3341  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Exchange Fee for various P2P Exchanges , after Pandemic on: October 10, 2020, 11:33:02 PM
You can use the lists from this two thread to broaden your list in the OP. It would also be nice is you made the list into a nice tabular format like it is in this list

- Help: A list of LocalBitcoin alternatives (P2P marketplaces)
- List of P2P/no-KYC exchanges
3342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 10, 2020, 10:48:16 PM
The market as at now.

Cryptocurrency trading is largely based on history with activities repeating itself every now and then with traders who are able to analyze correctly seem to always win the day.
It's easy to say this when you are not an active day trader. Trust me, once you are trading, that's when you realize how unpredictable the crypto market is. If it was that predictable, I mean by people following the historical prices then crypto trading would be the easiest way to get rich but Noooo! It's not what it looks like it is.
3343  Economy / Lending / Re: loans for collateral here come nad take your loan on: October 09, 2020, 11:04:35 PM
Turns out @Floatingboat was also a scammer and untrustworthy as well as OP  Cheesy if you look at their trust ratings. I really would have been interested in knowing which scam would have been successful in scamming the other  Grin
3344  Economy / Reputation / Re: Intrader false accusations and wrong use of trust on: October 09, 2020, 07:21:16 AM
Happens all the time especially when you try to expose scammers or cheats (check my untrusted feedback  Grin). Expect some random negative feedback from low lives but it doesn't matter much because after a few days, the go back to sleeping and chances of them getting into DT are very low. If one ever gets to DT, that's when the members can come under scrutiny and appropriate action like distrusting can be done.
3345  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 4 BTC loan secured by Modular Home on: October 08, 2020, 09:04:02 PM
You probably won't be able to get your 4 BTC loan deal due to the type of asset you are offering as collateral.
In case you missed, Check out this thread to know what kind of collateral is required here

What is considered collateral?

Collateral is something that can easily be resold to cover the loan value plus interest should the loaner default on the loan.

- The best collateral is another crypto-currency, such as Ethereum (also written as ETH).  Coins must be moderately traded on multiple exchanges.
- Some digital wares such as domain names can be considered as long as the user cannot recover it.
- Small valuable items that can be shipped though the mail - i.e. gold, silver, iphones, etc.
- Large items, such as a motorcycle or guitar can be used if you live close to the person giving you the loan.  Try localbitcoins.com

What is not considered collateral?
- Items they want to sell.  They don't want it back, so they will default.  It's scammy unethical behavior and will lead to negative trust.  Check their recent posts!

It's better you just be patient and sell off the house as you intend or try a bank.
3346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: October 08, 2020, 07:00:48 PM
if they do that then it does not sound like a custodial - again my only point is, don't use custodial wallets - if Coinomi is non-custodial then good. I never said they were or were not either type. I said I was not familiar with it but IF IT WAS custodial, that it was not good.
I have used it before, It's multicurrency and noncustodial, but I am quite surprised that the ask for money to support a certain coin or token. If it's just coinomi asking for money then I suggest the team try to explore other multicurrency wallets like
1. Exodus
2. Jaxx Liberty
3. Trust wallet
4. Guarda
5. Atomic Wallet and many more others and try to find out if such wallets also require listing fees.

It's not like coinomi is a much more popular wallet than those listed above.
3347  Economy / Lending / Re: loans for all on: October 08, 2020, 03:28:41 PM
My collateral is ill pay you 1020 xrp at time due, i hope you can help us.
It's absurd that you are trying to look for a loan but have no idea what collateral or interest means. What you are talking about is Interest. Collateral is what you are supposed to offer as security to the lender to be able to get a loan from him. So that in case you fail to pay up later, the lender can recover his money by selling the collateral.
3348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: October 07, 2020, 09:35:45 PM
we need to make a payment of 2 BTC
this payment is requested by Coinomi for the maintenance costs of nodes and platform, of this we have in collection fund 0.5 BTC, we are missing only 1.5 BTC.
So are the payments made periodically?
Is this what all those multicurrency wallets do? Ask for payments in order for one's coin to be supports

Sorry for the ignorance. This is all new to me. I just need some clarifications
3349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 06, 2020, 09:29:01 PM
As much aa I'll love to watch PL matches with fans cheering their respective clubs, I still think that stadiums shouldn't be reopened anytime soon for fans. Covid-19 hasn't gone yet and the risks is higher when fans are all packed together in stadiums. For instance, Players have tested positive to the virus despite their reduced interactions. So far about 9 Premier League players have tested positive to covid-19. I'm not sure this is a good time to reopen stadiums as no vaccine has been confirmed yet.
The truth is COVID19 is here to stay, at least for a good number of years if the vaccine is not discovered or the clinical trials passed. So we might as well start learning how to adapt and live positively and not in fear.

