Not all the time cryptocurrency goes up and makes a profit to their investors there's a time it might crash because of different factors again if you think that bitcoin always gives you a profit by just investing with the low price and sell it at a high price it's better to change this mindset and try to understand the use of technical analysis and charts this might help you to prevent losing your money. The term hodl is just for the people who have a strong hand. Some of the hodler bought at the lowest price so if you think the market is bearish and not taking back still you are thinking of hodl i think no.
And we also have to understand that manipulation may arises which we cannot hold on. So no matter we think that Bitcoin is profitable, reliable coin but we can't assure that as an investors will make a profit in every investment they have especially when we are impatient person. If we never know how to hold, it is totally embarrassing in our side.
It is absolutely right to say that Bitcoin will never crash (down to zero) but can't deny also that there were times that the market price is down. |

i have tried trading and discovered that i loose my self whenever the market make huge moves . i sold quite early at any bull market and dump at any instant of the bear market. i find it difficult to control my emotions. since this year, i choose to move into farming, pools and it has been wonderful.
if you are new to trading, it was normal since you are not familiar with the market but if you doing this for quite long and the results still the same, there might a big problem with you. i choose lending and borrowing as my strategy.

To be honest, these strategies make you more compromise and gives you a big problem sooner. Because instead of focusing on how to improve your trading skills, you are also bothered on how to pay your debts that make you out in focus. You will lose all your money if you sell it now, try to hold and wait for the market to recover because that is the only way could help. You have said this year, maybe YES or maybe NOT, why not try if you still have the courage to do that. Since you are investing in different coins, in fact, you have ETH. This is true, When I was starting in this trading, my friend who was started making fortunes will sometimes offer foods and drinks but will never lend. And when I talk to him about it, he shares the ideals and it really strikes me as it really makes sense. The one you said ^^^ is almost the same to what he advised.
And you can't force them to lend you. They don't not only because their money is still on trades but they usually think that they can't make money from you unless it has some interest. Because if they use this in trading there is a chance to multiply it. So many reasons so hated that even your friends don't that but that is how people becoming too exhausted in making money and they become more greedy. Anyways, that is their money, we have no right to complain but instead, we have to work our own without relying on others help. |

yes, we also have to be able to see our financial condition first. I still prefer to hold most especially at this moment when we saw that the market has a correction, it may from time to time it will back from the previous ATH, or much better it will create another ATH. There is an easy decision to be made when you know enough about the project. But I think holding is just only for reliable coins like BTC and ETH, not for new projects. Even you hold Bitcoin for how many years, you feel nothing to worry about as the price is increasing.

I sincerely envy those people who kept their coins for 5 years, now they can not worry about their income and feel as free as possible.
I am sure there are holders who have been holding coins for more than 5 years and every time they are convinced of the correctness of their choice.
It could be possible, rich people can do that but I don't know if that is a good decision knowing how volatile we are and we neither sure that in the next 5 years the market is in bullish. I could make a hold for many years but such a time frame given is too long enough. For me, I ain't do that, if the bullish will had come earlier to that I have to sell my cryptos right away. |

We already know that the market will keep changing. Holding is only an option, not all are doing this...Sometimes it works but sometimes also it won't, I do holding depending on the situation but as the market will dump, I definitely sell my Bitcoin even though people will think that I'm weak. I really don't think that matters for me, I'd come for a profit, not to hold forever.

Since Dogecoin is in the crypto space I have never thought of it as a dirt coin even though at that time the price was very super cheap, because Dogecoin is a clear token and always has a value even though it is small, in contrast to a dung coin which one day may die and will have no value again. Yes Dogecoin is a clear pump and dump coins. Let's just wait how many latecomers will be burn when the addresses that hold the majority of the coins decided to cash out. Doge price is really insane, I don't hate Doge but aside from the hype of Elon Musk, I don't see any reason for the price to surge like this one. I think buying at $40k is still a good price to catch before we get back to the bullish season. My oh my! Since a few days back my blood pressure has being spiking higher and higher, seeing the price of Bitcoin doing a freefall. I know its prudent for an investor not to panic when the market falling, but I can't help myself starting to panic. I believe that it'd be sensible for me to sell all of my Bitcoins and wait for a suitable time to reinvest.
We are now at below $40k but the market movement still unstable, we drop at $32k but for now, we even get close to $40k. I think that many investors still calm and they are not selling yet their Bitcoin, they are still holding it hoping for another ATH if the market will surge back high again. I was saying that these new sets of investors fully understand the looks and volatility of the market. And they might realize that the moment they participate in the selling, the more it fuels the downtrend. |
