1  Economy / Economics / Re: Surviving in this economy needs a new minds set on: Today at 02:27:00 PM

This makes me to think and have come to the realization and conclusion that surviving in this present economic situation needs a total different mind set such that will make you to think out side of the box
Investing in crypto currencies like Bitcoin is not a bad idea at all
We need to be more practical, unlike the usual thing we do. As inflation keeps on rising, the more we have to be aggressive in taking opportunities and adding sources of income. The government can't help us anymore which is why we should have to work on our own in order to survive.
Bitcoin investment is one of the best options this time. We aren't making money quickly but for sure that this could help us in the future. If we can spend $100 a day on nonsense stuff, it is not difficult for us to spend it on buying Bitcoin.
 - change our lifestyle and gain interest in multiplying our money
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cash out or let it ride? on: Today at 01:54:36 PM
If I am in that situation, cash out is the best option. Why? I can still remember and it always appears in my mind when gambling, don't be greedy and never aim huge, don't forget your past. That actually helps me a lot and I will tell you OP, you can be lucky today (or at this time) but not sure after a few minutes. Just think that we have been given the chance already, so why not take it and pause for a while?

Therefore, that's up to you OP...you are a gambler and probably you know what is the best thing to do.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest in Bitcoin because others are investing in Bitcoin on: May 01, 2024, 11:48:54 AM
I invest in Bitcoin because I see many people are into it. I see no wrong about it because it doesn't mean I don't do any research before deciding to take risks. It is just wrong if you invest blindly because someone told you, not because you already have an idea of what is all about.
Never be doing this if we are;
 - lack of knowledge
 - uncertain
 - can't afford to take risk
 - impatient

We don't get jealous if somen becomes rich and successful from investing in Bitcoin instead, know what they are doing and do the same.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest To Learning First on: May 01, 2024, 10:47:49 AM
Reality is, there are more fake ones compared to those who are really knowledgeable and well-experienced about cryptocurrency or any other potential assets. This is why we need to be more cautious on trusting some consultants and don’t jump on believing everything they say. It’s still a lot better and wiser to gain your own research and studies so that you will be highly responsible on your own investment. They say your money, your rules, and your responsibility as well to provide a positive outcome of your own investment.
Well, the best thing to do is not to use their services. In fact, there are a lot of online tutorials and videos to watch, I believe this could be enough for us to learn. Besides, learning can be found more when doing actual trade which is why I could say that learning is quite expensive and sometimes we need to spend money for that sake. But not by spending it on signal groups and useless things.
Indeed, learning is our responsibility and the most important thing that we need to acquire first before making another move.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Your Country Who Gamble More? Young Ones or Elderly Ones on: April 30, 2024, 01:47:38 PM
Based on my observation in my local

 - more of the elderly gamble offline. They are not just gambling but some sort of socialization with their old friends.
 - more on the young and young adults gambling online. This is because they are exposed to new technologies and the internet making them prefer to gamble using their mobile phone, computers, etc.

The question who gambles more? Those who gamble online.

9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple practices to improve trading (2). on: April 29, 2024, 08:50:45 AM
A trader never stops learning and even if they have already reached the top, they still doing this in order to improve more and also because of the changing situation of the market. A lot of things that need to know when you are doing this much more if you are just a newbie and you will have to use all means in order to acquire more knowledge.
 - demo accounts have been a good start for newcomers. Most trading platforms offer this one just to help learners. Exposing ourselves to real trade gives us more learning but using a demo account is a way to familiarize how trading works and a sort of preparation for a bigger responsibility when you are now using real money in a real trading scenario.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED on: April 29, 2024, 08:22:11 AM
Anything you do in exchange for money is a job. Trading is considered to be but can't just rely on this to become a good source of income unless you are really good at this.

Trading is profitable but has quite high risks which is why this is not just a simple job but a difficult one. Indeed, traders are traders, they are working hard to make their trades ever profitable. Many people earn more from trading which gives interest to others but do not know that the majority are losing than those who earn satisfying amounts. It is your call if you consider this but for me, trading couldn't be our main source of income due to its nature.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lies told to cover up gambling habit on: April 28, 2024, 01:20:29 PM
Another big fucking lie is that it's a hobby or I'm doing it for fun, your doing it for fun and it's costing you a fortune then you must be a fucking out of your mind, I've heard some person saying that they take gambling as a hobby and that is the biggest fraud lie anyone told himself, do you feel bad when you lose? Yes, then how is that fun, fun is supposed to be entertaining not to make you sad about lose.
You will always gamblers tell that they are there to gamble for fun but when they win, it is giving more fun. Ans when they are on a losing streak, it is no longer fun.

It is entertaining and fun to gamble but it is certainly a lie that gamblers who tell that, are only actual for fun.
The majority are gambling for money, that is the reality. It is possible any of you guys is one of those gamblers who can't afford to lose and blame other people for your losses. I was skeptical of those who were saying just for fun as this is not the main reason, I might consider it if they are rich but if these words are coming from poor and average people, that is impossible.

As a gambler, we know what is in our mind when gambling - that is to win. It means that we are in the chase of money, not for fun or entertainment.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please, I urge you to buy bitcoin! on: April 27, 2024, 01:51:03 PM
People are buying Bitcoin with their will and interest, not because someone urges them to do that. The price is quite high, not a good time for accumulation. Some people say missing the chance to buy Bitcoin could no longer be back. Well, they are right but I cannot sacrifice myself to take risks at the current price, I can wait until the bull season is over, that is a perfect time for accumulation.

