About Rossi I'm not a MotoGP fan but I will translate it to F1. If I was an F1 pilot and a team wanted me to continue, I would continue. You're driving the most exciting things on the planet, there is nothing that compares. We have seen these last few years several pilots close to 40 years old or even more staying on, as long as they're wanted.

Also usually with that job comes a nice salary and lots of sponsorships, so $$$.

I also understand someone like Rosberg who quit after becoming champion, or others who feel they got enough danger, but that's not the majority. Most F1 pilots are quite unhappy to see their career ending...

You are right, if the sponsor wants Rossi, then the team will extend his contract, because the money hangs from sponsorship for Rossi. However, as a racer who is at a less productive age, it is time for him to sacrifice his sponsorship wishes and choose a career to become a mentor / coach instead of being a racer for next season. It would be better than him getting worse.

Rossi will remain the Dorna as a cashmaker even after his driver career as presumably team boss. Like last year he will only extend the contract if he is competitive, so just wait for the next races otherwise he will make place for a young driver like last year. For Petronas with merchandising, Rossi is of course an asset.

If Verstappen has just gone wide every turn like Hamilton to get better lap times, yes. But going wide to pass is still something else fundamentally. There are plenty of corners where there is no advantage in going out and thus no enforcement of track limits, where you could use them to overtake by doing some maneuvers (passing by not braking, forcing the other care to brake more, then braking less because you use the parking outside the circuit).

Imola is again an old school track that I'm looking forward to, as last year Verstappen was closer to the Mercedes, but think Verstappen had one defect? But on the Imola track with the sandbanks, every mistake is quickly punished. Due to the pandemic, is it already fixed that they can drive in Imola?

Yes Manchester united are the favorite, but i think Arsenal, Roma and Ajax have also a good chance to win.

I agree that Manchester United and Ajax have good chances of winning, Roma and Arsenal, they are weaker and I'm even a little surprised that Arsenal has a lower odds than Ajax. I would be interested to watch the final of Manchester United - Ajax. But Manchester United looks like the strongest of the above teams.

That would be a good final with big names, I would be happy. But there is still a long way to go and the quarter-final opponents have to be eliminated. Is the final even possible Ajax against Manchester United?

As you can see here, it isn't possible to see Ajax - Manchester Utd final. But they could get a draw against each other in the semi finals. And then, I think Manchester Utd's chance for advancing to the final will be higher.

Thanks, I was looking for a list of what is possible, since I've been an Ajax fan for a long time, I would like the final Ajax against Arsenal. But there is still a long way to go. The half-final duels Ajax against Manchester United and Roma against Arsenal would be very interesting, but others have a say as well.

Well Max has drived the entired race very good even tho his car isnt mercedes and he risked with his tires for i think more them 17+ laps to try and get a bigger lead over hamilton and i heard hamiltons pit crew told him at i think 41/56 lap that max will overtake him in 10 laps and that happened lol
Was an amazing week

Redbull is better than Mercedes right now. At least in this race, it was.
Let's see in the next races but so far it is better, the slight change in the regulation of cars penalized Mercedes a lot.

I think Mercedes is a little bit faster than RedBull and the RedBull looks not as stable as Mercedes, but yes we see that at the next races. But what is wrong with Vettel, he seems a bit at a loss again?

I think its quite contrary because the Honda engine is much more powerful this year but the question is that is he durable ? So far so good but Mercedes doesn't have the same power like Honda but its just the start of the season and we all know that in 2017-18 Ferrari had the best engine and yet they fail to secure any of the titles so this tell us that the real battle is about to begin in the next 2-3 races.

I don't know that Honda engine is better/stronger than Mercedes, we also don't know about Mercedes run at there limits? But I think this year is more balanced than the last and several drivers have the chance to win, not just Mercedes. And also RedBull announced the next update for Imola.

