Bitcoin is way ahead in transaction volume against bch. Transaction speed and fee is not a good measure of comparison since they do not have the same tx volumes. And bch price growing rapidly isn't either. For all we know, it is just being pumped by a whale.

Part of my bitcoin is used in trading, I have to sell and buy it in order to make money. But there are bitcoins that I hold for a long time, and those bitcoins are waiting for the price to reach 10K before it get exchanged to fiat. |

Since this is a market where fud and hype prevails, you can also consider feeling the mood of the market. If you see some coins getting some hype or suddenly get much attention here in bitcointalk, it will probably pump.

You must have heard about the latest news that popped up yesterday that BCC has managed to get its first 8 MB block onboard as promised, so is it time for it to grow back and jump to higher prices again? There's one more shocking part of this scenario that they don't know who mined this block and it is being said that a single miner/collective group of miners tried to just mine it behind the scenes and remained non-traceable. Is it a thing to think upon and worry about?
Is this the cause of the current price pump? I thought it was just being pumped by whales, now I see the reason. |

I do not think the price will reach 5k this friday. I am selling at 4300 because it is already a good profit for me and I think that is the resistance at this point.I will keep on buying and selling at 4300 top and 4000 bottom until the price breaks the 4.3K resistance level.

No matter what happens, never sell for loss. Wait for ETH to go back up before deciding to sell it. Yeah, you missed the train for BTC. Do not do the same mistake with ETH. Once the price of BTC slows down, the price of ETH will recover and go back up. Then you can sell your ETH and convert it to BTC. That way you will still make profit even though it will take longer time.

Segwit will trim down the transaction size so that we can fit more transactions to a block. In effect, it will hasten transaction confirmation and lower the fee. But I still do not know how low the fees per byte will get. And fees is dependent on the size, not on value. So your 2$ coffee can have different fees depending on how many inputs you have.

Scalping is a very short term trading, like any other trading here also we need to buy low and sell high. But you do not need any specific strategy for scalping as the total time requirement for scalping would be less than 5 minutes. Still, it is not recommended way of trading for crypto traders as usually crypto markets are known for high volatility. I do not think there is a time requirement on current set up of trading platforms for cryptocurrencies. I can be wrong. If I am right, scalping can be much be done. But you must find a pair that have a small spread so that scalping would work. And actually, volatility can work for scalping. |

Altcoin hodlers dumping for bitcoin. No one can resist bitcoin now, it is already 4200$ a piece. Altcoins crashing just means the price of bitcoin will go even higher. Nice profit for bitcoin hodlers. But also a perfect time to get some cheap altcoin if you have bitcoin you don't want to convert to cash.
