Biden had a Blue tie on so thats a winner!
It feels like whenever I log-in there is another free bet waiting for me.  Grin
Win one get one, I can get used to this Steve  Grin

What was the odds for this one? He commonly wears blue I guess:)

Not having a very good time so far with Spurs, but I guess a lot of other teams are letting their fans down,,, unless you support either blue or red half of Manchester then you must be feeling happy every game now.

Anyone else liking the new Multi Magic?Smiley
3362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: January 22, 2021, 12:09:33 PM
Two years since op posted this quoted message, Eth has already hit it's new ath. I am very much optimistic that two years down the lane, eth will again set new ath and will not go below it's atl level ever.
Lucky are those who bought at that price.

That teaches people a lot about crypto,,, to sit through one ATH and wait for the next one. I envy those who were in the ATH periods for Bitcoin before 2017, they definitely would have known even better this current one was coming. It is all a patient progressive development, with crashes littering the charts;)
3363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: January 22, 2021, 10:14:11 AM
I missed last round but good I guess,,, even I knew I would have picked wrong ones. I am going for many draws this time as I think a lot of teams will be playing safe more and more in mid season.

For my sidebet pick, let us go for 45. Thanks turquinito:)

3364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy all Lotto Combinations - Win Big on: January 22, 2021, 08:54:34 AM
Yes,,, the favorite story repeated many times to us gamblers and an example where one guy learnt how to beat the house:) Probably a lot of other untold stories too (since when you tell them then people know how to fix the flaw).

These days almost impossible to do this type of thing I guess without a big capital.
3365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Kraken Delists XRP on: January 22, 2021, 08:10:47 AM
If I'll be investing on it, I'll wait until they are done with everything. The risk of volatility and then the risk of being delisted is everywhere is not a good combination of risk that you might take. I'll take a look into another coin that's better than this coin. And it's expected that most of the exchanges would avoid this with the fresh lawsuit that it just had. It's either they delist it only for their US residents and keeps on being traded for their other offshore traders or completely delist it to avoid any relevance to the issue.

It will never be done with everything though,,, XRP is just going to be an endless problem from the beginning already you could see trouble was spelled all over the place. Lawsuits are more common for Ripple than good news, this is not going to be the last one unfortunately. Hold what you have, I do the same. But would not get in more.
3366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 22, 2021, 06:24:19 AM
I think this is not a matter of Klopp who underestimated Burnley by not playing some core players, but more of a strategy because they have a match against another stronger team, remember Burnley's goal in the 83rd minute through penalty a very unexpected for Liverpool players. The results were very disappointing from Liverpool's in last 5 matches.
After Man United and Man City who have improved their appearance now Liverpool must fight again to find their best appearance.

I actually believe that it would not have been much better because if you saw the time from when they made the substitutions,,, there was still a problem from Firmino and Salah to score, although you could see that there were more chances.

This would have been a draw even if not for Burnley's penalty,,, so I think there is no silver lining for this game.
3367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 21, 2021, 02:42:47 PM
Transfer rumours:

Real Madrid's Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard, has asked to leave the club. What happens to this young player who was supposed to be a future star at Real?
Liverpool and Barcelona have not given up hope of signing Bayern Munich and Austria defender David Alaba, despite Real Madrid being close to a deal.

If Alaba wants a challenge, he will go to Barcelona. To be part of their new future. Or Liverpool to help them go for a historic treble which they never achieved yet. Real has done it, and City also, so he wants to taste new success like any young player who wants to make records. These days,,, money is not enough for most people.
3368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Listing on Uniswap on: January 21, 2021, 02:11:37 PM
Well,,, I would say if you want to list 10,000 tokens, you ought to be able to deposit the same amount. Otherwise anyone could make up tokens and randomly list them and Uniswap would just be overburdened with worthless coins.

All the bad moves by teams? Expect it,,, human nature;)
3369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 21, 2021, 11:59:07 AM
I used to play the same sets of numbers at my local betting shop (you pick 3, 4 or up to 6 numbers depending on the type of ticket) but overall I lose money. Same like dice, I do bet on the same numbers, but it is all psychological, the randomness and probability are all the same.

I feel such envy every time I read stories like this:)
3370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Lending Thoughts? on: January 21, 2021, 11:28:31 AM
There are a bunch of options for high interest from crypto lending. But there are 2 big risks:

1. Since you have to give possession of the coins to the lending company, they can be hacked and you can lose everything (I understand Celsius has insurance, what does it cover?)
2. The borrower collateral will be worth nothing after a crash and you will not get the interest you are promised.

So are they all too much of a risk? What happens after a crypto crash? Or are any of them safe because they collect a lot more collateral from borrowers than is needed?

That first risk is the biggest, and insurance at Celcius and others are very small (compared to the total funds they have management over),,, so even if a hack happens, I doubt every user would get compensation, or a small percentage of the sum.

Not sure about the second risk but I agree, it does not sounds worth it. Most say over collaterized like 50% but we all know crashes can happen to 90%.
3371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 21, 2021, 08:43:51 AM
A deserved win for City despite the duty to respect Villa's bravery surely Villa have been phenomenal this season having very good defensive stats and having Grealish Watkins and ElGhazi upfront is really helping .
Especially when you see Grealish  he is a real value i was surprised that no one picked him in summer but surely after this season he will be going places he is really something to add for attack and look at this chart.

