3341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lightning Network will help bitcoin`s price reach 6,000 USD in November on: March 28, 2019, 10:05:05 PM
As what we see in the past 6 years. The price of bitcoin will increase this year and my estimate for the price will reach to 6,000 USD this November. And the reason behind is the booming of Lightning Network and the Lapps that base on LN.
I love the technology behind the lightning network in the bitcoin node through a lot of persons are against it because they see it as a way of centralizing the bitcoin blockchain which is against satoshi initial plan for bitcoin and crypto as a whole, but since we don't have a better method of solving the problem of scalability in the blockchain, then I think we have no choice than to accept lightning network until we can come up with something better to enable microtransactions on the blockchain and everyone making use of bitcoin can carry out transactions freely.
3342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Bull is in the Crypto Arena on: March 28, 2019, 09:17:53 PM
I am very much ready for the bull run we are going to see very soon in the crypto market, and I am very happy that I am not the only one talking about how the market will soon become positive in few months to come due to the bull run we are going to experience in few months to come, though a lot of persons are going to miss out from this bull run because it would happen at the fourth quarter of the year when we least expect it and many persons would have given up already since the growth is coming very late.
3343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO: Morton’s fork or salvation? on: March 28, 2019, 08:40:44 PM
Talking for the difference, ICO usually find it difficult to get listed in an exchange or reputable one, especially when they are not sincere, not raising enough fund becomes their alibi. IEO has no issues with exchange at least.
You are very correct about these, ICO have challenges in listing because most of them don't have enough funds to pay exchanges for listing while IEO would be listed automatically by the exchanges at which they were carried out on, I think this is just the major difference between ICO and IEO, let us enjoy this IEO genuity why it last because I can assure you that in just few months to come, we would start seeing a lot of IEO scam projects.

But, as per my observation on crypto space in last 3 to 5  years, I am sure the success of IEO may last for another 2 or 3 years until finding out some other way of hosting initial cryto offering. But, success of IEO will be purely depend on how strict those exchanges on choosing projects.
3344  Economy / Economics / Re: DYOR before joining!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: March 28, 2019, 08:06:13 PM
I feel very pissed when I listen to people who complain that Bitcoin has finally crashed and this might be the end of Bitcoin. I have come to realize that most of the people who utter these statements are either new to cryptocurrency or those desperate investors who has no knowledge about long-term investment.

Most of the new investors who bought during the 2017 bull run didn’t know much about crypto, they bought to quickly increase their money and it was so disappointing to them that bear market started shortly, hence the panic. Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme where you drop your money today and it multiplies by double folds the next minute. What we are experiencing now is only correction/ healing process. There is no need for panics.
Like you have said, most of this people spreading false news about Bitcoin and going about with negative vibes on Bitcoin are all newbies to Bitcoin. Sometimes I don’t blame them, what do you expect from people who commit their money into a project without a good understanding of the project.

I had a chat with a friend few days ago, he bought over 10 BTCs during the bull run and the person who introduced him never gave him any lectures, he was only told the money would multiply immediately. Now he’s so hurt and he goes about saying all sort of Negativity about Bitcoin, but after my discussion with him and I made him understand what Bitcoin is all about, he got so relaxed and promised never to say anything bad about it.I think Bitcoin optimists also have a lot of work to do from
3345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes newbie makes in trading resulting to losses on: March 28, 2019, 07:19:01 PM
Sometimes the mistakes will be easy solved besan and its type but in most of the time it will definitely give the loss and it will be at learning for everyone not to make the mistake again and it will not be a big problem in trading it happened in sometimes for everyone so don't worry if you are made some mistake it can be changed easily.
Trust me, not everyone is able to tell where and when they are making a mistake. Some will be making a mistake but won't be able to detect where the mistake is coming from. If you are able to detect what caused the problem and why you're losing, then you will be able to solve the problem without much stress.

A lot of them I know don't even make use of stop loss and they keep on losing whenever try set a trade. And they are fond of emotional trading which is very bad. Anyone who wants to be a an expert trader should learn not to trade with their emotion. Some trade with fear and some are greedy. A lot of them greedy, they are mostly the ones that bought at peak with plans to hodl and make millions a day but it didn't work out lol.
3346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Experince | Managers Are The Major Reasons Why Bounties Are Mis-Managed on: March 28, 2019, 06:31:54 PM
I am glad you guys came up with the idea to sanitize the ICO projects of bad ones but we can’t completely put the blame on bounty managers, they are just doing their work and what they are being paid for, the only thing I would implore them to always do is to make sure every project they accept to manage must be a verified ones, since they have accept to manage such project, they should be able to stand as guarantee for the project to investors by scrutinizing the project before promoting it.

