3321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 05, 2019, 03:39:56 PM
that would make his career look bad because too often he is a player who fills the bench but if he has to choose a club he should choose the top 5 league club instead of choosing the china league.

Unfortunately Bale hopes for the Chinese league are gone. because China league transfer market has closed. That means Bale at the transfer this time there is no hope of playing there. And Real Madrid still has other options for this player, I'm sure of that.
hmmm, why did he go to china yesterday? is it just for sensation, this is great for raising the ratings of the football news media. good news if Bale doesn't go to the Chinese league.
Previously, Bale was rumored to be in the Chinese league before the transfer season closed. But because of the negotiations or the process is fairly slow. That is why Bale has no more time to go there this time of the transfer season. I'm not sure this is just a mere sensation.

Maybe bale cannot decide what to do and what is the best for his future.
Surely seems like he wants to play in the European football but the money that Chinese offer are considerable as well.

The fate of Bale which has not been clear about the closure of the transfer season. It really hurts bale, whether to survive or move. If you move, it's certainly not easy to find a European club who wants to ask for her hand. If it survives, surely it will often be backed up.
There is no doubt about playing in the Chinese league. They will certainly offer big money. But we already know that in the Chinese league, the transfer season is closed. So inevitably Bale has to move clubs in Europe.

If he decides to move in a club around Europe, he will find one.
The problem is the money that they offer, and the money that Gareth Bale asks for, can be only found in the Chinese League which is probably not an option for him at this stage of his career.

For the first time I feel sorry for Verstappen, I am not his fan but today he was driving great and it was Red Bull team fault for his loss.Hamilton drove great too and it was the risky move from Mercedes with that pit stop which I thought race over now but in fact it turned out to be a winning move of the race.At least Max got a point for the fastest lap.

This is race and today's formula is more on tactic then driving. Mercedes made good call and Red Bull bad one, next time can be opposite. With well into second part and with this break until end of this month, dont have doubt that only real treat to Lewis is Max, Ferrari drivers are good but car evidently is not so good.

In the end last few races are into Max and Lewis, so after the break we will see who will be good in the end, next race is my favorite track Spa and I expect to see good race and surprise could be win from one of the Ferrari drivers.

The problem with the Ferrari car is they focused more on the engine to make it one of the strongest if not the strongest in the straight parts of the circuit but sacrificing aerodynamics and we have all seen the results. They should be able to win their home race after Belgium in Monza as Monza is a straight circuit.

It is fun how both Ferraris had engine problems in the previous race in Hockenheim, even the fact that the team struggles to excel it.
I am sad to saay that they won't have any chance winning in Monza. Max and both Mercedes cars are more competitive in straight tracks.
3323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 05, 2019, 03:33:48 PM
I was at the game yesterday, I saw enough to see that we (Liverpool) are at least equal in quality to Man City. We hit the post three times & had a Salah header cleared off the line. Man City were hanging on at the end, no other team in the league pushes Man City to defend with the whole team on the edge of their box.

It’s going to be a fun season. Man City and Liverpool are so much better than every other team in the PL, maybe even Europe.

Let’s see what happens, it’s going to be a wild ride.

That's true, Liverpool played a brilliant game in the match. Certainly both clubs are strong and wild candidates for the PL next season. That means, other clubs must really compete if they want to become champions in the EPL.

Indeed, both teams are of the same quality.
But, Manchester City has better players sitting on the bench and as the championship goes to its end, they will need fresh legs to play in some games. Liverpool is going to lose the title the same way they did last year.
3324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 05, 2019, 03:30:32 PM
Always waiting for news related to dybala transfers. And in the end Paulo Dybala refused to join Manchester United. According to Sky Sports Italia, Dybala will stay at Juventus and will train again. That means, there is no hope for Manchester United to get Dybala.
For now certainly Manchester United will not hope anymore, because Dybala has refused to join. So the rumor that Dybala will leave Juventus is a rumor that is not happening right now. Karen Dybala has been training again at Juventus.

