3321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: November 24, 2017, 08:23:33 PM
If 100tx/s is "enough", why does the waves team spend budget on the whole waves ng thing? ;-)

Traffic jam on the blockchain highway

edit:
* situation 1h later:

Hehe, looks like someone was really testing the blockchain Smiley

After the Waves-NG launch we can handle 8.6 million transactions per day (100tx/s) and it can be increased to at least 86 million transactions per day when needed.

Should be enough Wink Worlds most adopted cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, can only handle ~650,000 tx/day.

Should be enough atm, but if the DEX start to attract a lot of new users, the nodes will have to be optimized

That is a really big push. It is understandable that there might be some sort of delays when having so much traffic. How many transactions a second would you expect when the new Dex ui will be up and running?

IDK but 100tx/s should be enough Grin
And even if it's full, it doesn't really matter to wait a few seconds before it's executed.

Actually the answer was given in the Q&A, just a posts above yours.

Quote
Q: You state you can do 100 transactions per second, can WAVES -NG be pushed to do more or is this it’s limit?
A: Yes, it can. But we need to decide together. If we are ready to spend more miner’s resources to do this. Currently 100tx/s is ok for our demands. Then we’ll work on node’s optimization and increase it when needed.

100tx/s is enough for now, intensive testing on testnet proofs it's capable to scale over 1000tx/s when needed.
Have you estimated the returns for leasing with various benchmarks up to 100tx/s yet? Would love to see some numbers of what could possibly be expected in the future.
3322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitConnect - Is there any chance for BitConnect to fail? on: November 24, 2017, 07:58:36 PM
If this thread is serious, then let me tell you that all of these newbies that are saying that bitconnect is worth it, let me tell you that they all are lying, maybe they all are alt accounts because they dont want to risk their reputation just by saying that kind of crap.

How the hell do you think that a normal company who is worth more than billions of dollars is going to be able to pay out 1,4% a day of interest to all their investors? (Plus, compound)

It is impossible, and there is no way to see it happening, banks are usually giving around 3% a month (and that is about 2 days of interest with bitconnect)

It is going to fall soon, it is just matter of time until we are able to see that happening.
Banks don't even give 2% per year. If banks gave 2% per month the stock market wouldn't exist.
3323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never buy Bitcoin cash on: November 24, 2017, 07:44:28 PM
Fine, that's your choice. But I think it is not wise when do not invest in Bitcoin cash. It is a really nice coin. it will rise soon.
It's a really nice coin if you're fine with sucking Satan off for pocket money. In all other cases BCash is just trash.

So you're admitting that this is a scam before backpedaling. Very interesting development.

And if you think that Bitcoin is a scam you don't understand what Bitcoin is about, at all.

Not coming back isn't an option, because you guys keep spamming the thread with fake information with hacked and fresh alt accounts. Wink

And 135 nodes mean fuck all as they can easily be set up for virtually free by the "dev".
I doubt that all of them are because there's a lot of dipshits that like playing around with ponzis, but most of them probably are just part of the initial group of scammers.

If investing is gambling to you you're doing it wrong. Investing has nothing to do with gambling at any point.

And how Bitcoin is different from this piece of shit? It didn't lie about what it is for starters, and didn't try to lure idiots into buying coins with fake promises and laughable buzzwords.

But since you like comparing. Would you buy a forged Thai Rolex for $60,000 USD?
3325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitConnect - Is there any chance for BitConnect to fail? on: November 24, 2017, 07:39:30 PM
Some people say BitConnect is a scam some say it is legitimate, what do you think? I've read many articles about it and I still not understand how it actually works.
There is absolutely no chance for BitConnect not to fail.

Just do the Math.

If the interest that they promise was real, there would be more money in BitConnect than in the entire rest of the world in a very short time.
Oh yeah? Bitconnect can not sustain? Are you kidding me? When will everybody stop spreading this FUD about this coin. In case you didn't know, bitconnect is into lending and stalking and it celebrated its one year in office last month. It is not easy for that to happen. Even when that glitch happened on its site, bitconnect still held it down and came back strong. Look at electroneum and how they are still struggling battling a minor glitch. Whether anyone likes it in not bitconnect will continue to forge ahead.

Yes, it can not sustain, period.

