3341  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: April 24, 2018, 04:22:36 PM
Over 900 Million  pesos worth of bitcoins been scammed.

Filipino couple amasses at least P900M in alleged Bitcoin scam.
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Police have nabbed a couple promising easy wealth through popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa announced on Tuesday, April 10.
Arnel and Leonady Ordonio were nabbed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives – the police division in charge of high-stakes and high-profile crimes – in Vigan City last April 4 through an entrapment operation.

The scam, Obusan said, is structured like a pyramid scheme but with electronic money.

The Ordonios apparently had middlemen who lured people to invest. They promised to pay victims with their earnings every 15 days.

Fueled by the worldwide Bitcoin hype, more and more people were baited by the Ordonio couple's promises.

The complaints started piling in when investors lost contact with the Ordonios.
Whats happened  next?
Around 50 angry victims stormed to Camp Crame on Tuesday, asking the couple if they could still get back the money they had hoped would grow.

Will bitcoin be banned because of that?
I don't think it will be banned in the philippines because philippines are accepting bitcoins now. Actually there is already virtual wallet where you can store your bitcoins and ethereum safely without worrying that you might lose you. Also there are some establishments accept bitcoin as a payment.
3342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another way to invest Bitcoin without Mining on: April 24, 2018, 03:56:03 PM
Hello !

I still Shocked after Hashocean Scam , I dont Trust the Mining anymore !
I whant know other ways to exploit and invest the Bictcoin without mining

or best thing for some one how dont have long time to work in his PC to earn BTC ?
You can invest your bitcoin in exchange where you can see and monitor the price. You can also get profit from it if you want to just learn some techniques how to do that. Just don't stick in one investment because you don't k ow if it will be success all the way so it is better to have a back up plan or back up investment.
3343  Economy / Economics / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: April 24, 2018, 03:27:53 PM
Freedom of payment - any amount of money can be paid and received instantly and anywhere. No bank holidays, no borders, no imposition. Bitcoin allows its users to completely control their money.

Very low fees - there is no handling charge or very little handling fee for the current payment of bitcoin. The user can include the handling fee in the transaction to obtain processing priority and receive the transaction confirmation from the network faster. In addition, there are merchant processors that help merchants deal with transactions, convert bitcoin into legal tender daily and deposit funds directly into merchants' bank accounts. Because these services are based on bitcoins, they can provide a much lower fee than PayPal or credit card networks.

Reduce the risk of merchants - bitcoin transactions are safe, irrevocable, and do not contain customer sensitivity or personal information. This avoids the loss caused by fraud or fraudulent withdrawal, and there is no need to comply with PCI standards. In places where credit CARDS cannot be used or fraud rates are too high, businesses can easily expand new markets. The net result is lower costs, bigger markets, and less administrative costs.

Security and control - bitcoin users are completely in control of their transactions; Businesses cannot force fees that may or may not be found in other payment methods. Paying with bitcoin doesn't have to be tied to personal information in transactions, which provides great protection against identity theft. Bitcoin users can also protect their money by backing up and encrypting it.

Transparency and neutrality - all information about the money supply itself is stored in a block chain, and anyone can check and use it in real time. No individual or organization can control or manipulate the bitcoin protocol because it is password protected. This makes bitcoin's core believed to be completely neutral, transparent and predictable.
There are several advantages of bitcoin. It is an investment where you can put your money into and wait to get some profit, the higher the value of bitcoin the higher the profit you will get. It is convenient to use becayse you can use it anytime and anywhere you want, if your run out of cash.
3344  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative investments on: April 24, 2018, 02:31:36 PM
Aside from bitcoin what do you think is one of the best alternative investments in the economy today?
Real estates are the best alternative investment for me especially when you buy more than one unit because you can rent it out to people. And it is for lifetime and it will guaranteed your future because even there is no mkre bitcoin you still have investment where you can still get profit.
3345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will destroy the bitcoin? on: April 24, 2018, 02:07:21 PM
Bitcoin appeared in 2009, eight years, the total value of the circulation of bitcoins up and down 200 billion US dollars. Bitcoin was declared "dead" by the media countless times. However, it is undeniable that the media has a huge influence. Therefore, with each media claim that "bitcoin is dead", the price of bitcoin will drop sharply. The magic is that every time Bitcoin is alive, its price has hit a new high all the way. In other words, in the face of so-called drug poisoning amateur media reports, bitcoin gradually developed "resistance", negative media coverage for the impact of bitcoin prices getting smaller and smaller. What will eventually destroy bitcoin? If there is a force that can destroy bitcoin, it must be human greed.
If there is a new coin that is more advanced and has many benifit to people I think it might become bitcoin's rival from people. As you can see there are still flaws of bitcoin and it is not widely accepted in most of the countries in the world. So if bitcoin will develop I think many countries will now accept bitcoins.

