3341  Economy / Economics / Re: EU wants to ban crypto anonymous transactions and wallets on: August 07, 2021, 07:34:36 AM
This I believe may affect Bitcoin, at least as we know it so far:

"In particular, the EU would ban anonymous crypto asset wallets, according to an EU fact sheet, with the European Commission saying that systems like Bitcoin should be governed by the same rules as regular bank wire transfers."

In other words, for each transaction they want to identify the user who sends and the user who receives the transaction, which is easy if one of the parties is a registered exchange user. If the other party is not identified, the transaction is blocked.

I don't know how those who have their funds in hardware wallets and don't want to identify themselves would be. I suppose that at least they would be very limited in their ability to send funds. And then banning anonymous wallets is another blow to privacy.

I don't know what you think about how this could end up.

The main reason for creation of bitcoin was not to include any third-party intervention in fund transfer globally but that is what government fears because they don't want anything to go off the radars and we all are being under supervision each time. But with the bitcoin gaining now popularity government don't want to ban them due to tax revenue and economy boost and on the same side want to control it also and that's why coming up with shitty reasons and lame excuses. If both the parties indentity is known the government and banks will intervene asking for some more details about the transaction and impose certain restrictions. But bitcoin is being decentralised and you can't control it anyway so any such regulations won't work but yes they can try it with their CDBC yet to be launched and impose as many restrictions they want. But bitcoin comes with freedom of your funds.

We have seen people saying that we have missed the boat as it's too late to invest in bitcoin now but the actual problem is that we have not missed the boat but in actual life we are just in the wrong boat and living in fake world of central authority. There are two boats in the sea one is fiat and all other CDBC yet to be issued and other inflationary Central assets and other one is deflationary bitcoin boat. The fiat is like titanic big and used by everyone but the government printing money to cover fiscal deficit act like big icebergs which will make that boat and world economy sink.

But bitcoin is like small boat in which you can make some holes of FUD,criminal allegations but they can't sink it and it will cross the floods and high tides easily also. With all people joints effort and bitcoin becoming mainstream the boat will become more strong and those who take it will watch the other boats sinking but they will don't have any worry about it.

You just need to change your boat and shift from your old traditional markets to decentralised and deflationary bitcoin boat.
3345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2011 Bitcoin rejected person reaction on 2021 on: August 06, 2021, 04:41:17 AM
It's not just him but many others who didn't realise what bitcoin will be worth in coming seven to eight years and just sold their coins at $3-$5 only. There have been many such cases and now they all be dead inside seeing the prices now.It is infact matter of time and your vision and hodling skills which makes you rich over those period.Take the case of two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins or german programmer losing hard drive containing more than 7k btc worth millions today.

There are many who still regrets selling very early or too late to be on the boat but still they stand a chance in future if they take investment decision once again.
3346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can't withdraw on rocketpot.io after their 'airdrop' on: August 06, 2021, 04:12:02 AM
I have not played over rocketpot.io and in your case it was a normal airdrop and you received your funds but they have condition setup for withdrawal as mentioned by you.

Quote
To make a withdrawal, you’ll have to bet your deposited amount three times. The site’s terms say that Rockepot.io will process your withdrawal request within 24 hours, but you may have to wait up to seven days after the KYC (Know Your Client) process finishes.

You must check with the support team once again by email or their official thread here on bitcointalk as there are only two ways to contact them. They don't have any probably fair games with them and that's why i avoid playing over there. But we must check all the condition and then start playing over any casino.Hope your query is resolved.
3347  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 06, 2021, 03:56:18 AM
@Lakai01 I always have limits and reminders for this, even in a month I don't have more than $75 for gambling so after the balance runs out I won't make any more deposits because I know the time limit is up.

And I've been using this for a year and it's quite effective. Cheesy
This is good thing on your part that you have fixed amount which you deposit for placing bets and if you run out of it wait for next round of deposit instead of aggressively putting another lot of funds to place bets.Setting up your limits in gambling not only restricts you from becoming addict but also save you from some excessive loss which sometimes you can't bear.People who become too addict to gambling are getting themselves registered on gamstop self exclusion programs for a period of six months or upto five years to save themselves from any further personal or financial loss.So if you play in limit from the start it's better.

We are not desperate or anything like that... so go ahead.. Do what you gonna do, king daddy....  Not like there's much of a choice for us normie peeps, anyhow.
The $40k resistance will soon be over and we might witness another pump this week and that taking prices to next bar and then chart buddy will show price range of $50-$51k.So not being desperate i am going on with my DCA journey and putting more into btc out of the box.

Good day everyone I am McCryptoCoins and I am new here, Yesterday night a friend of mine introduce me to this Forum. He told me that I can earn BITCOINS by joining campaigns is  it true? But before that I need some help about here in forum can someone help me? Hope for your response thanks in advance.
So your friend recommended this forum as source for earning bitcoins only to you or have made clear you some rules and regulations of the forum? From your words it is clear that your friend is bounty hunter here on the forum and suggested you the same also because signature campaign required certain rank like junior or full member atleast which in turn requires merit and activity. But if you have wrong perception about bitcointalk forum like making money from it you won't get long and soon will be joining other with zero contribution on the forum. This is a discussion forum and i am really surprised to see so many newbies coming up with same question like how to earn money here on the forum without doing proper research and reading threads that can benefit them. The only way to rise is to earn your rank with quality posts but if you are looking for some Bounty programme then have a look for them. But try to change the way you think about this forum.
3351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Loan Advice on: August 05, 2021, 12:30:03 PM
Income for now is around $70,000 CAD while living at home, so making the small monthly payments will not be an issue whatsoever.
If you are already making such a good income living at home which cut out your external expenses like rent and other bills unlike most of us then why are you into taking loan from your parents? Simple is to do monthly or weekly DCA which can help you a lot and save you from any debt because giving interest for the loan of $10k would simply cut off your profits and it's not advisable to take loans for such investment.Although the bitcoin will be worth high in coming years but make sure you start investing whatever you are willing to do on your own.I am also doing DCA from past few months and you can check the thread for the same here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5349270.msg57459803#msg57459803