My question is  if he stays, will he be able to be a first team player?
It feels like his is not considered for the first line-up to my eyes. If I were dybala, I would accept Man Utd's offer and be transferred in a team that would have me in their first team plans.

• Junior Firpo (Real Betis) to Barcelona FC done deal: https://twitter.com/FCBarcelona_es/status/1157970540939886593 He's literally the perfect replacement for Jordi Alba. Even if he flops, 18M is nothing considering the state of the market.
I'm little surprised that Barca bought Firpo after his old tweets where he insulted Messi were revealed. But yeah, it's good transfer considering it's price

Barcelona needed to sign players in the defensive line and Firpo is a good choice.
I don't think that some tweets about a player may stop a transfer. After all, they are going to solve their differences as they will spend more time together in the same team.

70 minutes played and Manchester City leads the game with one goal ahead. I hope that Liverpool will strike a goal and see the trophy be won on the penalty shootout.

Everton has got a Moise Kean from Juventus and now rumors are circulating that Everton is trying to bring Rakitic from Barcelona, Everton will be a strong contender for the top team EPL.

Rakitic will be a great addition to the team.
I like that Everton tries to make such signings that will make them a challenger of the league title. I hope that the big clubs would do like that, but it seems like they gave up on further transfers.
3328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 04, 2019, 03:25:50 PM
Guys, do you think Neymar will move back to Barcelona? I think this transfer is like a joke in football world

It will be very dumb for Neymar to do so.
Barcelona will be benefited from this transfer only if they buy him 20% lower than they sold him.
But I don't think that this transfer will become true. It's only rumors about that.
3329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 04, 2019, 03:24:06 PM
So as predicted Hamilton won this race too and now he can say, he almost won the title.

The race was as predicted boring for the 90% of the time, I remember only a few really overtakes, the others were for different conditions of the tires.

The strategy of Hamilton won with fresh tires and the end.

Bottas is a really bad driver, he is good for Mercedes only cause he stays on his spot behind Hamilton.

Ferrari was not present on this race, this is probably the hardest race for them, next 2 races they will be the favorite on SPA and Monza.
Let's see finally if LKecrec can win a race on his 1st year.

What will happen next year?
Vettel will stay @Ferrari?
Hamilton will stay at @mercedes?

It was not boring at all.
The strategicsl move that Mercedes did made it very interesting.
Hamilton won the race totally fair and Mercedes showed that they are the best team in th th championship.

Amazing race right now in Hungaroring with Hamilton pushing a lot Verstappen for a battle for the 1st position.
After pushing hard, Hamilton got out of track and he was left behind. I hope he will be able to reach Max again and see them fighting for the 1st place.
3331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: August 03, 2019, 04:25:55 PM
Video games are loaded with aspects of gambling and people of all groups and ages play these games in modern times.  Many games have things like loot boxes that you pay for to random prizes, Runescape has the duel arena where you can gamble gold against one another, and there are many more examples.

People may start off with video games and then eventually move on to higher sums gambling in real casinos.  What are your thoughts on this matter and should anything be done?

Video game gambling is the most addicted gambling that can ever be.
Having said that, you become addicted to that and it is the easiest way to lose your money on that. Casinos know very well that they are addicted and this is the reason why they have scheduled them to happen every 5 minutes or less.
3332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 03, 2019, 04:22:54 PM

fight for the trophy as it is the Champions league trophy.

