A real bummer that the Kings weren’t able to win game 7 against the Warriors. I thought they were going to light the beam and end the Warriors legacy but it just wasn’t in the cards. Steph Curry showed why he’s one of the best of all time and they live to face the Lakers. That should be a great series to watch!

Was emailed on this yesterday maybe we get the cooler soon.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this all looks and your feedback once it’s installed. I just wish the cooler could operate in a little warmer temperatures. If it could handle being in 120 degrees then it would be absolutely perfect for operating out here in the desert. I hope these products continue to evolve.

If I were to make a guess at what is fueling this current rally suddenly, I would point to the money suddenly being made on the latest memecoin. I don’t think it’s crazy to assume that some money being made on Pepe’s recent rise is funneling itself into Bitcoin. It’s amazing how these altcoin boom and busts continue to happen after so many years.
3365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 30, 2023, 01:36:45 AM
Suns are not looking good in that first half. They’re shooting efficient but their turnovers and rebounding has been pathetic. They’ve let the Nuggets get 15 more shots in the first half. Hard to win the game when the other team gets to take that many more shots. Durant has 8 rebounds but Ayton only has 3… The rest of the Suns need to start boarding if they’re gonna have a chance.
3366  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is anyone else glad Bitcoin is calming down? on: April 29, 2023, 08:58:17 PM
I think the mempool was mostly getting full because of Ordinals, right? I suspect the initial excitement has died down and people trading Ordinals aren’t consuming as much block space as they were when it was new and exciting. That leaves more space for other transactions which allows the mempool to clear and the cost of transacting to go down.

I think it is very clear that we have moved on from the "laugh at you" stage to the "fight you" stage.  As we all know, this is the final battle before we win.  Regulation is coming, lines will be drawn, people will choose sides, but ultimately the technology behind Bitcoin and those willing to do what is right will prove to be an unstoppable force.  Bitcoin is going to be used in the future by lots of people for lots of things and no amount of posturing is going to stop that.  Politicians have no idea what they're doing, so regulation will seem stupid.  Eventually common sense will prevail though.  We're in the thick of it now.  Buckle up.
3369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 by the end of 2024 - Standard Chartered - Surprised? on: April 29, 2023, 06:01:09 PM
I don't think that we will hit $100K by the end of the year, but if we do I will likely be a seller.  I suspect we will see a steady increase (except the daily trading nonsense) as we head into the halving with a correction afterwards before loading up for the next run to a bubble top...  This means if we do see a crazy new ATH BEFORE the next halving in April of 2024, I will likely be a seller.  This is because I believe a new ATH should come after a correction happens after the halving (halfining).  I don't usually say to trade BTC, but if there were a time to trade it, it would be selling the top just before the halfining and then buy back the bottom once the sellers take profits.  This is the only acceptable trade to make over the next 2 years in my opinion.
3370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how fast do you earn ETH by staking? on: April 29, 2023, 05:55:42 PM
It's easy to look at the math and what has happened in the markets and call ETH staking dumb...  It's not like Bitcoin has done much better...  Personally, I had no intention of ever owning ETH and found myself with some (not a ton) that had accumulated through various means over the years.  I started staking it because why not?  Would I have been better off selling everything at the exact top, sure.  Is that realistic?  No.  I believe that ETH will return and hit new highs again someday.  Maybe then when you look back you'll realize that you weren't making a couple hundred bucks a month, but a couple thousand.  At that point it will look dumb not to have staked.

Crypto is fun.  Do all the things.  Stake.  Mine.  Spend.  Stack.  Do it all!  Just don't try to make money trading it back and forth.  Smiley

I think the people who found themselves with a decent amount of Ethereum done the right thing staking but as I said before they would be making much more if they converted to another coin like Zilliqa for example and Atomic Wallet has the built in exchange with the lowest fees so far so it is a good option.I am not saying that people who staked Ethereum have done wrong, they could have simply earned more if they converted ETH to another coin,in the end I strongly agree with you as I am doing the exact things, staking ZIL,mining RTM,ETH,ETC and ZIL,spending some of them, playing casino when I feel for it,in other words I am enjoying crypto to the fullest.