I have seen some sports events starting to allow a few fans in the Stadia. Why not football?
3350  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loki888 scammed me on: October 06, 2020, 08:32:08 PM
Thanks for the tips guys.. I was trying to safe on YT premium and now I lost 30$. Oh well.
Another user PMer me shortly after I made this thread, I am 100% sure its him. He asked me if I was interested in the same product and said he is willing to do 50/50 and told me exactly how much btc he needs, something that loki told me because my wallet is set in euro and not usd. He speaks just like loki, I’m so sure that this is he’s other account. He even said that he is online for a few more hours, loki said that as well the same way. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2820933
Yeah, such people try to prey on desperate victims and scam them more funds. Tell him no escrow, no deal.
I could help tag this account too only if there is solid proof of a link between the 2 profiles. OP can you please open a type 1 flag on the scammer's profile? I will support it.
3351  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loki888 scammed me on: October 06, 2020, 07:51:59 PM
The user has zero reputation in this forum. I wonder how you ended up trusting him

He asked;
Quote
I have been in the forum since 2018 and you think for 40$ I'll ruin my reputation?

Account age means nothing here. Accounts can be bought or hacked any time.

I also noticed that he changed the email on hes bitcointalk right after he received my funds basically.. so thats also a red flag.
Always be keen and use escrow. The fee an escrow service asks you to pay is way too low compared to losing the whole amount.
The account probably changed hands a few days before scamming you. Not after. These are the sort of things you look out for before dealing with anybody

I am seeing some postive feedbacks on this users profile and he completed multiple deals smoothly. I think you should wait little extra time to get final response from his end. For now you can send your thread link to him through forum PM system and hopefully he will make a response here. Until then keep patience and don't forget to share updates here.
Scammers have a tendency of making a few trades with hope of building trust and postive feedback before scamming users. It's becoming a come practice lately especially with low ranking accounts that have earned a few merits.

I doubt Loki888 will be coming back given that the email address and password got changes right before exit scaming.
3352  Other / Meta / Re: Security bounties on: October 05, 2020, 09:26:49 PM
Is only bitcointalk.org domain considered for this or any other also ?
Like it is said in the OP. The security bounties are exclusively for the forum (bitcointalk.org). Why would admin create security bounties for other domains that the forum is not affiliated with?

The forum is offering bounties for security vulnerabilities.
3353  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 04, 2020, 11:50:50 PM
The previous two days showed the participant pool dropping by 3 participant(s), from 58 to 55. Those that were dropped are the following:

Code:
bor****s
Bor****s
shi****6

Remaining participants just got their final prize increased by 5.45%, to 18.18 mBTC.

Wondering if the two [Bb]or****s accounts are linked...
I reckon all the 3 accounts are linked otherwise why would someone pay to join the pool only to pull out. I think they were  trying to troll through their usernames
3354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 04, 2020, 11:39:33 PM
What's happening to Bayern Munich?
I'm beginning to get scared on placing bets on big teams because now, the turn out of events across leagues have been quite surprising. I knew teams were going to rise up to the challenge with Bayern Munich on the goals recorded on the score board but, hoped not to be this soon.
Ever since Bayern Munich played Sevilla in the super cup, there goal difference range has dropped and it's been quite challenging for them at the games too.

Bayern 4-3 Hertha Berlin

Didn't expect Hertha Berlin to measure up at all. Good one for Hertha Berlin.
But that’s how Bayern Munich have always been at the beginning of each season (if you remember how they performed at the beginning of last season). They always just gain momentum as the season goes by. I think this season they will win the title again.
3355  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] DRK Defi- Plagiarized Whitepaper on: October 04, 2020, 11:07:52 PM
Until now I still see many people promoting this project, if this project is a scam, why don't those who promote it get red trust Huh I don't even see any defense from the team regarding this thread
They are probably bots and users who don't care about any warnings. They don't even care if they are paid by the scammers or not but if you are willing to help list all users who are promoting the project in this  thread. I Will tag them.
3356  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange Coinbase Hands Over Customer Data to UK Tax Authority on: October 04, 2020, 10:35:19 PM
Please this topic does not belong here, move it to the Exchanges Board.

I am not surprised by Coinbase exchange's acts. Not so long ago I read about the news of a deal between coinbase and IRS, where the service was to provide IRS with their blockchain analytics program. They were claiming that they would not provide user data to any authorities, but we all know that was a lie -   https://www.coindesk.com/irs-enlists-coinbase-in-latest-crypto-tracing-deal
3357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 04, 2020, 08:18:18 PM
They were almost 7-2, Villa just missed one goal incredibly 1v1 vs the goalkeeper...
It could have easily been 9 or 10 goals. There was that attempt that hit the wood work too. The goalkeeper was completely beaten

Ooh well it's now 7-2  Grin Grin Grin Grin
Oh shit, I wonder what the Liverpool defense is doing in this match, why are they weak enough to keep the defense up and also Adrian is he asleep ? Oh no, maybe he's hiding his hand in his pocket.
The problem is that they refused to accept what had happened and play to avoid conceding more goals. They instead continued playing with a high defensive line which Aston Villa gladly took advantage of. At this rate I don't know who will even lift the Premier League this season
3358  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Social media and tv making us adult before time? on: October 04, 2020, 12:34:49 PM
I will disagree with you. Immorality has been there since time immemorial. Yes, I personally don't like the current trend where children seem to be much more exposed to adult content but the past wasn't any good. If you go back in time, I believe things were far much worse and brutal, only that there was not enough media coverage to report such incidents.

For example during the times of World Wars and revolution. Children were forced to become Adults before time by getting recruited as Child soldiers. Abduction, Raping and defilement of young girls was the order of the day. This kind of things can't happen in the current situation without causing a stir.