We bounty hunters too do same as them, we promote them despite the fact that we know that some of them are in for the money and they don’t have any good product to show for their projects.
3347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to minimise the trading fee? on: March 28, 2019, 05:58:43 PM
Actually each trading site has a different amount of fees but it would be difficult if you want try all of that site and will make account just to determine the fees behind and it would be uncertain if you just rely on others opinion . If i were you try to make a research sometimes to obtain specific information.  Indeed there are more source now all over the internet so it woulf be better to be specific. .
Yes, you're right. I don't think there is a way for anyone reduce or avoid those fees. Best thing for them is to check out different exchanges and know which one has a lesser trading fees. All exchanges charge fees for trading, so you just need to find one with lesser fees and go for that. Binance will be a good option, they charge a little fees. Though its possible there might be other exchanges with cheaper fees.

Still, I believe there are "other" ways you can minimize the fees in exchanges. You can avoid paying withdrawal fees if you're making use of coinbase. You do this by withdrawing to GDAX and from GDAX you can send the money to other exchanges. Doing this takes more process, but the good thing is that yours not going to pay any fees for the withdrawal, cause every withdrawal you make from Coinbase to GRAD is free and GDAX to other exchanges is free.
3348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: March 28, 2019, 04:21:49 PM
We are risking our money here and no matter what angle we do try to look at its never been an entertaining thing but rather a very pressure kind of investment yet
we do able to see falling prices on our investments unless if you are super rich and do like to waste up money then it might be entertaining for you but majority of traders
dont really have this kind of insight.
Trading is only sweet and entertaining when you are making profit without loss which is quite not so easy no matter what many professional traders tells us and I am very sure that those companies even calling him are probably crypto brokers that are looking for another scape goat to milk dry because that is what they know how to do best with their margin offer.

Being super rich is what will even make the person not look the way of trading, most super rich people, end up gambling with their money, at least that one is more entertaining  though game of luck, unlike trading that requires strategies.
3349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 27, 2019, 07:38:55 PM
What are your thoughts about the latest injury of Jusuf Nurkic? This is the link to that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvolan-diXY. Not advertising the video but, dude that was a gruesome injury and I thought not to play basketball more because of this. I think I might be playing 2k19 because of this.
Just watched the videos and thanks for sharing, this injury would let Nurkic out of this season, same alike with George and Hayward, this serious injury will need him to bench and wait for another season, too bad for blazers as they really being competitive now forming their own super team, but accident happen and this one will really hurt them.

Prayers for Nurkic as this is really a bad one for him.

This is most likely the same Hayaward's injury, For sure he'd be automatically out for this season. I'd hope that he could still come back next year, but I doubt of he can still play the same, not unless, he conquered his fear getting injured again. Nurkic, is really a big loss for the portland. I'd also hope that portland will not trade or waive him, just because of this, injury. I know he can comeback strong and dominate the paint again. Praying for his fast recovery.
The injury also changes the playoff shape so much. I mean Portland is definitely still "good" without Nurkic but without him are they "that good" now? I mean look at the standings, they are at 4th spot easily and ahead of that rat race around 5th-8th spot. Now that Nurkic is gone, even though it is a heart breaking injury but it changes the whole team and their talent level all at once.

When you are at 4th spot you face the 5th spot team and whoever ends up being 5th (maybe even them if they do not play carefully for the rest of the season) it could be a team that is better than a Portland team without Nurkic in it. Normally the 4th and 5th spot games are the only games that is even questionable because games like 1st vs 8th or 2nd vs 7th is easily decided but this time it is even more in favor of the 5th team that will face Portland.
3350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does online gambling operations manage gambling addiction? on: March 27, 2019, 06:29:42 PM
I think it will be quite difficult for gamblers to apply self-exclusion on the site as most addicted gamblers will never agree to be suffering from addiction.

