I have seen a guy loosing 1000 bitcoins in just one bet on justdice and another guy loosing more than 300+ btc on pd. but at that time btc was much less than 200$. This guy is really crazy or too rich to afford that much of money.
I agree seeing someone to bet 50 bitcoin when the price is already on 6K$ I really cant comprehend what kind of reasong was that ? maybe he was just crazy or making stories , Owning already a 50 worth of bitcoins make you already rich I Just cant understand why you need to be richer ? are you not contented in your life ? Probalby they have hundred of thousand of Bitcoin so they do not mind losing 300 or 1000 bitcoins in one roll. I can also do that if I have that amount of BTC  . That may sounds crazy but as i said if I have hundred of thousands of BTC that 1000 BTC is nothing but some dust. Wow you're such a rich man! Just for some twist I'll try to place some bet for an handicap maybe raptors or pacers can snatch their games against the super team that they met sometimes its really cool to play against the odd and win some sweet gains but again its just for some fun and I will try for only the minimum. |

That is why that there must be no people to trust or invest in any kind of newly created coin because of Bitcoin's fork as it is only a copy cat of the original one and will serve no purpose at all but to only steal the fame of what Bitcoin already set to the whole world. If this statement of yours is really true then I am sure that this newly forked coin will be more worse than Bitcoin Cash.
i dont know what would be the support that this coin will received after the split, for miners they will be able to mine btc gold using gpu and what more? after they mined they will sell it again to btc there's no real purpose same thing with bitcoin cash. |

Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.
I am investing the money at the next dip.

Investing in cryptocurrency is good however why dont you consider diversifying your investment, what if it didnt turn out the way you expected it then nothing will left for you. Dont invest all your savings, we know that investing in cryptocurrencies might be profitable but still there is no assurance about that and its not wise to put all your money. well i read some thread here inside the forum that someone invest everything including of selling all his properties, maybe he's already a rich guy now, after a year of doing that so its the risk taker that will take a big bunch of earnings out from this investment, and before deciding better to know the corresponding possibilities. |

The price is going to the correct range, IMO stratis is worth more than 0.005 btc.  I am expecting more price from the Stratis because today are going to releasing lot of their updates so there is chance of price increase. Most important things Korean exchange is listing Stratis coin in their exchange. and that's the reason why the value is now rising so aside from btc's downfall updates are coming up and another platform is adding this coin, maybe it can go up and reach .01btc i still got some stratis though i did sell more of it when btc rise up so high, time to buy more again. |

Yes, of course. Small investment alone, the most important is to get profit. Rather than big investment but get a lot of losses? do you want that? It would be better if you collect the profit from a little, later will also multiply.
logically right if you can manage to grow your money but chances is much little compared to a big investment, you can play much longer with your knowledge of money management, with little capital your time and chance would be depend with your luck. that's just my presumption though. |

If I win a little, I really don't feel any excitement and continue playing. If I win a lot, I usually take the money and run If i were you i will also run after winning a big sum of money. I don't want to risk it by playing even more. Sometimes people need to practice self control and satisfaction because if you are a compulsive gambler it will get you in trouble I swear. For me if i win a lot I want to treat myself of the money I won because I think I deserve it. most of the time i have same thinking with my gambling activity but there's still time that greediness eat me up and instead of quitting i do continue and loses everything that i already have, its feels good when you are in the side of winning thinking that you wont lose anymore and luck is just beside you. |

I gamble to have fun and add a little flavour to my friday night games and to get more excited watching them . So no i wouldn't stop gambling because my main interest isn't money .
which probably isn't the same case from other gamblers as winnings is another spice of having much exciting play, so if money is no longer a basis of excitement i guess it wont be the same anymore the fun and enjoyment would be like just playing in a practice game which we don't really enjoy much. |

Ok so Dwyane Wade asks Cleveland Cavaliers to bench him for JR Smith which I think a good move and just showing how humble is. We can see Wade performance lately as not dominant anymore especially when he first left the Miami Heat. Also it was a respect for J.R Smith as one of the long time player and part of championship lineup for the Cavaliers. In their 2003 rookie list, I see it's only Lebron James who's still consistent nowadays despite of the status that he's mid 30's now. So I think matching him up with young ones is not a big deal as we know how deadly Lebron when he's on peak. It's his attitude that he don't want those teammates that are in that team for a long time and he considers himself as no superstar. Respecting other teammates will gain him respect too so this is a very good attitude for Dwayne Wade and this can give them a good tandem for all of them because they are comfortably playing with each other without any grieves to his other lads for the entire team. I salute him for that, he cannot played longer minutes anymore due to previous injuries that still might affect him now, but during crunch time Lebron needs him because he can deliver the play anytime and you can trust this guy, he is one of the clutch player in the league so it's good to preserve him for important plays. even in his rookie year he is so humble, remember him as a heart of the team so i think what he did is a respect to his team mate, jr smith is a big part of the cavs and being new to the team will need some adjustment, i think lebron and the coaches will find a best way to rotate their team and become more aggressive to win the season's title. |

I believe we need more big player in the space to see the price hit that figure, some people still feel that the Bitcoin etf will be approved then I can see the smart money flow in and drive the price up significantly
If Microsoft continue to offer btc as mode of payments then we will really see more business to follow and from that 10k$ value would be more possible but with current movements I guess we will still see more swing from its current status. |

Looking for some help on this. I have an older version of Electrum (2.8.3). Will updated to the newer version version cause me to risk losing my keys in any way? If not, I should be able to update Electrum and then follow the guide posted above, correct?
Well I think as long as you backed up your key you are safe to update your wallet since it will only be asked in order for you to use the newer version just be sure that you backed it up correctly and always save it two or more times to be more secure and safe. |

