Sergio Ramos awoke from his sleep, and I saw that he is now in the squad for the match against Manchester city, but it's still not confirmed whether he will be on the bench or in the starting line-up?
Of course we would like to see him perform again with his new club.

It is a great news for Ramos and PSG's fans. After a long time we will see Ramos on the field. Hopefully Ramos will not disappoint fans like us. He will play well. However, since he has been injured for so long. He may not be given the opportunity to play the full 90 minutes. Everything will depend on the decision of the coach.
3322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 23, 2021, 02:57:14 PM
I think India will have to work hard here to win against New Zealand in test matches, because you know New Zealand has always been better in the test format more than the other two formats of cricket. So I think India has to be careful and not get very overconfident. But depending on the situation. Actually, I think India will win.
New Zealand are the WTC champions, but historically they have performed poorly in sub-continental conditions. First of all, they are very heavily dependent on pace bowlers. Now you can say that pacers like Lockie Ferguson and Kyle Jamieson depends more on raw pace rather than swing or seam, and therefore they shouldn't face much issues in adjusting to the Indian conditions. But the main issue is with the spinners. None of their spinners - including Mitchell Santner, Ajaz Patel and Ish Sodhi has the ability to destroy opposition.
2 test match series could be tricky, there is a always possibility of series ending with 1-1 (Kiwis deserve at least 3 test match series). Hope India play to their strength which is spin, Ish Sodhi is not in the test squad but i would be careful writing Santner and Ajaz off completely. Indian batsmen used to be good players of spin but current squad is not that good against the spin.

Yes, I think that Indian batsmen will be able to play the New Zealand spinners well enough. Actually, they don't really spin the ball too much. and you know they heavily rely on line and length and bowling stumps to stumps. On the other hand, India has some world-class batsmen. I think if India can just play off the starting overs of the day and stay on the pitch they will be able to score really easily.

Good news for Afghanistan as ICC Governing body 'will continue to support' Afghanistan as a member . During T20  WC it was very much on the cards that ICC will cancel Afghanistan membership due to new regime. ICC will monitor situation closely in Afghanistan specially in relation to woman cricket. Let's hope new regime will cooperate with icc to ensure its membership.
This is very good decision from ICC because currently they need some good gesture for spreading this cricket around the globe if they ban Afghanistan then it's surely hurting this game very badly few very talented players from this country are doing good and can play good role for more adoption in this war hit country.
Currently, we are already losing some good support in West Indies and have not good enough in some more countries which is not good, but this is perfect decision from the governing body.

Yes, I do think that this is a good decision by ICC and maybe banning the agonist and cricket board could have resulted in Afghanistan not playing cricket for a long time. I am happy that world-class players in Afghanistan will still get paid and still be able to play cricket.

Meanwhile there is T10 league going on in Dubai, seems like no one here is interested in that series. I just wanna ask one thing, I was listening on local radio and there it was said its second biggest league in terms of investment after IPL. Is that true?
Which is second biggest leagues in terms of money after IPL?

Another joke it seems. How can a recently started T10 event be so popular that it is bigger than the big bash? Propaganda I think by the radio channel or they have been paid to make this event successful. That is completely BS if they are saying that it is the second biggest league.

Yes, it is Big Bash League. I think this is just a paid promotion, nothing else. I don't think that there is any need to make a huge deal out of it because the more we talk about it the more attention we give this news. Maybe one day that T20 will be less popular than T-10 but the time has not come yet.
3325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 22, 2021, 03:14:14 PM
Well, there is one thing, League football is very much different from international football and we can see that by watching the career of Robert Lewandowski and Luis Suarez. Robert Lewandowski has really great career in League football. He is one of the best goal scorers probably this era has ever seen. But his international career tells us another story as he has very little success in his international career. On the other hand, Luis Suarez has a great international career. I am not saying that Suarez cannot play in club football but what I am saying is Luis Suarez is good at both club football and international football. But in the case of Robert Lewandowski and even Lionel Messi, their international career is not like their club career. So there will always be a gap between club football and international football. So it is hard to judge teams because their players were in form in League football.

A strange statement - Lewandowski plays for the national team super successfully, if you don’t believe it, just check the statistics. He played 128 games and scored 74 goals. This is the 14th figure in the entire history of football. And his average scoring is 0.57 goals per game - higher than Messi's (0.51), who plays for a much stronger team than Lewandowski.

I was actually comparing his international plays with Luis Suarez. But when I am comparing his international stats with other players' international stats I can see that Lewandowski has a really good international career. It's just that I felt like other great players had much more impact on their international team than Robert Lewandowski.
3326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest issue with Bitcoin wallets? on: November 19, 2021, 08:59:57 PM
What do you mean by scammer's wallet?
To be safe from scammer websites, of course, you must know the original website of the wallet you are using. Don't get caught up with phishing websites.
Reading news about scam wallet websites will not get you caught and fall into the trap. it is information to let you know that the wallets of scammers are numerous and dangerous. Do not click on websites carelessly, do not enter or give private keys to people or websites that are not convincing. The private key is the primary key and you must protect it.

