Wow man, that's some crazy stuff.  I REALLY hate to agree with the idiots on /r/btc but maybe Blockstream is an illuminati slash bilderberg project.  Sumbitches.

Difficult choice cause even the best big block devs like Gavin said segwit and LN were a great idea but this is something one needs to really think about.

Sumbitch illuminati.  < --- had to say it again cause it makes me feel all anarchist-like inside.

I remember you guys were thinking of adding segwit, thought you should be aware of the latest on it.

How do the signatures work?  They are separated into two separate blocks so there would be two blockchains running? One would store a block of transactions and a block of signatures?

blockstream put in the FIBRE network to change the topology of the network (as gatekeepers) so that if segwit activates the segwit nodes control what gets filtered down to old native nodes.

in simple terms segwit nodes receive a cluster of data which is one lump of data called the blockweight where the signatures have their own txid to link back to the txid of the baseblock. if they have whitelisted old native nodes they have to send the smaller 'base' block' to old native nodes

its bait and switched to pretend its one network but because the old nodes are not receiving the same data as the segwit nodes. a fresh segwit node wont sync from a native node.

a native node wont receive segwit unconfirmed transactions. so its a 'pretend' single network. but with differing data held and/or relayed.
same goes with segwits pruned nodes. a segwit node wanting a full sync wont sync from a pruned node. so again all these core features are causing issues for the REAL full node count.because not all the nodes hold all the same data.

core have swept under the carpet how they have made anything not segwit as being second class. but pretended its all good because its "compatible"

as you can see below.
on the left is what people for 6-7 years thought the node network looked like. with pools sending out data and EVERYONE sharing the same data.
on the right is how how segwit/fibre has changed the network topology. to centralise segwit as the gate keepers of what data non segwit nodes get

and yes, segwit nodes could simply not whitelist old native nodes and make it reliant on the pools to send data to old nodes, which looking at this image below is the one on the right.(very worse case scenario, but plausible)

EDIT:gmaxwell buzzwords
downstream(old) <-> upstream(segwit) <-> pool
upstream(segwit) <-> pool<-> downstream(old)

its all explained here including the bit about signature/tx data

Latest on Dangers posed by Segwit,
Words of a Former Segwit Supporter Who has Realized the Truth!

Quote
Initially, I liked SegWit. But then I learned SegWit-as-a-SOFT-fork is dangerous (making transactions "anyone-can-spend"??) & centrally planned (1.7MB blocksize??). Instead, Bitcoin Unlimited is simple & safe, with MARKET-BASED BLOCKSIZE. This is why more & more people have decided to REJECT SEGWIT

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/5vbofp/initially_i_liked_segwit_but_then_i_learned/

Quote
You wanted people like me to support you and install your code, Core / Blockstream?

Then you shouldn't have a released messy, dangerous, centrally planned hack like SegWit-as-a-soft-fork - with its random, arbitrary, centrally planned,
ridiculously tiny 1.7MB blocksize - and its dangerous "anyone-can-spend" soft-fork semantics.

Now it's too late. The market will reject SegWit - and it's all Core / Blockstream's fault.

The market prefers simpler, safer, future-proof, market-based solutions such as Bitcoin Unlimited.

Quote
The damage which would be caused by SegWit (at the financial, software, and governance level) would be massive:

Millions of lines of other Bitcoin code would have to be rewritten (in wallets, on exchanges, at businesses) in order to become compatible with all the messy non-standard kludges and workarounds which Blockstream was forced into adding to the code (the famous "technical debt") in order to get SegWit to work as a soft fork.

SegWit was originally sold to us as a "code clean-up". Heck, even I intially fell for it when I saw an early presentation by Pieter Wuille on YouTube from one of Blockstream's many, censored Bitcoin scaling stalling conferences)

But as we all later all discovered, SegWit is just a messy hack.

Probably the most dangerous aspect of SegWit is that it changes all transactions into "ANYONE-CAN-SPEND" without SegWit - all because of the messy workarounds necessary to do SegWit as a soft-fork. The kludges and workarounds involving SegWit's "ANYONE-CAN-SPEND" semantics would only work as long as SegWit is still installed.