Try to win back only going to burden you, and at that point you wont be thinking clearly and usually you will lost more money, you got no luck anymore to continue the game, and it is very dangerous to have mindset to gained back lost money, you can become bankrupt or addicted
Return is okay, but to take back the loss is not okay. If you want to re-gamble again then just do as you please but no need to think to take back your losing because it's not okay. If you're lucky you can get it back without expecting it. I'm sure we do have same stories about aggressively tried to chase back our loses and results to lose much bigger money as its really harder to think wiser when you are thinking about your loses better to stay focus and enjoy your game if ever you really can't quit your habits. |

2 guys walk into a casino, each one has 50$.
One is gambling for money and the other one is playing for fun using money, and after some time they both lost 50$.
Next day they both decide to go to casino(again), one is again gambling with 50$ and for money, and the other one is playing for fun but with money because it is his hobby(hobby - something you like to do when you have some free time) and again they both lose 50$.
After a month of gambling(person X) and playing for fun(person Y) they've both lost 1500$.
Explain me how person X is gambling for money and person Y is playing for fun?
Both players are playing for profit. When someone spend his money and time daily in gambling, we can't say that he's playing for fun! We do our hobby for fun but not in daily basis. I agree that when a person playing regularly and in a daily basis - it is already like a habit formed that may lead to addiction at some point but most likely that gambler is already playing for profit and not just for fun. Considering also those we called pro gambler they are those lucky people who finds better knowledge with what they are doing allowing their habits being profitable for them, its not usual but it isn't impossible as well that theres gamblers out there who played smartly and able to earn. |

Gambling is not good when your in addiction but if you have limitations in yourself I could say its for fun and relieving in yourself in playing.It can be profitable when you wins but if you loose it can make all your money out.As long you can overcome your addiction in playing gambling is not wrong for us. Gambling is not only good for those typical addicted gamblers. Otherwise it is same like here just we manage our routine expenses then we could mange our gambling expenses then we must control our greedy then gambling don't give us big lose. Usually all gamblers have same stories but only addicted gamblers have sad stories. It is on our hand, if we want sad and happy story from gambling. But i am satisfied with gambling. Certainly happy when won. However, winning could not cover losses i experienced in gambling. And true, hoping to minimize losing is very difficult.
The only way to minimize losses is to set the limits of our capital money to gamble, by arranging the smallest possible capital. Provided that we are disciplined and not exceeding limits, it is the only way to minimize losses. Because if minimizing losses by increasing profits is very difficult. Well for those who already learned from their previous mistake I guess they now knew how to enjoy what can be their possible earnings as they can set limits and know when to move forward or quit if things is not favoring them all in all winning little is much better than losing everything its still enjoyable having little gains than nothing. |

My worst mistakes were chasing my losses everytime I lost  It never ended up well. I have been here too once and it is just what most gamblers have experienced in the start of their career as a gambler before learning that once you lose, forget it and just move on. It can never end up well. The cruel part is when you bet that big amount, you will want to try a bigger thinking after all, you have taken the bold step already, until you see a zero account with your eyes wide opened. Worst mistake on gambling is too keep on chasing to earn more profit and end up loosing big money, well this happened to me one time and that time i am really broke because i already earn big money but i did not stop that time and ended up loosing money. Stop chasing for your loss and know when to stop gambling specially when you are winning, it's really hard if you are in that situation but you have to control yourself. Well it's a terrible mistake we've all made when we were amateurs in gambling but have now adequate experience capable of controlling myself and the rate at which I play without being overconfident or over enthusiastic about my bets. sad to call ourselves as an amateur but yes most of us made this mistakes we tend to keep playing while we see some greens and when the red results start showing instead of stop and quit we aggressively bet much higher bet thinking that luck will followed resulting to a inconvenient loses. |

Me as a working mother and have a children I need to set up my limits to control my over spending in playing gambling.I need to save half of my money for the future purposes of my children and I dont need to spend it all just making myself fun and want to relive my stress.Controlling myself is my best way to avoid addiction in gambling. its much better to quit mate you have a lots of reason instead of setting limits much better to stop it and focus with your future plans and use your spare time to play with your kids instead of releasing stress with gambling, bonding with kids will allow you to stay away from gambling and let you think wiser for your future. |

Either in gambling or in trading its always good to start with a small capital that you can afford to loose as you don't know what will be the final outcome as in trading its always recommended to gamble with small amount and if you have good knowledge of trading then you can afford to take risk of going with higher capital.
Exactly, if investments are started with a huge capital then there's a limited or no room for growth and so it's best to start on the smaller note and then grow that investment over time with your skill and investment. what do you mean limited or no room, its better to have big initial bankroll if you are going to attached yourself as you have a lots of chances to bounce back when you are in a losing side but with small investment chances also will be much smaller, big capital can result to big gains if you have proper money management, with small capital you can only earned if you have a big luck. |

A gambler can't quit gambling to start trading without knowing what he is doing. Gambling is a game that you just need to set some configurations and start playing, just clicking one button "Roll" several times or by setting a bot to do the job. Trading is much different, and if you aren't expert you will have a result worse than gambling, you will continue losing money until the last satoshi. Sometimes it's better to just quit gambling, but not quit gambling to start trading... And if you want to do this, practice first with small amounts of money until you are really confident to trade high.
maybe diversion is the best way to quit gambling but you are right without knowing the proper way you are just risking your money again and worse than gambling which you already have some knowledge and some chances to win, that's why its really in need that you do some study and research in order for you to learn this activity. |
