Site is up for me, but I haven't been able to log in yet.  Maybe there's like 1million ppl trying to log in at the moment though.

My error messages:

I doubt any sigs are going to accomodate legendary since there's no new space/colors in the sig space associated.  I think legendary is a purely cosmetic rank.

All this talk about tips, how do you get it?  Just happened to be in the chat and participating when it happens?

As far as I can tell, that's what's up.  Micro or some admin decides to love you and then you notice wow, my balance just went up.

I didn't get the 522 error for a second there, but the site also didn't load, now it's back to 522 error.

Just for reference:

I just signed up for this awesome campaign:
Nick: Hfleer
Postcount: 791
Status: Sr.Member
Address: 1MmmBMVbRrpfvoN6tCK1xK1a61bPgTsNxE

Question: I just signed up, can I claim the first payment already on the 17th or do I need to wait a month?

Thank you

If you have over 50 posts at 17th then you can claim.

Why do you need refrence for your status, name and address Shocked Grin

Maybe because the dude is just trying to remember whatever info he put into the form at the time of signup.  I had a similar problem, I couldn't tell when exactly I signed up the first month because I didn't make a bookkeeping post.  As to the address, many ppl use multiple addresses, perhaps this guy is just trying to remember which one he gave to primedice.

You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity

LOL

I'm less than a month from becoming heroic and you introduce Legendary status which is another year away for me.

By the time I'm legendary will there be "Immortal" status to make us all wait another year?

LOL  Grin

What?

Man, I love it...immortal is the next level but make it impossible to get, like activity 10,000 and above.  lol.

So far they've been going up by factors of 2.  I think that legendary is basically 960 activity +/- some amount and then chosen randomly.   Still the center is 960 which is 2x 480 (hero) which is 2x 240 (senior) and so on.

Warning, I was on lunamine until this morning when I finally removed the sig from their sig campaign a couple days after the period ended.  They have not paid and claimed they are being hacked and blackmailed right now.  I'm owed .048 BTC and there are tens of others owed but lunamine is nowhere to be seen.

Uh-oh!

You know, this brings up a good point which is that it could be very valuable for signature advertizers to demand escrow even from someone with a trusted account who has paid in the past.  In this case, if lunamine is really hacked (I have no way to know if it's true or not) then they might not be able to get money to pay their contractees.  However, if they had paid to an escrow at the beginning of the term, the contractees would be satisified no matter what happens to lunamine.

I tend to think that "ledendary" is not too far above "hero" but I also think that "elite" is a pretty good one.  Are there going to be further benefits for the new rank?   If, for example, these guys have even larger sig-spaces then they'll probably be able to earn more on sig-ad campaigns.  Would that be the case?  What other benefits would be offered?

I like "ledengary" Wink

Ledengary Mmeber
people will be making new accounts just to avoid that rank Wink

Geez, I guess you never make a typo.  Good luck asshole, the karma police are watching you now.

Sorry for making fun of it. It cracks me up that the new rank actually is "Legendary". I just though it would be funny if the new rank would be something awful. Your typo was the inspiration to that. If you think thats offending, oh well, I guess Ill argue with the karma police then Wink

No problem.  I think I was extra snippy yesterday.

I like it, its legen... wait for it. Yeah we will be seeing lots of those now Wink

Anyway, I dont think yellow on... uh looks greyish (the background) is a good idea. I can hardly see the yellow part of the coin.

Same for me, the yellow part barely shows up.

damn i just got my 0.01  Shocked and now if i lose it i will scream Cheesy

How do you get the .01 BTC?  I've been looking but I can't find any sort of "guide" to PD3 - how to get a higher level, bonuses, etc.  Maybe it's just on the site but I haven't been able to access it?

