3342  Local / Mining (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Yang Minning ETH Pake vga 4Gb Siap2 bakal pindah kemana ne? on: February 13, 2021, 11:45:00 AM
Sepertinya memang demikian om. Kemungkinan sih setelah dipake beberapa bulan bakal dijual lagi, mengingat supply mestinya udah mulai normal.
3343  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Gate.io Now requires KYC for Deposit ? on: February 13, 2021, 08:20:16 AM
They seem to understand my issue and after some confirmations and proof of tokens. They helped me.
Did they clarify about the KYC issue though? Do users need to KYC first before they can use the platform at all, or there is a limit on withdrawal/deposit before you get the KYC flag? The faq is quite confusing.

I don't remember when but the last time I used them I don't get this mandatory KYC, albeit I only trade for $100 or so.
3344  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: btc transfer cost on: February 13, 2021, 08:01:00 AM
2.  Send Bitcoin with a reduced number of inputs by accepting Bitcoin to the same address (this isn't recommended for your privacy but it's good for reducing fees)
2. Wrong. Using the same Bitcoin address to receive Bitcoin payments does not reduce inputs. Once you decide to spend the bitcoins in the wallet, Number of unspent transaction outputs will be equal to the number of inputs for your new out going transaction
He probably meant transaction consolidation. Just in case somebody doesn't know what this is about, you can read it on https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_to_cheaply_consolidate_coins_to_reduce_miner_fees.

Atm, 40-60 sats/vbyte should be just enough if you want fast confirmation. Sunday is just around the corner and I expect the fees to go lower then.

3346  Local / Mining (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Yang Minning ETH Pake vga 4Gb Siap2 bakal pindah kemana ne? on: February 12, 2021, 09:17:30 AM
Harga GPU naik karena supply emang terbatas banget gan. Mahal bener itu, dulu ane beli 1660 biasa aja sekitar 3.6 juta. Kalau udah nyampe range 6 juta mending sekalian aja beli 3060 TI, kemaren ane dapat di angka 7 juta. Tapi kayaknya stoknya juga dikit. Nunggu sampai Q2 aja biar supplynya lebih baik kalau mau borong GPU" buat mining.
3347  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Desktop Wallet on: February 12, 2021, 08:53:38 AM
It's better to use a separate app for each member of your family.
I think Exodus, Guarda, Atomic, Ownr anf Coinomi are decent, anyway try to find the most suitable wallet exactly for you.
Why though? I'd rather recommend one app that I know works "the best" compared to the others and let them learn about it. If there's any trouble I can easily help them instead of spending some time reading documentations of various apps.

It's not like if there is a bug on that app then all of their funds will be gone. Teaching them about security measures would help them to protect themselves.
3348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My Transaction Stuck already 4th Day - Please Help. on: February 12, 2021, 08:27:45 AM
According to https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/mobile/android/brd/ this wallet supports the RBF feature. Is there no option for you to "bump the fee"/"increase the fee" or something similar in your app?

I get the feeling that either you can enable it when you make a transaction or it is enabled by default but you turned it off somehow.
3349  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Saran Keamanan] Tingkatkan Kesadaran Anda Selama Pasar Bullish on: February 12, 2021, 08:22:17 AM
3350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much does it cost to deploy an ethereum smart contract today. on: February 11, 2021, 11:49:32 AM
0.45 ETH? That sounds so "cheap". I guess that must be a very simple contract. According to some resources that I read, you should expect more than $1k for a somewhat-complex contract.

Try to deploy it on a private node and then calculate how much you spent there, the cost should be similar or more if you deploy it on the mainnet.
3351  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitwala lost the mind wtf on: February 11, 2021, 08:18:31 AM
Does your transaction come from a mixer or something? Why do they believe it violates their rules? I don't think just making a 2500 EUR transaction violates their rules.

Can't say much about the KYC thing unless there is a legal change in how companies handle those data. At the time of writing, customers have little to no control over it. So yeah it sucks. Nearly all companies act like them.
3352  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Apakah Tahun Ini Uniswap Akan Memberikan Airdrop Kembali? on: February 11, 2021, 08:04:15 AM

3353  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Couple of Blockchain.info issues/questions on: February 10, 2021, 12:28:05 PM
I am going to keep my Blockchain wallet for now to do things like claim Bitcoin Gold (for all it is worth) and just have another wallet should the need arise.
You mean you will keep your coins there? I don't think that's a good idea. You can sweep your coins to another address/wallet right now. There is no need to keep your Bitcoin on that address to claim the airdrop, as long as you keep your private key.

3354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I get started with mining, when I don't need to pay electrical costs? on: February 10, 2021, 11:54:10 AM
You could buy a bunch of GPUs I guess. Take a look at https://whattomine.com/ and see it for yourself. Assuming your electricity cost is 0 I guess anything could be profitable. But your apartment manager will definitely find out. Don't know how much they'll charge you, but I don't think it is worth the risk. Staking might be better imo.
3355  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Klaim Token Governance Uniswap on: February 10, 2021, 11:44:25 AM
3356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Energy Consumption Future Plans/Thoughts on: February 10, 2021, 11:33:10 AM
As far as I can remember, there is no plan to change the consensus. Even without any organization, miners would naturally look for cheaper energy source, and when or if renewable energy become easy to access, they'd use it. On top of that, mining rigs are improving and become more efficient, like any other technology. I won't be surprised if we see a higher hash rate in the future with the same power or even less power than today.
3357  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sending TrustToken (TWT) from Binance Smart Chain Wallet help on: February 09, 2021, 01:06:44 PM
If you don't mind having some little trouble, I guess you could try using MetaMask to manage your Binance Smart Chain tokens. There's a guide on how to do that (since Binance Smart Chain is basically a fork of ETH): https://docs.binance.org/smart-chain/wallet/metamask.html.

But I guess using another wallet like SafePal or TrustWallet would be preferable. Hopefully, you can access a phone that supports those wallets soon.
3358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE ACCEPTED AS A MEANS OF TRANSACTION IN THE WORLD on: February 09, 2021, 12:19:26 PM
AS  there are only 21 million Bitcoins that can be mined in total and currently, around 18.5 million Bitcoins have been mined.in contrast to legal tender of various countries which has no limit of the quantity that can be printed, I believe Bitcoin to be used for transactions purpose, has it's limits, in essence legal tender will still have upper hands for transactions purpose.
I don't really see the problem, especially when you can divide 1 BTC to 0.1, 0.001, 0.00001, or even 1 sats. Since there is no 'inflation', the purchasing power would theoretically be the same (or at least similar), unless we still peg the prices to fiat.

Anyway, even if we do get that problem (where 1 sats is worth more than 1$), we can simply find new solutions. Like 2nd layer with pegged tokens, for example.
3359  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple Crypto: Master Bitcoin - Easy introduction to Bitcoin for everyone on: February 09, 2021, 11:53:45 AM

Agree. I personally don't want to download anything (especially apps) to learn new things. I think an interactive website is much more appealing, and the risk is lower for the users since they don't have to install and download an app.

I don't know when exactly you start on cryptocurrency, but I believe we have a lot of sources to learn it online right now. Anyone who wanted to learn about crypto would probably use Google and find those articles instead of looking for an app.

So yeah, would be cool if you either add the web version.