This means that it would be impossible to roll-back SegWit - because all SegWit transactions that get recorded on the blockchain would now be interpreted as "ANYONE-CAN-SPEND" - so, SegWit's dangerous and messy "kludges and workarounds and hacks" would have to be made permanent - otherwise, anyone could spend those "ANYONE-CAN-SPEND" SegWit coins!

Segwit cannot be rolled back because to non-upgraded clients, ANYONE can spend Segwit txn outputs. If Segwit is rolled back, all funds locked in Segwit outputs can be taken by anyone. As more funds gets locked up in segwit outputs, incentive for miners to collude to claim them grows.

 Cool

FYI:
Segwit => Trojan Virus for a Blockchain   Tongue

To the The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! thread: I wish I knew how to quit you. Sometimes I miss you so much I can hardly stand it.

Hahaha.  Crazy sumbitch.

The price of Ixcoin keeps going lower and lower. It reached close to 350 satoshi in Cryptopia which is ridiculous compared to the price of bitcoin.
Maybe I should try putting a 100 satoshi buy order to see if anybody would dump to me.

Yeah, for ~6 months now the price has been getting killed by huge dumping by most likely CEX.  Any bids would be nice to see.

you all wonder why tax ppl chase wright

he goes round in private jets with his billionaire buddies and pays no tax

lives in antigua
travels and gets away

he does not live in places more than 6 months a year so he is not tax resident

then flies about and gives nothing back for all he takes

Sounds like a dream life to any finance savvy people.  Even the "altruistic" buffet and gates do everything they can to pay less taxes.

Not sure why you're such a communist.  Smiley

Gleb, you sumbitch!

I put you in for a really big promo with Satoshi.  Spoetnik too.

Now can you stop pooping on my favorite thread.  Go do something important until Satoshi calls you.

Dream Wars!

Just an FYI, I've never been an insider.  Never met anyone in crypto.  2 months ago there was absolutely no sane logical reason for me to think Satoshi knew me let alone personally write me.

The first part has happened (against improbable odds).  Now you monkeys know what's coming next.

Your welcome!

This is ~ The Signal! ~

Not only is Spoetnik stalking me, but now Vlad likes him better than me.  Cry Cry Cry

Going to bed now. If I dream about Vlad, I'll mention it tomorrow.

If your dream doesn't include Satoshi or iXcoin then we don't even wanna hear your Vlad dream.  Smiley
3349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: February 24, 2017, 06:20:26 AM

Ya him.. i thought he was the most likely candidate.
I am not saying he was on his own but maybe was the main figure of a couple people.
Listening to the Craig Wright drama before i figured that was my best guess.. so far.
If that guy died Satoshi's private keys may have died with him i thought.

You seem confident you know who SN is..  Shocked

Hmm that dream was telling me ? hmmm LOL

This was interesting when it came out way back..
http://www.coindesk.com/linguistic-researchers-name-nick-szabo-author-bitcoin-whitepaper/

Is this all part of the grand riddle ?  Huh

It is part of the riddle indirectly.  Unexpected although I too foresaw it in a dream, along with what's coming next.

It's not szabo.  Nobody here knows him.

Sorry I signed an NDA. <---- read as Vlad is SSSSPECIAL.

But yeah, your dream is actually on the spot.  Minus the weed, that might have leaked into your dream.   Tongue

Satoshi ? I thought Craig Wright's buddy died ?
And just the one Vlad sorry i don't have much to say about it though.

Dave Kleinman wasn't satoshi.

3351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: February 23, 2017, 10:42:09 PM

No joke.. but i don't recall a whole lot and there was not a lot too say.
It was weird it was like you were leading me into a place sneaking in at night.. like a hidden back room.
I though maybe for some of it YOU were Satoshi hiding it maybe (more of a vibe type of thing)
I don't recall all of it but it was memorable and weird.
And your the only guy in Crypto i ever dream about.. i also don't recall actually seeing you.
I never seem to really see the people that are there and recall what they look like when i wake up.
So i don't know like i said it was a reflection i think of this topic sort of.
Sorry i wish i had more for ya but i don't recall much of it really and i don't think it was really long either.

