3322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin Be a Good Investment in 2020 on: January 29, 2021, 01:10:46 PM
I said it before and say it again, as much as you want to hate this coin but you cannot deny the lasting power of a community that actually still cares, still mines, still trades, still hodls.

How many altprojects spend millions to achieve half of what Dogecoin can with a loyal community? Awesome to see and good for crypto overall:)
3323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 29, 2021, 12:06:01 PM
Liverpool back on track after ending a winless run and enduring a lacklustre performances for long this their first EPL win in 2021 courtesy of Tottenham who also lost their first game in 2021, from on set Liverpool look more ambitious and command the match with authority it is  a hard fought win which they deserve meanwhile their title challenge is back on track with with 2 points separating them with Man City who has an outstanding game, the table is once again opened and looks  more interesting thus EPL becoming more competitive.

You are all very welcome. Spurs have now gifted 6 points to Liverpool. It seems our curse is Firmino and he has a knack for scoring in injury time. Our defense was all over the place last night and even VAR helped us to cancel Salah's goal but Bale just is a bad replacement for Kane. He even had one very bad shot (or cross I could not tell) go high over.
3324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 29, 2021, 10:51:38 AM
And the craziest thing about it is that it is still going strong right now,,, this was even better and longer-lasting than the tiktok doge challenge. So it seems virality is less powerful than good old Fomo hype for the memecoin.

Alts and Defi must be soooo jealous of DOGE right now!
3325  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: January 29, 2021, 10:05:55 AM
It is not completely correct if we are referring to the games provided by Stake. The house edge of Plinko is 1% while Baccarat is 1.1%. What is good in plinko is that there is a guarantee 20% back of every bet you place because there is no 0x payout.

Had no idea this was the plinko style never seen it before except on custom rows (which you can do in most other plinko as well).

1% is seemingly looked down on or overlooked by a lot of players for some reason. Still people preferring to play at 2% or even more. Which really is double the house edge! Guess people still do not get what HE means.
3326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every candle tells a story on: January 29, 2021, 08:16:05 AM
Yeah it's possible to analyse based on candles what's going to happen next but I'm not sure whether for bitcoin it's so accurate unless you stick to analysing just one timeframe of candles. For example there are technical analysis patterns involving candles but finding 3 candles that are red on one timeframe might be 6 on another...

Like BTC/DOGE candle yesterday was totally unreasonable for candle patterns. You see from nowhere all that crazy volume then crash, you expect stability but another huge candle to take Doge to ATH vs USD. Very hard to tell anything, a story for sure,,, but not a prediction in all that we can see in any case!
3327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 29, 2021, 06:55:31 AM
Worst result and worst outcome Harry Kane injured on both ankles,,, I think even the second clash was his own ankle hitting himself. Liverpool deserved to win, so no complaints. Even the Salah goal should have stood (but so should Son's goal then hehe).

Congratulations. Me and Mourinho have a "nice" Friday now.
3328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC for bounty hunters on: January 28, 2021, 12:59:20 PM
Making fake Identity Document is illegal. And as far as I know, all KYC IDs are passed through third party verifier where they can validate the documents. If you provide them with fake ID, they will know. Unless they don't use any third party or even try to verify the documents, you won't be able to pass. Though that would be suspicious. I mean, what do they do with those IDs then?
And don't send your ID for those shitty rewards. Once they scam you, the next thing they are going to do is sell your ID on the blackmarket to make some extra profit.

Never mind if it is illegal it WILL be used against you. People will pay so much money for this, and your identity can be sold to many third parties. To know your data, to even clone your identity and worse to commit crimes in your name that you will never probably even ever discover until you actually get apprehended.

Not worth it!
3329  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: January 28, 2021, 12:25:40 PM
There are other interesting topics where you can bet like in politics.
Sportsbetting is unpredictable these days, maybe because of the impact of pandemics.
Right now, just enjoying placing bets with a win rate of about 60%.
I really am hoping that futuur will add other alts in their payment method.

Politics is not an every day event,,, I would probably bet it more often if you could bet every day on every election but you might as well bet on the weather or temperature. Sportsbetting IS unpredictable but if you find good value,,, then you make up for it that is the whole point of sportsbetting. Not to bet on winner but to bet on value.
3330  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: January 28, 2021, 11:03:04 AM
^ Well, since there's no signature campaign maybe you can do your own,,, take advantage of the situation that you will be the only one doing it;)

If you can be allowed to put your referral link in the signature that is. I actually have a lot of signups from my own. So it definitely works.
3331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's show the world we can do what a reddit group did! on: January 28, 2021, 09:38:47 AM
Except what OP is trying to do is traditional pump and dump. What the reddit gamestop did was Find out which stocks the hedge fund was betting against and then just buy it up to pump. They did not need to dump, because the hedge fund by contract had to buy all the stocks back at a higher price.
3332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 28, 2021, 09:06:52 AM
What a tight race we are watching in PL ..crazy game yesterday, United drops point, Chelsea drops points, Leicester drops points, Everton drops point....and City drifts away to the top with one game left. Also Arsenal has also found a momentum but won't call them solid yet while City has found a good run with Gundogan back in their squad. Do you think City will be able to continue form till the end?

