This guy apparently placed a wager that Bitcoin will not go under $1000.

Apparently he had to eat his HAT!!!!.

Since this thread is shit, let me ask a real question here

Why is it that everytime we have a "crash", tons of stupid poster decide to make threads about them finding a "solution"?

Why are they here if they cant understand shit about bitcoin or technology in general? parasites? get-rich-quick-tards?

We depend on you and your hateful posts so that we can survive!

I have seen you posts mate.
You are a little prick.

So you automatically know i'm talking about you?
Great... mate, now only wish i have a cure for you....

Go back to drinking your tea....mate

OK, maybe you weren't talking about me but you have LOLed at a very racist comment on another thread.

And I don't like racism.
It could have sounded funny, but it was a VERY racist comment.

If that is not the case, then I apologize and I will buy you a beer Smiley

OMG wow.... you're the first retard that i actually like. Can i facebook-friend you?

Read my EDIT

I do mean it.

EDIT: Scratch that, just saw some more of your posts.

You could have explained all this things to me in your first post  Wink
There was no need to waste bandwidth Smiley

Do you get me now?

I couldn't have. I didn't know how little you knew at that point.
I had to incrementally lower my expectations until it reached a level where I had to learn to communicate in "idiot".

And unfortunately, judging from your reply, I still failed to properly lower my standards to a point where a baboon could understand.
No offense to baboons. I'm sure they would have already understood they were wrong and dropped the subject.

I'm sorry I failed you. I don't speak your language. Forgive me.

This is what I mean...

YOU ARE BEING A DICK!!!!

That being said, I doubt you have much knowledge.
Someone knowledgeable would have explained to me why my idea is stupid with VALID information to begin with.

Welcome to my ignore list you little prick.

3371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are producing a "Bitcoin For Dummies" video series, watch our first video now on: March 28, 2014, 01:50:02 PM
Well when you are a youtuber - always someone will hate your videos Smiley and always someone will love them! Smiley

This is art! Smiley in a part.

Hey, I said I am sorry.

What else do you want?

You might as well ask why a bullet didn't go through bullet proof glass on a Mercedes, and then ask why we don't use a Mercedes instead of a BMW.

Both Mercedes and Beemers are Shite IMO.

I have both and they are both in the garage getting fixed.
Cheap Japanese cars has proven to be more reliable to me.....

What does that have to do with our discussion? Fuck knows, you brought it up....

That being said...

3374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't an exchange do this already? on: March 28, 2014, 01:30:57 PM
You are being a dick by the way you respond.

You could have explained things but instead you were calling me things.
That's why you are being a dick.

I highly recommend to go back and read your own posts.

I highly recommend that next time you provide valid info before you call people stupid and ignorant.
That would make your arguement more acceptable  Wink

That being said and since you know so much on the subject then maybe you can clear this out for me:
How comes the U.S. and U.K. secret services COULDN'T hack the Silk Road website?

They depended on DPR's mistakes.

So once again, to my original question: Does it not provide more security?
Even by a little bit?

3375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't an exchange do this already? on: March 28, 2014, 01:26:32 PM
OK, so I guess you can hack any server without knowing it's location/ip right?
Right. You don't need a location or IP to hack a server, you need a network connection. You need to be able to send and receive datagrams to and from the server. It doesn't matter how you connect to the server, if you can connect to it, you can hack it through that connection. Hopefully it goes without saying that you don't need a location or IP to connect to a Tor hidden service.

Tor hidden services only provide anonymity and end-to-end encryption. Nothing more.

Finally a proper response.
Thank you Smiley

Can I ask if Tor was to be used, would it not provide more security?

You're aware he's already answering your question right?
That Tor does not provide more security...

Can you stop being such a dick please?
Thank you  Smiley

I'm not being a dick. I'm telling you you're wrong.
Stop being stubborn for a moment and actually read what several posters are trying to explain you.

You are being a dick by the way you respond.

You could have explained things but instead you were calling me things.
That's why you are being a dick.

3377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem with China, Russia on: March 28, 2014, 01:15:35 PM
I think the main problem China, Russia and all other countries of anti-american bloc are having with Bitcoin is SHA-256, as it is written by NSA. The same problem US had if SHA-256 were a KGB product. Strong governments won't allow anything that they dont understand.

Dumbest thing i've heard today. I doubt anyone can top it. woot.... this forum is great.

Are you great at passing statement or good at giving proper reasoning ?

The OP does have a point.

SHA-256 was designed by the NSA.

3378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't an exchange do this already? on: March 28, 2014, 11:42:40 AM
I'm sorry, I can't cure stupid.

Apparently there is not much you can do anyway.
So it's all good.

You don't understand what Tor does and doesn't do.

It's not a magical shield that prevents your systems from being exploited.
It's not a security service, it's an anonymity service.

If your system sucks, it doesn't matter how many "anonymous" nodes your traffic goes through, you're still going to exploit the system and get your hands on delicious bitcoins.
All Tor would do is provide a painfully slow service and extra anonymity for the owner to run off with the coins.

It's a terrible gamble to put coins in an online wallet and it takes a special kind of stupid to drop your coins on a service hosted through Tor.

You still don't get my point.
So I will not continue this conversation with you.

Let me just say this:
WHAT IF Bitstamp let's say that already has good security measures decides to increase it by using Tor?
Or the blockchain.info wallet service was to be done through Tor?

INCREASING SECURITY!!!

THAT IS ALL I AM TRYING TO SAY!!!!

Can you stop being such a dick please?
Thank you  Smiley
3379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't an exchange do this already? on: March 28, 2014, 11:31:57 AM
Think of it this way.

If MtGox was a Tor based exchange, would there be any problems with it?
No, because Mark knows that Tor cannot be hacked.

So.....

You have absolutely no idea what caused the mtgox issues.

The method of reaching the servers has nothing to do with it.
Tor doesn't provide any additional security, all it does is provide anonymity.

The security of a website, their systems and their back-end is entirely unrelated to whether Tor is used or not.
If you do not understand this you're not even remotely qualified to make any comment on this subject.

All Tor would accomplish is make it even easier for the owner to run off with the coins.

What caused the issues was Mark and Mark alone.
He is a thief and a greedy pig.

How would a respectable exchange (who is already operating) run off with your coins?
What are they going to claim?
Malleability attack? LOL

Yes, the security of a website and their back-end is what matters but additional security is WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY.

Also, if you do not know how Tor can protect you then clearly you have no clue on the subject.

"The method of reaching the servers has nothing to do with it."
OK, so I guess you can hack any server without knowing it's location/ip right?
You must be very bright!!!!

Seriously,
Please stick to your Doge coins and stop wasting bandwidth.

I'm sorry, I can't cure stupid.

Apparently there is not much you can do anyway.
So it's all good.

No, because Mark knows that Tor cannot be hacked.

So.....
This I do not think or do you want to be thorough

How would the hot wallets be hacked if the server is unknown?
