Note: Taking your profit does not mean selling your entire portfolio; it means taking profit; retaining your capital
You can always buy back the low

This is good but risky. So many people sold off in 2017 when price was at $15,000, they waited for a more reasonable drop back to $11,000 so they could rebuy but price didn't come down then rather, price got to $17,000 and they bought, the lucky ones resold at $19,000 while some unlucky ones expected it will get to $50,000  Shocked (because of the volatility) but it crashed them to losses.

For me I buy and wait for a hundred percent increase before selling and don't buy again until another hundred percent decrease. By this I know price will soon increase if I buy that low. Being patient helps.
3382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Central Banks in the Age of Blockchains on: May 06, 2019, 04:17:35 PM
I already saw a post regarding this and as much as I remember, the IMF is being ready to provide this Learning Coin as a structure/platform to monitor how would a cryptocurrency work. It means that all the pro's and cons will be checked without any flowery stuff. The problem is, the IMF could use this against the whole blockchain technology but we will see it soon.

I'm also feeling that the IMF in such research is to seek a way to formulate possible control of crypto projects and activities. Of course, the IMF would always put a finger where they have interest for control but unfortunately, crypto isn't fiat related.
3383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain adoption on: May 05, 2019, 10:20:38 PM
Some government have already started adopting the blockchain technology and the full adoption will create entirely a new world system, this will push out so many practices that we know at moment. For instance, it will reduce the labour force in offices that are majorly concern with data collection like the population commissions/agencies or organization. It will also reduce the electoral staffs. Also, many computer operating jobs will fissle out and replaced by few programmers and coders.
3384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies don't want to learn on: May 05, 2019, 10:02:48 PM
There are many things you guys can learn from the beginners thread ,just head there and check it out, that thread is helpful

I read this you wrote and it got me nodding my head in agreement with your idea, I think you have some good observation here because I have also checked out some newbies with just less than 10 posts but no one in beginners board.

Although some are experienced in what idea they are sharing but I think they are not obeying the rules.

I suggest you take this thread to meta, maybe it could get theymos thinking on how to get newbies to do some posts in beginners board before being allowed to freely post in other boards

3387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex trading, an alternative to earn bitcoins on: May 02, 2019, 10:07:13 PM
But have you considered the risks involved in the forex

As to what I know and can say, no market that is isolated from risk, they all have risk but we can't fold our arms and not to struggle to survive because of fear of losing our money. I believe that even losing your bitcoin in trade is more painful than fiat because bitcoin price is likely to increase far more than fiat.

3389  Economy / Economics / Re: If you could make any economy/token/currency what would you make? on: May 01, 2019, 05:43:20 PM
I am trying to make this economy more power then all problems will clear.

On a thought, I was looking at something like that, maybe like a more peaceful environment, no chaos, no destruction etc but I came to my conscience that people's interaction brings understanding and misunderstanding, and there will be some issues.
3390  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin Turns Wasted Energy Into Magical Internet Money on: April 30, 2019, 12:20:40 PM
Oh... From the title, I was thinking energy like physical energy, utility invested into bitcoin but wasn't looking in the area of electricity and power until I read the post but then I'm thinking no energy should be estimated to have been "wasted" if without such energy, we won't get to have bitcoin. This new generational asset and investment.
3391  Economy / Services / Re: Windice.io Signature Campaign(FULL) on: April 28, 2019, 02:52:12 PM
When this campaign end, sir?

Shocked Most ridiculous question I have read.

Can you provide your reason for asking Huh

Or ! maybe you want to hire the CM for your signature campaign  Grin; if that is it , you can PM him, he can handle many projects at same time and deliver a good job. You therefore don't need to wait till he finishes one .
3392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: April 26, 2019, 03:28:25 PM
Gambling in the past use to be an illicit habit. I'm also thinking that in that same past, there could have been restrictions, keeping people away from gambling. Therefore, it is understandable if gamblers try to avoid KYC enabled casino because it reveals their identity. Again to say the least is that crypto business is suppose to be KYC free and this is more, the reason for such avoidance.
3393  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex locked me out on: April 25, 2019, 02:18:46 PM
I have had  the legacy account for years.

