Secondly, I believe that I did not take into account one of the important variables, given that in addition to the 47% chance there is also the value "HI" "Lo" and the fact that I did not use an auto rate.
Since the game is provably fair and numbers are determined 100% random, it doesn't really matter if you bet on HI or LO.

I have no other explanation, because with the usual 47% chance there cannot be 10-15 losses in a row.
100 losses in a row is even possible.

By using the doubling strategy (it's also called as martingale strategy), you don't really increase your chance.

Let's say I have 1 BTC and I want to convert it to 2 BTC with HI-LO game.
If I put the whole 1 BTC in a single bet, I will have 47.5% chance of winning.

What if I put 1 mBTC instead of the whole 1 BTC? If I lose, I will double the bet amount. If I win, I will return to 1 mBTC.
Will I increase my chance?

No.
For converting the initial 1 BTC to 2 BTC, using this method, I need to win 1000 bets.
As my total balance is 1000 times my base bet, I can lose the bets up to 10 times in a row.

Let's calculate how much is the probability of winning the bets 1000 times without hitting 10 losses in a row.

(1 - 0.52510)1000 = 0.203 = 20.3%

As calculated above, the chance has decreased to 20.3% from 47.5%

What if I set the base bet amount to 0.001 mBTC instead of 1 mBTC?
In this way, I can lose the bets up to 20 times in a row.

If I do this, I will decrease my chance even more.

(1 - 0.52520)1000000 = 0.079 = 7.9%

Someone may say that I don't want to double my initial balance. I will stop the game, when I make 10% profit.

Again it's not a good idea to use martingale strategy.
If I bet the whole balance and set the multiplier to 1.1, I will have more chance of winning.
3342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH wallet address issue on: May 02, 2021, 06:24:15 PM
Every BCH address has two formats.
1. Legacy     2. Cash

Try sending to the Cash format of binance deposit address.

You can enter your address on blockchair to see the other format of your address.

Below is a random BCH address in two formats.

The PM restriction is not lifted for copper members.
According to the post you quoted, you are right. The PM restrictions shouldn't be lifted.

But theymos has stated something else in the topic below.
New PM limits

You are automatically whitelisted if you buy a copper membership.

For a whitelisted user with activity of below 15, max PMs per hour and max PMs per day are 40 and 120 respectively.

The topic saying PM restrictions are not lifted has been made on November 10, 2017.
The topic saying the maximim limit of PMs is increased if whitelisted has been made on December 06, 2017 and should be the valid one.

theymos should edit one of these two topics? or I am missing something here?

Can you please count the probability of winning other gifts? Such as 34-340-3400 sats, rewards or RPs? Thanks in advance!
You can use the table below to calculate probabilities of winning different prizes.
Just note that some prizes have decreased in value due to change in bitcoin price. For example, currently we get 34 satoshi instead of 50 satoshi.

According to the table above, the chance of winning satoshi, lottery tickets and reward points are as follows.

50 Reward Points: 30%
500 Reward Points: 2%
5000 Reward Points: 1.3%

50 Lottery Tickets: 30%
500 Lottery Tickets: 2%
5000 Lottery Tickets: 1.3%

50 Satoshi: 30%
500 Satoshi: 2%
5000 Satoshi: 1.3%

the last quote (group 4 and 5) is very rare, as I know when I look at proof from a member who got the prizes, the top quote (group of 1,2,3) is always seen every day here.
Correct, the probability of winning those prizes is very small.

1 golden ticket: 0.01%
5 golden tickets: 0.005%
50 golden tickets: 0.0025%

$500 Amazon gift card: 0.000003%
$1500 iPhone: 0.000001%
$15000 dollar Rolex: 0.00000005%

3347  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Updating to Electrum 4.1.2 on: April 26, 2021, 08:31:29 PM
When I am UPDATING my Electrum wallet, do I need to do anything like delete the old? I have not done this before, only downloaded my first ever wallet.
There is no need to remove the previous version. The new version will be replaced the old one. Just make sure that electrum is not running when you install the new version.

I will do it for Windows. Does it automatically go onto the default wallet once installed or do you have to start from scratch using your seed?
The new version will be able to open all wallets created by the old version. There is no need to create them again.
But for more security, make sure that you have the seed phrase before you upgrade electrum to the new version.

And as stated in previous posts, don't forget to verify the signature.

Your transaction will likely be confirmed in the next block ViaBTC mine.

3349  Economy / Services / Re: Can someone mine my Bitcoin transaction on: April 24, 2021, 03:25:29 PM
If acceleration was successful, ViaBTC tells you. If it doesn't say anything, something probably went wrong.
I tested this 4 times today. All were at the whole hours.
ViaBTC doesn't show any message when the acceleration is successful. Maybe something is wrong from my side.

