Those canons are not only used to keep the Canadians in, but also to deter Romanians from reaching Antigua's shores populated with hot, scantily dressed babes.

Hahaha.  You guys need to stop this; it's lifting me out of a severe depression and then I might go around acting all normal or something.

I have listed i was from Antigua here in my profile since day one.
Why ?
Well they won a File Sharing Copyright / Piracy lawsuit vs the USA years ago and WON !
Basically the US govt has to by law allow them to pirate their shit for at least a set amount of piracy.
And the US government never did comply with the court order either.

When they win Kim Dotcom goes to jail.
When they lose they simply ignore the ruling.

I also seen a top anti-piracy guy admit he does not follow the law when they lose a court case in the US
because he feels the law will be changed in his favor one day.

BOTH cases featured at TorrentFreak over the years.
I have been going there for like a decade and have their RSS Feed on 24/7.

So.. Antigua is a well, uhmmm a fucked up place legally.
If you went there i highly doubt it's for the beaches LOL

I must say its really sad to see a project so promising in the last few weeks enshrined in controversy few weeks after. Although not part of the campaign, but I saw the aggressiveness in participants coupled with the nice rewards attached to it but seeing all this reports coming from every angle, its really unfortunate. And I hope this project can recover which is going to be very difficult.

I think you should be grateful to those people who from their precious time use it to expose this scam, alot of people would have lost their money including me, I decided not to invest in another ICO because I rate Qtum project better, but it ended up being a scam. The team have no answer to all the obvious questions that has been raised here, they use to be very active on this forum then but when this scam thing came to light they decided to withdraw into their shell

"Seriously, did you really have to go there?"

Gleb Gamow, I invest what I want. Tell me some projects that have good potential in your mind now. Drop me a PM, I may consider  - but not such a funny one  Grin

on considering recent OP's naughty wording triggered by  FUD lovers, I am not so much interested with reputation of Chris, but what this pilot project goes.

as I stated here before, I buy in the concept of this pilot project and do not care if my ICO 1BTC become ruin. It's 1BTC that is not small money but, very fortunately, its resource come from a part of my plenty of profit which has generated from other crypto investments so far.

No harm. However, I am hoping this pilot project go great, what Chris spoke up at the beginning of this project is good...

"This project is not about the land, it's about people live on the land".

It worth to drop my 1BTC to this word. Whatever FUD lovers loves SCAMS and Masturbations.   Cool

Great! Then ignore my advice, offered only to those whose pockets aren't as deep as yours.

Like I said on page 27, I was the second to invest 0.377 btc. I really hope to get my money back.
Please, if you are not a scam project, prove it by sending my money back. Thanks...

Don't worry if you sent them to the escrow address your money is safe, escrows will give it back to you.

Are you sure the Escrow agreement, there so many ways to get around Escrow now, Ascendancy team did it. I'm still undecided about this project being a scam or not but them not showing their identity gives me a lot to ponder

Read the previous posts on this thread, then you will find out if this a scam project or not.

P.S. The #1 scam buster on bitcontalk has been here for quite sometime.

And I'm still monitoring this thread.

There's a lot of actors who've put in tremendous amount of work into this venture with individually or collectively working as a team in hopes of gaining the projected prize - $10M. Sadly, the English-speaking world could say all they want about this project but it'll all fall on deaf ears cuz it's aimed at mostly their fellow Chinamen.

Kuaidi, a taxi company only rival in size to Uber in all of China, teamed up with blockchain tech, has its CEO, Joe C Lee, enjoying a massive following on Twitter: https://twitter.com/jc2lee

It fuckin amazes me that Joe C Lee is a major backer of Qtum, yet never mentions anything about Qtum to his massive fan base on Twitter. I mean, the dude owns the second largest taxi thingy in all of China, surely some of his astute fares would love to learn his secret to success, e.g. investing in an entity were everybody watches each other's backs.

Wait one fuckin second, Eric Mu! On Dec. 9, 2016, you never heard of Yibite ...

Over the past years, the Chinese seem to have displayed great competence in hardware design and manufacturing, evidenced by the fast rise of companies such as avalon and to a greater degree, bitmain, contrasted by the fall of their overseas competitors. But the club of increasingly small number is seeing a newcomer - a previously unknown brand called Yibite.

But on July 10, 2014, you wrote this ...

https://www.forbes.com/sites/ericxlmu/2014/07/10/chinese-bitcoin-e-commerce-websites-emerge-without-fanfare/#3ce07d9e45ff

“When introducing yourself, show that you have the proper background to avoid being shunned as an outsider. Tell people you are a Yibite member, a mining equipment vendor, or a trader; if you are none of these, at least set up a shop on Boluojishi and tell people that you are a Boluojishi vendor.”