We also have Liverpool vs Spurs today. Get ready for Mourinho vs Klopp. Cool

I got my Spurs betting going on. I know Liverpool have had a really bad run with no wins since a long time,,, but at the same time if you watch them play they are not fools on the pitch just having bad luck with injuries. Still confident my team can win this one,,, but it will be a super tight one for sure. One bet is all I dare make and money line : Spurs 3.34 at Sportsbet:)
3333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DeFi Craze: Could ETH be seen positive reaction in coming days? on: January 28, 2021, 07:45:25 AM
I did not realize defi total locked value has gone up to a new record,,, but is that news all sort of logical since BTC and ETH made new ATHs anyway?

What are the stats in actual units of BTC and ETH locked, have they also gone up because that to me will be the real indicator of whether investors trust defi more.
3334  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: January 28, 2021, 07:04:14 AM
I disagree that it was evident that Manchester United would lose,,, they are still the stronger team without their star players and Sheffield was bottom team with only one win the whole season from 19 games! Plus both goals were from keeper mistakes. Very glad I stayed out of that but whoever took Sheffield I guess would won 10x or more? What was the odds?
3335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to still make a good return from Bitcoin? on: January 28, 2021, 05:57:13 AM
Profit is the word people use when they think of trading and speculation,,, and in general this means they want it fast. Bitcoin is probably not effective for that in the sense unless you get really lucky (like buying in October at 12k and then seeing 40k in January!).

You see Bitcoin as long term appreciative value and you are set:)
3336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UNI coin is the next BNB. ? on: January 27, 2021, 02:22:40 PM
I don't get, which one do you think is more risky to invest on between the two? UNI is from a decentralized exchange and it's the first decentralized exchange to have massive liquidity and volume, binance BNB token is even stronger simply because of the team behind the project, even if hacks do come it can't take down binance exchange

Uni is a non-custodial exchange, that is the only thing decentralized about it. The developers/founders are pretty much still in charge of what goes on on that platform. And you bet they still boost a lot of the token liquidity there. Similar to BNB, except maybe that Uni seemed more serious about trying to decentralize with UNI token.
3337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: January 27, 2021, 12:49:30 PM
I know I am wearing the signature so like everybody else here also having it,,, we like to talk about the sites we support.

When you are talking about newbie sites, you must bear in mind that not every newbie knows crypto very well and even to deposit and play can be quite complicated especially with sites that convert crypto into usd/euro. Always better to start with a site you do NOT need to deposit first to try.

Hence,,, recommend sites with faucets to try free amounts and get comfy. Yolodice, Crypto-Games are some good examples:)
3338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Bitcoin dominance falls Isn't it common for altcoins to rise? on: January 27, 2021, 12:15:15 PM
yes it seems it is true, some defi coins and anything related to or collaborating with it will increase.
so there are many projects that do not have a merged definition or create their own defi, it's like they see that the defi has quite an attractive market domination and don't want to be left behind.
whoever can't adjust to the circumstances will either fall behind or die.

You are not really saying anything that makes sense. Defi coins are not gaining because of collaborating,,, it is simply a display of demand for their use that is making them cost more. A lot of hype and quick profit potential making people excited but once it dies down,,, people will go again for what is proven, hence Bitcoin.
3339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 27, 2021, 10:43:45 AM
It seems that Arsenal has started to find their rhythm so that their recent performance is quite good. But the real deal is this weekend, where they have to fight against Man United. If they are able to compensate Man United or can even take the full points, then the top 4 is not something that is impossible to achieve.

Hope to see the same from my team. Every time we feel like we are getting somewhere,,, Spurs find a way to slip and stutter. But I think this season it has affected every team in EPL now. Liverpool is a shock because of last season's impressive form but we have to be realistic and see that this season will not escape its effects on any team no matter how big the club.
3340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of so many cryptocurrencies? on: January 27, 2021, 10:08:14 AM
They don't really have a different use. As you have said, they're following bitcoin which is a payment for all transactions and the same use. There's no difference between the use of bitcoin and these altcoins. They have a preferred industry to be made as a token but that's just the same as bitcoin being a payment for most transactions. It all started from the ICOs which preferring to the industries that they are promoting like in Energy, precious metals, you name it, there are many of them before.

I have been here long enough to know that even for socalled utility tokens,,, the uses are all made up. They are logical and rational,,, but the motivation is seldom big enough for people to want to use (usually for cheaper or faster but nothing is as cheap or fast as Visa at the moment).

Worse still is getting merchants to accept alts. Almost near impossible.
