People should always download from the OP just to be safe FYI!

Smiley

Also, OP still links to:

  CLAMs v. 1.4.10 TEST-Build

and

  CLAMs v. 1.4.7 STABLE

It's going to be impossible for people to guess which of 1.4.7 (stable), 1.4.10 (test), or 1.4.11 (unlabelled) to download.

CLAMs v1.4.11 Release:
Nice.

Which commit was this built from? We should move the release tag, since it's almost certainly currently in the wrong place.

actually i dont know about math,, haha but from what i experienced while playing dice at some sites dice
there is a pattern in which when i played with 49.95% chance to win, they system gave me zigzag win, (i mean low hi low hi low hi)
and stright low / hi, point is we must know how many times we have to lo and how many times we have to high ..
if we dwell only on one bet (assuming low bet) i think we're not going to win in the end .. and ofc little luck very influential  Grin

If there really is a tendency for HLHLH, HHHHH, and LLLLL to come up more often than they should, you should be able to use that information to beat the house.

Simply bet small amounts until you see HLHL, HHHH, or LLLL, and then bet a larger amount on your next bet, since you "know" what is most likely to happen next.

Or, in other words "put your money where your mouth is". Smiley

That seems a little rude. How does advertising JD make me a whore?

Because you have sex* for money.

*Edit: unwanted, gross sex.

Double-Edit: When's the last time you took the words out of a whore's mouth seriously? You want to be taken seriously? Stop being a whore.

Since you can buy and sell accounts like it was water, there's no reason to think you command any sort of additional respect just because your account is old.

I don't have sex for money and so the rest of your post doesn't follow. I've also never bought nor sold an account and never expect to do so. I've never even received any offers to buy this account, believe it or not.

Also, troll harder.
3385  Other / Meta / Re: Post here if your account was *NOT* hacked on: May 27, 2015, 12:54:16 AM
Here is an idea, if you have been able to properly secure your account (e.g. login and change your password)

Is there really any need to change your password to secure your account? The chance of an attacker finding a password that hashes to the same 256 bit result as my password does is effectively zero. They're more likely to brute-force a private key that spends my Bitcoins (2^256 is much bigger than 2^160) than to brute force my forum password.

Edit: it was hard finding a post where I mentioned a Bitcoin address I own, but here's one:

Anybody who advertises any sort of dice or investment opportunity is a whore, basically

That seems a little rude. How does advertising JD make me a whore?
3387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 27, 2015, 12:36:20 AM
Looks like he lost 3000 Clam which is like 15 BTC. But looking at the chart, it looks like he started from 0. So did he actually lose any money or break-even?

The y-axis shows his profit. It started at zero, went up to 3k, then down to -2.5k. The final loss was a loss of 5.5k, 3k of which was pre-existing profit, and 2.5k of which wasn't.

I looked at the bet log, and it's weird:

It looks like two bots running at the same time on the same account - one running martingale, and one flat-betting?
3389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 26, 2015, 09:53:32 PM
Martingale works or not, really not a bad question but everyone ( really everyone ) has his own ideas and hard to justify any.

I have another exhibit:

I put it to you that no, martingale doesn't really works.
3390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 26, 2015, 09:42:32 PM
Wasn't the bot supposed to alert him at 100 losses?

Something like that. I think he changed the threshold a little over time.

Invested looks a bit lower today.

I think it happened shortly after Tiger busted:

He had evidently been warned twice in between 18th and 20th of May...

Yes, he knew the risks. He said he was betting that he would reach 10k profit before finding a streak longer than 160. I guess he had set his starting bet such that he could afford to cover a losing streak that long.
3393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: May 26, 2015, 09:23:29 PM
TigerTatas finally hit a losing streak.

See the legendary Does martingale really works? thread for a chart etc.

His loss sent the site profit to a new all-time high, breaking us out of a 3 week lull:

Cyyy screenshotted the tail end of his losing streak:

The question now is whether he will write the loss off, or continue trying to find the end of the streak.
3394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 26, 2015, 09:17:13 PM
Over the last 2 or 3 weeks we had a guy at Just-Dice running 40 bots, all betting dust at 9% chance of winning, looking for long losing streaks. When a bit bot hit a streak of 100 or so losses in a row, it would stop and alert the guy, who would then take over and bet at 9% manually, increasing the stake by about 10% each roll.

It worked very well for 22.5 million rolls, and then this happened:

Yet another great example of how martingale works great until it doesn't!

Here's the losing streak - 163 losses in a row at 9%:

I did not want to add just another choice for people. So I went out and created a brand new line of coins to compliment the current market.

Doesn't that just add another choice for people? I don't get it.

I'm not overly familiar with how these things work. Do you put one of your private keys under the security sticker? Is that safe?

I guess buyers would have to trust you with their savings if they intend to fund the coins.

(Doog & Deb were also a great help in the early testing of the game. Any issues with the site are obviously my own fault however!)

Deb contributed a bunch of trivia questions too. I know, because earlier when I was playing it asked me a question I had no idea about, and said "question written by Deb" at the bottom. lol. I got it wrong. Sad

there could be more information about loosing possibility on dice sites

What more information do you want?

They tell you that you have a 49.5% chance of doubling your money. That should be enough for you to see that that's a 50.5% chance of you losing... Since 49.5% is smaller than 50.5%, you're more likely to lose than to win. Only a little more likely, but more likely.

That's why the dice sites usually win in the end, because of that small difference.

HYIP programs on the other hand almost always tell you that your profit is guaranteed, when in fact it isn't at all, and your expected profit is negative.

I love game of thrones.  lol.. I'll have to check this one out.  I like the house banners.  It would be cool to tie in all the sayings for the families too... like "winter is coming" and all that.  And more dragons... definitely more dragons!

There are trivial questions that pop up when you win, and your win involved your house banner. Some of them ask about the sayings. I think one of the questions is "what is the (saying) for the house of Stark"... if you get it right, you win more than if you get it wrong, but if you get it wrong you still win something.

I just bet 1000, hit two triples in a row, including one set of my own house banners. I got the question right, and so won 4500, for a profit of 3500. My win didn't show up in the chat, although a couple of my smaller wins did.
