3301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Saves my relatives both of Life, Time and money on: July 27, 2022, 02:50:09 PM
so he buy $1 million worth of bitcoin and back to his country Immediately. Bitcoin saves both his time and money. And he was able to back safely to his own country with his money.

I'm wondering how or where he was able to buy $1 million worth of bitcoin. No one could just easily convert that amount of cash to crypto unless you know someone that can do peer-to-peer trading. It's risky to do that via a country's local bitcoin exchanger because like in my country, you need to go through AMLC before buying that huge amount of bitcoin.
3302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right time to invest on: July 27, 2022, 01:15:43 PM
Bitcoin is down 65% as of now from its ATH so this is the best time for me to invest for someone who is newbie. Though I don't suggest going all-in if they are buying at this point because we are currently in bear market and it just started recently so price could still go lower until end of this year. Divide your capital to many portion so you can buy at lower prices when it dips even further. By doing this, you also minimize the risk of losing your capital quickly.
3303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: July 27, 2022, 12:21:24 PM
I am doing trading since more than Four years and earning good  but i want more capital for big trade setups, so any pro trader please suggest me that how can i raise fund for my trading.

How much capital are you looking for to do those trade setups. You said you've been earning good from trading for four years and for me that is already long enough to accumulate a huge capital if you are really good at it.

No sensible person will trust you their money even if you claim that you are good in trading. And do not attempt to raise fund by yourself promising the investors a percentage of profit from trading if they invest to you.
3304  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: July 27, 2022, 07:03:41 AM
I believe that these jackpots have its own 'trigger' after x bets, hence why these lucky people got it with just a small amount of bet at the time that the jackpot landed on them. Also, maybe these jackpots are handed out after a certain time to establish that the casino is 'all fair and square' after raking huge sums from those machines itself.

If I am correct, this is how crane games on arcade works. The crane game owner sets the "x" number of token being used before someone can win. If it's as simple as that then anyone can put the minimum amount until they hit the jackpot.

We don't really know how these casino trigger their jackpot on their games because the winners of it are different types of people and the dates have no pattern. There are some who casually gamble and there are some that just gamble out of curiosity what will happen to their single penny but unexpectedly win.

thanks for not asking KYC because indeed we hate this to be filled up.

They do require KYC on their platform before anyone can withdraw and even stricter requirements for bigger deposits and withdrawals.

Quote
The reason behind this is to prove that the details of the person registered are correct and the deposit methods used are not stolen or being used by someone else, which is to create the general framework for the fight against money laundering.

If you have nothing to hide from the authorities then I don't see anything wrong with casinos asking for KYC. They just want to protect their business from criminals. If you're afraid complying with these rules because you don't trust the casino then choose a reputable one that has already some good reviews in terms of these regulations.

3306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys think is the best crypto signals group on Telegram? on: July 25, 2022, 02:57:49 PM
Don't rely on crypto signals you see on telegram or any other social messaging app. If those were really accurate then everyone would really quit their job and just wait for those signals to place their trade. You will just lose money if you rely on someone when trading. If you really want to earn from trading then you should learn how to read charts and candlesticks by yourself.
3307  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: July 25, 2022, 01:45:38 PM

Bitcoin is really the best choice when investing into cryptocurrencies but putting all your investment fund is very risky thing to do. It's price is very volatile and there could be a time that when you decide to sell some of it, its price could be lower than what you've bought it. It's always better to diversify your investments to reduce the risk of losing it all instantly. You should also have a physical investment like real estate not just focus on digital assets.
3308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start accepting BTC? on: July 25, 2022, 12:33:58 PM
Despite its volatility, accepting bitcoin as form of payment on your business is always a good decision. If you want to avoid its quick ups and downs, you can just immediately convert it to fiat or stablecoin to not lose profit. If you have a deep capital on your business, then you can save some percentage of it for the future. It can also help to attract more customers to support your business once they knew you are spreading awareness about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
3309  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: July 25, 2022, 11:16:44 AM
People create so many worthless fixed expenses nowadays. It can be monthly subscriptions of services they barely use, eating out too often, purchasing superfluous clothes, accessories and items in general just for vanity towards the society.

