3321  Economy / Reputation / Re: 3 Users Harassing the Trust System on: March 22, 2021, 04:21:59 AM
I don't want to be considered a troll and a forum contributor hater.

It's a bit late for that, seeing how that's pretty much all that you've done.

The new fact is that it is very easy to tarnish the reputation of our own account if you don't completely agree with the dog holding his master's hammer.

I... There's a lot going on in this sentence. But let's try to break it down. It seems like you are unhappy with having received a red tag from Yoshie on a different account and now you are trying to exact vengeance on him. Which isn't cool to begin with, but it's especially not cool seeing as how we tend to believe his story over anything you have to say.

Also, dogs can't hold hammers. They can't really hold anything, which is part of why thumbs are awesome.
3322  Economy / Reputation / Re: Clarification (Yoshie). on: March 21, 2021, 07:55:46 PM
I wish you a speedy recovery Yoshie, sorry to hear that happened to you.

You probably know this already but you don't owe an explanation to anybody about anything, especially people you don't know.

You do a lot of good work here and hope you can keep it up well into the future.
3323  Economy / Reputation / Riddle Solved on: March 21, 2021, 07:51:38 PM
Seems to me like somebody got a red tag from Yoshie and are piping mad about it. At least one person, maybe two (given whoever was behind the recently-banned bpip.org account is not the same person).

No matter what this is about and what turns out to be in the end, all those who left negative feedback to Fact Finder or anyone else because you think he is a troll, stupid or making up absurd stories should know that this is completely wrong use of the Trust system.

Perhaps, depending on how the feedback is worded. But I would say this account is clearly not not untrustworthy and advise nobody make deals with them, lol.

The argument could be made that this person has dishonest intentions and behavior which would likely be carried over to a trade setting, and this risk should be made public via red tag.

In any case, this is a disrespectful thread and a general abomination of decency and common sense.
3324  Economy / Reputation / Re: Prophecy - "community driven" bounty NOT PAID on: March 21, 2021, 01:24:05 AM
I tagged the bounty manager -- if he cares about his reputation here then he'll address the issue. He also runs the Prophecy ANN thread, which is still on its first page.

I also took a peek at the Telegram group. It's just the usual bland chatter about moon, mars and millions. One interesting thing I noticed was that The APOLLO guy deleted some of his posts that you screenshotted, specifically the one about the bounty hunters being paid.
3325  Other / Meta / Re: This user wants to scam, but spammed in the process. on: March 19, 2021, 11:17:21 PM
I reported a few of this users' posts and now they are banned. Kind of wonder who they are an alt of -- somebody tagged by Yoshie I would imagine.

Whoever they are, they can now be banned for ban evasion.

If the reason this account was banned was for being a dick, I would be perfectly fine with that as well.
3326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HEX is your last chance at a 1000x crypto. on: March 19, 2021, 11:14:03 PM
Dozens of kids worldwide are learning valuable life lessons about losing their parents' money to an online charlatan.

you must be confused, they are increasing their money.

Maybe if you actually watched some of Richard Hearts livestreams you would see how his main goal is to make the world a better place.

Hex was literally FREE to claim if you held bitcoin.

Just like any other market, crypto is a zero-sum game. The ultimate beneficiary of this particular game is Hart at the expense of several high school kids.

Nothing new, really. You must not have been around for the HyperPoS fad.

3328  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MYCRYPTOMIXER SCAM! 13 BTC LOST USING HIS MIXER on: March 19, 2021, 01:46:39 AM
So let OP post the original address then, the address that held the 13BTC prior to going to the dodgy looking BECH32 addresses.

There's this thing called the blockchain that is actually pretty brilliant and it may hold the answer to your questions, you might want to look into it.

Seriously though dude. What the feeble fuck are you going on about, and why?

OP doesn't owe you shit, stupid.

Fuck off.
3329  Other / Meta / Re: 🔴 Problem with an inappropriate attitude (racism) on Bitcointalk on: March 19, 2021, 01:33:24 AM
Just an attempt by OP to silence opposition.

OP has several accounts banned for plagiarism and when he's not copy/pasting Coingeek articles into the BSV thread he engages in petty personal squabbles with BSV's critics.

His temper has gotten him in trouble several times before:

Tough guy lol !