Do the Math. It won't take 10 years before BitConnect will have more liabilities than there is money in the entire world with its promised interest rate and it will come down crashing well before that.

At 40% "risk free interest per month" (lol) BitConnect would grow from its current 635m to 36b in just 12 months, to 2t only 12 months later and to 115t another 12 months later.

4 years from now BCC would be at 6,6q and thus surpass the global derivative market 6 times over, which is already orders of magnitudes larger than the global money supply M2.

If you think this is sustainable you have just proven that you have absolutely no fucking idea how finance works.
3326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: November 24, 2017, 07:32:27 PM

I think that this is already a trend - to hunt for free computing powers at homes. Or not free, to overbuy it. We will see more projects on this field in the comming months.
Doesn't really matter if they don't find unfilled niche markets. Established players will have the competitive edge due to a larger network which will allow for larger clusters of computing power at much lower latency.

Do you want me to keep bumping your scam, or do you want me to leave so you can pretend that it's genuine?

I'm not acquiring anything here by the way. And there's no need for me to make any accusations either, given the facts.

3330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: November 24, 2017, 04:40:23 PM
They are the people want to make Bitcoin network get more problems.
What is their purpose? Do they want we transfer to using Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin?
However, instead of using Bitcoin Cash for my transaction, I using other altcoins are better than Bitcoin Cash, hehe.
They want to take over control of Bitcoin. Read up on Bitmain (Jihan Wu's company) and ASIC Boost. It's all about centralizing Bitcoin so Jihan and Roger can have more control and thus make more money. That's why they are attacking Bitcoin Core and trying to take over with BCash (which they are failing to do).

Yeah i think so as well. Its all about control and for a little while, they seem to be working as btc plunged to below 6k while bch reached ath during that time. And roger ver is still releasing statements about how btc is inferior featurewise to bch. I don't think going to work anymore though because as with every challenge that btc before, it died after a few days and btc recovered to another ath
Bitcoin would've plunged after the SegWit2x fork anyways. Everybody expected it. BCash just timed their attack to coincide with the dip so they could act as if the market supported BCash instead of Bitcoin now, which was never the case.
As bitcoin price is pumping it attracts more and more believers that make it denominates other cryptocoins even bitcoincash which is a result of cloning in past forking, BCC being the next BTC is not that impossible but can't see it happen in near future maybe a couple of decades later.
BCash will never be Bitcoin, period.

dev is very active on Telegram and Slack, i changed my opinion after chatting and getting my questions answered.

I would suggest everyone the same, don't come to conclusion based on BTC activity or Thread Info, talk with dev or community on active channels.

Good luck to the project.
The fact that you post the same message from at least three different accounts just proves even further that you're a scammer.

lol, you are out of your mind, check my earlier messages on this thread where i bashed the dev.

stop calling everyone scammer
Classic bait and switch. Very easy to pull off with so many accounts.

3333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: November 24, 2017, 04:27:23 PM
It's not that i dont like Doge, but 1 usd is waaay too unrealistic Smiley

I find it useful more often than not, mostly to avoid massive BTC fees (send doge/sell them for btc) and it has been worth it.

For Doge to reach 1 usd per coin, something extraordinary has to happen. As mentioned several times, the market cap it would achieve at that price makes it very hard to believe.

Though, in crypto, you never really know... and with all the new money flooding in, the "joke" might get revitalized Smiley
Who knows, maybe in 10-20 years when Bitcoin is way over $1 million. Tongue

lol , i dont think it will happen, btc is too expansive already now
Bitcoin is dirt cheap right now, if you take all facts into account.

I highly recommend you to study the stock market, the size of the remittance market, and the global monetary supply in general.

$8000 isn't even a wet fart in the grand scheme of things.

explain ?
Bitcoin is more or less a tether to the altcoin market, it's basically the base denominator for all cryptos. Considering that the blockchain is increasingly used for investments and capital collection Bitcoin could easily become as large or even larger than the stock market, which was something around 20 trillion USD in size.
If it's used as a currency it could be anywhere from 1 to 10% or more of the ForEx market, which would also put Bitcoin at a million. If it's used as a store of value, it could become as big as or bigger than Gold, which is also several trillions in size.
A combination of these factors as well as global economic growth could easily see Bitcoin's price to be well over 1 million USD. Even a joke like Facebook that only pumps out ads is worth $600~800 billion.