This is hard to avoid especially if you are stress in your job or daily routine in life. We also need to invest on our mental health so it's ok to treat our self atleast once a month for the things we like to do. The things you've said could only be a problem if the person is spending too much to compete with the people from his surroundings even if he really can't afford it. There are some people that become in debt just to keep up with the trend.
3310  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: July 25, 2022, 06:40:39 AM
Do you have any memorable events where your expenses were very low but you got relatively high returns in casino gambling or any kind of Sports betting?

This is something I can't really forget in my crypto journey. I was new to bitcoin and crypto gambling that time and I managed to earn some few amounts from faucets. I was thinking how I could grow it to even more so I can buy something I want. I came across to this sportsbook where you can use bitcoin to predict the outcome of some games. I got familiarized by how it works on some NBA games I put a bet on like lower odds means higher chance of winning because the team is stronger. I bet on a volleyball game and choose the team with lower odds even if I don't have complete knowledge of the team playing. Luckily, I managed to make 0.02btc that time with my 0.001 capital going all-in for each bet per game. I got very greedy that when I bet the 0.02btc on a game, the opposing team with higher odd won the game. It was evening that day that I wasn't able to sleep because of that experience.
3311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet address and the mistake some might make on: July 25, 2022, 05:38:51 AM
Other than the possibility of committing an error, manually inputting a Bitcoin address every time you make a transaction is too much of a hassle. Who actually does that?

To me, and probably to a lot of Bitcoin users as well, we don't manually type the characters of the address one by one not actually because we're afraid we might miss a number or a letter but because it requires too much effort when there's actually a much easier option available.

I've never seen anyone type manually the recipient's address. It just presents bigger risk than just copy and pasting it. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible so a single mistake will be a huge regret to the sender.

For copy-paste malware issues, your device won't easily be affected by that as long as you are careful when downloading files or opening some links.

A coin is native to its Blockchain. It uses its own Blockchain and keeps track of the data, store value, validates transactions and keeps the Blockchain secure. They are used for governance, transactional fees and other related use cases.

Example:
Quote
ETH is the cryptocurrency native to the Ethereum Blockchain, there are many other different tokens that also utilise the Ethereum Blockchain. Crypto tokens built on top of Ethereum include MATIC, LINK, andUSDT.

What tranthidung said was right. There are many blockchain network that we have now like BSC, ERC20, Terra network, etc. and each of them has tokens created under their network. If the coin that supports that particular blockchain collapse, then the token under it will lose its value unless they create their own blockchain or migrate to a different network.
3313  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 25, 2022, 03:38:02 AM
Can i use this sporsbook using vpn? Not available in my country (EU , not USA)

Found this on their TOS page.

They said you need a consent directly from Roobet so it would be better to not use it at all to avoid future issues.

Usually online casinos don't really allow the use of vpn on their platforms but there are few others that allow it so if you really need to use it to gamble, you should ask about it first on their customer support.
3314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Give up getting rekt in cryptocurrency. on: July 25, 2022, 02:15:03 AM
It's not possible to get rich quickly

This is what most newbies forget. They think that investing into cryptocurrencies is a get-rich-quick scheme that makes them take big risk in their finances just to buy crypto. They are too much focused on the potential profit that they forget to study more about the project they're investing. When the price of that crypto goes down because of bear market or the hype is gone and developers are not active anymore, it leaves them a bad impression about the whole crypto space and think these are scam.
3315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to tell when a trading bot is a scam on: July 24, 2022, 12:41:12 PM
if you are a programmer and can make your own bot and you use it yourself, that would be better, because you already know that the bot has some advantages and disadvantages.
If you ask about why analytics companies build bots, of course the main goal is profit, bot companies build bots with some premium features and have to pay a few dollars to be able to use them, that is already an initial advantage. However, the accuracy that bots can provide will not always be the same, even some of them are just scam bots that will take your money.
So just study manual analysis, because it's better than using obscure bots.