So i would also advise you to not to take any loan for bitcoin investment as you are not having any fund related issue and already earning $70k CAD so if you simply divert 10% towards btc investment with DCA and stack sats you would have enough with you in long run.

-snip-
The missing content in your review is, only not explained a few feature "Rollbit" provided on their casino :
- Bonus Buy Battle
- Challenge feature
- Trading leverage

I think all of these should be included in the review, So, far I know "rollbits" the only casino or even the first casino that created "Bonus Buy Battle" and "Challenge" feature on their casino.
Exactly he should have reviewed all those new features that are available exclusively on Rollbit only like you have mentioned and given some extra points to it.Speaking of deposit options there are casino which prefers top most crypto as deposit options like btc,eth and ltc and for those fees related issues you can use Litecoin easily and if you are big player fees won't matter or you can withdraw funds in one go rather making more transaction. But in the end it's Personal choice and you give points according to your viewpoint.
3353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As of today, Google ads for Bitcoin are no longer banned. on: August 05, 2021, 09:50:20 AM
It can only be bullish if they’re allowing exchanges & reputable companies to advertise again. Hopefully it brings lots more average joes into bitcoin because we need retail to flow in to restart this bull market.
The crypto companies that want to advertise on Google have to go through the regulation FinCen which is Financial Crime Enforcement Network and have certification for the same. This is only for US companies at this time and are stating this month as they have put ban on all such crypto related ads back in 2018 but now they have implemented changes in their policy.

Quote
That said, ads for Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) remain banned on Google Ads. In addition, Decentralised Finance (DeFi) trading protocols, and ads that are “otherwise promoting” the sale, purchase, or trade of cryptocurrencies or related products are also banned.

Google allow crypto ads now

This is good step and we can see global crypto exposure to many users as for most of the internet users google chrome is default browser and when they will see ads on it they can have some belief that cryptocurrencies are new mode of investment.Hope it works in best possible manner.
3354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Books we need to read on: August 05, 2021, 09:32:34 AM
Surprising how people can use a penname like that for marketing purposes. I’d have thought that editorials would be a little more prone to avoiding this type of stunt, and although rightfully there is no (known) real person behind the name IRL, it is usurping a well known pseudonym in order to sell books.
They use renowned name in order to sell their books and try to fool people by using subname of that person which is really bad things on their part.Your thought as editor or author of the book are main and you should use your name and provide some really good crypto related materials to readers.

Indian athletes to get bitcoin along with other prizes if they win medals at Olympics games held in Tokyo this year.

A great initiative by the crypto exchange Bitbns and the rewards will be given as SIP plans starting from 200k for gold,100k for silver and 50k for bronze medalist. The players can then redeem the rewards after completion of KYC documents. The plans will be of 3-5 years and with this keeping in mind the prices in next five years they will get enough to win medals.A motivation and crypto friendly step by the exchange.

I can conclude that it provides a good way of playing after I learned even though it was only luck that I got but for me this will continue to be tricked by my playing style with the video.
Experimenting different styles of gambling and learning from others is not bad if we are doing it an limit and entertainment manner but as you said if you are lucky you might also win the same manner and if not then you just loose your bet placed.Watching these streamers just for fun and to know their style and sometimes reaction are priceless to watch. But we should keep our own way of gambling that suits us much better.

Which one of the following payment methods is known as a decentralized digital currency?
a) PayPal   b) Bitcoin   c) Google Pay   d) American Express
Thanks for some useful suggestions like dynamic survey approach to generate appropriate results. This question of yours will also give us results that how many people are also aware about how decentralised mode of payment works without any third party intervention.
3360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin videos on Youtube....and a suggestion for our possible BCT channel. on: August 04, 2021, 01:08:33 PM
It's really hard to found genuine crypto youtubers these days who can guide people about the right investment options and guide them through the technical working of bitcoin so that every watcher of that video become aware about new decentralised payment methods like bitcoin. But they all are busy in promoting crap and shitcoins which they promote and with clickbait titles they attract the audience.Suppose the video is of 10 minutes they simply waste 4-5 minutes in advertising their sponsored wallets and exchanges and hit the subscribe button. Moreover they don't have knowledge themselves and are just in rush to make a video why? Because google trends show crypto is hot topic to be searched and they can easily get an audience with such titles. So if the bitcointalk has a channel it should stay away from such things and provide knowledgeable and useful stuff to all people and slowly the channel will gain momentum and smart audience will be diverted towards it.
These all youtubers are going to make you millionaire with bitcoin just overnight but that's not gonna happen.

We need to be among one those who provides information not wholly into money making and promotion of any shitcoins.
