What do the names under balance represent? Names of members of a specific rank that are currently online?

Yes. I embodied the wishes from acroman08 "to show the list of names of who's online"

Are these live statistics? Where do you get your data from?

By the way, this is an interesting project. Too bad it's made on the trading UI, I hope you'll work on it more.
3342  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] moonlitex.com giveaway on: April 03, 2021, 07:34:03 PM
If anyone has some additional info on them or proof of how much you would need to send to them first, please post.

I believe this is just another in a series of scam exchanges based on a clone of the WhiteBit exchange website. Many of them have already been reported in this thread started by dkbit98, but new domains with the same template and MO appear from time to time.
3343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we crowdfund a movie about Satoshi Nakamoto? on: April 03, 2021, 05:43:21 PM
I think we should take bitcoin/crypto marketing to the next level and motivate all bitcoin and crypto friends to crowdfund a movie about Satoshi Nakamoto.

This is not something I agree with. Satoshi Nakamoto has more than enough money (bitcoins) to finance his own goddamn movie, in my opinion.  Cheesy

- 3rd Best Crypto - BNB
While I agree with the vision of CZ to manipulate/control the crypto space, I have to disagree that BNB in no way is the 3rd best crypto. BNB price is heavily manipulated and none of other use, Binabce chain is a direct copycat of the ETH chain.
So, how can it be the 3rd best crypto project? Mcap should never be an indication of how good/bad a project is.

By the way, you missed to mention coinmarketcap, Binance now also owns coinmarketcap.com

I have to agree with this. BNB has made no other innovation than to copy a very well working concept. Not saying that it is worse, but only saying that is is the best copycat. The price is heavily influenced by blatant market manipulation. Pure pump coin so when BNB market cap is inflated by 10x, people believe it is worth more.

That being said, I think that BNB has a good future, at least I will trade on its rise.

3346  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reliable Telegram groups? on: April 03, 2021, 01:26:35 PM
Do you recommend some good channels either for technical analysis or just for good signals?

While technical analysis is more of a middle ground when it comes to your investments, the good news is that there are a number of outstanding and proven technical analysis services available in the market today. What I find most helpful in both the cases of software and platforms is to go through them regularly and make an educated decision.

Don't just rely on the tipsters' opinions. There are some excellent services and books out there. It's your decision, but one thing I have learned is that in an ever changing market, remember to be alert and focused at all times.
3347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the institutional coin on: April 03, 2021, 01:02:26 PM
I see bitcoin becoming an institutional coin in the nearest future.

Bitcoin is a useful tool for everyday consumers and entrepreneurs who might not be able to access the traditional banking system easily, and it's a potential alternative to traditional currencies, money transfer and payment services. It is not only a "cryptocurrency," but also a "digital currency" with equal standing in any segment of "traditional currencies."

In the future, I believe we will see more institutions and countries embrace digital currencies.
3348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: April 03, 2021, 08:28:14 AM
Very bullish news for bitcoin 🚀. Adaption is here, after Elon's announcement not only a few days after Paypal also release news that they opened crypto payments in 29M merchants. Bitcoin is getting stronger and now more institutions are using bitcoin for their businesses. Let's keep holding!

I still recommend Bitcoin to all my friends, customers and family. In my opinion, some of the risks holding bitcoin on a long term perspective has decreased in the past few months. All around the world, financial institutions are going for blockchain technology and accepting Bitcoin as a trustworthy payment method for their products. Guessing PayPal could also adapt this strategy and start to offer wallets to merchants.

I want to use this opportunity to hail and thank crypto investors you are brave enough to buy at the top of the market...

Just tell me one thing, how do you define the top of the market? Does that mean the market has peaked and won't go up anymore? How can you say that for sure?

I think it would be foolish to say something like that.
3350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you start? on: April 01, 2021, 07:41:20 PM
how long have you been in the gambling world and where did you start - in crypto casino, in a fiat online casino or in a land based casino?

I started not long ago at an online crypto casino. If I recall right, there was a competition on this forum during which I was fortunate enough to win a bonus. Since then, I've continued playing for pure entertainment.

Unfortunately, I never won a significant sum but I'm not a big gambler so I haven't lost too much.

I understand what you are telling me and we had considered that being an open source project we are not appropriating any aspect that we consider rights of use or creation.
<cut>

It is always wrong to claim someone else's work as your own. If it's open source, it'll come with a license. The license defines what you can and cannot do with it. The fact that it is open source does not give you the right to claim it. This is, in most cases, a copyright infringement as well as a license violation.

There are proper ways to use other people's work, you just need to give credit to the ones who made the original work.

We ask that you rectify your accusation of fraud, which is unfounded. Kind regards and in a couple of hours you will be able to download the new version of our whitepaper.

What do you mean by "unfounded"? qwertyup23 opened the flag against your account based on the facts and evidence presented in the reference topic. There is nothing unfounded about it and it is up to the members of this community to decide whether to support the flag or not. You are welcome to challenge the evidence presented there.
3352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Damn, I should've bought bitcoin earlier! on: March 29, 2021, 10:09:48 AM
Let me fix that tweet for you:

Damn, I should've bought bitcoin earlier!
Might as well buy it now, I guess.