I want to correct a little bit that this Community Shield League is a league where EPL champions meet with FA champions and also this match opens the new EPL season. So this has nothing to do with the Champions League Trophy. cmiiw

Thank you for the tip but I know what Community Shield is.
Maybe you didn't read my post carefully.
I said that both teams will struggle to win the trophy as they would do IF this game was about Champions League title.
3333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you be mad if satoshi sold all coins they own right now? on: August 03, 2019, 04:20:16 PM
I hope they do.  Cool

I wouldn't be. The price would have face a considerable decrease in short term, but in long term that means that there would be more circulating supply and apart from that, the amounts between the holders would be more decentralized and not centralized to one person.
3334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine that you're new to crypto now on: August 03, 2019, 04:17:27 PM
Imagine that you are a new player in the crypto world and have no idea about this topic.
What are you doing now? Read the book? You invest your savings in bitcoin, maybe you look at other coins (alts) or maybe you see that the price is falling and you're waiting to buy even lower. If so, do you know when to buy? What's your plan for this moment? Smiley

Many of those options are puzzling me even now that I am not new to the market.
I think that I would still try to find a great altcoin and invest some money on it. I know that you can hardly find a good alt to invest but I think that if you are lucky enough you can make good profits.
3335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tone Vays has won me over: There is Bitcoin...and shitcoins. on: August 03, 2019, 04:15:00 PM
Perhaps it’s the absolute slaughter of altcoins. But I feel like we were all blinded in 2017. I have 20,000 Cardano, and all I see it do is lose Satoshi value. I feel like I’ve had enough!!

I mean seriously. What is Cardano? It does nothing. Nobody uses it. It’s one of about a dozen protocols that will probably never be used and never be wanted.

I’m 85% bitcoin. I’m about to make that 100%. Everyone loves Cardano...really? Why! It’s just another shitcoin. They are all shitcoins!!

Each and every altcoin has a different usage behind it.
Cardano is used equally as Bitcoin is used now. The difference is that more people hodl Bitcoin instead of Cardano.
If you don't like it sell it. But you probably bought this alt due to the hype and you thought that you are going to be millionaire. It seems you know nothing about Cardano's vision.

PS. I am not a Cardano hodler...
3336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news! Bitcoin Price Breaks $10K Barrier on: August 03, 2019, 04:12:07 PM
Wow, popular cryptocurrency bitcoin price breaks $10k barrier after having a fourth bullish day in a row.

Will bitcoin price increase in the upcoming days?

We struggle a lot even with those bitcoin price increases.
The market seems unstable as the bitcoin value goes up by altcoins do not move to the same direction. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that we are going to go down again as alts don't show they are alive.
3337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Find The True Value Of Bitcoin on: August 03, 2019, 04:07:55 PM
I don't think that there any clear indication of defining the True value of Bitcoin.
All those metrics that investors have created and try to predict their true value cannot be valid. There are so many data in the industry that they cannot be taken into consideration because of their volume. Thus, always something would be missing from those calculations.
3338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Love Bitcoin symbol on: August 03, 2019, 04:05:17 PM
Pretty random one here, but I wanted to know for a few reasons if anyone knows the history of this symbol. Was this a business at one point, or just an old school symbol? I’ve seen this symbol in a yBitcoin magazine with nothing other than businesses using paid advertising space, which lead me to believe it may have been used by a business at some point.

Anyone familiar with its genesis?

(Image sourced google images)

It doesn't look for a symbol that it was ever used from any business. To my eyes, it seems a little bit unprofessional for such a use.
Maybe it was just created from fans and community members in general in order to promote their love for bitcoin.
3339  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the bitcoin price prediction for 2020? on: August 03, 2019, 03:13:52 PM
Any bitcoin price prediction for 2020

any experts price predictions??

I am not an expert, but I let me make my prediction...
I think that we are going to close this season in a price around 16k. It will be very difficult to reach a new all time high. We need to endure a lot of times to reach prices around 15k, let the impatient investors to exit the market and then be ready for the bull market during 2020 that would provide us the new ATH.
3340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: August 03, 2019, 02:58:40 PM
How do those "less-than-$10,000-Bitcoin-bought-at-the-dip" look to you now?

I believe the next crash the community would start worrying about is the crash to the "$20,000 lows", after 2020. Cool

Buy the?

Every new low is a new dip.
And as the time goes by, the price will keep increasing and highs will become lows, if you see my point. In some years maybe 20k will be a very affordable low for the community.
