3341  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My innosilicon T3 arrived today, the pool settings will not update, solutions? on: March 10, 2022, 10:39:41 PM
I have been holding my investment for months because they sold me locked miners and nobody is in charge, if someone could provide me with an unlocking firmware I would greatly appreciate it. My miners are model T2Thf+ and T2Thl+ thanks

Why did you buy a miner from 3rd party without support? Always do deal only with authorized resellers or directly to the manufacturer dealing with unauthorized resellers do not give you proper support.

There are lots of Innosilicon users here who experienced the same thing and most of them never solved their issue. Only Innosilicon support can provide you unlock firmware if you bought the miner directly from them.

Actually, those 2 unit models are SOC or secured firmware you can't just upgrade it with an unsigned firmware.

Anyway, would you mind trying the firmware posted here https://github.com/mekas17/fw
3342  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Hardware wallet vs software wallet for daily transaction on: March 10, 2022, 03:08:33 PM
It all depends on how you protect your device.
If you know how to protect your wallet then Electrum should be enough for daily use but if you are a beginner and want an extra security layer then you must use a hardware wallet and hardware wallets like ledger nano support more coins than Electrum which only supports BTC.

Like Falconer said better remove the suspicious link you are helping the domain to get backlink here. You can just use the insert tag and paste the link there.

Anyway, I tried to access the link and try to log in with a fake password, and after I log in it redirected me to this link below.

Does it seem that he also targetting other users listed on that link?

I also check the domain it is registered on ownregistrar.com you can also report the domain if you want to take down the website link below.

3344  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Need help powering S19 off using cgminer API. on: March 09, 2022, 11:57:43 PM
does S19 use cgminer?
what is computer in S19?

Based on their Github base they use Cgminer.

What do you mean about the Computer in s19 are you talking about the controller or the firmware?

If you talking about the control board then they only have a unique control board that only works on both s19 and s19 pro. Check the link below what it looks like

3345  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: www.bitcou.com ??? on: March 09, 2022, 11:35:53 PM
In the meantime the vocher I wanted to buy is not even avaliable any more  Cheesy.
I wanted to purchase the ePay Mastercard topup voucher with Bitcoin. I have never seen this one for exchange with Crypto before.

Now I see what you looking for there is no crypto top-up site that offers ePay that's the only site that offers top-up with ePay.
I already check all topup or egift sites that accept crypto but there is no site that offers ePay.

Anyway, there is another way like using VCC which is easy to topup compared to ePay check this one https://paywithmoon.com/
You can anytime topup directly with your Bitcoin or other altcoins. They don't work with Amazon but it works on other sites.
3346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Update on my hardware store which accepts Bitcoin on: March 09, 2022, 10:59:22 PM
Well, your customers don't know much about Bitcoin that is why they treat BTC as an investment pyramid scheme or a scam.
I already experienced that thing in my friend of friends I don't have any referrals or referring them but those people told me that I'm promoting a pyramid scheme even I just told them about Bitcoin.

So for me, it's normal that we heard BTC as a scam investment they don't know actually what is Bitcoin there is no difference between accepting Paypal and accepting cryptocurrency. They are both the same but more people knows about Paypal than Bitcoin.
3347  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: recommendations on what to test before buying 2nd hand s9SE 17TH rigs on: March 09, 2022, 10:51:12 PM
Do you have any guide on teaching how to read the kernal log errors?

All guides are already on Bitmain you just need to search a little bit to find them.

Anyway, check these links below

- 【For S9series】Common problems indicated by miner's kernel log and ways to resolve them
- 【For S17series】Common problems indicated by miner's kernel log and ways to resolve them

It's not complete but it still can help you to troubleshoot the problem through kernel logs.
3348  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: cannot restore wallet from seed on: March 08, 2022, 11:44:56 PM
It happened in 2017 and I never used it since. Just wrote down the seed at the time.
Can't really remember details. I'm not sure about anything anymore.
I understand that the address that I sent btc to is not the same wallet I have seed from.
I just have no clue where I've got the legacy address I sent it to.
Seems like I will never find out anymore ;|
Thanks for help to all, anyway..

If it was created in 2017 you might install a fake Electrum wallet, 2017 was the year when many people were victims of phishing Electrum wallet.
Or you might be a victim of Clipboard malware but the only problem the address where you sent BTC to funds is still there.

Can you try to restore your wallet again make sure it was a legacy wallet and then look for xPub you can find it on Wallet>Information on the top left menu?

After you copy the xPub use this tool below and paste the xPub let's hope that it could scan the used address with balance if it detects anything with the same address or might be a different address with balance maybe your Electrum wallet is not syncing properly there are times that even the network in your Electrum is green ISP is blocking your Electrum from receiving data on the mainnet.

3349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for software or something wich recons the pattern on chart on: March 08, 2022, 10:57:47 PM
I think you are looking for automated signals like a falling wedge a bit of research on Google will point you to some tools like this tool below

And also this feeds below for Crypto

Or you might need a crypto technical analysis bot that automates any possible signals depending on how you set up the bot.

3350  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New Miner / solar energy on: March 08, 2022, 03:29:53 PM
The on-grid solar panel is what you need there are lots of guides about building an on-grid solar panel. Check the image below as a sample diagram.

