3341  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: January 17, 2017, 06:35:39 PM
Technology is not always a good thing.

One example is with the children.
In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.

They are playing with their friends still just not outside. Ever heard of multiplayer games?

Well I guess they do. But still it feels really different from the way childhood supposed to be.

If that's the wrost technology gives us, that's awesome!

Ever heard of Ozone holes, though?

Wonderful news! Close to a hundred invaders perished, while trying to invade the European continent. These guys must have stayed at home, rather than spending $10,000 to $15,000 in purchasing one-way tickets to Europe.

What is money if you are living in hell. Libya is in a hellish condition with the poor having no worth and constant wars with food shortage everywhere then you will surely risk your life to get to somewhere else where you can find peace of heart and mind. If I were them I will also do the same, if only peace condition is good and the food is not scarce then they will no longer dream of going out of the country.

Or fight for change instead of expecting us to give them everything and fight their wars

Do you know that very few of these immigrants are Libyan nationals? Most of them are from the Sub Saharan African nations such as Burkina Faso, Ghana, Ethiopia, and Uganda, where there is no civil war or unrest.

Well, I can understand this

But grown men running away from war leaving children and women defnseless against attackers?
That, I also understand  Cheesy

Don't forget Sudan and Eritrea. I've seen a German interview with a migrant from Eritrea, where he said that in his country when a woman is seen walking alone in the street at night she can be assaulted, because only whores who look for a man are alone at night. We should celebrate every time their boat finds its way to the bottom of the sea.

I understand your point, however, there are still children on that boat who have no idea what's going on, and are there only because their parents brought them with themselves  Angry

I'm just saying that you're barely humans

Yes! they should have stayed at home while OUR ARMIES are bombing the shit out of them after OUR COUNTRIES AND GOVERNMENTS destabilized entire regions of the world...
You're the kind of people saying USA should have never helped Europe in WW2 I guess no?

3343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what will happen for all bets , if match draw !! on: January 17, 2017, 06:19:43 PM
Just checked what is condition for events when match get postponed or abandoned during play (For soccer) in directbet
https://www.directbet.eu/Rules.cshtml
Quote
If a match starts but is later abandoned or postponed and DirectBet believes that the match will not have been completed by 23:59 (local time) on its scheduled start date, then all bets, with the exception of any unconditionally determined bets, will be void unless DirectBet has knowledge that the match has been rescheduled to be played within three days of its original start date.

Void means you will get refund

What if there are multiple pairs on your slip?

They just take away this one and deacrease the winnings?

I'd be pretty pissed if I get refunded for everything and my slip won  Cheesy

Atheism is just an intellectual maturity beyond imagination.

Hello,

This was one of the best, shortest and funniest explanations.

Kind Regards,

Atheism is just an attempt at maturity without intellectuality.    Cool

Where did you get the conclusion from?

I preferr agnosticism

However, you provide data that would improve the status of theism
But not of Christianity or any other religion, since the data you provided has nothing to do with the things you keep clamining are the "truth" from the Bible, there is nothing you can say to connect the Bible with a deity, the Bible, Quran, Torah etc. are written by people

And just because you rationalize it to be "written by Gods hand" has nothing to do with truth, or evidence

If you were a theist, you might convert some people, this way you just seem crazy
3346  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 85.000 copies of Mein Kampf sold in Germany in 2016 on: January 15, 2017, 04:00:30 PM
It was expected. When the refugees are ready to work for €2 per hour, who will hire the native workers? These immigrants never pay any taxes, and their expenses are close to zero, as most of them are single men. On the other hand, it is not possible for the native adults to work for €2 per hour, as they have families to look after.

I know Germany has a minimum wage, so what is the next step?
The next step would to ask yourself: between a migrant just wanting to work and feed himself and his family thus accepting illegal work for 2€/hour, and a company willingly breaking the law by employing migrants under minimum wage, who is to blame?

I'd say the company is more to be blamed.

For the situation in Germany, workers are very close to slaves. It's a choice between social rights and money yes, but my problem is that whole Europe and even whole world is saying Germany is "a model". No it is not. It has lots of problems, maybe a bit less than us but it's far from being perfect!!!

In this era of fierce competition, companies are forced to resort to illegal methods in order to survive. A company which employs legal workers at 25€/hour will not be able to compete against someone who employs the immigrants at 2€/hour.

It is not the companies fault either, you should expect everyone to use anything they can in their own advantage

Blame yourself for not having regular inspections and sanctions for those breaking the law

It is your own fault, no one elses

That's what I always say to my fellow countrymen when they complain about the status of our country, it's the countries fault, they say

I say, no, my friend
It's your own fault, have you not voted for the same 2 parties that wreck our country and bring havoc to it for the last 20 years?
Have you not repeated your own mistakes all over again and voted for the same people who brought our GDP down the drain again and again, and you as a sheep keep voting for them and then complain "The country is fucked up", no, my friend, it is you who is fucked up, and you who fucked up our country

It is our own fault for everything the goverment does
Our own
And no one elses
Because WE chose them, and we ignored their mistakes and picked them to rule all over again

I'v gotten a little off-topic, but it's basically the same principle

It's not the companies or the migrants fault, it is Germany
Who must enforce the law, and not allow it to be broken
Which is currently happening..

