I have to remember to check back often as I had no idea a whole round of games was ready until I was looking at Sportsbet Specials page to take the Brett Lee cricket special, and then saw something irresistible.

Fulham when I saw it I thought had to win, so that was "easy". Bournemouth was playing away too so I thought also a possible loss. Then Nottingham needed the win badly. Very very happy day for me, glad to choose this rather than Champions League as I would never have predicted the outcome in Spain.

Couldn't agree more. Real and Chelsea are just a difference of lake and ocean. Of course, I can only watch selected replays, and sometimes this doesn't show you the full picture but put Benzema's headers next to Lukaku and you have to say, if they reflected the quality of their team, then Chelsea has no place in the semifinals.

City vs Real will be the match of the tournament but I also agree with Trofo that Bayern won't be worried in the least. 2 goals for them, they can get the job done in first half. Of course, they need to make sure they don't play the same spirits that they found yesterday.
3324  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Southampton FC Main Sponsor 🚀🚀 on: April 07, 2022, 06:47:41 AM
Form is temporary, class is permanent.
That part is always true and I will also argue that just by him being on the pitch other Liverpool attackers have much more room to play their magic. Same as it was for Messi, original Ronaldo, Ronaldo .... they even played some important games slightly injured just because opposition always double or even triple marks them and that leaves so much space to exploit for others. They were often rubbish for their own high standards in those games but their teams got the wins they needed.

And this is how I will always see the difference between true fans and "part time" spectators. I'm not in love with people like Ronaldo, or even Benzema right now, but it's amazing to see people switch off and on, hot and cold, about how they feel about the stars of their clubs. Watch Messi, Ronaldo, Salah, Benzema and you realize they have been playing a lot of their careers with injury and not fully fit.

And like you said, people forever count their goals and assists as their mark of performance so if they don't have any points there suddenly there are a bad player but watch any game now and 2/3 players swarming around them, how is that bad for the team, right? I really feel terrible reading fans who turn on their players who actually just can't meet their own impossible standards.

I remember Salah vs Manchester City, 3 or 4 players around him and he still scored. If you get the best team in the world to mark you with 3 players, you already win that side of the field. But if he didn't, he made it so open for the others. And guess what? The very next game again he did a similar wonder goal, and this time 4 or 5 players around him.

And Ronaldo, I am Barca so how can I like him but admire him for sure. Even an "old man" in EPL running on the wing can still attract 2 players to defend.

Messi, no need to say. I used to see him week in week out with 5 players following him, and at PSG they still close him down even at halfway line, so I don't care he doesn't score as much now, his value is being on the pitch.

I think this is all coming, but the winning wagers is for winning daily wager competition so you should aim for 10 first. I have only won once or twice,,, long way to go. I guess reading from your past posts you won at least 5?

So you are correct, I just checked and it's Daily Wager wins which refers to the contest of course.

Yeah I think I've won around 5. I thought I did enough yesterday to win it too, even pushed my global rank to #33 while gambling but got edged out as usual in the final minutes by some private user lol

Fallen back to #34 today Global Rank so you bet there are so many active players now!
3326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear vs Bull : The Beauty Of Cryptocurrency on: April 06, 2022, 12:49:11 PM
I think the better term is "smart investors" - those who buy in the dip, keep it in their wallet, secure and continue to accumulate throughout the bear market and then sell in the bull run to make a huge returns.

Don't know, probably, but I've always seen the term smart investors as a sort of banking marketing term for people who're too rich to be actually making any real decisions themselves, and just leaving it to someone else they've paid to make decisions for them.

If DCA is the smart investor thing to do in Bitcoin, then I guess that makes me smart? Until the time it doesn't work (hopefully never).
3327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Inverse Protocol - Highest fixed APY in the market on: April 06, 2022, 11:37:25 AM
I'm using auto compounding stake on Pancakeswap and the compounding happens practically every 3 or 4 seconds, no need to do anything. Well guess what? When it first launched the highest APY was 100%++ and now six months or so later it is almost half that.

You want fixed APY, won't that just cut into the actual market price? I prefer lowering APYs and more stable market prices tbh
But this is a common problem of many tokens and protocols. When they are new they try to attract users with xxxx% APY, then after some time it's down a lot. Also most of those APYs are caused by a massive token inflation, which means that your token are very expensive at the beginning but then dropping in value a lot.

Coming back to OP, it would be good to know these parameters of your project: token inflation, token release schedules (besides real world utility and usability of course)

Yeah I know it's a common problem, it's the whole reason why defi isn't sustainable if you're using false APYs which then actually just eat into the token price anyway.

