It's a sequel. Go watch Part 1. It's pretty good.

What version is that supposed to be?

Where's the inscription on the blade?

Does Muela even produce straight handles?

WalletBit will return these funds to the Bitcoin addresses they were sent from.

That's amazingly stupid and will lead to another round of glorious drama.

Seems like the correct thing to do. The orders were so screwed up, it was obvious. Why would someone send .07 BTC for a $1499 ASIC, I know bitcoins are worth a bit but wow. The normal reaction upon seeing this glaring error is to return to the order website to make sure everything is normal. WalletBit's payment page was horrible. It gave no inclination that it knew who you were or what you were ordering. Using these messed up orders as placeholders opens the door for a bunch of other bullshit. Oh I can hold 3 $1499 units with .15 BTC? LOL.

I'm talking about the "refunding to the adress the BTC were sent from". THIS is going to lead to drama, because there's going to be a bunch of dudes that sent their BTC directly from MTGox etcetera.

Paging Jgarzik.  Party of one.  Jgarzik, party of 1!  Your seat at the ASIC table is ready.  JGarzik, party of 1!

I think this is one dinner you'll be happy to eat alone. Smiley

At least he gets dinner. Unlike at "Chez Papillon" where they're seating guests while the kitchen is still waiting for ingredients.

Sure is.

Usually they look like this though.

Maybe we need a thread somewhere else. Maybe this just turns into a Southern Illinois bitcoin meetup and it's the middle of the summer with no one throwing in for food so we have to pull gar out of the spillway. I'd still like to do this, and gar are delicious when you fry them up like crab cakes. They aren't exactly filling like real meat. I'm hoping to get enough people together to the point we can either get a whole hog or a sweet as caterer who knows how to cook a whole hog for us. Bitcoin's probably big enough that if this becomes a thing we can hopefully get a cow, a pig, and a caterer.

I can get a hog and a guy with experience in preparing it.

I don't think he has been back here since the first Avalon went online.

Ignore my question is the other thread, then.

Hope everything goes smooth during the $147,000 USD upgrade. Can't wait to see the new forum.

You won't see any changes (other than performance). It's just a web server switch.  Wink

Sell individual shoots?

Rebilling is the one thing that keeps most people from signing up in the first place.
3374  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The "I Have An ASIC" Thread on: January 31, 2013, 10:39:22 PM

Very nice!

Haha I love how BFL was first to the ASIC game and they end up finishing last. But, I do understand that developing for 65nm is a bit more difficult than 110nm (Avalon) or 130nm (ASICMiner).

Still...

If I believed in dank, I'd say it's karma. The ones silently working on their project and keeping quiet, finish first, while the guy doing the weird and sometimes offensive song and dance routine on the forums has nothing to show.... But Fans.... Both sorts.

That's cute, paying with checks. It's like the 60s all over again.

You would be surprised we issue over six figures in company checks each month.  Not sure why they are popular but someone people prefer them over ACH or Bank Wire.  Then again a check is only as good as the person writing it ...

Is that in the US? I've heard that checks are still weirdly popular in the States, but I always have trouble believing it. The last time I saw someone using a check here in Germany was sometime in the 80s.