Well, my word is that I delivered 8 translations. unpaid. I just want to be paid. what do you do if you work for a guy who finally does not pay you? personally I break teeth.

He even forgot to remove this from one of his translations lol (means "translated using...")

Probably the alt account of this guy :

Kna

He got busted doing fake translations before this:

I don't understand why are you asking for 2000? Your threads are shit.

@plimo my discussions are as they are! if you are not happy, ignore me. return suck your droppings and let the adults work. I am not your friend.

You are pretty scammer - just took a look on your translation thread to polish -https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2784827.new#new
even one word is not in polish, just the topic translated by google, shame on you please.

There's no direct blockchain evidence that kna is linked to a dozen or so other accounts that all post the same copy/paste gibberish in the same threads (BSV, CloakCoin), but you can tell they are the same from their use of big, colored fonts, and of course, their combined lack of a single independent thought.
3330  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MYCRYPTOMIXER SCAM! 13 BTC LOST USING HIS MIXER on: March 19, 2021, 01:16:47 AM

Stop spamming the thread with baseless personal judgments that are wholly off-topic.

While sounding desperately mad, none of anything you have written has to do with the subject at hand.

Open your own thread about what a horrible meanie OP is and how he deserves a combination of judgment and punishment.

None of what you have to say has anything to do with how OP's coins got where they currently are, or who controls them now. Though something tells me they are currently controlled by a massive piece of shit.
3331  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MYCRYPTOMIXER SCAM! 13 BTC LOST USING HIS MIXER on: March 17, 2021, 11:12:34 PM
WHY DID YOU USE SUCH A SERVICE IF YOU ARE LEGITIMATE?

This has gotten really weird. Is it worth pointing out, again, that nobody gives a fuck why he used the service? Nor should they?

My guess is you are exasperated over waiting for an excuse to move the funds, so you are inventing this "let's hate the OP for complaining" sideshow to make it seem like you were justified for stealing his bitcoin. Is that about right or what am I missing?
3332  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MYCRYPTOMIXER SCAM! 13 BTC LOST USING HIS MIXER on: March 17, 2021, 09:35:08 PM

Just weird that you care so darn hard.
3333  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MYCRYPTOMIXER SCAM! 13 BTC LOST USING HIS MIXER on: March 17, 2021, 09:09:31 PM
Woah.. If the reasons my funds are being held is because the question of legitimacy, I am happy to provide KYC.
Everyone is going of claiming I am a criminal and my funds are of criminal origin which is just a lovely and convenient assumption.
On another note, my wallet address was never flagged, the address the 13btc were sent to was flagged by me.
If you would like to check transaction ID and see the list of my bitcoin transactions, it will become clear that my funds are not of criminal origin or gained through scamming. I purchased a majority of my coins on Coinify and the rest on OTC exchanges. Are we done attempting to distract  from the obvious issue, which is that I was scammed or are we still going to go on some utterly bogus and random tangent about my source of funds?

Don't give anybody here (or anywhere) your personal information; its totally unnecessary. By this point you might have scammers coming out of the woodwork claiming to be able to do this and that. It's all scams.

What's going on now, I believe, is that the owner of the address you sent the funds to is frustrated that it is receiving this kind of attention.

They have two choices:

- give the funds back to you, or
- move the funds and reveal information about themselves.

I wouldn't be surprised if choice #1 is right out of the question in their minds.
3334  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kucoin stole some of my funds on: March 17, 2021, 08:43:58 PM
My funds are gone. Kucoin has basically admitted they confiscated my funds. They try to refer to terms and conditions but terms and conditions only allow them to confiscate wallets that have been abandoned 3 years.
The last email reply I sent to support I requested the news and announcements on ending withdrawals. Have not heard back for 2 days now.

