From this picture of course we expect the first sentence in the picture, but all have the same goal even though the concept is different.

Ech, says the guy with a tie and suit, who probably doesn't even contribute to on-chain (or 2nd Layer) Bitcoin activity, forgetting that only utility brings about what he purports he wants.

Funny to see virtue signalling corporates in this space, really.

I want to sell Bitcoin for fiat down the line (and have already), why should I be ashamed of that?

Also just saw his profile and stopped at "reverse entropy/Negative Bitcoin mining"... heh
3322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: October 03, 2022, 10:52:57 AM
Tried my best not to look at pool positions as I'm discouraged in EPL and UCL. If you think too hard about it, it makes you question your abilities heh.

Put my picks in already in case I'm out all day tomorrow, there's a danger of that.

Backing big wins for the super teams... but also a couple of upsets. I think Potter was lucky with the league, let's see if Chelsea hold their ground in UCL. Portuguese teams are really something, so I thought to back them, might still change picks tomorrow.
3323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [LAUNCHED] Bitcoincleanup.com: a website to stop Greenpeace's bitcoin FUD. on: October 03, 2022, 09:59:35 AM
Taken here from some thread about Bitcoin being 56x more efficient than banking and my immediate (perhaps existing, rather) thoughts:

1. No study has really been truly complete in calculating cost + benefit. Neither for Bitcoin nor for banking. It always tends to cherry pick, rather than set a benchmark for what cost is, and what benefit is -- not to mention Bitcoin doesn't quite add up as a rival to what modern banks do. Khazzaka's paper (referenced here by Loyce), for example, is a great start but already identifies Bitcoin as a Monetary System and Means of Payment (which are merely 2 of many more services banking provides).

Earlier mentioned that there's a greater need to involve academics, scholars, economists, educators, scientists working objectively and in neutral intent of discovery... rather than celebrities, devs, pro-Bitcoin merchs etc.

We still need more fact-finding, if we really want to combat FUD.

Got my $25 freebet on Arsenal Speed Roulette. Didn't want to forget to spend it so put it all on high, and lost heh. Still a great win as my qualifying bet was on BTTS and Kane saved me with his pen -- 1.65 not bad! Don't forget to opt in if you haven't already, next game in three days with Arsenal-Bodoe/Glimt (another BTTS looks tasty at almost 2/1).

Then Liverpool's next, and I've already put in a Liverpool outright, but BTTS also looks the way to go...

Yan is defintely the value bet here
\\
I might put a small bet on Yan just because of the value of it.

^  Yup...  With Dern an elite grappler, you could say Yan defended reaaally good.  And she had more than a couple of spots when she really got in trouble too.  All her training with Team Alpha Male with Faber and the rest of those guys are paying dividends for Yan.  So yeah, I guess she'll be going next for the title after Zhang Weili.  It's gonna be an all Chinese match up if Zhang Weili wins.

Not only did I pick Yan after reading earlier comments (which with a price boost was almost 3/1), I also paired it with Yusoff... so booked a nice win on my first and only bet in the past few months on UFC. A slight consolation considering how poorly I'm doing elsewhere...

Might get a look at Zhang odds in this case (possible all-chinese meet) but too far away for me to remember.

^ Yeah, best to get to live support or PM Tornike here, he gets things done really quick, like all good casino community managers/support admins Wink

Still works fine for me on all formats and devices I have, it has to be something to do with your whitelisting IP maybe, as that's the only thing that makes sense for me even if your country location worked before. Hard reboot of your wifi modem usually fixes that...

Meanwhile, no joy in MajSev. Two nil-nils puts everyone out of contention anyway. There's always next time...
3327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 02, 2022, 05:21:28 PM
Man, it's so ridiculous reading how many people here are even talking about Mane or defending him when that's conjecture that doesn't even exist. Give it a rest, move on from fantasy stories, seriously.

Talk instead about how BVB is fooling us all with their post-Haaland vibes. Why didn't I just trust in Freiburg?