I'm just saying for OP "highest APY" actually is a kinda bad statement to make. Token inflation, release schedules, not as important as usability of course so I agree there, but which defi coin actually has utility anyway? Smiley
3328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: April 06, 2022, 08:53:12 AM
I think Simeone is happy. They need to score, and they feel they can do it. This was probably about learning about City and knowing how to take advantage at home. City was relieved for sure, but they will wish they scored one more. Foden introduction brilliant, immediate impact.

Liverpool, what can we say, Benfica expected to concede more even, and everyone in the pool agreed on this result with Harkorede being the lucky one to sweep all points for exact.
3329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 06, 2022, 08:06:30 AM
For matches in the rest of the season, basically Barcelona on paper will get wins consistently, considering the opponents they face are not strong teams. Barcelona will only play a team that can be said to be strong only at the end of the season and they have to play against Villarreal, in contrast to competitors such as Real Madrid who are still playing against Sevilla and Atletico. The three rival teams will still face each other in the remainder of the season which makes the acquisition of 3 points will certainly be disrupted, with this advantage of course Barcelona in a team like this will still get good results until the end of the season and make its position stronger in the standings.

Still, even if Real lose to Atletico and Sevilla, they have to lose 2 more games (and Barca needs to win all of them). Not that I can't believe we'll do it, it'll be tough but for sure doable, but Real's not known to let things like that slip from them and if they beat Chelsea, it'll be 100% motivation that should push them through.

Anyway, I know I talk about Dembele a lot and is it weird that others are also now talking about him? No jinx Wink

Can't believe that after all the playing I'm only #35 Global Rank lol

I think it'd be really nice to see the actual btc value of this and perhaps the value of the guy above/below you?

But nah jk, of course I believe it. Casinos are like this, you play a lot for a few weeks and you can climb very far, but you step off the time being and can drop quick. Also got my badge, very pretty. I believe I've definitely done over 100 winning wagers in a day so look forward to seeing that badge pop out.

Spurs throw on a show and London put on another one, but it wasn't from the Gunners in the end. EPL is as unpredictable as any league, I don't care what they say, except City or Liverpool, but even so, you can't predict how they will win these days.

Anyway, you guys all enjoy Champions League, I have to wait a few more days to see my team in action. Or shall I say, see the replays when I wake up while trying not to hear about the result.
3333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Brett Lee special - Cricket IPL" @ 21.00 odds on: April 05, 2022, 10:20:06 AM
I took that one but this was a bust in the end, only 14, so it was almost a push.

Lucknow Super Giants just 1 Leg Bye and 3 WDs, won the match. The star for LSG was Avesh Khan whom they paid a hell lot more than they should have apparently, but in the end his bowling gave the match to them so as they might say, more than paid for his fee already.
3334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 05, 2022, 08:13:41 AM

Anyway tonight, important game for Arsenal. Beat Crystal Palace and they have 2 games of cushion with only 9 games left!
~snip

yeah, in the end, it will a race between London rivals, Arsenal and Tottenham, with Manchester United just watching, despite popular belief that United will see CL next season
Arsenal should be good to win tonight, Premier is getting realistic scores in last few rounds

it is a longer round than usual, which concludes with another match for Everton, nightmare season, but hopefully Burnley will stay on four points difference after the match

Well, that was totally unexpected. Did Palace play so well or did Arteta forget to tell his kids to play?

Doesn't change the situation though, except to give Spurs more hope, but it's still going to be London teams in Champions League Chelsea, Arsenal/Spurs. Manchester is blue this decade for sure, United are just counting on mistakes and none of these teams can make enough mistakes in last 8/10 games.

Extremely disappointed with Arsenal yesterday night,I lost quite some mBtc on them,I thought to be a sure win the game of yesterday based on their recent form I thought they would crush Crystal Palace which plays absolutely for nothing.I always tend to forget that I am betting on the Premier League where surprises are the main event.I wonder how many people in the pool had predicted a Crystal Palace win at such scale.

Only one guy picked Crystal Palace in our pool. And that guy is a Spurs fan, so he is happy lol

I imagine how much pain to watch European football if you're Asia. I experience similar things when I try to watch events hel in America or Asia. Offcourse, you can watch replay, but then you have to avoid spoilers somehow and it still don't give same emotions as live game.
And that Pedri goal was real beauty. Important win and next target is Eintracht.