Before installing an open-source wallet, always you should compare the checksum of the downloaded file. If the file has been corrupted while downloading or modified by a third party, it can be understood by comparing the checksum of that file. and before downloading any file we should check the URL carefully if downloaded directly from the original website, it is possible to be safe from such fake wallets.
3327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan believes Bitcoin is Overpriced on: November 19, 2021, 08:46:30 PM

It's true that quite a lot of people were initially negative about Bitcoin, then changed their minds after seeing the very rapid development of Bitcoin.
So don't be surprised if JP Morgan can go from being a Bitcoin hater to a Bitcoin supporter, because JP Morgan probably now realizes Bitcoin is
too strong to be dropped, so if it can't beat Bitcoin, why not try to join, that's what JP Morgan is doing right now. The conclusion is that as long
as we are not affected by the circulating FUD and have confidence in the future of Bitcoin, it means we are on the right path. Since it's impossible
to get everyone in the world to like Bitcoin, there will always be Bitcoin haters, so don't worry if Bitcoin haters try to stop Bitcoin, because
Bitcoin is unstoppable. Bitcoin price will continue to rise creating another new ATH.

That would never happen, JP Morgan would never support a decentralized system, lol. I believe JP Morgan himself has benefited by investing in Bitcoin and that is why he tries to keep up to date on Bitcoin. I think, the issue of official Bitcoin adoption by ministers from around the world may be bothering him, so he may be worried about the existence of his banking business. When the price of Bitcoin went up to $19K in 2017, some people said that it has become overpriced. By creating these FUDs, it is no longer possible to cover up the truth.
3328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 41% of people globally say they trust Bitcoin over local currencies on: November 19, 2021, 08:32:46 PM
Regardless of the source of the numbers mentioned here in the picture, I'm not sure about these numbers because these numbers seem way higher than reality to me, still, there are many people who don't even know about bitcoin even in America if the situation is like that in a country like America then there is even worst situation in the other countries and other are still many people they don't know bitcoin or they partly know about bitcoin as a currency, then how can we ask them if they really trust something they don't even understand completely.

I could not agree with this opinion. More than 70% of Americans use Bitcoin directly and the rest are directly or indirectly involved in Bitcoin shares. Most American Celebs has commented positively on Bitcoin and Bitcoin is the most talked about in American Congress. If you pay a little attention, you may find that the US-based exchanges are the most used exchanges. The US-based exchanges like Bittrex, Coinbase, and Bitfinex are ahead of each other in terms of volume. I think there are very few Americans who do not yet know about Bitcoin, and it is very popular among the younger generation now.
3329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Recent Drop Below $60K Is Not Worrisome, Analyst Says on: November 19, 2021, 08:12:49 PM
Any decrease will not be a problem if the targeted investment is a long-term investment.
The decline in prices is a good opportunity to add more assets. good capital management is needed to be able to buy at lower prices.
The strategy must really be carried out and the most important thing is a strong metal.

Yes, Long term investment is always profitable, this little correction will give the market more strength to move forward. It is surely a buying opportunity for newcomers. I don't think I will ever get the chance to buy Bitcoin anytime below $50K, because maybe by the end of this year it will cross $90K and once it crosses $90K the chances of its price falling will be greatly reduced, so now is the right time to buy Bitcoin for long term investment.
3330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 19, 2021, 08:04:33 PM

I agree. Right now the table is still very close and chances are equal for pretty much all the teams in the upper half of the table, but I don't expect Schalke to become stable enough that they can really compete for rank 1 or 2. Maybe there is a good chance they will be fighting for rank 3, but even that is going to become tough.
Schalke's last two games have had bad results. lost 1-0 to Heidenheim and lost 2-4 Darmstadt. while the top 10 of the division 2 Bundesliga standings are still very competitive. I'm sure there will still be a lot of movement and there will even be a possibility of a shift from the mid-table teams to get into the top 5.

I think that Schalke had bad luck, the truth was that they had a very good start, but from one moment to another against Heidenheim it seemed unfair that they lost, but what is fair in football? If here who wins is the one who scores the goals, but when he played with Darmstadt I feel that they had many fissures, especially in defense, they do not understand each other, the midfield was unguarded, any long pass came quickly to the attackers, the lack of control or not I know if it would be the desire to win so as not to drop the division betrayed them.