3328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 02, 2022, 03:56:43 PM
Then I remember that I thought he will have rough start and that Kane is safer option in fantasy  Shocked

You and me both, and anyone who actually bothered to analyse. My son keeps telling me "I told you so" and he's just a guy who plays Haaland on his FIFA all the time, and follows him on social media.

3 home hattricks in a row, Citeh fans must be in dreamland. Oh, and he did 2 assists too...

All this without Maguire. United did pull 2 goals back (who else forgot Martial was a new option under new manager?) but that was really just City gifting them.

Congratulations, Manchester City, on winning the 2022/2023 Premier League season. Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham should all be ashamed for allowing Manchester City to turn the league into a farmers league. Having KDB and Haaland on the same team is a cheat code.

Agree, but why is Chelski blameless here? We all need to join the losers' circle as equals. Anyway we meet Haaland again in about 2 weeks. As you all know, I am betting a figurative house on this one, stupidly. Early odds are Liverpool 31/10.
3329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2022 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: October 02, 2022, 03:21:41 PM
We have left qualifying behind and Leclerc won the pole position nicely. As my pick was him for the pole as well I'm contented with the result. However if the weather condition was much better than this then things might have been different. Leclerc must be thankful for Verstappen about not being able to finish his last attempt due to fuel issues. Maybe it was a big disappointment for Verstappen as he is going to start in 8th position. But he still has the fastest car on the grid so he shouldn't have big difficulties in climbing and competing with Leclerc for the win.

Yeah, everyone needs a bit of luck now and then, and since I don't really have anything left to play for except yellow caps, I'd be seriously happy for Verstappen to lose his footing and nerve over the next few races to see LeClerc eat up the distance. A bit of a shame he didn't go on to win, but 2nd place still means he reduced the deficit by 10 points.

Look at Checo though! Woo!
3330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: October 02, 2022, 03:03:38 PM
Yeah I really didn't need Savic to go and score an injury time goal heh, I saw that for the first time, I finally got myself into Top 5, an exact score would have been sweeter to take, but can't say I'm not displeased for the results so far, especially getting Roma right.

This was the signal for the jinx to begin of course... as we got 1 upset today now with Monza (wow).

Crazy finish to Milan game, probably just because I had 1:0 Milan win in our pool Smiley Milan leading 1:0 and then equalizer in 92nd minute and then Milan scoring two more goals in 93rd and 97th minute. Will have to check the highlights of that extra time.

Reminds me of the Dortmund game, leading 2 goals and then let in 3 goals in injury time to lose, and then the Atletico UCL tie where they also won 2-1 with all 3 goals in 12 minutes of injury time.

Didn't even know this was a crazy game, was just happy to get the score right!

Casper, come on, don't run away with the points!
3331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 02, 2022, 01:49:38 PM
^Amazing returns on THAT freebet, Ulven! The gift that keeps on giving, huh. Let's see if I manage to turn mine into something useful, pretty good I didn't win anything earlier as it turns out, as I'd have put it on United... who are now on their way to getting whipped by Citeh.

4-0 after first half, at this point, I'd rather City go get another 4 or 5 in second half to punish United for ever thinking they were getting back on track with Ten Hag... shame on me for thinking the derby might throw up an upset *happy sad noises*
3332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: October 02, 2022, 12:59:23 PM
You got your betbuilder lost just by the 2+goal right slam? Spot on on the yellow cards too, and leading both halves, shame about the lack of goals... but better than drawing 3-3 honestly.

If it helps you feel good, I put a small bet on Osasuna Wink

I've had problems with imgur for a long time (maybe due to VPN, I don't know) so I stopped using it completely and now I use imbb mostly.

Atlético are leading 1-0 after the first half and the odds for their victory are still very attractive - 1.3. Do the bookmakers really think that reliable Simeone will allow the team to take risks and give Sevilla a chance?

Imgur's naughty towards non EU IPs, as I mentioned. It's always "Refreshing" for me to go home to my own land after some years and suddenly get blocked and slow service on almost every internet service I use. To remind me how shitty things can be for some people haha.

