3341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 8000$ dollars to invest in crypto ? on: May 15, 2021, 11:51:49 AM
I already reported your topic so that it will be on the right board.

To be honest, to my shame, I have not researched properly the projects I want to invest in, only some short reviews and discussions on forums and on different websites like https://isthiscoinascam.com/ . So it's mostly a gamble. I'm not putting my retirement money here, so I'm willing to risk it.
I think you need more references if you really want to put your hard earned money on any investment. I know it's not that easy though doing research and it's hard to cite what really are good fundamentals of the cryptocurrency but I think it's worth it if you devote yourself on that.

The gains are all speculation but I think you may be correct on some of them if the alt season goes parabolic again. Well, good luck on where you put your money just manage your risk.
3342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Road to Hero! A challenge to self, and challenge to yours! on: May 15, 2021, 05:02:30 AM
I'm sorry if that's rude but you were expecting merits on this post to help you achieve your goal, Isn't it?
I believe so but I wouldn't call this some kind of begging. If you someone wants to give merit just because of this created thread better if users try to scan onto his profile instead and check if there are posts worthy of merit, I'd say he's just want to share his journey here and there's nothing wrong with it. So do your question too.
3343  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Statistics Creator for Pilipinas Local Board on: May 14, 2021, 11:04:13 PM
Gusto ko sana try yung mag gather ng data para sa lokal natin pero wala akong idea san ako kukuha ng information like ung ginagawa ng iba na nakukuha nila total of post, total of merit sent and etc. para naman updated tayo sa nangyayari sa lokal natin at para makapag boost din sana kahit papaano. If may way kayo pero need pag aralan willing to do it naman.

--snip--
Having that inside you the chance is better and there's always room for improving your opportunities each time you play.

Whenever I used to play slots, I tried to keep my bet sizes very low (not in cents, but not more than a buck or two) and rolled it. If I lost like 10 bets, I left the slot and got back to sportsbetting to recover that loss and if I lost $5 there (which is my base bet for sportsbetting), I stopped there and took out all the funds so to control myself and didn't play again that day. I simply wait for the right time and mood so not to take any wrong decisions due to bad mood.
I feel you there @Stedsm, we're much the same on how we gamble I doesn't settle for one play but this time around I'm into live casino it feels like I just really missed the traditional gambling. Just control your bankroll that's the best one to stick to and yeah gambling with unsettling emotion isn't the best way to gamble.
3345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Jumps 22% as Elon Musk Hints at Improving Network’s Transaction Efficie on: May 14, 2021, 10:11:11 AM
Elon Musk again! What will Elon Musk do next? I think if you follow him closely, you will make some money anyway. hahaha

https://www.coindesk.com/dogecoin-elon-musk-tesla-transaction-efficiency
Just unfollow the guy if you will, he just showed his true nature this time. Yes he's a successful one but I don't think we should follow him in terms of any financial matters involving crypto, he's not a financial advisor.
3346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk and Tesla's BTC conspiracy on: May 14, 2021, 04:06:54 AM
I think Musk is showing what he was and before he dives into Bitcoin as well as his company they didn't get much information about what Bitcoin does. Could be that they just enjoy shilling and not really putting effort on their own research.

At this point I'm wondering whether he is going to also create a shittoken too, maybe TeslaCoin to dump on idiots and make a couple of million dollars out of thin air.
That wouldn't be impossible from this guy, I wonder if people will ever trust again his views about cryptocurrencies.
3347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New meme coins 😂😂😂 on: May 13, 2021, 03:19:04 PM
Your money will just be of a meme if you trust with it as your investment, for sure everyone knows what meme is.

It seems now is the era of meme coins, new meme coins appear every day, and most of them are project scams.
It seems but tomorrow or the future if you trust you money in this kind of cryptocurrencies you'll end up in a meme state too. It's great to be at the initial profiting days but if you won't get out when it turns bearish that will be a catastrophe over your portfolio.
3348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 13, 2021, 10:16:36 AM
That was because of addiction, that's how dangerous addiction is, it will make you lose everything you have if you will not stop. People with this kind of problem do not think that losing is possible, they will always think of bouncing back until they don't have anything to gamble.

Gambling is not bad if we treat it as entertainment, or we can go further but we need to make sure we are already responsible enough to manage the risk. This guy has learned his lesson the hard way,  £20,000 might take a while for him to recover but not in gambling anymore.
They are making it as a habit but if the habit gets cozy like they want it to have everytime that makes it more dangerous, of course the urge to win because of the losses. The thing is we are aware that gambling if can't be handled properly will lead to bad habits yet many are still risking to take and go with it.

