Is the meme coin still worth holding

Personally, I have never bought meme coins because for me it only gives profit at the beginning and the price will continue to decline from day to day. but if I have it then I will sell it at the beginning when the price is rising. for me, it is better to invest or trade with coins that do have good prospects and can be trusted so that they are safer and we can control them well.

What's your reason for still holding the meme coin in your wallet, and when do you intend selling it all off to buy a more purposeful coin or token. Are you holding just because of the hype, or do you have any analysis be it technical or fundamental technique that is giving you a go ahead signal to hold more or the hype is doing the work for you.

The simplest reason of buying and holding any coin is to make profit and we do make it in trading meme coins too when they are in hype which happens once in a while  technically  meme coins are side ways  most of the time or in accumulation zone but break out happen during Alts Bull Run. Fundamentally all meme coins are not strong because their use case is weak  with some exception for Shiba Inu, its team building shiba DeFi, swap and NFT platform to build it use case..

To all my friends who have meme coins, like Shiba Inu, Doge, my advice is to sell that while you can, because in an eventual fall of BTC, those coins will not be saved, they will be decapitalized so much that it will be very strong to recover, I think that meme coins are only for Pump and Dump, for me they have no other use, but to leave them in that mode to be able to make a profit when they decide to pump it, but for the rest I do not trust those coins that are easy to disappear .

Some are. I think one that may be worth hodling is GM. They are doing big things over there. Another I like is called DAC- Degen Apes Club. Might be another GM in the making. But lets be real, I am not sure any meme coin is a 5 year+ hodl at this point in time.

Coin memes in my opinion are still a trend and are good for us to make investment opportunities, DOGE has been around for more than 9 years and exists until now, a newcomer Shiba Inu appears who is often trending in various media and makes many people invest in Shiba, I'm currently investing about 12 coin memes with a value of around $5000.

The way things are going now it looks like meme coins are going down in value and are becoming less and less valuable.

Memes era is at and end, and NFTs despite the ETH fees are still going up in adoption because of the PvP, and PvE element.

That's the correct strategy, but next time, make sure you but it at the right timing so you will not hold it longer, we never know if meme coins we are holding would pump or will just dump at all, so it's also a big risk buying it, but anyway, that's how crypto is, big risk/big reward, just choose to be smart.

we know meme coin because it dont give any move for some years. we hold that coin because we dont know if it meme coin, and we have big expectation about it. hype will be taken by new member, they just following most people do with no information.

i have experience, hold coin from bounty for 2year ++, and the price is shocking, like from nothing to a thing.

The market is like that. If there's a loser, then there's someone who for sure has gained from that person. It's a choice by everyone being done if they want to get with meme coins as part of their portfolio.

It's a pretty bold move if you ask me for holding meme coins where it's pretty much like a gamble in general. You could be at the top and rich in instant but you could lose on that because it depends on the hype around those memes.

I'd say for me personally, I won't hold meme coins ever even in the future considering how big the risk is, the risk itself i can't handle it.

Although the meme coin has no intrinsic value, it is just a joke and was created for fun, but it has succeeded in attracting a lot of investors. They see that it makes quick profits, but they may lose their money in the blink of an eye, so investing in the meme coin is in my opinion just hype and luck and you must be prepared To lose everything you invest. Therefore, I don't see that meme coin is worth holding it in the long, but if you want to buy it and hold it, you have to invest in it with an amount that you can afford to lose.

If a memecoin like dogecoin that survived for a long time and not delisted in markets and many people still supporting it, Yes it is still worth holding but dont forget there is still risk. The meme is like a flavor in the digital world which is enjoyed by many because of its humor as well as in crypto the memecoin will stay here and as the name implies people who hold memecoins are transformed into a memeCreatures base on the result of their investment in memecoins, either they are instant millionaire or turn to homeless.

If we just hold them but receive nothing in return, I don't think about it. People are expecting profit why they use to hold coins and these meme coins seem to give less to nothing. Even Dogecoin exists for many years but only the hypes give the people an opportunity to gain profit, not because this project has the potential.
Shiba Inu has also on the hot side at this time but we are not sure how this could last and holding this coin is a huge risk, unless if they have a working product that would give a chance to uplift their price.

depending on the type of meme coin you hold. if it's doge or shiba, it looks like it's good enough to hold on to for now, but on condition, you can take the risk if the price dumps sometime, because we know that most memecoins are just hype driven.
however, as for the other memecoins, I don't really know, but other than those two coins, I personally wouldn't hold any other memecoins for long.