Anyway, Griezmann in at 61st min yesterday, the earliest he's been subbed in all season heh.
3333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe what Bitcoin has done for you on: October 02, 2022, 11:56:11 AM
I've talked about this at least once before but don't mind talking about it again because it's a major change in the way I've lived for the past 5 years or so since moving to a new country and taking up freelancing work seriously.

Short story is PayPal used to be my main means of getting paid from freelance work. Yeah it costs money, but it was instant and relatively cheaper and faster than banking, besides easier tracking of invoices etc.

But if you're not North American or European, and move around a lot, PayPal doesn't like you. Account freezes and verification became more common over the years, particularly I'd say after 2010 (?) as I remember frequently having to reverify myself, getting balances unblocked, and they'd even stay blocked for months at times. Frustrating af.

When I first tried out Bitcoin, it took a while to convince clients to pay with it but I offered discounted rates. 5%, 10%, to make it worth their while, but also later discovered more and more clients willing and eager to get things done faster with Bitcoin.

Don't remember the exact turning point but at least since 2018, Bitcoin is virtually the only way I get paid for my freelance work, and I've converted countless others along the way.

So Bitcoin's made it possible for me, a person from the Global South to say goodbye to the fked up financial system that discriminates against me, to participate as a regular person just trying to make ends meet.
3334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2022/2023 on: October 01, 2022, 07:37:38 PM
Haven't checked back this thread for a bit, good to see you're getting results and bets in. Might throw in a looksee here for the next round of games... but PNE don't seem to have progressed/digressed one bit since I last checked! 3 goals scored and 4 goals let in with 11 games, I want to say draw specialists, but Liverpool seem to be doing that even more in a league above haha.

Blades looking good huh?
3335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: October 01, 2022, 04:52:05 PM
^ Yeah I put Roma on my ticket, but it's all gone to naught anyway since Liverpool and Villareal couldn't come away with the goods. I don't think I'll be putting any more money down. Not watching but nice to see Roma getting the one goal with their one shot on goal. Who was it who doesn't like Dybala again?

3336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 01, 2022, 02:42:52 PM
Well. Fmbetbru must be licking his chops, the only one with Brighton on a win, Liverpool score again though, then SwordsRex gets his exact score, but the rest of us save a handful will be dropping points if we don't find a way past the Seagulls.

Carvalho not really impressing on only his second start. VVD also still can't seem to shrug off his malaise. Man. We had some good moments after going 2 behind and we did deserve that VAR onside.

Only consolation if this doesn't go our way on current results is I have Palace on a win, even if Auba's just equalised, I think there's a good chance. Looking up at all you boys from the bottom.
3337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Odds, units advantage | Sportsbook | +85728 units on: October 01, 2022, 02:20:34 PM
Damn, that post was so long ago I didn't even remember it at first when rereading it:) That one hurt a lot.

I don't believe United can get something from City other than score a goal or two. As I was writing in PL pool topic, I don't see how United can even hope to stop Haaland. Martinez is missing a lot in constitution while Maguire is even worse option.

Haha yeah, I find myself so busy I'm not giving my own thread enough love. United can't win, for sure, that's also what my gut and technical analysis says. I actually watched them play a lot last season, and I missed their early games but even when they were winning (like vs Liverpool), you see that they are a very, very poor team. At best, bottom team of "Big 6".

But derby is derby and they beat both Liverpool and Arsenal by getting some weird fortune.

What algorithm do you use to add bets to this thread? During the Nations League games, I always thought that such a tournament with unmotivated teams where the favorites often lose should be good for you, but I did not see the betting reports.

By the way, it seems to me that the odds of Manchester United winning are underestimated. Manchester United are showing a game similar to last season, and Manchester City have clearly become stronger with the acquisition of Haaland. But bookmakers believe that Manchester City has remained at its level and Manchester United has strengthened.

Very simple. If I think it has value. I know that's a very vague explanation, but for Nations League, I actually didn't really know what the value was, friendlies (yes, I don't care, it's a friendly) especially I see no value unless the odds are extremely high for a good team.

I made pretty good money in NL, on my first 3 bets, but they were on an acca on all favourites, and one big upset on Azerbaijan. But it was actually exact value to me (9/1) because they won 1 in last 9 games...!

