There is no doubt that when Leicester play at home against teams at the bottom, it looks like victory is a definite result for Leicester. Mourinho reputation can be low but he loves when the team and the city is on his side. Like what happened in Milan when he won everything with Inter you'll see he's going to become again a one man show and bring Roma to new heights.
He did well with Spurs at some point this season making them the first but after reaching that point, the team was failing hard. I don't think he should take all the blame BTW. Mourinho will not make Roma the best team the next season with the actual squad imo, he needs some fresh and good players. Juve - Milan this Sunday and the battle for CL spot is getting intense with Lazio and Napoli getting closer. A draw will complicate things for both of them imo. Yes, of course Mourinho has the freedom to bring in new players and it will happen when the transfer market opens I read the news in the media that Mourinho wants to sign new players in midfield but no list of targeted names, maybe next month we'll already hear who to buy Mourinho may want to recruit young players, and form a squad with youngsters. I can’t believe how rubbish Real Madrid were, they need a total rebuild. All their main players are too old. Chelsea deserved to get to the final & the score could have been even more convincing. I think Man City will become champion though, it feels like it is their time.

It is not a condition that happened all of a sudden, here in my country the government took precaution and placed precautionary measures as the virus kept on mutating and all the health experts were warning about this for months and if Indian government did not hear this then it is the fault of your government as i have seen horrible visuals what is happening in India and i was actually surprised that the tournament is underway.
India is a country with 1.4 billion people and it is always easy to blame the government when the people themselves are responsible for this situation. No one predicted this jump in the infections and by March, the daily number of cases was as low as 8,000. This has jumped to 350,000-400,000. But the BCCI was wrong to conduct the tournament in a country where the vaccination drive covered only 2% of the population. The advantage with UAE is that a majority of the population there have been vaccinated. The BCCI should have hosted the IPL in the UAE like the previous season. Or arrange in both countries. Then IPL would not have to be stopped now. However, no one could have imagined that the second wave of coronavirus in India would take such a terrible form. Hopefully very soon the situation will return to normal and the IPL will start again in compliance with the health restrictions. |

He can do a lot. Remember Porto as the UEFA Champions league winner? Watch AS Roma next season as Mourinho will show his magic!  The rest of this season shouldn't be counted as too little time to train the squad, and pretty much 7th position is the best for them. You're right, we'll see Mourinho's magic next season. In the first half Faf du Plessis and Moeen and then Rayudu great batting display takes Chennai Super Kings to 218, which is massive total and hard to penetrate for any team. MI failed badly maintain sensible bowling attack, their best bowlers Jasprit Bumrah turn out most costly. At the moment, MI batsman Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock on the pitch. They are playing flawlessly and manage 68 runs after 7 overs. 12 overs have ended. And Mumbai Indians have lost 3 wickets. De Kock and Rohit Sharma have made great starts, but they are both out. And Yadav was out for just 3 runs. Now the crease has two completely new batsmen Pollard and Pandya. They are enough experienced, but it is too much difficult to score 125 runs from 48 balls. |

None of these teams are "much stronger" than the other. The score shouldn't absolutely mislead people. PSG were better in the first half but City developed a better strategy in the second half and took the advantage. I don't think that City's job will be easy in the second leg also.
Agreed,,, like I said, they each took a half and the scoreline does not really reflect it, it could very easily go the other way (just like how PSG were outplayed by Bayern Munich and yet still got the full victory). This is football and a small slice of luck is needed every now and then. City will be facing a big task they know it. Logically, it cannot be concluded, that just because Man City won in the first leg, they will have an easy game in the second leg. PSG will do everything to try to win the match. If you manage to score a goal early, and don't slow down, you have a lot of chances to surprise. Personally, I think Man City will pass, but he won't have an easy life. As important as the first match was for both teams, I think the second leg is equally important for both teams. Because Manchester City won the match 2-1. If they had won 3-1 or 3-0, they could have had a lot of worry in the second leg. Guardiola knows very well that PSG is a very strong team. They have the ability to score 3/4 goals against Manchester City. So Manchester City will play the next match with enough importance. |

Sporting managed to defeat Braga away the last while playing even with one less men. And their next match which is vs Nacional home is much easier for them. I think they will maintain their unbeaten streak.
This season I am fascinated as much as I watch the matches of Sporting CP. They have played 29 matches this season, and have not lost a single match. Sporting will play only 5 more matches this season, not all of their upcoming opponents except Benefica are very strong. Hopefully, they won't lose a single match this season. |