The best a site can do is to take note of the gamer’s history; there should be a way they would know. Maybe from the number of hours spent to the amount, then they can have a link that will send the addicted gambler to chart with experts, maybe advise the gamer to go seek an offline professional help or if it is possible put a ban on the gamblers account.
3351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: March 27, 2019, 05:48:20 PM
You are absolutely right, most of the project requesting for KYC don't make it to hardcap and even those that have managed to, the BM will find a way to deprive us of the bounty by continuously rejecting KYC
Usually KYC is supposed to be a tool to be used against money laundering, majority of them don’t even make use of the KYC we are talking about has we have many investors that has put in Large fund into the coin without any verification, I see it as just a camouflage and no effect or impact it has on the market.

I think it is even the project developers or exchanges that need to show the users legal document that will show that they are real and also safe to transact business with such exchange or invest in such ICO, but nowadays, I don’t think we still have much projects imposing ICO on the investor.
3352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the future of cryptocurrencies.... on: March 27, 2019, 04:35:58 PM
Perhaps the Initial Exchange Offeringsm that will take place on sites such as Binance Launchpad and the appearance in the near future of Facebook Coin and Telegram coin will give a new impetus to cryptography.
The arrival of technological era was actually the first step towards a digitalized economy and cryptocurrency is finally here.
Do you know that 50% of the cash market has been shifted to the cryptocurrency form in Canada ?

The case is stronger in the US and so on. This will not just stop there but will actually spread to other countries sooner than many of the financial experts predict.
It is rapidly spreading already even to European countries and African countries, the way crypto is widely recognized in Africa is alarming too, once more continents recognizes it and we have at least 50% user from each of the continents. There will really be a very big boom and stability in the prices of cryptocurrency.

50% adopters worldwide is quite a good way to sustain cryptocurrency for life because I am very sure we cannot achieve 100% adoption if we are to consider other factors such as government policy and most especially if we are to consider the high level of illiteracy in some countries and since the cryptocurrency system is also a technology based but if we can even get 50% of people in the world adopting cryptocurrency, nothing will ever make
3353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Is straying deceitfully from the ideologies of Blockchain technology on: March 27, 2019, 01:42:27 PM
You should not expect it to be like the others because there are no regulations here and it is possible for everyone to set conditions as they wish. While you think your own interests, they are also considering their own interests.
Thank you for this. All these anger would have been better poured out on ICO scammers and bad projects rather than innocent companies just doing that own job that they think suits their business. If we even look at it, After all, they are still practicing their own decentralized system too, since there are no regulations or rules backing their action.

Aside that, when it even comes to Initial coin offering, every ICO has a limit to they offer to a particular investor before they can participate, and it is only when it gets to exchange that one can buy any amount one desires to buy, probably part of this policy of ICO is what they incorporated into their own system to guide every ICO generally.
3354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dice - why do you play in a particular casino? on: March 27, 2019, 12:38:54 PM
A faster transactions where you can withdraw and deposit anytime you want. Yes, there’s a lot of ways to determine if the gambling site is good or not, you can just know it by the reviews of the users. Try also to monitor their site and if you found it safe its good to gamble there.
I don’t joke with fast transactions, especially withdrawals and deposits that is what I consider first in deciding the casino site to choose. From reviews I can tell if the site offers instant withdrawals and transfers. There are some sites that would promise but after the experience one would realize they were not for real.

Also, it is better to first of all try playing with little amount of money. I think it’s also very good to check for a casino site with good customer service, there are times we need help while playing and only a casino site with a friendly customer care service can come through at that moment.
3355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are the biggest celebrity gamblers? on: March 25, 2019, 06:13:42 PM
I know that Charlie Sheen is a big gambler. I am not sure if he is the biggest but I think that he is on the list with the biggest of them.
He is well known for his love for activities that adrenaline reaches its max.

I once read that he undergoes professional help to overcome compulsive gambling, regularly spending more than $200,000 a week to satisfy his cravings. It’s been said, however, that he’s since cleaned up his act according to one article, I hope he will remain clean or he will end up a pauper.
That was the height of it and I can imagine what he went through. I think Charlie Sheen had a lot of issues, not just gambling. I want to believe that his penchant for sports betting led to the cause of all his problems. From alcohol to drug addiction and sexual promiscuity. Maybe he is hooked on the rush the high stakes wagers provide. But gladly he admitted during an interview some years back that he no longer bets.