I got over 9/1 for United too, I'm okay with that, made it a bit bigger with Liverpool leg... and we're already down 2 goals whoops
3338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: October 01, 2022, 02:08:08 PM
Anyone got tricked with Villareal? Haha... 0-0 man.

^GL with that BB! It looks solid, tbh. The Williams brothers stole the show, as they usually do... a bit of joy for them as they both got their 2nd caps for national team. One brother Inaki for Ghana, and the other for Spain (scored the winning goal that took them to Nations League finals). Amazing story.

Oh and yeah I use imgbb but it also screws up on the forum from time to time. Imgur is definitely not always friendly to Asian locations Wink

it is not football, it is business, after all
did not know that fact about Griezmann, but it does not sound too "sportish" to have this kind of behavior,
That is regular clause that is put into the contract of most high profile players that sort of flopped in their team. That way you get rid of the player and have a chance to get decent amount of money back and the team that is buying has a safety in case that player really isn't good anymore.

Yeah, I only heard about it while watching Champions League, the game where Griezmann scored in 12 min injury time, and then the commentator was discussing how he played 50+ mins in that game giving Simeone a headache in the next game. Then it was revealed about that time.

Right after the game also Griezmann himself said it was difficult to sit on the bench wanting to play but knowing you can only play a certain amount of time. He wasn't complaining but you could see he was very frustrated about it.

I feel it's sort of unsportsmanlike too, that business gets into the spirit of the game. Same as those teams that sub on a player for just enough minutes to make sure they get their "medal" if they win a tournament, or # of caps in contracts, etc.
3339  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 01, 2022, 12:58:19 PM
No other way than by gut feeling without any research Smiley I agree for some, Toney, Mitrović and Watkins are my choices as well. I went with Son since he opened up his account and I am thinking he will continue to score, Bowen from West ham since he is hands down most dangerous player in their team and Maddison for Leicester since it can be only him Smiley

I already know I will miss the scorer on Everton game, went with Gordon since he at least looks like he is trying.

Phew for Jesus. Already ticked me off one!

Bowen and Maddison man (Southgate is a criminal honestly for leaving him out, and I'm not just saying that because he said Trippier was better than TAA haha), those guys are really good, but I watched Hammers in past 2 games and I see Antonio as a really angry man, and I like that. He is so desperate to score if he is lined up (I hope the break made him fully fit) he is going to be a monster.

@logfiles Working fine for me. I actually probably never mentioned it before but their latest version of website has really improved my FJ experience. No more frequent log outs, I get proper notifications on alerts (promos and freebets, because FJ loves me I guess), and MajSev no more buggy for me.

3340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: October 01, 2022, 11:57:35 AM
Rofl.  It's nice to see the meme is catching on in these parts.  He's not just the goat, he's Goatifiii.  Cheesy  The Goatifi meme originated at Formula Dank at Reddt.  Those guys are so hilarious and catch anything funny at any point in the race then they go post a meme asap.  Their favorite seems to be Toto Wolff still and Lewis Hamilton.  That guy takes himself so seriously it becomes funny.  Ferrari memes were funny at first but the team has been below average in their decision making, it stops being funny and you start feeling sorry for them...  Mostly Leclerc.

Almost as funny for me as football troll accounts, but yeah, it's weird when you feel sorry for the prancing horse -- almost like I feel sorry for Man United. It's definitely more fun when a team is on the rise and just can't win, but this has become a comedy of sorts.

Even after witnessing the dominant runs from Red Bull I still see Mercedes Russell taking it and having pole position for tomorrows main race.

Call me a dreamer but I have a feeling that they want to pull out all the stops and have him as the No.1 driver for the arrows.

I'm always thinking like this, which made me suffer in my picks. Not just for F1. Unfortunately in this sport, pulling out all the stops and guts and passion aren't nearly enough. Verstappen's post practice comments about the times not being representative, they don't sound like excuses, sound actually like factual. Who knows, anyway, my picks are in: Max pole, Sainz fastest, Ham podium, Russel sandwiched...
