It's a big blow for Australia as Ashes is just ahead. But what I feel is that Aussies have so much depth in there team that replacement of captain or one or two key players won't effect there performance. I do agree that Smith is strongest canadate for captaincy. It will be interesting to place bet  on new Aussies test captain.

And another thing that could happen is that this has actually happened and the girl is actually telling the truth. Does it really matter, yeah they purchased something which was costly and if the authorities does not want to check their statements on how they are able to purchase expensive items, which they can literally because they are getting a good pay scale. There is no point in having this the main headlines if they paid the tax they are asked to. The news always changes and that is the nature of news .

Cricket Australia must appoint him because is the only best choise according to me and there is no reason not to select him because that time is gone now 3 years is decent amount of time in which 1 year of ban he has faced already so that must not affect them now.

I think that ICC should make some rules about themselves first because ball tampering shouldn't have this high of a  penalty. I honestly think that the maximum penalty should be 6 months for this. And also remember that Shakib Al Hasan ban of a year?

New Zealand is very good side but still no competition against India in India because historically they never won any series and have very test matches won here. Playing at home or England is completely different but here in India they are not giving any resistance we already have England many test matches end in just two or three days so same going to happen against New Zealand. They have good bowling attack, but still batting is a matter of concern for them here in India against quality spinners.
Most chances they are going to win this series by 2 - 0 because they are in very good touch with new energy and new coach all in their favors.

I think that even though New Zealand bowlers have pace and they depend on their pace to take wickets, might be a reason why they are not really successful in subcontinental pitches because the subcontinental pitches don't have much pace in them. And you know, they don't have too much swing or seam, the batsman can just watch the ball closely and get set and pick them apart. About the spinners, I think Mitchell Santner is good but none of them has the ability to spin the ball too much.

Yes, I think that Indian batsmen will be able to play the New Zealand spinners well enough. Actually, they don't really spin the ball too much. and you know they heavily rely on line and length and bowling stumps to stumps. On the other hand, India has some world-class batsmen. I think if India can just play off the starting overs of the day and stay on the pitch they will be able to score really easily.