Again, thank you James Gong for starting up Yibite, and Red Li of 8btc.com for reporting on it, both dudes now a major part of Qtum.

Followers of the revered cocksuckeroverflow will soon be informed if this post is considered FUD or not, most likely via smoke signals stemming outta his ass from the burning gerbils.

But the club of increasingly small number is seeing a newcomer - a previously unknown brand called Yibite.

Last week an invitation email found its way into my email inbox. I was invited by the company to attend their new product launch event in Chengdu, Sichuan tmr. For uninitiated, the province of Sichuan has become a hotbed for bitcoin mining due to abundant hydropower; it is also the place where yours truly chose to locate his moderate SinoHash farm.

I am not sure if I will attend, as I am expecting to receive a new shipment of S9 over the next three days and want to put them online asap. Just post this here thinking that it may interest some of you.

Some key points after a brief review of the email:
The company is publicly listed (at least claim to be - I haven't looked it up), which may give it some legitimacy
The company promise to give 6-month warranty, whilst Bitmain gives you a meager 3 months.
The company claims to have power efficiency of 140W/T, which doesn't seem to be especially impressive.
The company claims that they will release 5,000 units at the launch event.

Anyway, I think this is an interesting development.

Disclaimer: I am not in anyway associated with the company (Yibite) or compensated by it to post this

Ruckily, Red Li of 8btc.com picked up the story: http://news.8btc.com/14nm-miner-by-china-neeq-listed-company-to-escalate-arms-race

I don't know who is paid or not, and actually find that irrelevant.  If there are reasonable responses for the concerns raised, all Qtum has to do is post them in the thread.

I agree that the team have been quite silent in regards to some legitimate questions, but there is also a desperate and probably paid for trolling and astroturfing campaign going on here. this thread is so trashed with some really crazy (and irrelevant) accusations.

Hopefully the team will put more effort into addressing the legitimate concerns.

Let me guess, cocksuckeroverflow, you don't know how to quit me. BTW, the last time Team Qtum addressed a legitimate concern, viz. Patrick Dai et al., they dug themselves a deeper rabbit hole, making room now so that all their friends and associates could rest comfortably numb.

Yesterday I worked with Neil to sure up some of the design of the AAL to make it more secure and resistant to attack. This concept is internally called "condensing transactions" and helps to make the consensus-critical portion of Qtum greatly more simple (which is always good from a security standpoint). Now the fun part of writing up this design, finding any edge cases, and then coding it up Smiley

Next time use "to shore up some", then Neil won't send you this as a reply:

... wat

Don't you find it strange that no one from the team is directly addressing what seems like very legitimate concerns?  Sure, there are some people just trolling in the thread, but dismissing the other questions many long-term members have raised, seems ignorant to say the least.  This is a public relations nightmare, and surprising that no one seems to realize that you should have gotten out in front of the story, rather than simply ignoring the thread.

Just a heads. http://crypto-city.com maintenance updates will be in the next 2-3 weeks. The major updates will be coming around July or so.  Cheesy

In spite of Chantha Owen Lueung spending over a hundred grand to earn a business degree, he failed in excluding the word 'up' and accompanying hyphen as in 'heads-up' in his attempt to mock me with his bullshit updates-are-coming post. Excellent work yet again, glad somebody is taking the time to do proper research.

Notice how most of the legacy crypto-based news outlets aren't investigating this, not to mention nor are the investors who poured at least a million dollars into the endeavor to date in hopes of garnering the projected $10M from lowly investors akin to how Ethereum was funded early on? Not only are they taking a page outta Ethereum's playbook, but some Ethereum dudes are onboard the Qtum train reading the playbook aloud.

Here's the funny part. This endeavor would've had a great chance in succeeding if it weren't for them placing Patrick Dai at the helm. But, to be fair, Patrick Dai is on a good track now, trying to put the past behind him.

1. Bizhongchou (bizhongchou.com)
2. Yunbi (yunbi.com)
3. Yuanbao (www.yuanbao.com)
4. ICO365 (www.ico365.com)
5. ICOAGE (icoage.com)
6. Qtum official crowdsale website (crowdsale.qtum.org) – coming soon

Genius, eh? Not only do you have the media and exchanges literally in their back pocket, but Qtum insiders handle and control the ICO - sans escrow - news outlet sites as well.

And, in case you're wondering, YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT THAT BOTH BO AND JAMES SIGNED OFF ON NOT FINDING ANY WRONGDOINGS RE PATRICK DAI ET AL.!
