3342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 22, 2021, 12:45:51 AM
...and would Maldrid end the season at the top of the league?
The distance in terms of points between the top four teams in the la liga is very slim, it will take an intentional act of good football that is maintaining a winning streak and for teams like Real Soceidad, Sevilla and Athletico Madrid to drop points for Real Madrid to stay top in the table. Luka Modric was fantastic with the ball as usual, an addition of players like Mbappe and Haaland to this Real Madrid team, and they will definitely be an upset to any team they meet.

Despite the challenges that bitcoin and cryptocurrency is facing in other parts of the world,  It's really great to see that in a country like El Salvador, they are making advances at integrating bitcoin into domestic life and use. I like the fact that the president is an Innovative pioneer thinker not afraid to start /try out something new. The people of El Salvador will come to appreciate his efforts towards advancing them in the years to come.

Mohamed Salah's contribution was extraordinary for Liverpool, he became a goal machine for Liverpool. I also agree with you, Chelsea and Roma where
they have sold Salah must be regret, Mohamed Salah was not given much playing time at Chelsea. Even Chelsea had loaned Salah to Fiorentina and after
that sold him to Roma. Now with Liverpool Salah has shown the world that he is one of the greatest strikers.

You know there is a possibility that Salah may not have achieved prime performance like we are seeing now if he had kept play for Chelsea or Roma. There is something about a player being comfortable at a club and loved/respected by all both fans and teammates, it is natural to bring out the best performance in you, and i believe it is what we are seeing with Salah.

Hopefully Liverpool can extend Salah's
contract soon, because it will be very detrimental to Liverpool if they lose Salah.
If they don't, it's Liverpool's loss then because if they don't take him seriously, I am certain that there are other top teams that will swing in to give him a contract at their club for him to play for them.
3345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 21, 2021, 11:03:09 PM
IMO, i don't think it will be completely possible to get rid of cryptocurrency scams as scammers are becoming smarter by the day and devising new means and methods of swindling cryptocurrency from users. What can be done however is massive awareness and sensitisation that can help reduce the number of people that these scammers turn to victims. As a user, do proper research also and invest only in projects that are known.

Great way for Conte to start his campaign with Tottenham Hotspur , although the win shouldn't be much celebrated as leeds were just an unlucky tonight, the Tottenham side still has a lot of midfield problems that need solving especially with their injury challenges and it is something for the new coach to look towards solving quickly.

Sterling managed to score late in the first half and it was the first goal of the game today.
Cancelo's assist for Sterling has to be the assist of the season, i Don't think we will see another pass or assist as good as that this season. To think he is just a left back is a disguise because he has made better passes and assist this season in the EPL than some midfielders. I tip Manchester city to get more goals.
3348  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sedated Biden is Unfit to be President on: November 21, 2021, 12:51:29 PM
I thought it was an obvious thing that if the president is temporaly un-available to take care of the country, the vice-president usually does it.
Exactly, that's why there is a vice for situations like this.
is it because the Vice-president is a woman?
Or because she smokes pot perhaps could be OP's issue. Can't say much about the situation in the United States, i'm not from there, but i am certain that there are other countries with Presidents that have health concerns like my country. If general opinion is that he is unfit for office, then the solution is to get him out of office in the next general election.
3349  Economy / Economics / Re: People tend not to move on: November 21, 2021, 12:14:09 PM
There are categories of people, those who like to explore and adventure to new places to start afresh, while a category that don't share same resolve about moving around. However i feel a move is usually prompted by something say, search for better opportunities, education, crisis etc and people do not just move from places of their birth without good reason.

Regarding MU coaches i recently find some news on my local site that there was 5 strong candidates coaches as the replacement of Ole Gunnar

Julen Lopetegui
Brendan Rodgers
Erik Ten Hag
Zenedine zidane
Laurent Blanc

just wondering which one the stronger candidates as the next coach but seems most people said Zidane were suitable to fix MU performance

Zidane is the best candidate for me IMHO, considering that he is tactically smart and has managed a star studded team before with CR7 in his squad. He should be able to bring the best out of the players in MUFC and also win them a title, maybe not this season anymore, but subsequently.

This matta com remind me of something wey happen for my area for Lasgidi so many years ago. The short story be sey somebodi wey dey owe one fishseller money bin give d fishseller pikin d money to give im mama but the girl nor deliver d money to her mama. She just die d money. Even when argument com for d matta she still deny am sey nobody give am money to give to her mama and her mama stood by her, saying she trust her pikin. Sey if to sey dat woman truly give d pikin d money sey d pikin for deliver am to her. She com swell on top sey if to sey her debtor truly give her pikin d money, make she (fishseller) die. Na so d matta end there oh. Like play like play, few weeks later d fishseller died.
Eweeeeeeeeeeew! nor be small thing ooo:o na so the woman take die for yeye matter ooo, how much be the money sef....na wa, i wonder how the girl go fit leave with herself for causing the death of her mother.