If you're good in doing technical analysis in trading, having a trading bot will help you lessen your time monitoring the market. It's not like a script like what some scammers say that guarantees profit. Its accuracy depends on how you will set its trades. Companies build bots not just for profit, it is to make their customers' life more easier via automation. What you pay is the time you will lessen using those bots.
3316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: July 24, 2022, 11:35:23 AM
Let us forget about the world and talk about us in this forum for a start. How many of us here use use bitcoin as a currency for buying, selling and paying for services? Very little percentage of us right? This is to tell you that the world is not interested to use bitcoin as a currency, rather as a store of value which will appreciate and give profits.
So, if bitcoin Will succeed as a currency, it should start with us.

It's the scarcity that makes it difficult to become a currency we can just use casually in daily life. When I was new to bitcoin, I used it to buy some stuff online like computer games or topup some credits on my mobile phone. But as many years pass and seeing its growth, you will regret doing it and just hodl it as much as you can.

Volatility is also the issue, many people will not embrace a currency that can make them rich today and become broke tomorrow.
3317  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 24, 2022, 05:45:01 AM
@xSkylarx people with criminal records can still do KYC is he/she funds is from a good source and never abuse the casino rules and regulations.

How can a casino say or prove that the money he's using is from a good source if the person already has criminal records? It's like saying the authorities won't arrest a criminal on an airport that is trying to escape because he doesn't violate any rules within the area.

If a casino allows him to play on their platform then they are risking their business that could result to a permanent closure once authorities knew it.
3318  Economy / Gambling / Re: Multidice.io | The multi-currency dice game | 35+ cryptos on: July 24, 2022, 04:55:40 AM
A true airdrop will only require you to do the task one time only.

Seems like you missed the bounties hype way back 2017. Back in the days, they airdrop some tokens where you need to share on your timeline when they post something on their social media page. The amount you will received depends on how much active you are from liking, commenting, and sharing their posts. Anyone can join it as long as they have their own social media account unlike bounties where for me, it is only exclusive for members on this forum. If you don't have an account during those times and the rank is not qualified then you won't be able to participate from it.
3319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 24, 2022, 03:31:31 AM
With that, do you think it is worth moderating our gambling engagement to maximize the benefits of gambling activities?

Gambling is a form of entertainment so there are definitely some benefits you will get from it. The only problem is people get too much addicted because of its huge price that you can win that can change your life IF you're lucky. Gambling in moderation only works for people who does it for fun and not for profit but for people who thinks it is the answer to their financial problem, it will only cause more harm to their health.
3320  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you safely keep your recovery phrase written on paper? on: July 23, 2022, 08:44:09 AM
When you bought your Trezor, how many papers were provided for backup? Three right? You can have three backups in three different locations.

I bought their latest model Trezor T last year and it only provided me 2 papers for backup.

-snip
What about flash memory, engraving your seed phrase on metal, eventually laminating your paper, and storing it all in several versions away from mom's eyes?

It's only one piece of paper from Trezor T. It doesn't contain all my crypto assets there.

Are USB or flash drive considered flash memory? I'm also using it as a form of backup to my other wallets. Is it safe to use those even if you connect it to your computer which is connected online? Engraving it on a metal will just be the same to my mother, if she sees it somewhere in our house then she could throw it away because she doesn't have any idea what it is.

You told that you left your paper backup on computer table. That is very bad practice. So not onky your mom but others who can access your table will be able to find it. You must store it safely from water, fire and oublic eyes. That means you must store it somewhere very privately and secretly.

Lol. First, start cleaning up your own room! If you're old enough to be on Bitcointalk (for 6 years already), you shouldn't need your mom to clean up after you. Second: don't leave recovery phrases laying around for anyone to find! If you insist on keeping it close to your table for anyone to see, at least tape it under it so it can't easily get lost.

My mom is a meticulous person. Even if I cleaned it myself, she would still clean it thinking that there are still some stuffs that are unfixed.

It's not really on my table which can be seen by anyone. I placed it under my mousepad where no one would think something important is beneath there.