I think the overall problem that they faced was a lack of coordination. In the forward or defense or midfield, you name it. Because if there were any coordinated teams or even they were in a little bit of coordinated they would have had better results there. Maybe the training session is getting too much intense and they need to relax a bit with each other and get to know each other better.
3331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if governments make Bitcoin centralized? on: November 19, 2021, 08:02:55 PM
Have you ever thought about Bitcoin becoming centralized someday?

bitcoin is already centralized

1 - many rich people hold many bitcoins

2 - exchanges ask for KYC and real data when people create accounts

3 - for people to buy bitcoin they use bank accounts

4 - most people (I'm one of them) withdraw bitcoin to bank account

5 - Most people are always happy with things like Bitcoin ETF precisely because they want big investors and regulatory markets to come in and start using or trading bitcoin

about mining? Oh electricity is from the government so where is the decentralization?

However, it must be decentralized, as long as you use an exchange or use some centralized medium, your funds are completely decentralized in the Bitcoin blockchain. No one has the power or ability to seize or freeze your wallet's funds unless you disclose your private key. "Decentralized" and "Anonymity" are different things, Yes nowadays it is less anonymous but still fully decentralized.
3332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 19, 2021, 07:34:39 PM
That would be normal if they are playing against Bayern Munich, and if you look at the odds, it is surely a one-sided one and many are betting with Bayern more than Augsburg because they surely know what may happen with the match, and I may say Bayern could score 5 to 8 goals against Augsburg, and it is possible for them to full this.
This is a match between the top of the table and the team in the red zone standings. And of course, the thought of winning for Munich lies in all the choices of those who will place the bet.
there is even a possibility, a win by many goals could happen in this match. but it all depends on how serious Munich is in this fight. if Munich underestimates him, it could be difficult for Munich.

I don't think Munich will underestimate the team just because they are not a strong one. I have seen Munich play their main lineup against far weaker teams. And I think they will do the same here too. For most people, I think it is a matter of the number of goals that Munich is going to win by.
3333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 19, 2021, 06:40:00 PM
Lazio are performing quite impressive, and they need more points in order to slide into the top 4. Also, is their home match, and they are at advantage. With this, Lazio have high possibilities of winning the game, Although, it won't seems easy. As Juventus might not be at a nice place on the standings, but they can't be considered as a weak team. I think Juventus will fight for at least a draw, which will make the match tough for Lazio to win. While failure to win might risk Lazio's current position.
However, Juventus haven't lost in their last 3 matches against Lazio, and their last match ended in victory to Juventus with a 3-1 score.
Juventus will have a tough match against Lazio in week 13 of Serie A, the position in the current standings Lazio is above compared to the position of Juventus who is ranked 8th while Lazio is ranked 5th but I still predict Juventus can win three full points from Lazio. The positive trend of Juventus in the champions league and Serie A lately has become a momentum for Juventus to be in the top position.

Yes, I don't think Juventus should lose this match against Lazio. Even though they are below in the points table. But as you said I think the momentum is with Juventus right now and they should carry the momentum in the league games. Also, I was actually surprised to see Juventus so low in the points table.
3334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: November 19, 2021, 04:49:51 PM

I think I got your point.
When managing an average club, more of your job is coaching the players to get result.
Unlike when you are managing a big team;
You will manage the individual players;
You will manage the whole team;
You will manage the fans expectations;
You will also manage the fierced conditions of the Board.
Finally, the expectations will be high.

Yes, that is what I am trying to say. And also if you are managing a big team you have to listen to the star players of the team. As their actions can be more impactful on the media and to people. Just like the Cristiano Ronaldo situation in Manchester united. And as he has better players, if they don't perform, it's on the manager. So a manager can be under some pressure while managing a big team.
3335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 19, 2021, 04:04:24 PM
Anyone watching the T20 match between Bangladesh and Pakistan ?  Bangladesh have made only 128 runs but still they are in a winning position as Pakistan have lost four wickets at 24 runs only. What a turn around performance by Bangladesh team who were not able to perform well in the T20 world cup.

Yes, i am watching this match and Pakistan have won the match in the final over. I am not at all impressed by their batting performance. They should have won this match in a much easier way but poor display of batting from the top order took the match in the last over. They need to be careful in future matches otherwise they could lose one or two matches in the series.

And what about the Malik run out? One thing that Batman does nowadays is 2 point out in which direction they were trying to play the ball and that is one thing even I think is really stupid. Especially when you are out of your crease. But I think overall both teams batting performance was really poor.
3336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: November 18, 2021, 06:20:27 PM

Moyes performance amuses me. Yes, before he came to Manchester United, he was a good coach. But in Old Trafford, the narrative wasn't smooth for him or was he not given enough time to prove himself?
Could it be that if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is given an average club now he could do well?
I think there is a particular tension that comes with big teams.