3347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government ban bitcoin? on: March 10, 2018, 11:54:22 PM
Bitcoin has been announced since the day it was invented, and it will be suppressed by governments in the future and declared illegal currency. Is the basis, the further development of the currency will be in the interests of the threat to traditional monetary and ruler, not the rights to cryptography currency once governments announced that the currency is illegal, its price will produce volatile in the short term, and may even crash. At the same time, the government will force the bitcoin exchange to be shut down, so that bitcoin can only be sold in private, and its exchange capacity will be badly hit. Will the government ban bitcoin?

I know there is really is a probability of banning bitcoin  yet they have no choice but to be wuth what people want.  Many are really against unto it but couldn't  do much about it. Maybe we just have to really deal with it or shoyld i say they must just deal with it since i stronghold couldn't  even ban such thing
3348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Governments Kill Bitcoin? on: March 10, 2018, 11:49:39 PM
The latest news is that the US government is look closely at Bitcoin. A number of governments such as Russia and China are also planning to issue their own digital currencies. They clearly see a financial threat from Bitcoin.

What do you think? Can governments kill Bitcoin and replace it with their own digital/crypto currency?

I guess government have nothing to do with bitcoin yet they are really a big part of it, still they have no stand with it.  Nobody owns bitcoin.  What we have right now are base on peoples wants not any ones. We are acrually part of bitcoin for what is happening on it or what may happen.
3349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: March 10, 2018, 11:46:53 PM
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.

We arw aware how bitcoin is used anonymously which simply means nobody knows what you have been doing.  Therefore there is really is a possibility that they are used by most criminals. But still it is still dependent on the person if they will choose to use it for crimes.
3350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year? on: March 05, 2018, 10:28:06 AM
Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year?

Do you also have kind of assumption? I already have...

What most usually predict is that bitcoin would fall so hard and even lossing it cpuld probably happen. Well I guess this I a better thread than thosr. It is possible for bitcoi  to rise rather than be lose or even crash. It is bitcoin right? It is what really is. Some are actually use to it anf velieve that it can possibly happen to rise up.
3351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if bitcoin crashes? on: March 05, 2018, 10:18:13 AM
What do you think would happen to the rest of the currencies if for some reason bitcoin were to crash and the price dropped to 0?

Bumps are for cars, crashes are for planes not for bitcoin. Somehow it could possibly be turned in to cash rather than crash. Anyways, I have believed in bitcoin for a lot of months and saying I will keep on believing unto it until  it could, or until it would, last since these is my source of income now.
3352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: March 05, 2018, 10:04:40 AM
Hello,

I'm still learning about crypto currencies and willing to buy some bitcoins. Is it good time to buy?

Thanks

I have seen threads about it or like this for how many times yet I even know that there are all newbies. Somehow we are seing this one as a source of motivating and giving hope to these people who posted it. Well once you are now into bitcoin, it doesn't mean you are late since what you have seen is a high value of bitcoin. You are not late, you just enter it with a wrong timing somehow.
3353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your Bitcoin at $100,000 or what? on: March 05, 2018, 09:40:40 AM
I don't have much of bitcoin to sell it below $100,000 - and will probably do this one year after.
Still have some doubts.. Maybe $200,000 will be a better point?
Please give an advice, your opinion is important!!

