Are you talking about the DFB Pokal? If so, I have not followed it this year but I have just found out that Holstein Kiel, which is playing against Dortmund today, basically sent Bayern home a few rounds back! A team from Bundesliga2 trying to win the Pokal is always very entertaining.
I do not think they can win tonight but I am curious to watch the match.

I guess a team from a lower division managing to fight for a cup is always a good story, it will always have a good memory for like 2 seasons at best but then it will be forgotten. There has been many attempts, most of the time unsuccessful, this one will probably that way as well and they will fail, they have come great so far but they will be gone very soon.

What I think is the big deal is that when people are fighting for something like this, they do not really believe in themselves neither, I have been around sports long enough and known enough players in many different sports enough to know that even if you beat bayern, dortmund, leipzig, wolfsburg and the such to go to finals, if you are a team that is seen as "unlikely to win" and go against hertha berlin, you will still doubt yourself big time and will always have "even if we lose we achieved so much" mindset as well.

and the result was/is really clear... dortmund needed only one half-time to send holstein kiel, who were completely overtaxed, 5-0 back to the far north. and the whole thing also without E. Haaland who dropped out shortly before the game due to injury.

I was noticing the amazing performance of Mainz in the last five games: from hell and back it seems because they now look much more safe than they were 5 games before. I don't know what happened to these players but I'm placing a bet on them winning today; Hertha doesn't' look like able to stop them.

Schalke 04 still has 3 games to play in the 1st Bundesliga before it goes down to the 2nd Bundesliga. to ensure that the boys from Gelsenkirchen are promoted again directly afterwards,
they have probably signed Simon Terodde from Hamburger SV for the next season. he is supposed to shoot the Schalke team back into the first Bundesliga.
maybe Schalke will have more luck with Terodde than with Jan Claas Huntelar.the television station sky sports news HD reported it today

Forgot about the DFB-Pokal as usual and found out about the game in the news, seeing Dortmund winning isn't a surprise although it is stressful to know that Kiel kicked Bayern 5-0 was good but watching the replay of Morey's injury sucks, even Haaland closed his eyes when he saw it. Nothing much to see in Bundesliga about the upcoming two games on calendar (Mainz Hertha and Hertha Freiburg), unless you are a Hertha supporter   
I will be waiting for the next round which has two super games scheduled: Dortmund Leipzig and Bayern Munich Borussia Mönchengladbach.
It can be a difficult game for Bayern and Leipzig could take that opportunity to win three super heavy points.

Even though the match ended in a draw but for these two teams it was a pretty bad result because only getting 1 point would certainly not be able to prevent both teams from relegation and I didn't expect Mainz 05 to appear superior beat Bayern Muchen in the previous match but had to share points with Hertha Berlin even though 3 matches were left, Mainz had to fight a team that was tough enough to get full points, while Hertha Berlin, although difficult to escape relegation, still had 3 matches remaining and also 3 matches postponed and worth waiting for what surprises will be given by hertha berlin at the end of the league.

Dortmund was really dominant in that game and their squad quality was much much greater than that of Kiel and that's why the game was a walk over for them. I don't know why Bayern lost to Kiel but the DFB Pokal seems like the only title that Dortmund still have a shot a winning so they were playing with a target. Sometimes in football, even the unbelievable / near impossible situations happens so I wasn't so surprised to see Bayern lose.

I'm now looking forward to Leipzig vs Dortmund final match next week.

I just want to enjoy this match, I am not interested in taking the risk of betting on this match. Because both teams are strong. Dortmund won the previous match very well. Erling Haaland's outstanding performance helped Dortmund to a 3-1 victory. My guess is that Leipzig will avenge the previous match in this match and beat Dortmund.

Yeah, Leipzig should definitely win. Bayern will also win most probably and guarantee their championship. But it's important for Leipzig to win to guarantee their place in the table also.

As for the relegation area, what do you mean by "no one can be relegated directly"? Schalke have already relegated, for example.

Bayern - M'Gladbach, a hard game but I think the first position will be confirmed for Bayern this weekend, since leipzig might drop points too vs Dortmund.
Leipzig playing in CL next season is almost confirmed 99.99%.
A part from Schalke, the relegation battle is intense. I am particularly worried about Bremen, their remaining games aren't easy. For Koln, Hertha and Bielefeld, they will play vs each other so they might make their situation worse. Again determining the relegated teams is harder in Bundesliga than knowing the winner