Replays are very hard to find unless it is a big game, and usually they play it on a very bad time anyway either afternoon or night, when there is something else on) but it's really not the same if you already know the result and impossible to not know lol I try sometimes but it never works. Social media and phone just have a way of telling you!

But strangely for me I actually used to not mind staying up late to watch football. The real problem now is my work shift which changes week to week and I actually start work around now to end of shift, which is just around midnight my time. By the time I get home, there could be some games but I am too tired to stay up OR my shift starts very late and around the times games play.

Either way my sleep is so screwed in past years. And none of it to football benefit Sad

Yeah it was very nice goal from young Barca prodigy. I liked how Barca supporters welcomed Rakitić, he played for them many years and he went away during covid restrictions so this was first time supporter had a chance to say good by to him. Too bad Pedri was not playing then so he had no respect and sold him a world class fake before doing another one and then scoring a goal Smiley

Ah I really miss these moments because I can't watch the games so no idea this happened, that's very good of them, but Barca can be a classy crowd (if you forget pig heads thrown lol).
3336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 04, 2022, 12:39:36 PM
For the trio, better days are ahead!
The accomplishments they have made so far should motivate them to perform well in their upcoming matches. To be honest, it's really nice to see that their best trio scored in a match. In a football match that made history, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar each scored a goal for PSG. The game was against Lorient. I am interested in seeing how they blend. This would be an integral part of the club's advancement.
good for them, but there are still 8 matches left, PSG maintained the winning vs Lorient last night. maybe hard for another club, Marseille to beat them, but chance has still had. The trio of attackers was wonderful tonight, they are share goals with each other (Neymar 2, Mbappe 2, and Messi 1) And interestingly, Sergio Ramos is fit after having treatment for 2 months from injured. PSG is in the full squad now, it would be a shame if was no trophy for this year.

I definitely feel for them, some boos and some heckling for sure from the crowd, it'll be a while before they win them over but they just have to use the remainder of the season to work on their confidence and teamwork. I'll always follow Messi, to Ligue 1 as he is now and to wherever he goes, Barca doesn't forget.

World Cup is also there to soothe spirits, for all of those involved Smiley

I translated it and it says bottom hole. It's close to butt hole, is that what you mean? moving on, even if he shows his receipt that he truly supports bnb, that won't still make his wishes come true. Just because bnb works great as an alternative to eth, people then think that it is better than eth.

Yup this is what I mean, he and a few users have similar names I suspect they are even the same group of people using the same theme of body parts Smiley

Anyway, I meant to say he should show his receipts because the accounts like him all talk crap about crypto but they are just making thinks up.

BNB and every ETH challenger are just cheaper/faster than ETH. That literally is the only thing they understand!

There are way too many trolls on this forum for sure, I do not see the forum staff really caring about it neither, people shill scam projects around here and even those do not get deleted, so I doubt some trolls messages would, not that it should, but at least it should be downvoted. Reddit like system is 100% required here for sure.

There are a few of them using foul language as their names, just from another language. I reported once or twice but I guess it's not really a crime, so I guess I can't complain. But the quality of their post isn't great anyway usually. The staff do care, they do delete posts but I think account banning/deletion is something very difficult to justify.

Barcelona will definitely achieve the la liga champion title in this season.

Either you have zero idea or you are a genius. Which one are you lol

waiting to see what Barca will done tonight, but it is a home win IMO, without any doubt

Actually I set an alarm for me to wake up and try catch a little bit of the game but came home way too tired to even hear the alarm. I think one day I will move to a country 3 or 4 hours before me so I can watch all these games!

BUT watch the Pedri replay and be happy. Xavi says he actually is being encouraged to shoot more and more in training, because he's very shy lol

Trofo buway is this supercomputer for real or just made up? I search for it and the news reports never show the supercomputer, sure it's not some guy in his garage? Smiley

Anyway, 80% chance is crazy, makes it big money to bet on them to win title, so have any of you done this yet?

Anyway tonight, important game for Arsenal. Beat Crystal Palace and they have 2 games of cushion with only 9 games left!

Well done man, pipped me as well in the process. Was always going to be hard, but this is why you don't give up. Take note, rest of you bastards Wink

I have entered top 5 before actually but then I dropped out and now am going back in again, so you can probably do the same if you get lucky. And yes, it's definitely luck because exact scores are a gift of pure randomness I don't even think many people expect it.

Me and hahay have the LEAST exact scores in the top 10 but I have the most Close and most Slam points, so in reality I got the most correct results, but so many lost points on exact scores.
