Maybe we can people on this forum to agree that it's worth 22, 23 cents a coin.

Then you will just give a big chance to earn good money (hype, pump and dump) to those peoples who have already mined thousand of coins.
3362  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-05-07; Police arrest 30 in raid on online drug network on: May 08, 2013, 01:36:53 AM

Sounds similar to the Silk Road.

SR,BMR or probably Atlantis.
3363  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk needs to evolve on: May 08, 2013, 01:34:49 AM

I believe so. Based on Theymos' most recent (I think) comment on the issue, I think he's just trying to work out some details in the new requirements or something.

Alright thanks, I'll contact him in evening Smiley
3364  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to create/modify software for this forum [5500+ BTC] on: May 08, 2013, 01:16:50 AM
5500+ BTC

I think theymos is trolling us.  Cheesy

Nope. You can verify the forum's balance:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=155000.0

All of it is available for this project. However, I now want to be more closely involved in the software creation process than I did when I started this topic. I'm probably not going to pay people large amounts in advance (and certainly nowhere near 5500 BTC).

If it's available i am going to work on mybb and will get all the functions you have posted in this thread.
Most of them are inbuilt in mybb and rest can be added via some plugins which i'll make.

Looking for someone to create/modify software for this forum [5500+ BTC]

The forum has a shit-ton of money in donations, and has been meaning to get new software for a while. But it's not happening for whatever reason.

Do they still need it done?

I can do that, I mean that's my fucking job (Making and securing forums).
3366  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk needs to evolve on: May 08, 2013, 01:02:34 AM
I think it won't be news for anyone if I say this forum has gotten ridiculously large; so much so that it's actually getting hard to digest everything that's going on in here if you don't spend your time 24/7 on the forum. I think the software that empowers this forum, SMF, as it stands now, it's a bit lacking for Bitcointalk. I am the only the one thinking this?

One way that this forum could benefit tremedously for instance is if it had a voting system. I'm not talking about turning Bitcointalk into reddit, but damn, how much I wish sometimes that I could sort the posts in a thread by quality, so I could find the good, relevant posts quickly given the good will of the community to upvote the good stuff instead of skimming through dozens of pages of "lolz me too". Something like this would require modding SMF, but from a technical standpoint it's probably doable. What do you think?

Folks, let's discuss this and other ways to evolve Bitcointalk. I haven't been member for long, but it didn't take me long either to realize the forum is exploding at a faster pace than admins and mods are able to handle, and this sure is a problem if Bitcointalk is to stay for a while longer.

Agree with you.

I can't see my own threads  I had to go thru my each post to check my own threads and there is no Reputation/Feedback system, it annoys me.

Mybb is better alternative and xenforo too (PAID)
3367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bloocoin on: May 08, 2013, 12:54:38 AM
I did not say it was going to have value. I did not say that there are threads of people accepting it. I said that there are people on the thread agreeing on 20 cents a coin.

As of 5/6/13, the price of a coin is 20 cents. (The price came from sales and buys already for this coin on the forum)

Botnet .. of fuck , those thing  are  killing the  litecoin mining. some of these  botnets  are targeting  high end  computers  with gpu,  mines using the  gpu when the user is  using the computer ,  and  when on idel mode  uses both the gpu and the cpu.
killed off my  mining  rig .

Legal  botnets  will not be allowed.  to much legal  mumbojumbo  regarding  privacy  laws.

Well there are many legal botnets are running and they didn't got any problem

3369  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Visit To Butterfly Labs Today! on: May 08, 2013, 12:36:41 AM

I'm pretty sure these guys are legit. They are more or less a start-up (where ASIC are concerned) so, ofc, there are snags and unforeseen delays. That's how start-ups work. Dude has many many real problems to deal with and thousands of units to get out, as well as being grossly behind schedule, so I can't see any of the BFL team being too interested in wasting much effort on the "customer service" that you and your measly 1/3 of a jalapeno order demand.

They might be legit but they are not professional at all, I bet they didn't even had money for raw material, they have gotten some samples made by some other company, taken screenshots etc and started their website to get money from peoples and I also think they didn't even tested chips completely (Environmental stress testing ) that's why they are getting huge delays.

BFL says; "If you don't believe we are working as hard as we can to get you your order as fast as we can and within a reasonable estimation of our performance targets, then we dont need your money".

They are actually saying "You are a fool and you need to wait for several months while we are using your money and we will return it when we will get new fools"

3370  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Visit To Butterfly Labs Today! on: May 08, 2013, 12:14:29 AM
Even if paid through Paypal via a credit card the CC could be used for a chargeback

Yeah but people should ask for refund first, if they don't give you can either call your cc company (if you paid via Creditcard which was processed by paypal) or just a simple chargeback if you paid via your paypal balance.

You can do chargeback even after 3 months, just write that you didn't received product yet, paypal ask them to provide shipping info and obviously they will fail to provide that, at end paypal will give you money back
3371  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Visit To Butterfly Labs Today! on: May 07, 2013, 11:51:42 PM

Could be!

LOL!

Haha, Well they are just making themselves look like a big scam.

They didn't have done any shipping yet, but they are still accepting new preorders. Great

They knew they won't be able to ship products on time that's why they are accepting payments by Bitcoins
and paypal (You can chargeback guys) instead of creditcard. (It is against VISA and MasterCard's regulations for a merchant to bill their cards prior to shipping. *The Fair Credit Billing Act* )

You guys should ask for refund.
3372  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Visit To Butterfly Labs Today! on: May 07, 2013, 11:09:19 PM

I told her that I did not but was probably expected.  She asked me my name and I replied "MY BFL FORUM NAME".  I was immediately ushered inside the fortress that is BFL and asked to wait in the lobby, which is really only a couple of chairs at the end of the hallway leading to the "back room" itself.

She probably thought you said "Lord Dutchmen"  Grin

3377  Economy / Lending / Re: 8 BTC Loan/Investment for automatic escrow website on: May 07, 2013, 08:23:30 PM

So what makes you think you will have money in a month?  If you don't have any spare cash right now, where are you going to get ~$800 from within 30 days?

I earn money by doing currency exchanges, trading, by selling digital goods/domains on many forums and by providing some services, hosting etc and script coding will not take 30 days, as soon as it will go online i'll get extra money.

3378  Economy / Lending / Re: 8 BTC Loan/Investment for automatic escrow website on: May 07, 2013, 08:13:36 PM
On a side note, I am not going to die without loan nor i need it desperately and nor i am forcing anyone to loan or invest in it. If no one is interested,I will get script coded when i will be able to invest.

If you don't feel good, just ignore this thread.

I respect you guys and i also want respect in return. I am not a begger nor a scammer. I just need money (Loan or investment whatever you call it) for this project. That's it.

Thank you.

Sob story (bank account robbed).  Check!

By my Girlfriend, If you think it as a Sob story you are either stupid or you too much young to understand it.

Do.  Not.  Loan.

Even if you *do* get paid back, 50% for life is very likely to be 0. You might as well invest in a Prosper.com loan and get 9% APR return (for grade A loan).

Dear sir,Kindly fuc* yourself with your advertising, Also bitcoins are not going to me, it will go to coder and investor is getting script + his bitcoins + 50% money back because i am not some money hungry guy or some kind of asshole scammer. If you got it now, kindly do not post as i hate peoples like you who make good/bad assumptions about someone too fast.

Ps: Your name Daniel reminds me of a known online scammer from pakistaan. I am going to put you on my ignore list.
