Bitcoin cannot destroy the economy, since bitcoin is money then it is the opposite, bitcoin was created to help the economy to flourish by offering a new version of money that is the most practical yet devised by humans what it can do is to limit the power of governments. Limiting the power of governments on controlling their own economy because of bitcoin is becoming their primary currency is indirectly destroying the economy. If bitcoin becoming just 2nd option or an alternative currency then it's definitely fine but different if bitcoin is really dominating the whole economy of a country and government can't do anything, there might be many criminalities occur due to this case and probably people will take advantages of each other I agree. Governments always want to control the economy. Some Governments have realized that they cannot shut down bitcoin easily as egold and alternate currencies that were developed before bitcoin. So they try to bring in regulations and tax on bitcoin to discourage people form dealing with it. it seems the government does not earn anything from the bitcoin, because bitcoin is purely of transactions that we do, as do so directly. besides, most people who hate bitcoin liked it, but I think the government made a big mistake to specify a bitcoin of a country. |

The only thing that seems to be somewhat worthy of mentioning, is the dump that started somewhere in mid January that got the price to go down from around $440 to below $360 in a very short time. I am not sure what the exact reason was, but it was a very decent price to enter the market for sure. well, it looks like the Christmas drop did happen or it might happen. What was the top just day ago? 920? it is not down to 867, that is a nice drop. Well, I guess this prediction misses. but, I also had thought that the price of bitcoin will arrive at the price of $ 1,000 at the time of Christmas, because of the increase in bitcoin happened. but I guess it was the opposite. bitcoin prices declined at Christmas time, and I think the decline is not too far from the price of $ 900 |

People are just blindly buying as they only focus on the price to reach $1000 any time soon. They however don't realize that the current price is already overbought. I've read here a lot about "Gambling doesn't make you rich" So I thought about it, and it does make sense. So what do you feel about gambling then? Just entertainment? I think that's not everybody's mindset.
In the back of my mind, I want to be rich but not because of gambling. But when I gamble, I still always want to win. So when you always win, you become more rich and more risk will be involved. Anyway, if I would earn a winning bet that would have a lot of profit from, I would withdraw the initial bet or the bitcoins I deposited to get it back, then still gamble.