The solution would to be to increase inspections and penalties on companies employing illegal work force
3348  Other / Off-topic / Re: 6 RULES TO SUCCESS ! on: January 13, 2017, 06:35:45 PM
I don't think that it have rules of the very well defined success there as you say it but that these rules
vary from a person to the other one. Because if these rules were defined well there would be that has to apply them and the success would be assured.

The problem is most people can't follow these guidelines

Work hard is the hardest part  Smiley

Of course, working hard for example on a phsyical job won't bring fame and glory xD
3349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: January 13, 2017, 06:21:24 PM
When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?

To stop in gambling this will depend to the people who'd like to quit at once, meaning there is no limitations, were anytime or anyone can decide instantly. Because there to types of gambler one there is a gambler who are greedy, second there is a gambler doing it just for fun they don't care whether they loss big amount of money.

What I see a lot is that High Rollers mostly are good players but way too greedy. They make a nice profit within a few minutes and losing all within a few bets because they just wanted too much. Or maybe they just dont have a Withdraw button or such thing.

I saw it too especially at pd. When some highrollers already got a good profit that most people wont get it, they keep betting and lose all. I saw only few people that able to make the right decision, stop while ahead to continue again the other day. Greedy gives a big bad impact to gambler's mind!

You know when to stop only if you set limits before you start gambling
If you don't, greed will not let you stop, and will bring profit to the casino owners  Smiley

This is the race to zero I highlighted a while back.

Finding a way to keep a diminishing percentage always going back to the original seeder is the solution.

It ends up being like MLM selling, which effectively makes the original seeder tons of money, but also everyone inbetween.  It also serves to get people to promote vTorrent.

The original seeder could be the rights holder.

It's actually not a bad idea, a very smart solution

However, not for the mainstream audience

It should be good for smaller publishers  Smiley
3356  Other / Politics & Society / Re: After death on: January 08, 2017, 09:28:01 PM
I believe that you re-incarnate after death. As another person not an animal. There is evidence of this if you do some research on youtube. People telling about their past lives. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=past+life+stories
When people talk about their past lives is not to say that it's true. If the person is a fan of this idea that his sick imagination can paint a very real picture. People can't tell the difference between imagination and reality.

Come on, seriously

Are my posts bloody invisible or are people just ignoring them

What about Ian Stevenson and his 2500 children?

Not that I believe in it, but it makes me consider it

3359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: January 08, 2017, 05:30:58 PM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?

It will actually work like this for me, the issue of having enough money from gambling is probably not a possibility and since money cannot be enough even the richest still go after more money, so I will still gamble. And for the question of gambling for profit or fun, if I want to have fun, I know where to go to and its not gambling or what is the fun is losing my money which probably take more energy to gather than losing in the first place.

You usually gamble to acquire some coins to use for shit

It's true you can never have enough money

But if 'money would not be a problem' is true, then you would have no need to gamble

Since 'money is not a problem'  Cheesy

Bitcoin + Monero + BitTorrent + ShadowMarket

Can use as BitTorrent without crypto; or

Can use as crypto without BitTorrent; or

Can use BitTorrent with crypto.

Got a file you want to share and charge for? Put it into BiTorrent section, then charge for bandwidth.

Got some sort of desire to share for nothing? Put it into BitTorrent section, and don't charge. Maybe ask for donations.

etc.

Am I able to download shit from thepiratebay and just seed it on vTorrent and earn coins?  Cheesy
Not if the people that uploaded on piratebay do it first! xD

Actually this could be a big problem, whats to stop one person from downloading a paid torrent, then distributing it for free?

The way I picture this happening is this:

1. Person A initially uploads File A at a fixed price of 1TOKEN
2. Person B pays Person A 1TOKEN for the download, then does one of two things.
3a. Person B allows others to upload File A and shares profit with person A.
3b. Person B modifies File A to become File B and uploads File B at a fixed price of 1/2TOKEN.

If people chose 3b whenever they get a file, the price of that file will trend towards free which to be fair, after a long enough period of time, a file should become public domain and thus free (but that's just my opinion).

To combat against this, I thought a good way of combating the problem would be to:

1. Set a time limit that states after X amount of time, the file becomes public domain and free to download.
2. Allow the user to set a cap on how much money they want to make before the file becomes public domain.

Just a thought Smiley

-Pickle

What happens when Person C downloads the file?

He uploads it for 1/4 TOKEN?

This could proceed to infinity and no one would download from the original uploader  Cheesy