I am barely willing to hold Ethereum.  I can tell you that I have no desire whatsoever to hold Zilliqa or RTM, or any coin that I don't have a need for.  I actually find myself from time to time needing ETH to buy things I want to own.  Even MATIC I hold some to use for metaverse stuff or cheap NFT transactions when I'm playing around in web3.  I've never found myself having a need for ZIL or RTM...  Seems like their main purpose is probably to get people to part with their ETH or BTC to own a useless coin.  Maybe you have a use for such things, but I don't care how much interest a coin pays when I don't need to use the coin for anything.  It's all just widgets unless it's for a purpose and I doubt anyone is using ZIL for anything other than trying to find a greater fool to sell it to at a profit.
3371  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] ALL ABOUT MT. GOX OTP CARD and YUBIKEY on: April 29, 2023, 05:51:21 PM
Looking to buy any of the above mentioned stuff if anyone is looking to sell Smiley

Would love to help you out but I'm fairly certain I already sold mine.  Now that mtgox is heating up in the news with a potential distribution on the horizon to their creditors, I imagine these types of items will have another day in the sun.  It is a pretty big part of Bitcoin history and as crazy as it is to say, I'm actually glad I got to be a part of it.  I don't believe I have any mtgox memorabilia left (except the silver goxxed coin) but I do still have a Butterfly Labs coffee mug around somewhere.  From time to time I catch someone drinking out of it and let them know the mug cost me 450 BTC so enjoy the coffee!
3372  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Looking for: Vault Coin Cold Storage Coin & Ridge Iron Safe Storage on: April 29, 2023, 05:48:25 PM
I never seen one of these before. That's pretty cool.

I haven't either.  Judging from your difficulty in finding it and the non-responsiveness to your attempts, I have to wonder if this was something that actually exists or what it a project that was never completed.

When you say you "laid eyes on it."  Does that mean you've actually seen on of these in person and that you have confirmed they exist?  This seems like a pretty cool little collectible to not have a presence on this form in one way or another.  Maybe it does and we just aren't aware, but it seems like this could be one of those ideas that never came to be.
3373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is your stand as a Bitcoin holder. on: April 29, 2023, 05:43:59 PM

Images like this make it seem like we are still very early.  Imagine if Bitcoin does take over the world's reserve currency.  You could be in the top 2% of wealthy individuals in the world for a cost of around $50,000 today.  That to me seems pretty amazing.  Sure, it's a risk.  What if Bitcoin fails?  Not to mention $50,000 isn't exactly peanuts as it is now and owning that much BTC is already out of the question for most.  You have to ask yourself what if it succeeds though...  You could be there with front row seats to the biggest wealth transfer in the world, but decided to play it safe...  Buy Bitcoin.

3375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: April 29, 2023, 05:20:22 PM
Once the primaries are over with I hope that there are more opportunities for betting on this election.  I really would feel more comfortable if a site like Stake (shameless promotion alert) offered this as a bet.  Sure, I'd put some money down and likely on Trump.  I think the smarter move might be to bet on Biden having another four years though.  At least that way you get to make a little bit of money as a hedge for the disaster that the Biden administration would continue to let unfold on his watch.  If Biden loses, that is it's own reward and worth whatever amount you lost.  Although I think America is already in too much debt to be turned around at this point anyway.  The covid overreaction was the nail in the coffin.
3376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 29, 2023, 05:16:18 PM
In the Suns vs Nuggets series, the sportsbook odds heavily favor the Phoenix Suns, but I'm not going to fall for that because I believe that the Nuggets are built to be successful in these playoffs, and they can at least reach the WCF.

The Phoenix Suns beat the Clippers in 5, but that was when PG and Leonard were out. They beat an undermanned team, but this Nuggets team is healthy, and they have the home court advantage. So, I think being an underdog presents a huge opportunity for the bettors.

The Suns have gotten better because of KD, but honestly, I believe their starters will be worn out in this series and since Durant is already an injury prone player, so I don't trust them.