But whatever price it reaches, $8000 per coin and a ~$100 billion market cap aren't even the dust left behind by peanuts.
3334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it recommendabe to invest Bitcoin Red (BTCRED)?? on: November 24, 2017, 04:22:57 PM
don't do it. There are already so many BTC forks being announced that you are getting a headache just tryingn to figure out what each of them does. You have BTC diamond, BTC gold, BTC cash everyone is trying to create something for themselves in order to make a quick profit. The reason all these BTC version are popping out is because they have an already well established user base (the BTC userbase) and they get free attention that way from people like you, who are willing to throw their money anywhere without regarding the true value of the coin. Try to find something that is more unique than just coins that are copying one another and you might make a real killing one day. Don't go with the mainstream.
They all do exactly the same. They're just pathetic little money grabs with no vision, skill or aptitude.

sooner or later the dev will dump on everyone. So even if you invest you have to get out earlier.

Look at the token...its a useless copy paste that can absolutely do nothing besides earning money for the dev.

Most of the buy orders might just be from himself pumping it up by buying his own tokens.

Sorry for everyone that invests..
It's a good lesson. The sooner they get burnt the sooner they will be forced to learn how to invest properly or get out otherwise.
3335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin DIAMOND FORK - Binance support on: November 24, 2017, 04:22:07 PM

All of these forks might as well be.

All the coins with mining come to very good places and investors do not hurt. Much better if there are japanese behind the project.
Too bad this one doesn't have anything Japanese behind it. The "dev" (= copy/paster) doesn't even speak Japanese.

日本人です Grin
やはりデッブの垢でしたか

これは正当なプロジェクトです ,

btw : あなたがサポーターでないなら、ここで何をしていますか?
I'll spare you the trouble of going through GT (since your use of pronouns and grammar makes it dead obvious), and tell you the same as I said the before. I'm exposing a scam. There's nothing 正当 (you would generally use 正しい in this context) about this project.

In case it wasn't obvious enough to anyone out there, dev responded to me on an alt account in GT Japanese.

それより btw isn't a thing in Japanese.

lol.

dont know Japanese ...

tried to say something , but an native speaker as you can see it Smiley

i hope your are wrong .....  i did invest in this ......

but in the slack , the dev is very active  , and promised us within 2 weeks that this coin listed on exchanges, first exchange is Cryptopia ( who ask 5 btc to listning )

I pity you for falling for a ponzi/scam if you really didn't know. But the fact that you keep promoting it instead of taking your loss and learning from your failure is just outright deplorable.
3337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔥Tokugawa Coin 🔥 Japanese Masternode 🔥1000% ROI🔥Buy in ICO on: November 24, 2017, 04:20:39 PM
How can you come to a conclusion that this is a scam coin?

It has 135 Masternodes running / locked in.

It will be listed on good volume exchanges pretty soon.

The unsold coins will be burnt, and of course you would be Jealous

🔥 You can buy Tokugawa coins in our automated ICO from http://tokugawacoin.com and start earning from masternode rewards instantly 🔥
Showed enough proof in this thread.

You don't even try to make up new posts any more and literally just copy paste the same post over and over.

Also, you're using hacked accounts and several low tier alts to spam the thread with fake activity.

You even tripped up and spoke "as the dev" from one of your alt accounts.

And who cares how many nodes there are? Running VMs is easy, especially if you scam people out of their money or find tools that enjoy participating in ponzis.

3340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 24, 2017, 03:50:45 PM
I never bought drugs but this can be possible because bitcoin block chain is decentralize you can send the payment to the person not knowing him but the payment can be made plus its less trackable so its in favor in the black market dealings and some related jobs
Bitcoin is more traceable than cash.
You can see the transaction of Bitcoin through blockchain, yeah it is really good for anyone know the address of others to tracking. But, do the police know the address of criminal or those who bought drugs? No, the police do not know that. All transactions are pear to pear and it is safest.
The police have found a large amount of people using Bitcoin for drug trades. Just Google "darknetmarket busts" or something like that and you will probably find a ton of information. Pears are fruits by the way.