That's an expensive lesson he got there but just happy for the guy that he already cope with that addiction already and healing. We've seen some cases like this and we've been warned and even gambling sites does that, it's just that some individuals can't handle.
3349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 13, 2021, 07:52:53 AM
Kevin Love exploded for 30 points and 14 rebounds against the Celtics. Given his recent lack of effort on the court this felt more like a tryout for a job as opposed to just a regular season game. It’s great the Love still has so much left in the tank. I think he proved that tonight leading his team to victory over a much higher ranked opponent.
It's just a disappointment that they may miss again this 2021 playoffs, I think Love is still a decent player he just don't have some better teammates along with him. I don't think age already hit him.
3350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla destroys bitcoin :-[ on: May 13, 2021, 05:42:01 AM
Tesla won't be the one to destroy Bitcoin, the market will. The thing is there's nothing to be shaken off over this news to be honest since they aren't just accepting some Bitcoins with their cars, that's their decision. Market was just dumb over the news or should I say those retail investors, I wouldn't be surprised if the said company bought more during this dip.
3351  Other / Meta / Re: [INFO] Statistics for local board. on: May 12, 2021, 02:24:04 PM
You probably missed this thread: [STATS] Local Board Pilipinas - Statistics Center (Updated 10/04/2019) but I think you can get information there, asu was already inactive and I guess that will be nice to see an update or a new thread, just my two cents.
3352  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hamas attacks Israel citizens, Israel attacks Hamas terror targets on: May 12, 2021, 02:09:39 PM
To be honest, I don't think there's something right on what Hamas is doing by now and that should be taken out of the context. I'm just hoping this will end so soon.
3353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 12, 2021, 10:29:00 AM
I just read about the incident where Mayweather has threathened the Logan brothers over the issue of the hat. Mayweather I think is very professional in and out of the ring and in my opinion is not really into pranks or minor shenanigans being committed at him. So that is why he got really pissed when that happened. And the Logan brothers said that they now have people seeing them or like bodyguards who are protecting them because of that threat. The brothers think that Mayweather is a very influential person and that he can pull strings against the brothers.

Source - https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/boxing/logan-paul-floyd-mayweather-fight-bodyguards-b1845674.html
I don't think Mayweather has to threaten them over that hat when in fact Paul already got a black eye. If the rumor is true then why not reserve that on their fight instead? If Floyd want him dead let that ring be the venue and not over some threats I don't think that's manly at all.
3354  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 12, 2021, 04:19:14 AM
When it comes to referral hunting then this also require some luck since you would really be inviting randomly when spreading out your ref link. Just like yours im not really that lucky enough when it comes to that

and all the years ive been playing gambling but still i do get 1-10 maximum referral and none of them are big wagerer or simply a whale or deep pockets but well it doesnt matter though
since this is just a bonus. lol
It requires effort and I think those successful in this venture they do have that lot of known gamblers or they have some sort of trick to do it. I think I've got the same date as you but since I'm a regular gambler I accept that I could just get few referrals.
3355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 11, 2021, 01:10:56 PM
For me personally , it is our family that we need to ask for help and not just government body or anyone.

and also the addict must be willing to cooperate for a successful process.
On the extent the problem can't be handled easily by the family it isn't bad to ask to the concerned authorities especially the experts regarding this issue. Sometimes the only hindrance really is if the problem gambler doesn't want to cooperate.
3356  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Hint from Mark Zuckerberg "Max" & "Bitcoin". Have Facebook invsted on Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2021, 10:39:19 AM
What if his post wasn't that to support Bitcoin or was it? Well, it's just a rumor and I wouldn't have to be that gaga over it unless he has the balls to say it frankly over to the public (institutional investors are like this to be honest, they are that enigmatic).
3357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 11, 2021, 09:09:40 AM
Being addicted to gambling is a serious problem. But how can you justify to bet 20,000? For me this is so much money, I would never gamble with so much money. I would understand if you have won so much money before and if you want to keep gambling with it. But why not just take a little profit, like at least 5k? As reasonable gamblers we need to make sure that we use risk management to put advantage. In my opinion we should only use a fixed percentage of our bankroll in one week or month, to control our potential loses.
Maybe he got that risky appetite and he try to risk whatever he wants on that day he lost that amount of money. To be honest, there are times where we can't control ourselves over things and especially if our emotions are on the way too.

There are ways to control but I think problem gamblers has nothing much to think when they goes on that screen or machine.
3358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 11, 2021, 02:33:38 AM
Quote
After becoming addicted to online casino games in March last year, he lost £40,000 in the space of a month, losing half of that in just one night.

After losing that money too, he found himself in massive debt, and contemplated taking his own life.

I don't know why they are caught up in this moment but I think people know the risks yet they still try. Was it appropriate for him to call the gambling firm wrong or he was right? (See the last part of the article or better read the 3 mins. article instead)

Rest easy Becky666, we may just be an acquaintance here in the forum but it's still sad you'll be leaving so early in this world. To the bereaved family of Becky666, condolences to them.

Farewell.
3360  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: May 10, 2021, 02:39:30 PM
Some gamblers doesn't even make effort to look over the background of the gambling site they are planning to play at. A lot of those players were lately been scam. Regarding the specific topic, it's a form of advertising their site. One should know if the advertisement is exagerrated or not. As what OG said, as long as the games on their site are probably fair, and the site has no intention of being scam, everything is fine.
The thing is some people are easy to accuse the site over what they experience (bad side) especially if it's an unknown site or it's know yet not to be trusted when they (these gamblers) themselves doesn't care to research a bit. I don't think I've seen a content in some video platforms about gamblers winning some huge stash just my themselves most of them are really that sponsored (I say most).

I am sticking on the trusted sites and even if they do that kind of advertising I wouldn't mind as long as they pay me if I won on my bets that's fine too.
