long as we have full control of the keys as we already know that we are secured enough. But of course, we must be careful in accessing sites as the usual reason why people lost their accounts.
3304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: November 29, 2021, 09:24:27 PM
Bitcoin has made good progress today compared to last three days today Bitcoin almost touched $60k ($59,390) as a result we have seen decent progress in other altcoins as well. Either this is a breakout point wherein bitcoin will proceed towards new ATH or a bull trap but I don't think it would be a bull trap as market just went through correction phase. What's your opinion on bitcoin at the moment?
What is certain is that bitcoin is undergoing a correction, but today it is in a recovery phase, progress from the correction to recovery will take place at the beginning of this month, but for this time it is difficult for us to analyze bitcoin further, whether this is a bull trap or an upward phase a much higher price, but still many people are optimistic that bitcoin will hit the target as many observers predicted, either at the end of the year or early next year, let's see what will happen?

If we notice today's market then we could say bitcoin is definitely at the stage of progress post correction. I think bitcoin will cruise towards $70k by the first two weeks of December and then we might see one more temporary dump or extended bearish period mostly the end of the year is gloomy for bitcoin, but I feel this year it would be different and investors would buy more at dip and we can take MicroStrategy as an example who has accumulated a total of 7008 bitcoin since October.
That always it comes as expected. Yeah, it was very noticing to see that there is a slow recovery moving back to $60k once again. It is a repeating situation and we dare not to worry about every drops it made as surely this will be resolved in time. And those who accumulate Bitcoin during the correction, I could dare to say that they are now a profit. That is why we couldn't have to underestimate the capability of the market, for several times that we tend to think negative but despite those things, we still holding and hoping for a brighter future.
3305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin up since after Dump? on: November 28, 2021, 11:16:51 PM
Traders like me has wondered the next move for bitcoin. Ever since the dump that happened few days ago, it's been almost stagnant at $63k.

What does your technical analyst say about it?
It has been almost a month that we have never seen huge changes in the price. Bitcoin is still below $60k but it was still a good price for me.

We are currently at $56k now but I expect corrections any time as the Christmas holiday's come. But, I don't think that we even drop more below $50k next month but I'd rather think about recovery.

Well, we can't just set aside any possibility of huge corrections. We know the market is unpredictable, we can be positive but never think that it all goes that way or that it goes in the opposite. Well, much better not to expect more.
3306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is burning coins good on: November 26, 2021, 09:13:10 PM
The intention of the Burning that is carried out seems to reduce the supply of Crypto, by burning the coins will decrease in circulation, resulting in an increase in prices in the future, meaning that with the reduction of coins due to burning, it will affect the growth of its value for the better. this is the purpose of doing it.
This strategy is also very attractive to investors, however, there are some projects that do not burn their coins and yet investors are still investing. it means, the quality of the project does not base on burning its supply only, it's more on how the team will develop the project to improve, which means, we have to be careful in choosing an investment, don't invest right away if we read the words "burning of supply/coins" as it doesn't right away tells a pump of price.
3307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Is the bubble about to burst?" on: November 26, 2021, 08:09:16 PM
Everyone can make their own prediction and speculation based on the current market status.

As the market is struggling now due to bitcoin dump, then it will be easier for them to once again spread some FUD.
I'm getting used to it already, as an investor, I just have to choose which article to read which would fit my personal belief and views of what would happen in the future.
3308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: November 26, 2021, 07:51:11 PM
I would grow a longer nose than Pinocchio if I say I don't own any meme coins. Hell, I have gotten good profits from selling my bags. But I won't do any meme coin on long term. Not yet. I only do them short term. Maybe 2 weeks tops. Dump them. Get another bag. Dump. Rinse and do it again
That's the correct strategy, but next time, make sure you but it at the right timing so you will not hold it longer, we never know if meme coins we are holding would pump or will just dump at all, so it's also a big risk buying it, but anyway, that's how crypto is, big risk/big reward, just choose to be smart.
3309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 26, 2021, 02:25:13 PM
..if Butler goes this route, for sure this match might ended early with stoppage or knock out.
That's what we want to see because it will make him prepared for his next fight.

Butler is an aggressive fighter, but probably smarter than Micah, so we can't easily say that Casimero will win by KO but hopefully, he will.
It's necessary that Casimero will win this in a convincing passion to ensure a big fight next, and no other fight that will satisfy him, and that is to fight Inoue which is the most popular in their division.