According to him he said he’s now a retired gambler not a recovering gambler. I think he really regrets all his past gambling actions and I hope he doesn’t go back to his old ways
3356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any reason to day trade anything other than bitcoin? on: March 25, 2019, 04:40:13 PM
If you are a beginner, then you do not need to trade anything except bitcoin. Experienced traders can determine the perspective of some coins and make trades with them because some altcoins look quite interesting in the long or medium term.
There are good markets which have huge volume such as usdt and ETH which have a lot of pair in altcoins. I think it's good not to just stay in the market specially during bear market.
Yes, we need to stay out of  trading during bear market, but when it comes to long-term investment, bear market is the best for any investor to stay in the market and for trading, we have lots of trader that are also taking advantage of the bear market because it is this period that a lot of shitcoins  gets pumped and dumped, and some pumping can go as high as giving 1500% profit within a very short time than long-term holding would do, but I am still not against the opinion of those who does not have the mind to do so to stay out of the market completely.

Playing with shitcoins in a bear market is like gambling and a trade of luck.
3357  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Report Warns 87 Percent of Cryptocurrency Exchange Volume Is Potentially Sus on: March 24, 2019, 07:18:58 PM
I believe no one will ever  get the right result regarding the true volume of exchange unless these exchanges submit a report.  All in all, it is a waste of time reading this kind of article since this is just mere speculation of someone who thought they are bright enough to calculate the volume by simply doing the formula stated at the OP.
Even if they submit any form of report to the public or anybody that wishes to verify it, that doesn’t also guarantee that the volume quoted in the report will also be genuine and not manipulated like it’s done in the system, so like you said, all these is just a waste of time and it is not exchanges that people should be focused on fighting now, rather all their fight strength and tools should be focused on fellows scamming investors through some of these projects.

If true, exchanges might just be using this as a strategy to boost their existence in the market by hyping their reputation.
3358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: March 24, 2019, 10:30:20 AM
Very important for people to understand that if they think they can make money from gambling and live a livelihood then they may be mistaken because winning from gambling few days would be fine but once you start losing you would end up losing a lot of money.
That’s not true. My younger brother lost his job earlier last year and he was really devastated. Then he started to gamble, am not aware if he started this out of frustration or if it was a passion but what I know is, his achievement between that early last year and now is more than the years he worked in the bank before he was terminated.

I have asked him how he’s been able to achieve this with all the loses he makes, and in his words "losses are bound to happen in gambling and same as winning, but the ability to take advantage of the winnings over loses is what makes a smart gambler.
That is very bad. See this is a menace. When things come to probability, you just cannot calculate the chance of winning.
There are people who start gambling by taking loans because they focus completely on win and think they will but once in the casino, things can take an upside down shift any time.

So, the experts recommend you to go in when you have a good source of income and that when your monthly income is from a solid business and not from what you do in casino.
3359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dice - why do you play in a particular casino? on: March 24, 2019, 08:39:40 AM
I've been playing to these trusted sites that other people are playing too. There are a lot of other sites out there but I don't want to try other sites since even if I tried it a little, I still want to stick with the site I am playing. I can't say that it is loyalty but I am used to that kind of sites. They have the reputation and the trust of gamblers so that is obvious I will be sticking to it.
So different people here have their own different opinions and I think that if the casino is user friendly and have incentives as compared to other casinos, of course I would stick to it. When it comes to online gambling, majority of people find it a bit hard to get begin with the website very easily so if you have been part of a specific site for bitcoin dice, you will prefer to be there rather than to explore another until and unless it is more profitable.

The first thing that makes me chose a casino game aside its reputation is the Soundtrack. As much as this may sound funny, I pay so much attention to the backing track.
This seems like too different criteria to be playing a casino. I can understand it because I am also inclined to these types of things for returning back to a site. But, these are the things only for a lively gambler whereas most people are aggressively approaching gambling in an addicted mode and never bother these "miscellaneous" things.
3360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what trading has made me on: March 24, 2019, 07:51:09 AM
Well, this is exactly the function of trading bot to interpret the market data on your behalf and decide the right time to place a buy or sell market and ease you of these stress but you still have to be watching the bot too closely and be sure the one you are using is still active because I have seen a situation whereby people complain about a particular both expiring without notifying until probably they see it has stopped working when they needed it the most.

I doubt if there is any free bot out there that will be free for users and be as effective as the paid ones, but human trading is still the best option provided you can learn to study indicators carefully.