PS. It's not a joke. Please be realistic while estimating..
Gonna bring up this topic close to X-Mas 2018.

Well mine is not to sell the bitcoin that I have since it is a matter of choice anyway even though a great thing is right behind of it. I know that somehow and someday I could get more bitcoin or fiat than what is it offered. I just have to wait then so I could manage to gain more than what j could get.
3354  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: March 05, 2018, 09:28:51 AM
Hi guys , Some of my friends are give me some ideas about Trading and Investing.

But i've some doubt which is better in that. What is the advantage and disadvantage? Because I want to focus on one at a time for generating source of income coz my funds are limited.

Can you give some of your useful ideas? I'm a begginer. I need some help. Thank you!

We are aware what trading amd investing is and both are so popular and useful here in bitcoin community. Well, if you are the kind of people who got a long patience tgerwfore I suggest to go investing and yet in the other hand go for trading. But I prefer and love to do both of these, so you should somehow try to do both.
3355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For how long will bitcoin exist on: March 02, 2018, 08:18:30 AM
i have been thinking bitcoin cannot last forever..............i need you guys opinion if what im thinking is right.

Knowing when and where of bitcoin is a really though thing. As far as I know, predicting bitcoins state could gone through a lot of opinions, process and state even though we are fully familiar with it. Much more with the existency of bitcoin, we did not know what coyld possibly and how could this thing happen in this coming scenes.
3356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: March 02, 2018, 06:31:28 AM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!

I don't see or have encountered such thing related  to a safe thing we could experience with bitcoin. So far, what I am seeing and being read are things related to its opposite or simply, scam. That is why finding for safe things for bitcoin could be hard, for me. Although I believe it will always be depending on the person doing it.
3357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin important on: March 02, 2018, 06:08:09 AM
In my opinion it's important because it allows money to become like air or the Ocean. Something that just naturally exists in our lives (without being owned by anyone) and allows us to value things in our world and store wealth.

I think in the future the value will not be determined by any government but by the world economy as a whole.

We all know how bitcoin manage to help many making it their source of income and trying to aim more with it. For me, it is now important as I use it as a way of my income. That is why I try not to pull out anything from it and use to visit it day by day as part of my daily routine right now.
3358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should continue to stay in a low price? on: March 02, 2018, 02:57:43 AM
Which do you prefer?
Bitcoin should stay low, market cap not overly huge, few people talk about it, and then we earn small to revcover our loses or
Bitcoin should get the hype, price hits record high, people start to invest huge amounts, banks, media and governments get alarmed again, and then more bans, FUD, and strong regulations. Let's share ideas

I do not think bitcoin should stay on low price. Although this scenario has been a roller coaster ride through out the years, this problem could be aided with same things which has been done. It is okay to encounter its low price but keeping it is a sad thing and could effect most of us.
3359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 01, 2018, 04:10:17 AM
So my question is.
Are you investing into Bitcoin purely as a investment?
Or are you investing because you believe in Bitcoin and the technology?
Back when Bitcoin started i feel people invested, because there believed in it, and wanted to see it change the world.
Now days i feel people only look at it as a way to make money, and don't really care about the future of it.
Whats peoples thoughts?

For me, it is a very simple and noticeable question that could possibly be answered by a bitcoin user. Well I guess bitcoins part on us is really is to make money which many cares of more than to what you have said, it future it self. It is said and honestly speaking that selfishness turns out to be an attitude on it.
3360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 01, 2018, 03:34:39 AM
With the price starting to creep up again do you think it's a good time to start selling some of my investments or do you think it's worth holding on for a while longer?

We all know how temperamental the market can be but do you think this is just a short term spike?

Selling and holding bitcoin are too good things to settle with. Those these two are risku yet I think is a very great stategy to deal with. Some people are almost use to it that have gotten that right techniques on it. You just have to consider such things such as time.