The rest of my dream might have been about catching the "Cash me outside" girl outside Wink
I can not say what happened when i allegedly caught her though for legal reasons..

Oh and i have had premonitions in my dreams before.. so they are real !

You had other dreams about me?  Tell me.

Apropos: You wanna meet Satoshi?  Dreams can come true.  Smiley
3352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: February 23, 2017, 09:27:14 PM
Fred probably came from one of the games / water slides type places here.

But i had a dream about Vlad for some reason and it was pretty weird and hard to explain.

It was like he led me into a secret area with some sort of lair of Satoshi was..
Where we would be caught and he showed me this room with a huge pile of stuff in it representing his genius etc.
A wall of magazines and technical books everywhere and in the middle of the room for some off reason he had a super small yet jam packed marijuana garden with every type of pot plant possible.
I am not sure if i was suspecting maybe he was Satoshi or he had a connection to him or what.
It was an odd dream with out a clear point etc.

His Riddles are fucking with my mind  Angry

He's infiltrated my brain and is planting seeds of Satoshi mystery in there!  Shocked

Dude did you really have that dream?

Any more details?  It's improbable that you would have a dream about me.  The huge pile of stuff I showed you represented Satoshi's genius?  What was in that huge pile?

More importantly, what distinct feelings did you have during these things you saw?  While the visions could be riddles/symbols the feelings are always exact.

I do have a connection to Satoshi so congrats, your dream is on track.  Smiley

The price of bitcoin is now steady above 1,100 dollars. I remember in 2013 bitcoin touched this level but crashed after a few days.
The fundamentals of bitcoin is now stronger than 4 years ago. It seems that every assets (bitcoin, stocks) is rising now.

Yeah, besides the unknown risk and market reaction of a potential imminent Bitcoin chain split, I'd say Bitcoin is setting up for a massive run.  ~$3,000 in the next few months and very possible to hit ~$25,000 later this year if the COIN ETF is approved.

After the civil war quiets down it should be a massive bull market for btc and a few select alts.

Satoshi Nakamoto invented Bitcoin to raise funds for his Orphans Care International Charity.

I love this

You switched to 444?  There I fixed it for you.  Smiley

Retards at /r/BTC doing what they do best:  Telegraph!

I've been saying this for nearly a year.  They can't agree so each side is gonna do it their way.  But my guess is that it ain't gonna be pretty.

In fact I said we'd probably see 3 chains instead of just two.

FREEEEEEE BITCOINS!!!!  YAAAYYYY!!!!

Did you not see the Mexicans carrying buckets of stones to shore up the dam? The quarry is spent. No more M-80 blasting.

Haha.  Dude, those Mexicans are building the wall next.  No time to waste, moving up to the M1000 blasters from Chinatown.

California is spared from flooding. The Army Corps of Engineers just fixed the Oroville dam. Tomorrow, after the rain, they're gonna mop the sidewalks with a toothbrush.

The best news is that the quarry next to that dam can finally start blasting earthquakes on a regular basis again.   Roll Eyes

Rule 3)  Grow thick skin and a good sense of humor!

I haven't read these in a while and I can't stop laughing.  Ahh, maybe this girl is more than dishwasher material.  Maybe!
3360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: February 21, 2017, 07:15:47 PM

Okay, the dirty dishes are now in the sink. Since the water's turned off I'm gonna wash them...

Err, what, you wash ur own dishes?  Ok, I just lost all respect for you.  For crying outloud, just stalk yourself a good dishwasher, err, woman.  That's what I did and look at me.   Roll Eyes

But to be successful and not end up in prison you need to follow some basic rules.

1)  Pretend you're dumb so she won't call 911.  One of my dishwasher's first insults was:  "You dumb insecure lil' retard." (I actually have screenshots)

2) Be a man about your sick twisted behavior and take a punch to the face.  Both her and her mom said they were gonna punch me in the face [when] they see me.  That sounds bad, right?  But please [newbie] note the operative word they used:  WHEN!

See how that works?

There are other important stalking rules but start with these two and also really aim for trailer parks in Sacramento, they seem to have the besties.  Smiley