Yeah Denver is getting oddly disrespected a little.  They still have home court advantage.  I think Suns are the trendy pick once they landed Durant.  I'm betting on Denver to start the series.  It's going to be a tough cover for the Suns trying to cover jokic.  I like the over in this as well.  Think it won't be much of a defensive battle.  Beat offense wins this series.

I think Ayton will be able to rise to the occasion and keep Joker from going absolutely insane like he did last series.  You also have to figure in that Jokic isn't 100%.  Denver wasn't even sure if he would be able to play in the final two games of the series, so that has to be taken into account a bit as well.  I actually think both teams are full of talent and this will be a great game.  I'm sort of thinking that Denver will be able to take game 1, just because the Suns lack experience playing together, but I don't think Denver wins this series without an injury to Durant, Booker, or Ayton.  If those three can stay healthy and adjust to what the Nuggets are doing, I think Phoenix takes this series in 5-6 games.
3377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 103: More In-Depth about Return To Player (RTP) (With Poll) on: April 29, 2023, 05:13:32 PM
I voted 97%.  I think if people are okay with a 3% inflation rate then they should be ok with casinos taking 3% of their funds as well.  Why not?  Funny to see that is the amount that has received the most votes.  This shows that people are just ok with losing 3% of their money as it has been engrained into us our whole lives with inflation targets.  Economics aside, 3% seems reasonable to me for a fee paid for services rendered, in this case allowing users to bet with the potential to make money.  It's important to figure other things too.  Some casinos have crazy withdrawal fees and betting requirements that should also be calculated.
3378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 29, 2023, 05:10:57 PM
This fight surely had it's share of drama.  Between Tank Davis claiming that people were trying to rub steroid cream on him in order to get him to fail a test, to Tank having a mole in Ryan Garcia's camp giving him information, to Ryan Garcia having an injury he suffered in training...  Not to mention the violence charge Davis was facing...  Then the bet for the purse...  Ryan Garcia wanting to be Tank Davis' friend afterwards...  This was one of the more unusual fights in recent memory.  It seemed to me that the drama surrounding the fight was bigger than the fight itself.
3379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: April 29, 2023, 05:08:46 PM
I don't think it's debatable if any other coin could possibly be the King of Altcoins.  I think market cap speaks volumes for itself and no other coin is close.  So many other coins also take advantage of Ethereum's blockchain to process their tokens, etc...  What would the altcoin market even be without ETH?  How would things like USDT and Polygon even work without ETH?  I also think the amount of regulators that are in bed with ETH already will make it difficult for any other coin to reach that level of success.  People have begun shutting doors behind BTC and ETH to lock out any newcomers.  Big money has spoken.
3380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 29, 2023, 05:06:20 PM
This one is all over the internet now.

Dillon Brooks Insults LeBron James While Reacting To Their Mid-Game Confrontation: "I Don't Respect No One Until They Come In And Give Me 40"

I guess Brooks can now respect LeBron, since the Lakers beat them by 40 points. The Lakers are so scary in these playoffs; they have proven to everyone that they are still here. Although they are the underdogs, beating Memphis in 6 is not as easy as we think, but the Lakers dominated the series.

Lastly, I would like to say that Memphis DYNASTY IS OVER!

I'd say it's just getting started.  Ja and jarren Jackson are only 23 and Desmond bane is only 24.  These kids are young.  This team is just getting started.  They need more experience and adams getting hurt, hurt them.  How do you break up a team where it's star core is all under 25 years old lol?

I'm pretty sure that the Grizzlies are tired of Dillon Brooks and his attitude.  The LeBron poking the bear comment was probably the last straw and I think Brooks knows it.  That's why he was so defeated in the series after that.  I think he's a bad influence on Ja Morant, and they need to start surrounding that kid with people who are going to make sure he doesn't get shot in a strip club parking lot pretending to be a gangster some random night.  The icing on the cake is that LeBron didn't even stick around after the game to shake hands.  He sent a message to the league.  Put some respect on his name.
