3361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 28, 2021, 03:57:56 PM
We should always protect our children from this because once they start gambling at a young age, they will learn a lifelong habit that could destroy their lives. Plus, it's a fact that children who gamble at an early age could develop a second problem: gambling addiction.
I know first hand how damaging this can be to the mind of a child and if you have ever been the victim of such, you would be as well. Parents, this means we have to be a part of the solution. We need to teach our children to be cognizant of their actions and to understand and accept responsibility for them.
3362  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seuntjies DiceBot -Multi-Site, multi-strategy betting bot for dice. With Charts! on: March 28, 2021, 02:01:33 PM
Hi Seuntjies. I have a question on dicebot variable in advanced setting mode.

Let said the bot stop due to profit made, then i reset manually on the stat and the graph chart is enough to stop the bot from multiply from the previous winning?

Thanks

I don't think graph chart has anything to do with the bot settings. Why don't you show us what settings you used in dicebot's advanced settings mod? It will make it easier to pinpoint the exact issue.

3363  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ Paradice.in | 🍀 Provably Fair 🎲 | Rain☔| 30 sec Faucet | 1% House Edge 💰| on: March 28, 2021, 01:48:42 PM
If they can't give his full winnings, they need to settle it amicably as this person will not stop bothering them about this case.
They need to move on with this mistake. And learn from it.

I'm wondering if they would pay any significant winnings at all. What if somebody made a tiny deposit and won the jackpot?
When I did a little research, I see that this is not their first case of such suspicious behavior towards players.

Paradice.im SCAM accusation

Although in the title of that topic is the domain 'paradice.im', user Cratoon continued to accuse the player of faucet abuse similar to this case, which confirms that it is their casino.

I think casinos have the right to allow, or reject, withdraw from Faucet.

Of course they do, but then it should be clearly defined in ther ToS.

Then again, how do you explain this kind of promotion?

3364  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Paradice.in fraud accusation on: March 26, 2021, 11:21:48 PM
Once again. There was a faucet abuse. Casino management decided to reject this payment in conformity with our TOS. This is the final decision, and it is not a subject to change.

I would still like to hear what kind of abuse is that actually about?
Did he break any company's terms of use? Which ones?
Did he use a bot or multiple accounts? Was there a bug or a glitch on the website?

I'm sure a lot of the potential players would like to know that so they don't end up in the same situation.
3365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: March 26, 2021, 09:58:03 PM
I'm really excited about Tesla giving their customers the option to pay with Bitcoin because it's great for their brand. Bitcoin is really amazing and I can't wait for people to realize how easy and secure it is to buy with it.
One day, everyone will be using Bitcoin. It'll definitely be here sooner than people expect.
3366  Economy / Reputation / Re: THE TRUST SYSTEM: Are Counter-Feedbacks Counter Productive? on: March 26, 2021, 08:48:11 PM
As far as I can tell, you are both respected members of this forum, and I hold you in high regard. Given the number of potential scammers here, I really see no reason for honest members to fight each other. This kind of situation will only be beneficial to them.
3367  Economy / Services / Re: 🌬🌊Signature Design Service -Ibizadreams design🌊 [20$]💥 on: March 26, 2021, 08:03:45 PM
Don't share the BBCode of your portfolio, someone can easily copy-paste the BBCode and replace with their own project.

Just upload the image of your signature design.

I believe this will be easily detected and will be considered plagiarism. And besides, all these bbcode designs are already available in their relevant campaigns.
3368  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: [UPUTSTVO] Kako napraviti Bitcoin Vanity adresu on: March 26, 2021, 06:30:13 PM
Zanimaju me samo moguce pretnje, generalno.

3369  Economy / Services / Re: desperately need work on: March 25, 2021, 07:53:52 AM
thanks for one those replied to my post....yes i am learning some skills now like coding etc...and i am ready to work hard now and i will start again in my life...thanks for replies and concerns ....

Fuck it, you have to find a job! The real job. I don't care what the fuck it is, but you will find a job, you will keep that fucking house in order, you will pay the bills, and you will make sure your mother doesn't have to worry.