To raise everybody morale for the house, make i drop one wisdom.

Proverb: You nor fit play ball for 90minutes say ball nor go touch your leg once.

Meaning: Your consistency will pay you, don't quit if you get unlucky a few times.
3352  Other / Off-topic / A measure of the degree of attachment to sport teams. on: November 21, 2021, 06:21:12 AM
My friend's football team performed so poorly that he was very disappointed to the point he uttered out loud that he was no longer a supporter of the team. The next statement was -"Chelsea! for life", (a statement that is commonly used in my locale to show that you support a team), that is he is now a supporter of Chelsea FC.

The situation doesn't seem as much, but on a second thought, the question of the attachments to the club we support came up.

How attached are you to the sport team you support? Do you have club tokens, Jerseys and all that to show that you really love a team or your support is just by mouth like my friend that you can easily just dump your team and switch to another team with just an utterance.

At least, gradually Xavi can bring back the nature of Barcelona game, ball possession with high initiative to in attacking.
Good thing is Xavi was a key part of one of the best if not the best Barcelona teams that have existed and hopefully he should be able to remould the Barcelona team to standard again in short time from the performance we saw today. The players love him and played really well to ensure that his first game under management did not end in a defeat. A win is a great way to start, it is such a morale booster.

I don't think the board will want to continue with ole after the hammering by Watford.

All MUFC supporters are expecting the news of Ole's sack tonight, if the board cannot give them that and are still considering giving him a chance, then the board members should be the next people in consideration for removal,  everyone can see that the coach is not good for the team. I'm really exhausted still talking about Ole's removal.
3355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: November 20, 2021, 02:47:20 PM

Chelsea is getting stronger at the top of the premier league standings.

Really the Chelsea side is proving that they are keen on clinching the EPL title this season with such a wonderful performance against Leicester. I wasn't expecting three goals, i expected Leicester to put a bit more pressure considering that they were home, but as soon as the first goal came, it seemed over for them. The fact that this very poor performing Leicester team could win MUFC in the fixture they had this season is evidence still that MUFC is terrible under Ole. Great performance from Chelsea.

kick off time finally after waiting for so long for this weekends clash of Premier League football. first game is between Leicester and Chelsea and it's my sincere desire that Leicester though they have not been super this season, can make full use of the home advantage and either get a draw with Chelsea or better still claim all three points to reduce Chelsea's lead on the EPL table.

The Ausburg-Bayern game has really torn some betting slips and rendered them useless. A friend of mine who bet big on Bayern to win considering that Ausburg was 16th on the bundesliga table is devastated that Bayern did not and his money is gone. Who could have thought so??? Big tip for anyone betting on today's games, during your analysis of who to bet on, remember that players just came back from the international break and anything can happen.
3358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 19, 2021, 08:14:49 PM
Bayern is already having 13 points over Borussia so I think the Championship in Germany is already over as I simply cannot see Bayern to lose the title anymore so I guess they can afford to lose against Augsburg.

I know all teams at one point experience defeat in football, so i can't say i am too surprised at this result so far, however could there be a possibility that this bayern team are just deciding to give away this game to help the Ausburg side, else why are they not showing any hunger to win like the Bayern we know. Can they really bounce back from the result, come from behind and maybe get a draw or win eventually?
3359  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and non-formal workers on: November 19, 2021, 03:09:24 AM
I guess OP has drawn rough analysis from the people around him, and i can quiet say that the same is the case for individuals around me as well, that is the bulk of individuals with an interest in bitcoin and cryptocurrency are those not necessarily without a formal education, but those without formal high paying jobs. There is a high rate of unemployment and poverty in my country, people have been forced to become entrepreneurs and small business owners, the money realised sometimes from business and entrepreneurship may not be sufficient to create the dream life that one dreams of, so there is the motivation to seek for more opportunities, and bitcoin creates such to level the playing field with those that have high paying formal jobs who already have a better life, and not necessarily considering or seeking opportunities elsewhere.

There is also another perspective to view this, that is you will have less formal office people in bitcoin trading particularly because the job they already have steals their time, and they may not have the time to monitor the market.
3360  Economy / Economics / Fiat banks and the government. on: November 19, 2021, 01:24:19 AM
A recent situation in my country where the banks have been instructed to block accounts related/associated with crypto trading has prompted me to start thinking if these banks are actually happy carrying out government policies against their customers, because some of them seem not too happy about it but look to have little or no choice on the matter.

Can the banks challenge the policies from the government? Are the banks working for the people or the government? is there any possibility that banks can operate freely entirely from government policies?
