It's hard to believe that the results of yesterday's 5 English Premier League matches were beyond the expectation of many. Chelsea, Leicester and Manchester United failed to get maximum point from their respective matches. Worse, Manchester United had to lose to the worst team currently in the Premier League (Sheffield United). Leicester and Manchester United have squandered chances to overtake Manchester City at the top of the table, but it would be great for Manchester City to win the follow-up.

Manchester City will probably make the difference in point between Manchester United and Leicester even more if they are able to win the game against Sheffield United and I believe Manchester City can do it.

Villa losing to damn Burnley, and now United losing to one of the worst teams in europe this season...i might take another break from this ramdom shitshow called EPL

It's already matched the feelings of most of the fans of Manchester United.
I don't know why their social media really market hard that match like it will a big game where United will show the way they play well.
At that point, I already have mixed feelings that United will be messed up.

I can not believe man united lost against sheffield utd the last position team with only one victory this season and man united on a good form and now that they lost three points city has a chance to get 4 points lead over them its a bad result for man united and they might regret these points at the end of the season.

Probably they underated Sheffield United before the match and have full confidence that that 3 points is already taken , what a surprise game, a lowly rated and relegation battling team defeating Man Utd is unbelievable that is football for you, I am sure millions of bettors across the globe also lost a lot of money by picking Man Utd despite the fact that the odd is small, above all EPL title is open to any best performing team among top 8 teams in the next 10 matches we shall know the real title hopeful.

What is very surprising is that Manchester United and Sheffield are indeed beyond expectations because the team in the relegation zone will not win against the Red Devils because we know Man United's sharpness has been seen in the previous few matches, even able to beat Liverpool.

So it was a little less focused on their defense so that they were able to break the goal. I don't know if they were too underestimating or not, obviously this is an embarrassing match at home.

Most of our wins have been against teams at the bottom half of the table ^{[apart from Southampton at the time]} while the upcoming test against Man U ^{[at home]}, is going to show how far we've come in the last month or so ^{[even though they just lost, I expect us struggling against them at home]}.

Please recall how Chelsea and Lampard slipped so fast to the middle of the table in one month. Big clubs are staying in their good positions but there are no strong, stable and dominant team in the Premier League in this season. I meant there is no outperformed team so far.

In the previous match, Firmino is a hero for Liverpool with his late goal. That win broke the confidence of Tottenham and they spent few rounds to take it back. Now, their forwards, Son and Kane are still the best couple in the Premier League and each player is among the best in the Europe.

I bet a win for Tottenham.

@igehhh I don’t know what were you expecting because Ole had a relaxed attitude before this match, and ultimately the club paid a price for his attitude. Furthermore Manchester United played like a b team, and I’m not even sure how they’re sitting so high in the table.

I got my Spurs betting going on. I know Liverpool have had a really bad run with no wins since a long time,,, but at the same time if you watch them play they are not fools on the pitch just having bad luck with injuries. Still confident my team can win this one,,, but it will be a super tight one for sure. One bet is all I dare make and money line : Spurs 3.34 at Sportsbet:)

Well yeah table difference is not much so any kind of dropping points would pave way for the teams behind on the table. That being said Chelsea have good amount of time to make their way back into top 4. Chelsea has a big squad and it kinda becomes difficult when there are many first team players and they all are seeking for playing minutes. Havertz and Werner still not performing their best is also a worrying factor. There is lot on Tuchel's head so he has to do a lot of work- I mean finding the best players, formation and so....

With the goalless form Liverpool are going through I would say Spurs are the favourites but you can't underestimate Klopp and his team. They would be looking forward for this match and get on track.

The odds on Spurs are very good indeed! But I wouldn't bet on this match today, although I prefer Spurs too! Spurs show good statistics unlike Liverpool, and play at home... Perhaps they are more motivated to win today's match!

actually one team had to drop points, since they played in-between
regarding Spurs and Liverpool, I will put under goals on my ticket, just to have it more interesting to watch, and would probably be happier with Tottenham win in the end, although that lose could mean end of Liverpool championship battle hopes, would be almost 10 points behind City, it is a good bet on Tottenham, but good value does not mean that Spurs will gonna take it for granted

Manchester Utd really shocked me last night being defeated by Sheffield Utd 1-2 in their home game. Sheffield were really lucky to get a win in this game. I don't know how Manchester Utd lost this easy match. They were much better in general. This is an important point loss for them. Because if Manchester City win their missing match, the point difference will be 4.