Oh, in that case, yeah that's a bummer and you're 99% out of luck. You would think an exchange that holds $50+ million worth of ETH and tokens in a single wallet would be more willing to help out an old customer, but it goes against prevailing industry standards of keeping all money whenever possible under the T&C.
3335  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MYCRYPTOMIXER SCAM! 13 BTC LOST USING HIS MIXER on: March 17, 2021, 08:31:45 PM
Its not abut undoing a BTC transaction moron,

Oh, calling Loyce a moron, and we're off to a fantastic start.

its about holding funds legally or illegally. If the originating wallet is linked to crime, they have every right to hold the funds under AML regulations

For all you know the funds were held by Satoshi Nakamoto.

pre-10 minute edit: What it looks like to me is that somebody wants these coins bad. But what lengths are they willing to go to steal them? Maybe they are already stolen but whoever owns the address is frustrated at the attention they are receiving.
3336  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MYCRYPTOMIXER SCAM! 13 BTC LOST USING HIS MIXER on: March 17, 2021, 08:25:13 PM
Great, another newbie with the same shitty take on OP's morals.

Please provide wallet address, if you are clean I will happily write you a letter that WILL get you your BTC back. If you are unable to post your wallet and TXID, then you are a criminal. Easy come easy go.

You didn't even bother to read the thread or you would have found this information.

OPs morals aren't what's being discussed here.

What's being discussed is what happened to OP's coins.

How exactly are you contributing anything of value to this discussion?
3337  Other / Meta / Re: How can we protect Newbies from getting scammed? on: March 16, 2021, 11:59:07 PM
part of it is because having Mods delete scams will create a fake sense of security (Mods can't stop all scams).

I've never really agreed with or understood this line of reasoning. The mods delete links containing malware, yet that doesn't give me a sense of security that all links posted on the forum are malware-free.

When accounts have been caught engaging in scams on forum (loss of money through something flag-worthy), and definitive proof is available, that account should be banned.

And if in the off chance the account was innocent and a mistake was made, guess what? It can be un-banned.

In short, other than banning actual scammers I don't see many improvements that can be made to dissuade them or people from being scammed. A reversion back to the deep red -1 for trust from the low testosterone orange it currently is would be nice.
3338  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kucoin stole some of my funds on: March 16, 2021, 10:29:55 PM
OP

Would you mind sharing your last deposit transaction? It might be possible to see if KuCoin still holds any of this token, or when they got rid of it, anyway.

I've used KuCoin pretty successfully over the last 3-4 years, never had any issues with them.

I'm surprised they're not more willing to work with you.

It shows on etherscan with the txhash 0xd16772113691bd3b14efbd8e93818fd07fcba42285151706ce55e4b94f067256

Alrighty. I'm a bit busy at the moment but sometimes Ethescan identifies wallet as "KuCoin 1" or something like that... it would be interesting to see if they hold any of the token you mentioned. I'll give it a look in a few hours, but you should take a look for yourself in the meanwhile, see if you can make sense of it.

It shows withdrawal from binance to Kucoin. It looks like the wallet is empty now.
Fun fact, Kucoin deleted the transaction id in my deposit history.
It’s a scam. I’m not a big tech guy. I started trading in 2017. I was planning on hodling gvt until it hit $50.
There is absolutely zero reason to remove funds from customer accounts. Any erc20 token uses the ETH network. To say they don’t support it is like saying they don’t support etherium.
There has to be thousands like me out there that got frustrated with trading and decided to break away from watching for a while.
Kucoin should acknowledge they’re mistake and give me back my funds. They keep stating terms and conditions but terms and conditions states 3YEARS of no transactions. It had been 6 months since delisting and NO announcements on withdrawals.

What's interesting is they still hold a few GVT tokens in this wallet, which is labeled as "KuCoin 3" by Etherscan:

https://etherscan.io/token/0x103c3a209da59d3e7c4a89307e66521e081cfdf0?a=0xa1d8d972560c2f8144af871db508f0b0b10a3fbf

They only have 235 tokens there, but its better than nothing. Can you ask them to provide some sort of proof that they warned the token would be delisted?

If they stopped responding to you altogether, I can ask them in their thread on your behalf.

That wallet holds ~$57 million in ETH and tokens and performs transactions every few seconds; no reason they can't refund your coins to you other than they are lazy.
3339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WAX - Worldwide Asset eXchange by OPSkins on: March 16, 2021, 08:17:23 PM
No problem. It's been a fun trade. I got in after a friend of mine who is in to collectibles told me about Topps releasing the Garbage Pail Kids series on WAX. It's been tremendously successful and there's been several subsequent releases (not as fast as people would like). The real magic will happen when Topps brings over MLB -- the potential to draw physical collectors to NFTs I think will be unparalleled.
