What i have for sale is a Promo Code for the EA Origin store that will get you 15% on your checkout!, This may or may NOT mean that it works on multiple items, I am NOT sure.
I obtained this code through a long and painful experiance dealing with customer service, And they apologised for the inconvience with this promo code! yay me! This code was issued to me on May 18th 2012.
they hand them out like hotcakes, even if you have a positive experience. they even give out 30% codes, 15% is nothing

which is the command to tell the miner to use only a certian cpu core?
Thats a trick question, right? DiabloMiner uses 1% cpu or less typically. not really, i have an java.exe usage of exactly 25% and 38 mb (i dont care about the memmory usage). its not the 100% cpu bug, some light version of it xD START "miner" /LOW /AFFINITY 1 diablominer.exe whatever and yes, it is the same cpu bug. it's 100% on one core. if you got multiple miners, it's probably smart to dump all your miners into one core to reduce wasted processing power.

I wonder if bitsingles are responsible for it...
nope, just botnets.

Why would I trade my super rare sword of awesome for worthless "credits"?
because that's the only way for buyers to trade with other players. the developers will probably put in some restrictions so you cant trade using an external currency.

most blizzard fans are getting old! around what 20-30ish older gamers are more likely to understand the glory that is bitcoin 20-30ish year old's are looking to invest! bitcoin is perfect for trading in game items ( ebay dont want that shit, paypal charge backs... ) bitcoin will have a good size diablo3 market from day one ( many people here are going to be playing ) new gamers that start trading with bitcoins are in for a treat ( lets face it, bitcoin is fun! ) if this goes well a Good MMORPG made to use bitcoin In-game will become a huge selling point. in a few years bitcoin might become a standard for MMORPG's in game trading?lolno. developers will always want to implement their own monetary system so they can get income for selling worthless "credits"

@ DandT: We will have raffles and lottery for high valued items where members only have to mine to get a chance to win. They will only have to be active to eligible to win. We will also have an aggressive referral system where members can gain GPUMoney credits just by signing others up.
That still doesn't solve the problem though. No matter how you cut it, the expected income per month is way too low to attract anyone's attention. With raffles, the odds will simply be extremely small. Having your computer running 24/7, dealing with the extra heat, noise and electricity cost, and all you get are raffle tickets worth aproximately $2? No one will fall for that; they will get bored and quit after a few weeks. Way to threadshit using a PR account.
he probably forgot to sign out.

why cant you just make a bank deposit with paypal?

Use your a drop, if you're paranoid. Nobody is stopping you. Why would you be billed after 3 months anyways, and not 3 days?
fail logic. you're expected to return the product after you received your "replacement". after a few months, they eventually give up and assume you're a scammer, so they send you a bill.

maybe use another piece of software to adjust your clocks? cgminer has it built in.
|
|
|
You'll find a large population uses cgminer, some use DiabloMiner, and not so big population using Phoenix (with or without GUIMiner frontend). Personally I use Phoenix 2, because I get ~2% more than any other miner I've tried for my 57xx/58xx cards.
2% is a pretty low margin. are you sure it's not just statistical noise?

bitcoin uses very little bandwidth, therefore it can easily be disguised as harmless data (stenography). no need for encryption, which is vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks.
Would you please explain? We can encrypt our data, but to do that, both sides needs to negotiate a key. Diffie–Hellman key exchange allows for a key exchange over an unsecure channel, but it's vulnerable to a man-in-the-middle attack. All the ISP has to do is intercept/block all handshake traffic (when the connection is being established and the two peers exchange keys). For torrents, it's somewhat mitigated because the initial exchange is encrypted using the hash of the torrent, which is impossible to guess if the user browses torrent sites with ssl.

Not sure how escrow will help you 3 months from now, when you get a bill for your supposedly cheap product. Of course it's "voluntarily" given to you by the company. I can't imagine how a company can involuntarily give someone electronics. (maybe Nyaaan held a gun to the CEO's head? )