When I submit a transaction late, it says "Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later."
From my understanding, whenever it doesn't show any message, it means that the acceleration is successful. Because when I submit a same transaction a few minutes later (when the 100 transaction limit has definitely been filled) again, it says "This transaction is being accelerated."

It's been a while, but I remember it adding the word "already" if that's the case.
No, it only says "This transaction is being accelerated."
You can test it with the random transaction I submitted some minutes ago. (If it isn't confirmed before you see this post, off course.)
3350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed BTC transaction on: April 24, 2021, 09:12:17 AM
OP is the receiver and he use custodial wallet. It's only possible if OP ask sender to do "the cheap method".
It's possible to do the expensive method (using accelerators) too. It doesn't have to be done by the sender.
For submitting a transaction on such accelerators, the only information you need is the transaction hash.

The ban was probably due to making low value posts.

No need to do anything.
I just accelerated your transaction using ViaBTC free accelerator. It will likely be confirmed in a few hours.

3353  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Loading deleted transaction in Electrum on: April 23, 2021, 10:53:27 PM
Unfortunately, none of the above works. Tried restarting Electrum, Wifi - the transaction does not and will not appear in the history tab.
Try connecting to a different server.

I just imported the sending address of your transaction into a electrum watch-only wallet. It didn't show the outgoing transaction. I changed the server and the transaction appeared.
This should work for you too.

Click on "Tools" at top of the window and then select "network".
Right-click on one of connected nodes from the list you see there and select "Use as server". If the transaction didn't appear or it appeared but as a local transaction, try another server.

3354  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Loading deleted transaction in Electrum on: April 23, 2021, 09:26:16 PM
Anyway, your transaction is 10sat/byte I think you can try to submit it to https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator? to speed up the transaction.
It's not possible.
Some block explorers round the fee rate to the nearest whole number. The exact fee rate of the transaction in question is 9.542 sat/byte.
3355  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Viabtc help on: April 23, 2021, 08:01:35 PM
------
Given the other thread posted by OP, he/she is talking about this transaction.
The transaction has not been flagged as RBF and it is paying 9 sat/byte as transaction fee.
3356  Economy / Services / Re: Can someone mine my Bitcoin transaction on: April 23, 2021, 07:32:16 PM
hosseinimr93 - OP needs an address for payment of $25
Please choose a charity yourself.
3357  Economy / Services / Re: Can someone mine my Bitcoin transaction on: April 23, 2021, 06:44:07 PM
I got the message in green lettering that I had successfully accelerated the tx but I didn't screen cap since I didn't think anyone else would bother trying to accelerate (my bad).  My intention was to have the $25 sent to a charity - if you would like to choose the charity, be my guest.
xhomerx10, I didn't really post the screenshot to be the one who gets the 25 dollar.
And as I already said, it doesn't matter who was the first one who submitted the transction.
I also prefer that money to go to charity.
If you doubt about this or you think I was trying to get that 25 dollar, see the following post please.

3358  Economy / Services / Re: Can someone mine my Bitcoin transaction on: April 23, 2021, 06:23:13 PM
...but I had already submitted it through ViaBTC.
If you accelerate a transaction on ViaBTC successfully, it doesn't show any message.
If you submit a transaction which has already been submitted it says "This transaction is being accelerated."

I submitted the transaction and it didn't show any message. Then I submitted the transaction again to get that message and post the screenshot here.
If you got the message "This transaction is being accelerated" the first time you submitted the transaction, it means that someone else had submitted the transaction before.

It doesn't really matter who submitted the transaction first. What matters is that the transaction has been accelerated and it will likely confirmed in a few hours.
Posted this just to explain how ViaBTC free accelerator works.
3359  Economy / Services / Re: Can someone mine my Bitcoin transaction on: April 23, 2021, 06:06:11 PM
No one here can mine your transaction. In order to confirm a transaction, you must have a big amount of hashrate and no one here has that.
Only mining pools can pick a certain transaction.

I just submitted your transaction on ViaBTC free accelerator. It will likely confirmed in the next block they mine. ViaBTC have about 8.5% of the total hashrate and they should mine one block in every 120 minutes on average.

3360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed BTC transaction on: April 23, 2021, 01:07:32 PM
My wallet is located with Coinbase.
Coinbase.com or their non-custodial wallet?

If you are using coinbase.com wallet, you don't own the private key and the only thing you can do is to use paid accelerators.
If you are using the non-custodial application, you should be able to export the seed and import it into a wallet allowing you spend unconfirmed outputs.