I don't know if how true is this.

https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/sports/boxing/809644/naoya-inoue-up-next-for-casimero-if-he-wins-upcoming-fight/story/
Quote
"The big news is [MP Promotions President] Sean Gibbons confirmed that he is in talks with Japanese promoter Akihiko Honda. If Casimero beats the scale and beats Paul Butler, this is guaranteed," Henson said.

We are expecting to see that, but as long as no contract has been signed yet, there's a chance that the fight will not happen. They are just trying to put some hype to make their names popular, but Inoue here should stand with his words and fight Casimero.

That's a one-sided statement only, it's only coming from the camp of Casimero, we should also hear from the camp of Inoue confirming such information. I think it's too early to think of that, Casimero still has a job to finish, and he should not take Butler lightly as it could destroy his plan if he loses in his fight.
3310  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think does this Cities have that we dont? on: November 26, 2021, 02:03:28 PM
It's the people that will normally drive adoption, and since people elected the people who will govern the country, they should be listening to what people want, and crypto although new can be regulated so adoption is happening because the government is willing to adopt and regulate crypto.

In our country, crypto is already regulated but the adoption is still low, well, what can I expect, our country is not as rich as the countries listed in the OP, so we will just follow, but it's better than to be left behind.
3311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 26, 2021, 01:42:18 PM
I'm not actually watching MPBL but because of Marc, I might be following a few games not only from him though. It's really good to see someone out from retirement goes back.

MPBL is more entertaining to watch compared to PBA. Cheesy
~
Can I ask where can I watch MPBL games?
I'm not following them back since but since you said that the physicality there is more entertaining than PBA who had these very soft calls and very inappropriate calls which makes the league more boring to watch.

I don't know but I just love to watch basketball games that has a bit of physicality since it is how PBA started. There is physicality involved like how the NBA is back in the Jordan Era around 80-90's (correct me).

https://www.teampilipinas.info/2018/03/mpbl-live-updates-schedule-results.html
ABS-CBN Sports is the official broadcaster of the league and will air games of the MPBL through its ABS-CBN S+A channel

I rarely watch this league too, so I am not familiar with what channels are covering them now.
If they have a online live streaming in youtube, that would be better.
3312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Race to $1000, which one would hit first? SOL or BNB? on: November 26, 2021, 12:18:04 PM
BNB. Yes it's my choice which will hit the $1000 price first but I don't know when that will happen, whether next year or this year. For me, BNB has much more users than SOL. Of course, the trust of many parties in BNB is the determining factor in my opinion.
BNB could manipulate their own exchange, they can bring some hype that will make people invest in BNB, so most likely it will go first before SOL will hit the $1000 mark. Actually, it doesn't matter which coin will hit first as long as investors are happy because these two coins are very profitable this year and their success could be enough already this year and continue the run by next year.
3313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the end of crypto? on: November 26, 2021, 11:51:30 AM
ALL Crypto is crashing. What happened to crypto? Is it the end of crypto?
To me this question is a joke.
How do you view crypto so that you come up with questions like this. Cryptocurrencies will be a future transaction tool in my opinion if the benefits of cryptocurrencies are known by many people. When crypto activity crashes, it doesn't mean it will end. Or don't you yourself don't understand the benefits of crypto.
But it’s still dropping now. It hasn’t pumped up in the past few days.
That's normal, we will also witness a downtrend as it's part of the cycle in crypto, if you expect an uptrend only, then you don't understand what you are doing, you might view crypto as a ponzi scheme or a bubble that when it goes down it's gonna disappear, crypto is different, it will go down but it will survive.
3314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's pay attention to BNB? on: November 26, 2021, 11:12:56 AM
While BNB was at $331 dollars on September 29, the upward trend of the last week is remarkable. I think that after BTC's correction, BNB will correct itself. BNB, which has risen to the level of $ 440, does not seem to be a surprise to reach the level of $ 500 by the end of the year.

Looks like BNB is making ATH again sooner

it is climbing more than 20% just as of this moment and the climb is continuously happening.
i think any moment today or tomorrow Binance coin will make another History .

Maybe not yet, BNB dump today due to Bitcoin's downtrend movement, as of this writing, bitcoin is down 6%, and I don't expect it will dump since it slowly recovered when it hit $55k, now it's trading at $54k which for me is already alarming and we fall below below that level.
3315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 25, 2021, 09:51:10 PM
But Tyson is used to fight bigger guys before, so for sure he still has that experience under his belt eventhough he is already old. So for me, I doubt that Logan Paul knows how to take advantage of his reach against even a ageing Mike Tyson.