Quote
Less than a year after launching its IOHK-owned network of federated nodes, Cardano is on schedule to reach full decentralization at the end of March 2021. At that point, the already established network of over 1,800 community pools will be responsible for producing all new blocks.

Quelle

So what do you think? are you agree?
You're right, age has forbidden him to return to being the best. His will does not keep up with age. I think for retirement, maybe this year is the right year. Maybe at this time Dorna still considers Rossi as an attraction, so Dorna has changed the regulations regarding the age of the riders. Just look at this year he is still special with a new motorbike engine, different from Morbidelli. If you know, last year's Morbidelli performed better than Rossi. For a new star, maybe if there is a new racer like Marquez who is able to appear dominant this season, that name will become the new favorite racer.

Morbidelli will fight for the title if given a competitive bike.He has experience now from last year and he can be a threat to Marquez who will start in a handicap of minus two races as a minimum this year.

Rossi era is long gonne now and I don't think he can give any more adrenaline in general to the MotoGp races.

Unfortunately, Yamaha is not competitive on all tracks and mostly has tire problems, the factoury team has it better this time. Yamaha usually start the season well in contrast to Suzuki who usually get stronger over the season.

I don't know what was going on with Rossi either, but Morbidelli also drive behind. ~snip~
Yes, you probably already know, Morbidelli doesn't use the new YZR-M1 engine. They chose 3 other racers to use the new machine. Although Morbidelli performed well last year, he finished second at the end of the standings. In Qatar, there are clear differences between the four riders. Just look at the champions Vinales, Quartararo in fifth, and Rossi in twelfth. For Morbidelli failed to finish, I saw in FP 3 he was the fastest. However, it seems that it cannot be used as a reference during the race.

You can't say that across the board, last year Morbidelli was the best Yamaha rider with the older spec.

Qatar Moto GP results.
-snip-

It seems that Rossi must understand that he is old. His great will is not supported by his physique. He was only able to finish in 12th position. It was a good start for Vinales, he won in Qatar. Vinales without a rival after Lap 15 until the finish. An exciting duel was in 2nd and 3rd position between Zarco and Mir, unfortunately at the last corner of Mir Widen and  Bagnaia overtake her took the 3rd position

I don't know what was going on with Rossi either, but Morbidelli also drive behind. Perhaps Petronas had a problem with the vote or went in the wrong direction? Wait for this weekend to see if you can find a more competitive match at Petronas, I wouldn't write off Rossi yet. KTM was also very disappointing for me.

As I heard from the news, Rossi blames the Petronas Team in choosing the tires especially the rear one that makes him hard to compete after few laps.
He and team should learn from the first race as the next race will be on the same circuit, otherwise we can expect that he and team wont get better result.
I also think that he is too old already to be competitive, so I think he need to consider to retire.
He has big name already with many achievements in his carrier, I do not think he should force himself to get another World Champion Title.

Yes he and Morbidelli have problems with the rear tires and he hope Petronas Yamaha can find the problems why. he also said is good to see a Yamaha wining so it's a problem with the settings not the bike.

I agree, it's definitely not motorsport. I've already been to a Formula E race, completely uninteresting, with a Carrera track and friends in the basement you have more fun.

But why do you think it is uninteresting?
Have you ever watched a Formula 1 race live?

Fomula E is for me completely uninteresting and boring, after Formula 1 make also downsizing is also not so interesting, the last years bevor corona i watch every year live MotoGP and there is unfortunately also Moto E and that's between real Motorsport also boring.

I have watched a few Formula e races and I like it, its different, different rules and tactics.
If you compare it to Formula 1 of course there will be a  massive difference.

I have watched Formula 1, MotoGP and WSB in the past and I remember times
when Formula 1 got so boring from the same people and teams winning almost
every race.

The fact that top manufacturers are giving it more attention says a lot.

