OHHH WHAT A RACE!!!!
Incredible and amazing victory for Mercedes and LH. Mercedes teachs RB how to do a win whitout having the better car. And this time also Lewis teach Verstappen(im not a fan of lewis) but he teach how to manage and support all the pressure.
Max need to learn some.
In other hand good pass forward for Ferrari, Mclaren seem really good and competitive, Alpine a disaster compared to the last year, and Aston Martin i cant believe how you can go so backwards and poor Seb.
Alpha Tauri seems strong but Gasly have some really bad luck broken the front wing.

Yes what an amazing race,didnt watch formula 1 for such a long time,but glad i came in and watched it today. Too bad verstappen didnt win today was cheering for him and all the risks him and his crew took against the powerfull mercedes. I guess Hamiltons experience won today,but still what a race.

It was not only Hamilton but the entire team behind him who made a great choice regarding the strategy and in the end it was the winning one. I mean , who would've put the hard tyres only for 15 laps ? and then change again into hard tyre and go 35 ? It's clearly that the Mercedes strategies know what they are doing and it seems to have an answer even when the car doesn't have the pace. Can they do it again ? Hmm I doubt undercuts like this will work again.

Indeed, the tyre strategy won the race, but it was luck too.
Their strategy had quite a role for Bottas in it and with the problems at his most important tyre change, the whole strategy had to be changed.
I think that RBR counter-strategy was a bit weak: didn't properly account the cars one lap behind.

Well even if Max is still young, this is his 7year of F1 he did a huge mistake he is young but with a lot of experience.
He needed just to wait for 1 lap and do the easy overtake with the DRS.

Anyway, I'm happy for the Hamilton win even if I'm not truly his fan.

Of course I thought Nikita Mazepin would not finish this race very well, but I thought he would at least finish it . In general, this season started for Haas 1 is not going very well. But I always enjoy Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes, but I did not expect anything else from him.

Thanks but I only bet 5$ on him as I knew Nikita won't be able to stand the pressure of a start in F1 , not yet at least. However I'm sure he will have more abandons in this F1 season so I might trow every race a couple of $ that he won't finish the race or first out of the race. I have a feeling Alpine also will have abandons as Alonso itself told in an interview that the car is in development from race to race and he is not expecting a very shiny season. Regarding abandons I think all the other cars are having good engines so this might be a season where we could assist in less abandons than usual and more racing between pilots because we saw today that places from 4-8 and 9-14 were so tight and all that cars seems almost equal.

Ferrari is definitely better than last year, which can also be seen in the other vehicles with Ferrari engines. Unfortunately this is the last year for Honda now that they are competitive. In any case, wait and see how the teams behave in the long run.

Engines are frozen from now until 2025 and Redbull/Alpha Tauri will still use them till then at least is what I had read in this months.
Who knows what will happen later, we have rumors about V10 but I don't think they will go back to those monsters.

Thanks, I didn't know that the engine freeze was already fixed. But otherwise I've also heard that RedBull is developing on its own with the help of Honda. I would be happy about a V10 sound again, unfortunately it won't come back.

There was something up with Red Bull's engine even before the race started as they had said Perez's car was having troubles and were fixing it an hour before it had to go out to the starting line. Then it caused his car to shutdown during the formation lap.

The cars front panel lights shutoff completely on his steering wheel and he had to do some quick thinking to get it going. I thought they would of had to tow the car off the field even before the first lap started. That's why there were 56 laps instead of 57 laps for the race.

Verstappen won in first Formula One race this season and that was expected like bookies suggested with their odds, but my bet was on Hamilton that finished third.
Team Mercedes has most points because both drivers finsihed in top five, but I expected more from Aston Martin team that has only 1 point so far.
Good thing is that we don't have to wait to much for next April race in Italy.

Let's see in the next races but so far it is better, the slight change in the regulation of cars penalized Mercedes a lot.

It was an awesome race week and I agree. Even Mercedes said that they aren't better than Red Bull now despite winning the race. I really missed this high competition in F1, man. I'm looking forward to see the next race in Italy. I hope this time Verstappen can get his first victory in the season.

In the old days you would not see such things my uncle who used to watch Ferrari all the time would tell me. Or you do that and you get fired and your whole family is shamed all the time. Now the guy responsible probably did not even get a word on his CV;)

But anyway, if NASA can have small issues like lizards on the pipeline then I suppose random rubbish stuck to the brake is not abnormal;)

It was sandwich wrapper literally, no double meaning. It's piece of paper or plastic where sandwich is packed.
Yeah, such long breaks looks strange after such intensive season that we had last year.

I can't wait to watch the next race in Italy but there are many days ahead before the event.

I absolutely enjoyed the Bahrain GP and I've realized that I really missed seeing a high competition for the 1st position. Verstappen and Hamilton fought really great against each other and the last laps were too exciting.

If the race control didn't want Verstappen to give back the 1st place to Hamilton, I think Verstappen would win the race.

And at turn 4, Hamilton went wide so many times but he got only a warning. He was really lucky about it too.

But in the end, I think both drivers had a great race week.

When you have 7 on top it is not a matter of luck at all, even if it is the popular 7 of luck. 

If indeed I share a great race! and also waiting for the next race... but entertaining days come to prepare the next bet, with the analyzes that must be done of Bahrain GP and the "GP" to come.

Yeah, such long breaks looks strange after such intensive season that we had last year.

I actually thought we would all get okay with all the sports coming up bunched together but still there's this weird feeling of emptiness in between such crazy seasons that's probably affecting the sportspeople themselves even more than us. I think a few tennis people were complaining about it but maybe for F1 drivers the training doesn't end. I remember Hamilton was saying a few months ago he really felt Covid fatigue.

I think Mercedes is a little bit faster than RedBull and the RedBull looks not as stable as Mercedes, but yes we see that at the next races. But what is wrong with Vettel, he seems a bit at a loss again?

People will lose interest with other things.
Why do they need to be so stupid to change the schedule in this way??
They think they are a bullet proof sport? No one is.