Source: https://www.literoflightusa.org/solar-panel-diagrams/

That is the on-grid solar panel where you can switch between power from the battery to the town electricity source or vice versa.
Read and watch the video from the source above you will learn to build a solar panel. Off-grid is the easiest one compared to on-grid.

Also if you are planning to use solar panels for mining I'm sure it's costly you will need many solar panels and expensive inverters to support a miner with high power consumption.
3351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cleaning the money of support on: March 08, 2022, 02:59:44 PM
Actually, there is no best mixer but if you don't want someone to track your transaction then Chipmixer will give you the best because if you sent the BTC there you will receive chips which you can split and increase your anonymity and the BTC that you sent to Chipmixer will stay there and receive a clean BTC.

It means the transaction is being cut and ended on that transaction and the Chips that you receive are the new Coins that you can spend without worrying about anonymity and data leaks. Like the above said they do not save any data and it was already tested by many people here on the forum.
3352  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Temperature sensors for the Mining Box on: March 08, 2022, 02:16:07 PM
The Antminer itself has its own temp sensor why not use that instead of using other devices to sense temp?
Hashboard has 4 temp sensor and the ASIC chip also have its own temp sensor.

So I suggest you run a laptop or PC in the local network and install Awesomeminer and set the rules to detect any mining issues and automate the task link below
- https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000085907-rules-detect-mining-issues-and-automate-tasks

Then if you want to receive SMS or Telegram notifications you can check this
- https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000085912-notifications

Subscription is very cheap compared to buying a sensor to monitor the temp of your miner and send SMS notifications.
3353  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S17+_76T 0 ASIC ERROR on: March 08, 2022, 01:52:51 PM
The logs you posted above are stuck on Chain 0 there might be a problem on that hashboard you need to check it physically.

You can also try to remove the Chain 0 or the first hashboard and let the other two hashboard run without it.

But if you want to troubleshoot and repair the issue you can follow the guide from this link below.

3354  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Bitcoin purchase wasn't received. on: March 07, 2022, 11:57:59 PM
Are you fine running a wallet as a full node it always needs to be fully synced to see the updated wallet balance and it requires big space?

I'd like to suggest if you only use it for small transactions and not for holding Bitcoin you can use Electrum wallet but if it's for privacy purposes and for contributing to the network then stay using Bitcoin core.
3355  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to let a transaction expire if it is not included in a block. on: March 07, 2022, 11:41:39 PM
I don't think it's possible because if it's set to that certain date or blockheight it will trigger and will be broadcasted to the network I do not see if there is a way that time lock transaction can be expired or be canceled.

It can be only possible if you do it manually if the transaction is still unconfirmed on doing double spent to cancel the transaction but the expiration you talking about seems it's not possible.
3356  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Dragonmint T1 help on: March 07, 2022, 11:11:31 PM
Check carefully the guide here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2443327.msg55525315#msg55525315

How about running the miner with Braiins OS through an SD card? I already posted the link above on how to do it?

You don't need to flash the unit you just need to boot your miner through an SD card. Braiins OS currently do not have SD card firmware that can flash the NAND but you can boot Braiins OS through an SD card.
3357  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: cannot restore wallet from seed on: March 07, 2022, 10:53:30 PM
~snip~

That wallet is a legacy wallet so you should choose P2PKH when you are restoring your seed phrase.

To make sure that you own that address check the addresses tab you already guided above how to show up the addresses tab.

If you confirm that the address where you sent BTC to is in the addresses tab there are might be connection issues from your Electrum even it is a green circle it doesn't mean it's syncing properly that is why you can't see any transaction history in your wallet.
I heard that you can solve that case if you change your DNS to Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS.
3358  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Dragonmint T1 help on: March 06, 2022, 11:42:00 PM
Would you mind checking the controller physically if the board name is G19 because there is some firmware out there where you can flash the controller through TF Card? It might fix this issue.

Or you can try to flash it with Braiins OS but make sure to look for the controller unit model so that you can flash it with the right firmware.
You can find old firmware for g19 and g29 here https://feeds.braiins-os.org/

Then the guide on how to boot BraiinsOS through an SD
3359  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: recommendations on what to test before buying 2nd hand s9SE 17TH rigs on: March 06, 2022, 11:30:28 PM
I think 15 to 30 minutes would be enough to test the miner and a bit shake to check if there is a rattling sound inside the miner if you heard something inside there might be a loose heatsink that could lead to a short circuit.

Also, check the kernel logs you can see other issues and problems there then check the miner status if the miner is running without overheating and running with the right hashrate.
3360  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: www.bitcou.com ??? on: March 06, 2022, 11:10:00 PM
It seems a website that sells a gift card their English version does not work and yes their website does not redirect to https:// URL but if you add it you will access the secure website and according to SSL checker their certificate is valid until  June 14, 2022.

Anyway, I can't seem to find any reviews about this website and the owner of this website is no longer online here on the forum since December 04, 2020.
So, it's not safe to deal with them because they don't have active representatives or support.

I suggest you if you are planning to buy a gift card there are alternative websites check this list below