Even if I can't buy it this year, there is still a lot of Bitcoin available in the market. I wait for people to sell their Bitcoin and then catch them. I believe this is not a competition and there is a perfect time to buy, ain't this time IMO.

14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: April 23, 2024, 01:55:36 PM

If you can make gambling a hobby, then whatever the results are, it will only be for fun, not for chasing victory. If you lose, keep chasing until you forget everything.
For me, it's like that in understanding that gambling is a hobby.

Gambling is an expensive hobby. Though it only means that it's just for leisure during free time, but being into it regularly is very prone to addiction. Losing ain't no fun, so chasing for win is inevitable as well as chasing losses. A lot of us knew about the danger of chasing for losses, but there always times that you are out of control and unfortunate things happens as an outcome for being too careless with your betting expenses. Therefore, those people who treat gambling as their hobby are very susceptible to the things that I have mentioned.

Perhaps it was expensive but still, a lot of people do it. No, they are doing this more than a hobby anymore, some people consider this as another source of income dreaming of becoming rich instantly.

If we are just certain in considering this as "entertainment", nobody will able to spend a lot of money. But some gamblers do because they are chasing something unreal. Nobody will spend $1,000 if we are not aftering for something and I can really attest to that because I was in that situation many years ago before I realized that it was wrong.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: What scares me from investing in gold. on: April 23, 2024, 07:56:55 AM
Gold is worth investing in the long term and it was profitable but a little bit far from the profit we possibly get from Bitcoin even just in a short period.
Gold is not just an investment, some people have used this to show their wealth and richness.

If we talk about risk, gold assures us 100% profit and I don't usually hear people get scammed from this. When it comes to legality, Gold is already had and many establishments/pawnshops accept this. Scams just happen when dealing with strangers but if we are dealing with the right person and at the right place, we're totally safe and secure.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where would you prefer to watch your favorite team? on: April 22, 2024, 09:23:32 AM
~
Let us keep this discussion going, where would you prefer to watch your favorite team?
I watch them and put my bet on the team I prefer.
The point of doing this is we are confident that they will the games despite no assurance because it is also considered as support to them. Honestly, you can feel the excitement and the rhythm of the game when you see them playing compared to watching other teams. It was a different betting session when compared to betting not our favorite team.

Perhaps, this is normal and even having a busy day, we spend time watching them. It was not just having fun but it is a pleasure as we love to see our teams on the court whether they win or lose.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will Happen to crypto market after Bitcoin halving?? on: April 22, 2024, 06:37:36 AM
We feel bad and disappointed with the outcomes of halving because we already assume that it will skyrocket.
But should we consider this as a factor that there is no more ATH in the coming days? Because I was certain that it was not the end of the world and we know that so many times the market is in dip correction, turn to bearish for 3 years but we are still able to see the price of Bitcoin reach $79k.

If we see the price is in correction, better think that there is recovery and that likely be more surprising than what we thought.
So better keep hold and remain optimistic, new ATH is just around the corner.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Impact of Social Media in Gambling. on: April 21, 2024, 02:04:54 PM
I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their blogs or videos?
This is common in my country. They do not care than the money the gambling site they are advertising for will pay them.

YouTube is not better but there are local channels in my country that you will see gambling site advertising which is worse.

Recently I was passing through the bank road in my town, I saw a sign board of 1xbet. Did you know how many under age that would have seen it. The problem goes to government negligence.
The sad thing is that even the government knows that many scams in gambling, they simply just ignore and let their (scam) business continue.
Promoting gambling is not wrong but should be carefully put into a platform that is intended for gamblers and of legal age audiences but since it was a signboard, I think government intervention is necessary. It creates curiosity in the kids and we don't want it to happen.

I think that the degree to which influencers are “saleful” will depend only on their personal internal morality. Do you want to persuade them not to advertise (lose income) gambling and casinos? I will be happy to see how you do it (manage to influence). Smiley
Of course, I can't but I think they should be sensible enough of their doing knowing that not only legal age are watching them, but some of them are kids also. I understand their position, it is a money opportunity for them but I believe they should be responsible also. In fact, we are gamblers but we don't want our kids to see us gambling.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Understanding the Impact of Social Media in Gambling. on: April 21, 2024, 06:13:39 AM
A lot of social media influencers especially vloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their vlogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already. In fact, we've been seeing a massive increase in gamblers and online gambling sites. But how this could affect the mindset of the kids when they are also seeing these ads/promotions from the social media influencers they followed? I could be wrong but this has a mental effect on them and at a very young age, they are exposed to gambling already which is supposedly not the right time.

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their vlogs or videos?
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you depend on game predictions by supercomputers? on: April 21, 2024, 05:53:18 AM
Supercomputers are definitely good at predicting but this won't say that they are perfectly right. Perhaps, they have been built by humans and the data filled to them is from other sources. I'm sure, there is no data that has already been made ahead of time so this technology already knows the results. Therefore, even though we can say that supercomputers are reliable but when it comes to gambling predictions they can possibly be wrong because it was unpredictable. Because if we can imagine that this technology is accurate, I think there is a gambling site that will survive when all the players have won.
That is why I'd rather depend on myself over others and I can make decisions without depending on technology.