The .01 was a giveaway that has ended already, as for levels and bonuses: Your levels are based on how much BTC you have wagered in total. With max level being at 40. With each level you increase in, so does your faucet amount, with max level 40 receiving a .00005 faucet. To increase faucet even further than max level .00005, complete all the chat achievements to have a faucet of .0001

Thanks Anony.  So the chat achievements are kind of secondary to how much you've wagered?  As in, you'll get more faucet mostly from betting more, as opposd to checking in every day or whatever the chat stuff is?

I think they should take away the requriment that you have to be broke to use the faucet.  It's a weird incentive which ends making you want to withdraw your winnings so that you have 0 balance and can use the faucet again.  Since the faucet gives so little, why not just let accounts over a certain level use it every X amount of time.

Sounds like a really generous giveaway.  Must've been some years ago when btc was at a different price level.

I have a cloudflare error Shocked oh noooez

I'm getting that one too now.  I think it's better than what I was getting yesterday which was just that the page didn't load.  Now at least we get some feedback that it's a 522 from primedice.com.
3332  Other / Off-topic / Re: I just donated to Wikipedia. Using Bitcoin. on: August 11, 2014, 05:57:10 PM
Wow 140k in a week that's amazing, donating for a good cause never goes to waste.

We haven't seen any evidence that it was actually that much.  The OP suggested it but then Wales' twitter said 11K.  Still not bad, but off by around an order of magnitude.
3333  Other / Meta / Re: Congratulations BadBear on: August 11, 2014, 05:53:58 PM
Does that mean we can now spam the crap out of your inbox as well with requests to recover/unban accounts and stuff?

I think they probably already do that, eh?
3334  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: August 11, 2014, 05:07:35 AM
Theymos are legendaries gonna have...Bigger signatures?

I sure hope not.  If anything, I'd rather everyone else got smaller signatures.

Yours definitely seems like a primedice ripoff.  If you wanted people to have smaller sigs, how come you don't put a small one out yourself?

I had a small signature out for many years.  I recently made this one at the request of a fan who wanted a signature that was more similar to the many ad campaigns out there.  I actually think the large signatures are ugly and take away from the forum's paid advertising slots, but they are very popular here and an opportunity that I have been encouraged to take advantage of despite my personal thoughts on the subject.  Thanks for asking.

A fair and reasonable defense.  Thanks for replying Smiley

It's working again Cheesy. Hopefully it'll stay up this time. I bet the servers are having a hard time handling all the traffic.

hey you're right, i'm back in.  Cool!
3336  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 11, 2014, 04:52:41 AM
Changed my signature. Are we allowed to put our referral links in? I don't see why not.

Some guy above says no.  I also don't know why not.  Apparantly the discussion is "some pages back" in this thread.  Good luck finding it.  I think my computer would catch on fire if I tried to click the "all" button on this thread and do "find on page".

3338  Other / Meta / Re: New legendary rank? on: August 11, 2014, 04:46:49 AM
So many legends on this thread. You guys are gonna make a killing off of sig campaigns (well, maybe only a bit more than heroes). You must feel so powerful now, you have half a yellow coin!

Not so sure about that.  If there's no benefit to being legendary other than a half yellow coin (which kinda looks like a missing half in my browser for some reason) then I doubt advertizers are going to pay more.
3339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your first face-to-face transaction that you spent your bitcoins on? on: August 11, 2014, 04:42:15 AM
I prefer FIAT for F2F Tx. Bitcoin is online money and an investment asset for me. I prefer to spend my FIAT and HODL Bitcoin Wink

The process is to spend the bitcoin then immediately replenish it into your holdings.

This way you support the economy / currency and improve your own chances of your holdings being worth more one day.

Terrible idea to just hold and only spend fiat IMO.

-B-

Agree, in general I'm trying to hold my btc for the change that there's a future value increase.  However, actually spending them on the street means that businesses that adopt them, set up to use them are validated in that decision which in turn increases the value of my holdings.

Second of all, it's was just plain fun to go out and do it.  I'm planning on doing it again, tbh.

Look like "legendary member" was just implemented.

Thanks god they didn't use my earlier suggestion of "ledengary"! Smiley