I lost my father, too. For six months I was unable to find a job, and we were slowly eating up our savings. There were many changes to come about, which also made me nervous and had me depressed. To top it all off, I was sick for quite a while. The loss of my father left a big hole in my heart.
I started my new job at the local grocery store. To help out I took on a few extra shifts, and suddenly I started making money. By the time I got a second job as a reporter at a local newspaper, I had been working for a total of only seven months. Now I have a good job, a good salary and a good wife by my side. And the baby's on its way. Smiley

So, don't be that fucking loser, and stop being so wimpy. Things don't just happen to you. You can't hide in your room forever feeling sorry for yourself.
Stop wasting time on an online forum, get out and find that fucking job!

3370  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Porez na bitcoin i kriptovalute 2018-2019 on: March 25, 2021, 07:01:01 AM

3371  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ Paradice.in | 🍀 Provably Fair 🎲 | Rain☔| 30 sec Faucet | 1% House Edge 💰| on: March 23, 2021, 04:19:56 PM
I just only see paradice only trying to find excuse about how to handle this "faucet abuse".

If the player just played by a faucet and won, I don't think it's a faucet abuse. The Paradice should really explain better what kind of abuse it was exactly.
I checked their Terms of Use and FAQ, there is no mention anywhere that faucet winnings cannot be withdrawn. Moreover, they have already stated that they allow smaller amounts won from the faucet to be withdrawn, so this is clearly a mistake on their part.

I can't help but wonder what would happen if someone deposited a small amount and got incredibly lucky to win such a substantial amount? Would they still deny the withdrawal? How would that be different from the current situation?

Yea, that's why i said they are trying to excuse about this problem. If their ToS said we are not eligible withdraw or winning amount from faucet can't be withdrawn , this won,'f caused this problem

Exactly, if they don't want to avoid people who want to bet with the faucet rewards or winning with them and keep winning is prohibited then they should not allowed such person to bet or should the limits are mentioned in their site but none of them available still they call it as abuse which is nit acceptable though.

Not only that, but they explicitly state in their ANN post that it is possible to win money with bonus rewards.

So, all that cherry tree stuff is bullshit when someone wins big? Shouldn't that have been in your Terms of Service from the start?
Btw, I saw this in your ANN post:

I will never trust a casino with my money if they deny payments based on arbitrarily made-up rules.
3372  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Porez na bitcoin i kriptovalute 2018-2019 on: March 23, 2021, 04:06:21 PM

3373  Other / Off-topic / Re: Time machine/time travel on: March 23, 2021, 03:50:05 PM
Considering how well Bitcoin is able to handle itself, and how carefully the halvings are planned up to the year 2140, I wouldn't be surprised if Satoshi is indeed a time traveller. So he went back to 2009, created Bitcoin, mined about a million of them for himself, and went back to his own time. The big question now is when that is! It could be years or even centuries from now that his old Bitcoins start moving to new addresses.
If your theory is time travel theory, it has a giant hole  Cheesy Dive into your story, if Satoshi comes from the future, he goes back to 2009 to create Bitcoin. So, at his point in the future (2140), who created Bitcoin for him to realize that Bitcoin could be so profitable?
<cut>

According to quantum mechanics, there was no Bitcoin in that timeline when Satoshi came up with the idea to travel back in time. There was only an idea in his head.

Nice story! Still, imho if this would have happened (or will happen) then I'd expect:
* he would have also provide(d) a solution or explanation for the network congestion and for using Bitcoin for "paying at the grocery store", maybe even something better than LN
* he wouldn't have allowed the jackals get to come so easily with their claims about being him or having "the real Bitcoin"

It's possible that it's all part of a "great plan". Perhaps network congestion will be the factor that propels Bitcoin to astronomical values in the future. It might be something we are not aware of yet.
3374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new projects/ coins do not have ANN on bitcointalk ? on: March 23, 2021, 03:31:35 PM
Personally, I dont like projects that dont have an ANN thread here. Such projects representatives operate mostly on telegram and can easily delete an inconvenient question, delete my post, delete their answers and etc. While here, if they make an answer, this becomes public and store in the Internet archives. You can get away here with saying here A, doing B, while planning to do C.

I also don’t like projects that are being promoted exclusively on social media and similar platforms. I can see no reason why new project should not have an ANN thread on BitcoinTalk where they have direct and open communication to all the community. One reason could be, as other members have mentioned, that they are afraid of critical thinking which is just another big red flag.