And with that, it will still be Tyson who has all the tools, power, experience. But this could be another setup exhibition though.
Yes, you are correct, I had not remembered this important variable.

Well, better for Tyson and worse for Logan Paul...probably with the difference in height and wingspan, I believe Mike Tyson will do anything to place the closest to Paul.
I remember, in his prime, Tyson performed these moves against bigger opponents.

But he is not anymore in his prime now, already at 55 years old so there's a lot of question if he can still KO a younger opponent. Though I believe in his capacity to do it, I also make sure that I'm open to seeing the opposite of my expectation as Tyson is really old, period.

Not in his prime but still a very dangerous boxer, for him to be able to fight at age 55, that shows how he high is his passion in boxing and we are going to see him win, probably by KO against a fighter that thinks he can beat a legend.
3316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 25, 2021, 09:14:46 PM
This is why I think it is going to be difficult to see that fight, I really do not think that Lopez is tying to avoid Lomachenko, we know that fighters say a lot of things to try to hype up the fight but as soon as it is over they give each other a hug and then they give praise to their opponent on the post-fight interviews.

However it seems to me the problems of Lopez and Lomachenko are real and this means Lopez will do everything he can to not give Lomachenko a chance at challenging him for his titles.

Lopez's only chance of avoiding a rematch is to move to a different weight class. If he does not do this, then sooner or later he will be forced to enter this fight or give up the belt. In addition, such avoidance of a strong opponent is always bad for a boxer's reputation, and should not be abused.
I agree that it does not look good however it does not mean that it cannot be done, we have seen something similar many times before, so unless Lomachenko can establish himself as the number one ranked challenger then it could pass a lot of time before he can get another shot with Lopez above the ring.

And as you stated if this is personal, and I have every reason to think this is the case, then Lopez could move up a division out of spite, that way Lomachenko will have no way to avenge the defeat he suffered at the hands of Lopez.

The fact that the fans are wanting to see a rematch, means they see it as a good fight and they still believe that Loma could come back and beat Lopez. If Lopez really is into real challenges and to make decent money, then why not take the rematch and proved to the fans once again that he is the better fighter.
3317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 25, 2021, 08:59:52 PM
But GGG should be the outstanding favourite here, even if the odds are not yet out.

His only lost is to Canelo but others think otherwise, plus he is the more active of the two, while Murata is out for two years.

Although GGG will be 40 years old, we think that still have the determination to become the greatest MW of all time. He has defended his belt many times already and I don't think that Murata will be the one that is going to stop GGG at this point.
The fact that GGG has been more active lately is something that is going to be important during the fight, boxing is like any skill, if you do not use it you run the risk of that skill deteriorating, in the case of GGG this is not going to be much of an issue as he has been fighting all his life, but Murata is young so this could play against him, I am not saying that he will forget how to fight but that he could come a little bit rusty and against a fighter like GGG that can be more than enough to secure him a win.

Will see, as though these boxers are not active lately but with their record, it shows they are maintaining themselves to be ready all the time, so I don't think that word "rusty" is something big enough to consider a fighter might have a disadvantage. Per record and based on the fights I saw, I would always favor GGG to win this fight, no ifs.
3318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO..India is NOT Banning Bitcoin on: November 25, 2021, 02:33:45 PM
They will likely just regulate it, but if they will ban the use of bitcoin as a payment method, then that would not help to increase its adoption as in the first place, we are hoping that bitcoin will be adopted as a payment system so the demand will increase. It doesn't make sense to me really, people will buy bitcoin to invest, that would only make the price more volatile.
3319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: November 25, 2021, 02:12:53 PM
Banking system is another thing and BTC is another. In banking system you invest you worth and you are then fully depends on bank and their system but here Bitcoin is a online bank in it self its full in your hands you can use it anytime everywhere.
Most of us do not invest in the bank, we just use the service of banks because we like to save our money, to make it safe as they have insurance.

However, we should not expect that putting our money in the bank will help us gain profit as it will never happen, reasons are because of the inflation rate per year while the banks do not provide good interest to the deposits for their savings, so use the bank to save money, not ot invest, because the right way to invest is putting your money in crypto or in real-life business.
3320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: November 25, 2021, 01:35:46 PM
Another exciting fight to watch for. This should be a good challenge for Ancajas as although he has a better record, but Kazuto Ioka's 27 wins record is also good, it means he has the experience in boxing and he can give Ancajas a problem in this fight. Waiting for the betting odds, so we have an idea of who will be listed as the favorite to win.