 Cheesy

I've seen a lot of this kind of behavior lately and that's why it’s wise for anyone considering buying bitcoin not to wait too long.
3353  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ Paradice.in | 🍀 Provably Fair 🎲 | Rain☔| 30 sec Faucet | 1% House Edge on: March 28, 2021, 10:03:37 PM
As Cratoon Said, if You deposited at least $100, it would be different story.

As I've said before, this is not the first case for paradice but I'm sure you already know that. You just chose to ignore it.

And if you deposit, there is no guarantee that Cratoon will follow through with the agreement and will not accuse you of faucet abuse if he so chooses. If faucet poses such a problem to him, why hasn't he removed it from the site completely? If a faucet is just for testing purposes, why doesn't he use play money instead of real money?
3354  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] WitLink - Fake Team on: March 28, 2021, 07:59:18 PM
Yes, I agree. All these images from their team are fake AI-generated images that can easily be detected by artefacts and distorted backgrounds.
I noticed Jaian Cuttari as their advisor who was involved in many scam and defunct projects. His photo, though extensively altered and mutilated for reasons unknown, is probably the only true one on the website.

3355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Efforts of holding wasted on: March 28, 2021, 04:36:34 PM
It's always wise to hold only very popular coins for future sake like the period we are in presently, not all altcoins will pump and give you a thousand dollar gain or more, if I've spent my time to gather top altcoins I would be in happy mood right now

That's right, not all altcoins will pump and give you a high dollar gain. As a result, you should only accumulate in coins that you are familiar with and believe have a promising future. Because there are many coins that have failed and become worthless.
Many people do not have a long time frame when it comes to investing. It's rare that people are willing to hold coins for over 3-5 years. So if you are holding for over 3-5 years, it's better to trade altcoins and invest in more familiar coins with established infrastructure. Do your research and make sure you're not investing in a pump and dump coins.
3356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Madness/Insanity in sports betting/gambling on: March 28, 2021, 04:20:54 PM
What are your thoughts on these trend of mad or insane people running predictions for sane persons. It feels unreasonable but, its happening and most times in underdeveloped nations.

So you're telling me this is an actual thing? Personally, I've never heard of anything like this before. In a game of chance, the probability of a insane person predicting a result is essentially the same as the probability of flipping a coin or dice to foresee the outcome. Causality does not exist in a game of chance.

Paranoid people, being prone to delusional thinking, have a much greater predisposition to insane gambling.
3357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 28, 2021, 03:57:56 PM
We should always protect our children from this because once they start gambling at a young age, they will learn a lifelong habit that could destroy their lives. Plus, it's a fact that children who gamble at an early age could develop a second problem: gambling addiction.
I know first hand how damaging this can be to the mind of a child and if you have ever been the victim of such, you would be as well. Parents, this means we have to be a part of the solution. We need to teach our children to be cognizant of their actions and to understand and accept responsibility for them.
3358  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seuntjies DiceBot -Multi-Site, multi-strategy betting bot for dice. With Charts! on: March 28, 2021, 02:01:33 PM
Hi Seuntjies. I have a question on dicebot variable in advanced setting mode.

Let said the bot stop due to profit made, then i reset manually on the stat and the graph chart is enough to stop the bot from multiply from the previous winning?

Thanks

I don't think graph chart has anything to do with the bot settings. Why don't you show us what settings you used in dicebot's advanced settings mod? It will make it easier to pinpoint the exact issue.

3359  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ Paradice.in | 🍀 Provably Fair 🎲 | Rain☔| 30 sec Faucet | 1% House Edge 💰| on: March 28, 2021, 01:48:42 PM
If they can't give his full winnings, they need to settle it amicably as this person will not stop bothering them about this case.
They need to move on with this mistake. And learn from it.

I'm wondering if they would pay any significant winnings at all. What if somebody made a tiny deposit and won the jackpot?
When I did a little research, I see that this is not their first case of such suspicious behavior towards players.

Paradice.im SCAM accusation

Although in the title of that topic is the domain 'paradice.im', user Cratoon continued to accuse the player of faucet abuse similar to this case, which confirms that it is their casino.

I think casinos have the right to allow, or reject, withdraw from Faucet.

Of course they do, but then it should be clearly defined in ther ToS.

Then again, how do you explain this kind of promotion?

3360  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Paradice.in fraud accusation on: March 26, 2021, 11:21:48 PM
Once again. There was a faucet abuse. Casino management decided to reject this payment in conformity with our TOS. This is the final decision, and it is not a subject to change.

I would still like to hear what kind of abuse is that actually about?
Did he break any company's terms of use? Which ones?
Did he use a bot or multiple accounts? Was there a bug or a glitch on the website?

I'm sure a lot of the potential players would like to know that so they don't end up in the same situation.