You mean Formula E because of the manufacturers? For me it's like the electric cars - you just have to be there as a big manufacturer whether you want to or not. It's nothing for me I grew up with real motorsport 500 cc and V10 / V12 with Mick Doohan/Gerhard Berger that was still real motorsport for me. In Formula 1 you should reintroduce refueling then you could also use more tactics, but the last few years have been very boring in Formula 1 so I only watch MotoGP live.
3373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 30, 2021, 08:33:47 AM

I’ll also agree that Manchester United have got a dream draw in the place of Granada, but I hope that they won’t slip and allow Granada to take advantage because their champions league spot is almost secured, hence I’m not sure if they’ll play with full power in Europa matches. Furthermore I’m favouring Ajax to win the trophy if Manchester United gets eliminated at some stage, because this club deserves a trophy for all it’s recent success on the pitch.

I think Manchester United have the toughest draw of all teams; because they simply are facing a Granada team reaching the quarters for the first time in their entire history, they will be extra motivated to make a statement; the question now is that, Can Manchester United put them where they belong like they dealt with Sociedad? I suppose so

I am not sure about the "toughest" as there is a draw between Ajax and Roma also. And it is like an early final game in this tournament. Anyway, as I said before Manchester Utd are the favourite of course but I think Granada will put up a much better fight against Manchester Utd compared to Real Sociedad.

It's always very difficult to assess the balance of power in the final laps. The teams are not in the quarter-finals just because of luck, they have already shown performance. It will certainly depend on the form of the day in the next two games.

Also hast du die BEST mit vorhandenen BTC gekauft?

Ja.

Quelle:https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitpanda-ecosystem-token/

Ajax plays in Europe most times their best soccer. The reaxhed the finals few years ago , got to the semi finals in the CL. So the match against AS Roma would be interesting. Lets hope we get to attractive matches.

For Ajax is Roma a very difficult thing to do, but in the quarter-finals it is just that there are no easy opponents. But I think that Ajax can beat Roma if they get a good result in the first game.

^  The overcut turned out to have worked in Hamilton’s favor.  Brilliant performance from him and it really showed how Hamilton is really good at managing his tires towards the end.  Can’t wait for the next one.

This season’s gonna be close between RBR and Merc.

I don't think between RedBull and Mercedes, rather between Verstappen and Hamilton. Bottas have only a very little Chance for the championship, the second drivers by RedBull and Mercedes not strong enought.

Good start from Verstappen, it looks like Red Bull can set the pace. Alfa Romeo also seems to be stronger this year and can compete for points, I'm happy for Raikkönen so i hope he also drive next year.

Ferrari is definitely better than last year, which can also be seen in the other vehicles with Ferrari engines. Unfortunately this is the last year for Honda now that they are competitive. In any case, wait and see how the teams behave in the long run.

Engines are frozen from now until 2025 and Redbull/Alpha Tauri will still use them till then at least is what I had read in this months.
Who knows what will happen later, we have rumors about V10 but I don't think they will go back to those monsters.

Thanks, I didn't know that the engine freeze was already fixed. But otherwise I've also heard that RedBull is developing on its own with the help of Honda. I would be happy about a V10 sound again, unfortunately it won't come back.
3380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 28, 2021, 11:06:52 AM
As predicted the engine of Honda is a big engine and now it maybe even better than the Mercedes' Engine.
Don't look only at RedBulls but be amazed by Alpha Tauri.
Ferrari improved a lot, sadly Sainz did a mistake or it could be near LeCleck.

Mercedes, at least Bottas has problems in long runs with tires while Redbull is one of the best with the management of tires.
The prediction is Max Winner.

After Verstappen its hard to say who will go on podium it depends on who will manage better the tires, one of the best doing so is Perez but he is behind.
Ferrari maybe solved this problem too but...

I'm going with

VER
HAM
GAS
LECR
BOTT
SAINZ

Ferrari is definitely better than last year, which can also be seen in the other vehicles with Ferrari engines. Unfortunately this is the last year for Honda now that they are competitive. In any case, wait and see how the teams behave in the long run.
