The previous difficulty was only 288ish and took less than 2 hours with 5-15% rejects.

I believe it might be someone learning to scrypt mine or they're purposely burning off these low diff blocks for whatever reason.

3367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][PWC] Powercoin rejuvenated, Updated client v1.011 [Mandatory update] on: August 01, 2013, 05:24:50 PM
Whoever just joined, is causing alot of rejects. I'm now seeing about 40%.

Is it because of the very low diff ?

HT xD

SHA/Scrypt hybrid

If if this where possible, I'm not absolutely sure maybe it actually is (but I don't think so), it would not make any sense to develop such a thing. It definitely would be inferior and more expensive than a specialized device.

Sure its possible and likely already here.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the LTC network alone jumped by 50% in a matter of days, some weeks ago. Feathercoin, Novacoin and others are also turning into giants.

A ASIC that can mine scrypt and sha? I doubt it.

I don't. But what do I know. lol

Its all greek code to me. Grin

Somehow i share that feeling that something is already out there, but the recent Network Spikes, i'm sure was caused by the new Multipool Poolhoppers. Fucking up the Diff for everybody so we all have to Poolhopping.

If you meant the multi-junkcoin rapers, I do not believe it is them because the significant difficulty jumps have been sustained. Also, most of the increases happened before coin hopping became popular.

LTC difficutly :
2013-07-30 - 892.55283431
2013-05-28 - 595.65349676
2013-03-12 - 38.89263410

I predicted the asic invasion of the alts would start after the Bitcoin difficulty surpassed the 30-50M mark, months ago.

Soon, the junk coins that hold enough value will be devoured just like Bitcoin was. :/

BTC or any electronic currency can be considered, the mark of the beast. eg. the ancient Sumarian symbol for the number six, is something that looks alot like the letter 'W'.

WorldWideWeb = 666 yo !

Bitcoin: Liberate Money!

To do that we need to have every country develop their own crypto-greenback hybrid currency. Wink

You guy must be the most pathetic douche bag trolls I've ever seen.

You do realize that he's probably just feeding you stuff to keep you goin ?

So what if someone isn't a coder, tekkie or crypto expert ! He's trying and unlike you nooobs, he's learning something.

I'm not here to argue or respond to any more of your dribble. I just wanted to take the opportunity to say, YOU SUCK. Smiley

Honestly.. what do you think most of the alt coins are ?

How is it that a coin (and there have been many) just barely weeks old can be 200-300% more profitable than BTC ?

Do you enjoy the sound of market bubbles popping ?

I am not going to argue the trust vote issue because the OP is blatently asking for bribes.

See the giveaway's original post below and decide for yourself.

HT xD

WTG ! That statement was all I needed to see to justify dumping this bank ridden coin.

WARNING !! THE CREATOR OF project infinite THINKS ITS OK TO GIVE TRUST VOTES TO PEOPLE WHO RUN SCAM COIN GIVEAWAY THREADS.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=256236.80

You may try to brush it off or play stupid, but its easy to see the game being play here with this coin.

Chill, I do not see what you think is wrong with beta testing new project?

About trust - although I do not care who gives trust to who, but as far as I understand he gave trust to person who ran THIS coin giveaway not some scam coin. He believes in this coin so nothing bad.

If you do not know - project infinite is project for THIS coin

PS. Dictionary, meaning of "trust" - firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

So he gave person trust because he trusts him, it does not matter what are reasons for his trust.

Dear all,

I've been a strong supporter of Infinitecoin since day one. Since I started mining early and with much distributed power, I passed the billion IFC mark only after a couple intense weeks of mining. So yeah, I own more than 1 % of the total final amount. And no, I'm not selling.

In this thread, I will give away 1,000,000 IFC each to everyone who meets the criteria listed below. The reason I'm doing this is because I want more people to discover this fantastic cryptocurrency, despite what has happened on the open market over the past few days, a currency that I truly believe has a bright future if we give it time to mature.