Since you have had this account for years, maybe it is an update that is going on, thus requiring you to provide current data. Basically, most exchanges now are requiring for KFC, so that is possibly what this is.
3394  Economy / Services / Re: 🚧 Julerz12 Bounty Campaign Management Service 🚧 on: April 22, 2019, 06:16:54 PM
I am really grateful that I worked with you once and i really loved your level of transparency and organization. It was top-notch.
You were also very helpful and willing to listen to any complaints too.
There not so many great managers in this forum and I rate you among the top 5 best Campaign managers in the forum.

Not sure if this is the right place to leave a suggestion but i would love to make a small suggestion about the announcement of open spots in your campaigns.
I kind of feel you should make the application process a little open for more hours, at least around 24 hours to cater for people who are in the different time zones from yours so that you peak the best posters.

Personally if I were to not under any campaign and were to apply for yours, I don't think I would stand a chance because I have never got your campaign open, probably due to the time zone differences  Cheesy

Otherwise, keep up the good work.
Cheers.

But, we should not have signature campaign running the same way and time zones can't be the same even with campaign managers.

Moreover, his campaign is usually filled within hours with equally good posters, where he selects from.

Personally, I believe if one seeking for a job, you are advised to get to the office before your interviewers, which is one criteria for selection.

Julerz12 is quite doing a nice job. Though I missed your zero campaign, hope to get in next time  Grin

Cheers...
3395  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) on: April 19, 2019, 04:28:29 PM
This campaign really requires a high profile manager to handle it because, the number of post coming to the forum when it kicks off (if it does  Shocked) will be high. Just to check spamming at least.
3396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When did you start trading? on: April 17, 2019, 05:06:11 PM
I trade for almost two years now and i admit i made more mistakes most especially on my first months and even having it until now. Trading is hard and you cant master it just by reading books. You need to get a hands on experience to make you good at it. I still have some mistakes until now but im not afraid to tell it to you becuse its just normal and i take it as a positive thing, learn from it and tradr again.

It is reasonable to say show me a trader and he will recount his Ir her mistakes to you. Therefore, it is difficult to see a trader who have learnt trading without mistakes but the thing is not making same mistakes all the time.
3397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalp trading vs. Swing trading, which is your style? on: April 16, 2019, 11:35:41 AM
I think it varies especially with the trading pattern you know. If scalping is the way you profit, volatility or not wouldn't scare you because you already understand when you should take your profit.
3398  Economy / Services / Re: [2 OPEN SPOTS] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ | Up to 0.0375 BTC/week on: April 14, 2019, 03:34:12 PM
What would my chances be if I were to apply Darkstar_?  Grin

Huh Huh Grin Grin Shocked Roll Eyes
I got blown off with laughter. CM, more like being worried of rejection.

Take the leap of faith, Darkstar_ understands you are worth the do as a very high profiled legendary member. I think if you are not picked, might be for a reason other than, you can't stand the chipmixer heat (it maybe a consideration of your work load), so it won't get users worried but...
What I think will get users mused could be if you get kicked out after sometime  Grin

That could bring up some thread. I wonder what the thread title would be.  Grin
3399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Digital Coins time notifier by time on: April 14, 2019, 02:58:16 PM
I'm currently using Cma(CoinMarketAlert). As for me, it's the most reliable notifier where I usually receive an alert via email. I could check the prices live without any hassle. It tracks prices so I don't have to look after all my holdings all the time. It's really an advantage to receive notification to monitor the prices.

I have suggested it previously, indeed it is good site but I still prefer to get notified on my mobile phone through the notification bar instead of by email. Simply because using mobile application gives me faster and easier notification to read compared to email notification where I need to open the email which means it get a bit delay.

Sure , phone notification is better because you can immediately see it while it is still buzzing on you. That's the one I prefer because sometimes you might need to check up your password and need to start searching, it might not be within for instance.
3400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Sign Up with Rizin Fighting Federation on: April 13, 2019, 01:20:55 PM
-Snip-
My bad for not seeing it. But still Pacquiao is still at the disadvantage it's like taking a spider out from its web. Pacquiao know boxing and Takanori Gomi knows martial arts and they will fight what fighting stance and skills they know.

Is martial arts involved in boxing? I think that will only add to flexibility, strength and patience. I could see the guy on the photo in a posture that looks like martial though and with no hand gloves  Grin