If you're scared of criticism and don't want open communication with your audience, you shouldn't even begin a project unless you're planning on committing a scam from the very start.
3375  Economy / Reputation / Re: 3 Users Harassing the Trust System on: March 23, 2021, 02:49:57 PM
...I asked YOSHIE to sign a message after password reset via email during inactivity...

Actually, you wanted a great deal more:

Password changed, telegram changed, wallet changed and I am sure that the story would be very believable if all of this could be proven by YOSHIE himself with documents from his hospitalization as did Phinnaeus Gage before his death.

Care to explain what gives you the authority to ask any user for personal information? Not to mention that medical information is further protected by patient confidentiality.

As I have said, I have no intention of hating YOSHIE but my suspicions about ownership of his account must be substantiated with a signed message.

Let's stop right here. I don't think YOSHIE (or anyone else, for that matter) has to substantiate anything to you or to anyone else here.
You don't trust a particular user? Fine. Don't do business with him. Put him on Ignore and remove him from your Trust network. Case closed.
You have evidence or indications that a user is cheating, scamming or might do some other bad things on the forum? Great! Open a scam accusation or reputation thead, present your evidence and ask for the community's opinion. Case closed.

Don't force me to fight injustice here myself, I don't want to be considered a troll and a forum contributor hater.

It's amusing when you say that while reading this nonsense:

In fact, shasan is not too brave to say that YOSHIE has bad loans because of YOSHIE's reputation. But if that happens to someone else, then I'm sure he will do it right away. Even he was not brave enough to come here to dispel the speculation about the loan.

What the fuck was that? So you've accused YOSHIE of loan default without proper evidence, and you've also accused shasan of being a coward?
You don't just throw accusations around unless you can prove them.

Clearly, you have some personal grudges, resentments, or frustrations against YOSHIE, but you're not man enough to bring them up with your main account, preferring instead to hide behind a newbie throwaway account (by your own admission). So, who is the real coward in this scenario?
3376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: March 21, 2021, 10:54:17 PM
You don't need to be 100% accurate for all of your trade calls. No one can be  100% perfect in trading. You can lose some of your trades but win majority of the trade and can still be in overall profit. If you manage your money well, you can be a good profitable trader.

For trading you should not have emotional inclination and should not let emotions dictate your trades. The best traders are the ones who can do trade regardless of the daily movements in the market. They manage their emotion as well. For better control of emotions, you need to reduce your risky trades.
There are different types of trading as there are different types of trading strategies. However, I believe that planning and preparing for a trade before executing it is critical.
3377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 21, 2021, 10:40:43 PM
Based on my personal experience, most of the gambling sites does not support BNB, I don't know the exact reason but DOGE and XRP are good enough as they don't have a high fees and in terms of liquidity, we can consider these coins as really liquid.

LTC, I think, falls into this category as well. I'm not sure why, but when it comes to gambling, Litecoin has always been my preferred coin.
Probably because it is the oldest of all these currencies, afaik.
3378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Another Twitte for DOGE COIN on: March 21, 2021, 10:34:21 PM
As hilarious as this is, new investors throwing money they don't have with loans they can't repay just to buy Doge

Elon Musk, richest man in the world and the greatest meme lord
Lmao, at least Elon honest

Moral of the story:
No one thought this Doge business was a good investment. So naturally they did it anyway. Smiley
3379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new projects/ coins do not have ANN on bitcointalk ? on: March 21, 2021, 10:26:08 PM
Social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit,Youtube and even in Telegram are todays most effective platforms you can use to introduce a new crypto projects because of its ability to target audiences based on preferences because this platforms collects user data and suggest relevant ads that can easily target and attract investors this is more effective today rather than making ann here I have also seen to many projects on cmc almost everyday but no ann here.

Yes. In fact, there are many startups these days who have even incorporated a staff of social media managers and marketing experts to cover online content and foster a digital community for their product. While using social media to promote new crypto products are almost mandatory, I still wouldn’t overlook the importance of the bitcointalk community. This has been the birthplace of many successful projects in the past and I believe it will be so at least for the foreseeable future.

Looking for someone offering cheap time travel that goes backwards (past time).

Actually, I have one of those that's been lying in my garage for some time, but unfortunately the gearbox is busted so I can't put it in reverse.
Would you be interested in something like that?

I reckon 1 million bitcoins of 2011 vintage would be about right.

You gotta love those freshly minted vintage coins... Wink