If you:

-- Have more than 20 posts here, but less than 250
-- Seriously consider liking http://facebook.com/Infinitecoin
-- Promise not to dump the coins for pennies at the nearest exchanger

Then please post your IFC wallet here, and I will send you 1,000,000 IFC as soon as possible. I will check the thread a couple of times a day. I have decided to limit this giveaway to the first 47 users here who qualify. 47 million IFC up for grabs - first come, first severed!

Finally, I would be delighted if you gave me a trust point. I also take bribes at

BTC: 17rssKJRAo1yA9qwJc95JAcyyNMprbHFuJ
XPM: Ab3dSvM7tB5sL3Kn84YvAkWzCFQoxxb9tp

No amount is too small. Thanks. Shoot!

Thanks bud, great promotion!

Edit, have given you your trust feedback (first person I ever did that for)...

Selling trust ratings for  a few pennies of IFC is not cool.

Happy to have some coins and check out his website but I won't be helping set him up with cheap false trust for scams.
yes trust is for 2 way transactions not one way transactions

Then why exactly did it let me do it? Go talk to the site admin, not me! There is a comment section, nowhere on my trust rating did I say I put up any money! But the guy promised to send the coins and came through! Jesus christ! People can always READ the comments in the trust section and see what exactly happened, okay bud??? Next time I choose to do something, should I run it by you all first? LMAO
i was speaking to the OP, you are obviously free to give trust to whomever you wish

Well that is awful funny because you seem to commenting regarding mine and the other chaps comments as shown by the little sub thread above... But hey so glad to have your blessing there even if it contradicts your original comment. Lol

You should read ELiOt's comments again as both are valid.

Selling merit points IS SKETCHY (especially when done under the false pretences of a give-away) and those that choose to vote for the OP are free to do so.

Those that do sell or fake votes should be aware that this will cast them under a similar light.

This also a huge dis-service to Bitcointalk and their efforts to provide us with a viable rating system.

HT xD

I will ask you the same as the other chap, please show me where I sold a vote? I recieved the million BEFORE I gave him trust, so no vote was sold. Making up BS only serves to discredit you.

Edit: And just for your information I do not buy or sell anything on these boards and so quite frankly I couldnt give a damn what light people cast on me! Seems to me that the voting system on here is a waste of time anyway as I have not seen anyone with a trust rating... Also as I have sated before there is a comment section with the trust rating that people are free to read... The guy said he would send a million and a million he did send, as clearly stated in the comment. No BTC was risked by me and that too is clearly reflected on the trust I gave.

Also, I assume gweedo said something useless either pleading his case or claiming to be vindicated by the fact that he's ignored by people. Something along the lines of Gandhi's quote. If I'm wrong, or he said more than 2 sentences, please do quote him.

It is funny cause my ignore count on one page was down and now it is back so I guess my opinion still does matter to you Wink.

It is also so funny cause I am ignored and when I show investors who care so much about my ignore ratings obviously. They always say how you ignored? I always answer, bitcoin also means don't have an opinion, that is against majority. But I read alot my older posts and the things I started talking about and what got me my ignores, is the exact problem that a lot of people talk about but whatever. I love being ignored it makes me work that much more, and that much more better to just prove that my opinions have nothing to do with my business, companies or even my trust.

I know exactly where you're coming from Gweedo. Most of the 10-16 began to ignore me soon after I asked some honest questions about ozcoins dgm setup. The abusers of this system will one day be known if the mods ever get around to setting up properly.

Did I hurt your feelings ? jackjack Huh Uber LMfreakinAO because I don't know who you are !

Yeah don't worry most people around here use the ignore button as the "LALALALALALA I am not listening button" I get a lot of support in my PMs but it is what it is. Just take that ignore abuse and use to drive your hustle!

YOP. Smiley

Now plz excuse me while I,  .. BURN ONE DOWN.