Manchester United were I believe the frontrunners looking for Grealish's signature last summer but he instead chose to stay at Villa, and the club signed 2 or 3 good players to back him up, so he does not have to do the work all by himself. Plus they do have a good manager and I think some players prefer to play where they are loved;)
3372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ALTSEASON 2021 on: January 21, 2021, 08:05:56 AM
Eth is still bullish since last year it is performing well. While litecoin has rallied and other altcoins showed some good turn, altcoin season has been started already. But more of them still in a verge of struggling to recover like xrp.

Bitcoin price is hiking fast and some altcoins are still following it's steps because of the high scalability that makes it in demand causing altcoins to be bullish too.

There were definitely some moments when I felt it would just never get over the $400 bump, but what surprised me is how it did NOT face much problems at the $1k resistance, choosing right away to go break ATH. Still expecting a strict pullback,,, but performance has probably exceeded most expectations so far.
3373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election | Biden+Harris Vs ?? ?? on: January 21, 2021, 06:56:16 AM
Provided that he will still be alive to partake in the next election, he will be a strong contender yet again. Honestly I don't have a good idea of who he possibly would be up against because Sanders wouldn't be so tough a candidate anymore provided that the past two elections he partook in didn't gain him considerable votes, plus he's also getting old.

You never know. I do not know the full spectrum of US politics but there are a LOT of old players ready to take up the challenge, and hundreds of new ones we probably never even heard of. Until this election for example,,, I had never heard once of Kamala Harris and I am sure there are a lot more popular ones.
3374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: These projects will go big , I assume. on: January 21, 2021, 06:22:18 AM
Look at the website of Banano and the yellow paper and tell me you dont like it Smiley Its like Nano but yummy.

KoinOS has a good chance to be a serious ETH competitor. Unlike most other projects there isnt venture capital funds in it which artificially push market cap to 30, 50 or even 200 million. Here YOU can still own a huge part of the tokens as its just at $2m market cap. So if it goes to $200m thats alot of gains and even that is still small for an eth competitor. I suggest like with all projects to do your own research. Read their whitepaper and the website and watch their videos. Trust me, its worth it. You will likely sell all other coins you own for this project.

Oh Banano,,, such a name I have not heard in a long time, do they even still do all those discord games giving away banano? I mean, I loved Nano when it initially came out too, but I thought the problem was too many people doing it for free and hodling then dumping and the old problem of utility never became solved:)
3375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 20, 2021, 03:57:02 PM
0 points for me from last night's games. I predicted a draw for Leicester Chelsea,,, thinking at least the Blues must be able to score once but there I think many of us got disappointed.

3 more games and leader already has 17 points. I guess we will see a very high yellow cap round!
3376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the ETH 2.0 Solve the issue of high fees on: January 20, 2021, 03:01:30 PM
It is not just what we are meant to believe,,, it is almost precisely the whole reason why ETH 2.0 is happening. It is a direct move to find a solution for that high fee problem that cannot be overcome even with Layer 2 solutions. At least with BTC you could still send a tx even in high congestion but with ETH when it is broken you cannot even send txs.
3377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 3 things to check before joining a crypto bookie (KYC, Provider, Reserve) on: January 20, 2021, 12:31:42 PM
I feel like the third requirement is almost impossible to look at unless you are a pure crypto bookie.
Even if they're pure crypto you're still unlikely to find their reserve of most bookies unless there's a website that actually verifies it similar to how dicesites confirm the bankroll of certain gambling sites.

What I meant to say is that only pure crypto can show this (by giving the address and signing from the holding address) as this is really the only way to prove bankroll. Even if you have other people verify it for you,,, this still means trusting another authority who could possibly be colluding with the casino. We all know self verification is the only way, so this is a very unrealistic expectation:)
3378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best way to sell in 2021 — to buy more on the bear on: January 20, 2021, 12:00:26 PM
My advice from years ago is the same now,,, and in fact probably even more important today with modern exchanges now all requiring their processes to be compliant with regulations in their various countries of operation.

This means KYC yourself. Verify your identity to the maximum possible, if you intend on selling on regulated exchanges.
3379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effective tips to maximize low wager slot games on: January 20, 2021, 10:49:08 AM
From what I know it's vice versa: penny slot machines have 88% - 90% RTP, while dollar slots have RTP from 94% to 96%. I'm not encouraging people to play dollar slots instead of penny ones, because the main purpose should be entertainment, not earning money, and indeed you can make many rolls with your $10 on penny slots before you lose it all, while on dollar slots you can lose $10 within one minute(besides to actually "feel" the RTP you have to make hundreds of thousands rolls), I'm just stating the fact that technically the higher the minimum bet the higher the RTP.

Yes,,, this is also what I have found, although these days the "penny slots" which are satoshi slots now have a very high RTP as well. I think even 94% is considered very low these days, most slots I know are popular (penny or dollar have higher RTPs) but people are playing them for jackpots rather than to get money back I guess.
3380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Strong support with massive volume is developing... on: January 20, 2021, 10:05:17 AM
Good decision. I've also learned in the past about my mistake through selling at an early point. This time it will be a different story and journey for me but I think that once bitcoin reaches $50k, that's already a decent amount for me to not regret selling like 5%-20%.
I'm not also going out of bitcoin as long as I can have it at the slightest and minimal that I can, I'll still pursue to accumulate as much as I can do. So buying back is also part of the plan.

There's not early or late if you have a clear exit strategy. You know what price you want to buy, and you must know the price you want to sell. How long that takes to happen is the market's decision. You cannot be buying and holding and thinking you will decide when "the time is right", not as a trader. It is a different story as a holder.
