what about the sending it to another account xD that IS failsafe!

No, it just ensures Paypal will get very very angry with you, which is not something you want to happen, because they'll utterly destroy your credit scoring.
3342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hey Der! Ma Names BTC4PPGBP! on: February 05, 2013, 08:28:20 PM
i get this via bank transfer and i have a method to ensure i wont get scammed.

Have fun getting scammed.
two paypal accounts get money in account 1 send bitcoins send money from account 1 to account 2. DIGAS? nope! plus i'll get them to send the payment as a gift and with a note saying i have received my online goods and i will not chargeback under any circumstances

Been there, seen that, people got scammed.
3343  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "Account has insufficient funds" message but there are enough funds on: February 05, 2013, 08:27:01 PM
You have 0.00148702 BTC in that account and are trying to send out 0.001 BTC. This would suffice were it not for the transaction fee of 0.0005.

Thanks

I understood from reading something somewhere (I'm quite new and I can not remember where I read everything) that transactions can be made without fees, and they just will delay more than if made with fees. Am I wrong?

That's correct in theory. However bitcoin-qt enforces a mandatory "voluntary fee" of 0.0005 for a transaction. You'd need to use another client to avoid that.

Looks like gyrsur has bumped your balance up to the necessary amount.

As usual, you are an idiot, greyhawk.  Do you even try to make posts that fit reality or do you just post shit to see what you can get away with?  Are you trying to take PuertoRetard and CreativeIdiot's place in the top dumbasses of BitcoinTalk?

Our biggest hold up right now is the bumping and we have that taken care of, but we are trying to get that expedited and shave some days off (hopefully up to 7 days! Probably not that much though.). I'm waiting to hear back with regards to the expedite request and if they can speed thing up before I post the timeline, as it will affect it by up to five days depending on the outcome of that.

If you're not trying to shave off 7 days off the 2 days in bumping, maybe learn how to write better?  Huh

What is the latest forecast timeline for BFL now?

It is subject to change, because Josh is trying to knock off 7 days off the 2 day projected bumping process.  Cool

This is a third one for sure.
Except that picture is suspiciously similar in layout to an unseen picture mentioned a week ago ...

The same chair was used as in the pictures from the Avalon website.

Pics are not from a third party.

I don't know. The first 5 pics are obviously in house promo shots. The last two pics look to be taken with a different camera at a different location .

So that's from Wu Zhang himself or has a 3rd Avalon arrived?

Wait, where is that from?

Your "art" has damaged my eyes beyond repair.

Please deposit 10000 BTC at the adress below to pay for my upcoming voyage around the globe to find a witch doctor capable of healing these injuries by magicks and thaumaturgy.

The trust of the community. This is who you're calling a thief. The most trusted guy in BTC next to Satoshi. Hell, there's a non-small chance he might BE Satoshi.
3354  Other / Meta / Re: 2013-02-02 Page views number wrong? on: February 04, 2013, 03:26:48 AM
Change of webservers shouldn't have an  effect on pageviews. More likely this is related to the reorg Theymos did concerning the way smf handles avatars. Before each avatar ti be displayed enforced another page call. This has been eliminated now. The new numbers should thus be closer to reality.

I think it's extremely funny he has Crowleys "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole if the law." in his avatar.

Not so great a concept anymore when it's other people doing what they want, eh?

This is totally OT, but if you know Crowley, you know that's not what the phrase means. It means you decide how you respond to temptation is up to you, not that you can do whatever you want. It was a response to the hypocritcal morality of 19th century England, not online sales practices.

Sure, but that's not how people use it anymore. It has become a creed for "doing whatever the hell I want"

3358  Other / Off-topic / Re: My iPod touch 4th gen went through the washer. on: February 03, 2013, 03:45:53 PM
You guys need to learn how to wash your clothes. You need to turn your pants inside out before you put them in the washing machine. This keeps the colour intact and will keep the zipper from destroying other clothes in the machine. While doing this you will also notice any gadget still stuck in the pockets.

You seem to have taken a wrong turn somewhere. This is a community of comic book villains intent on either ruling or destroying earth. You will find no support for your environmentalism here, Captain Planet.

Uh....what is this? I don't even...

It's a sequel. Go watch Part 1. It's pretty good.

Superman 2 sucked balls.

Every Part 2 sucks balls. It's the even number curse.