Westham don't just need only one good player, they need more to strengthen their bench. It will not be a wrong investment now that the team is promising.

While managing big teams the manager has to look after a lot of things. And if you have some certain good players you need to make plays around them. But with small teams, I don't think that is the idea as they don't have too many great players so the managers just run a play and the players do their best to execute it. So the same thing not working for the big teams is kind of justifiable.
3337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 18, 2021, 06:15:53 PM
Quote
when compared with the CL everything changes, it is a clash of styles of play, obviously it is measured which is the strongest and the most effective, of course I remember the Milan of Paolo Maldini or the one with Kaká, who had a level totally adapted to the league already the CL.
The time with Kaka and Paolo Maldini, AC Milan had very experienced players and they are one of best players in their positions, from defense to attacking. It is like one of dream teams in Europe with Maldini, Costarcuta, Nesta, Cafu, Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrossini, Seedord, Kaka and Shevchenko.
Don't forget that they also had Stamp, Crespo, Inzaghi and few great players. Now, they are coming back and don't see their failure in this season as too bad. It's just the beginning for AC Milan to return to their giant position in Champions League.
Nowadays AC Milan's Champions League journey is not going so good as they are at the bottom of the group and they have played four matches lost three of them and drawn the last one. So they only have one point playing for matches. Things don't look good for them.
3338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: November 18, 2021, 06:11:37 PM
So far Xavi's problem is that don't have the forward qualified on the front, Luuk de jong is underperforming while lord Braithwaite and Aguero are still having problems with stamina. what he can do now is work which exists team, that makes him thinking what formation he can use.
There is not much reason to say Barcelona can win the match unless Depay, Coutinho and Dembele play well throughout the match. Depay shone with his country where he has now scored several goals during the world cup qualifiers while Dembele has not been able to fully give hope as he has only had a few minute after recovering from injury. I hope for some good news ahead of the game, but let's see what Xavi and the players can do when they meet Espanyol this week.
its safe to say Depay is currently at his peak of his career and will perform to his best of his abilities to help Barcelona to win games... on one condition which is : he must not be injured anytime soon, but i cant say the same for Coutinho and Dembele . Btw Xavi heading the time could have an effect of change of mindset for the boys and this fixture against Espanyol should bring another win for the team.

@Woodie I probably don't think that Barcelona will have too many problems beating Espanyol. And I do hope that all the players stay fit as Barcelona cannot afford to have injuries in the squad right now. Actually, they can barely effort anything right now, lol.

Thanks for letting me know thousand times that we have security issues in Pakistan.  Smiley  The next World Cup is in 2023, you think we will continue to have security issues in 2023 too and 2050 also and even in year 3050 ?
My friend, there is no more security issues here, its just monopoly of ICC / BCCI. They can only restricts that WC matches are not held in Pakistan. We will also ensure they wont win the world cup  Cheesy
@UmedIdrees I think I have said it in this forum, all Pakistan needs to do is get top teams other than India to tour, and if they’ll successfully complete few tournaments then rest teams will follow.
However from what I currently see is player’s are not comfortable to tour to Pakistan, but if they somehow get Australia’s best player’s to come then other teams will also come and play there.

@UmedIdrees, That is what I was asking. I thought the world cup is going to be hosted by both India and Pakistan in 2023. But I think this was not meant to be. We all know that BCCI has a great effect on whatever decisions ICC takes. Maybe they had something to say here too.
3340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: November 17, 2021, 07:04:01 PM
Directly to the victory I would not count on, but that they will definitely fight for the semifinals, or even the finals, I can say with confidence, they are really starting to show themselves very well on the field in the Europa League at the moment. If they do not have any misunderstandings, the road to the semifinals is open for sure, and then we will have to look at the situation
You can't put any team to semi finals directly without knowing their opponents, an unlucky draw would dramatically change the outcome of trophy. West Ham is playing pretty impressive this season both in local league and in European competition but the main question is how long will they keep this high performance and how bad do they want to achieve something big. I can see them in semis or final but don't forget that there are many other good teams in this tournament. There will be big teams coming from Champions League as well, they always be the contender.
Yes, there are many other teams who although some are not good in the local league, but they have been promising so far in this tournament. Not only that, teams like the teams from Italy and Spain they are currently looking good in the local league as well. So yes, we can't be sure that West Ham will easily reach the final match, because the road to get to the final match is still a lot of obstacles to be faced and even West Ham themselves still don't know what kind of opponent they will face because sometimes the team who performed well at the beginning, slipped in the decisive match in the knockout round later.

Well, that has happened in the past. But I think West Ham should be aware of that and continue to play their best. Till now they are looking really promising in this tournament. And as the tournament goes on I think they will face much bigger opponents than they have faced before in this tournament.
