Be alerted about the governments action? you can't do anything with that if after your sleep, they'll announce something negative that you don't like. But it's the government and most of their actions lies to the officials that are sitting in the power.

And if it relates to crypto news, they have been doing negative news even years ago so this is not that uncommon anymore. You hear and read negative news from a government official how bad bitcoin is and also from those economic experts. But they've never won against it.
3382  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't send out coins blindly, do your research and check for reviews on: January 17, 2021, 09:49:45 PM
I don't believe the coins are gone just like that, coinswitch teams should be able to solve this problem since they can track the transaction hash themselves, it's easy to find out if he get the ETH successfully or not, I once have this issue with changelly in 2017 and they helped out
They did help him with his latest update as posted.

In his latest update, which he made today, he confirmed receiving his money back.
I don't think Coinswitch is a scam because many other members used their services and everythig went smoothly but they definitely have a terrible customer support. It took op a whole week to hear back from them and to get his money back which is not acceptable.
It is good news that they were able to help him get back the ETHs that he believed to be lost. But it's not the case that he believed because it was returned to him. I agree that it shouldn't take that long for him to retrieve those ETHs back and the customer support should have done it well. I guess next time, they'll be more responsive to avoid further incidents like this.
3383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't send out coins blindly, do your research and check for reviews on: January 16, 2021, 10:16:58 PM
Coinswitch is like changelly.

I think he has provided the order number or ID for his transaction through the support. His story on how he didn't receive his funds, maybe led to a bug for Coinswitch during his transaction with that 12 ETH.

If his order failed, contacting the support will help him but it's been a day that he hasn't received a reply from the support. And if there's still no reply from the support within the next 24 hours, coinswitch failed to help one of their customer.

I will also freak out if that has happened to me with the same amount.

There's a lot of good, reputable, and common exchanges, why he chose to use them? feels bad.

I am not familiar with coinswitch but seems the accuser hasn't mentioned the website name.
The website is coinswitch.co

What are the experts in boxing and are good in analysis can say about his talk?

Welcoming your 1st - 3rd post.  Wink

buy the dip, hodl, repeat
This isn't hard to understand for those who still got rekt investing too much into altcoins. You can invest as much as you want in alts but having your safest portfolio should always be with bitcoin. Holding never gets stomped in the entire history of bitcoin and even in the most bearish days, it's been the safest strategy.

The technology is here to stay and still underestimated.
Yup, it's not yet recognized by many huge investors but they'll be late when they do, or at least if bitcoin hits $100k, they will witness it, only witness it but they won't have it.
3387  Economy / Gambling / Re: playtech's new live game - Adventures Beyond Wonderland on: January 11, 2021, 09:50:02 PM
I was about to visit the website but it has already asked to confirm my legal age. I know it's necessary for them to do this to avoid kids to gamble and use their platform.

But that is just annoying.

I didn't continue and closed the website.

I don't really care about these issues, as I usually spend all the profits (when I win something) on upcoming matches.
this is a good thing to play for fun and not for profit.
Age confirmation is usually requested only for withdrawals, often not even that.
But they're already asking it upon the visit. And just for those gamblers that want to see it first, they don't give it time for the guest to allow them to explore their website if they're already wanting to know the age.

It just don't feel that I'll be liking if it's happening already upon visit when you just want to see some of the parts of their website and see the stats or pages like FAQ.

Being a developer and also an investor. You want to own so entrepreneurial skills is a must for you. It's a thinking that you should have and what you're just doing right now is the start of it. Gathering information which are a must and which are not.

You're starting it. And as I've said being an investor because you need funding, if no one would be willing to invest for you to make it happen, you should have the one who must use your own pocket's money. It is hard to start and you'll go through a lot of mental toughness and challenges but once it's build up and you already have the reputation, you only have to maintain it.
3390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: January 05, 2021, 11:02:34 PM
Everyone needs experience. Without experience you can't do any work properly. But to gain experience you have to take step forward. So a newbie should start his trading career with small amount of money. After gathering knowledge about this platform you can start up the real business with your assets.
Every trading expert once became a newbie. And that's what every newbie has to gain, experience. But with that experience, it also includes frustrations, losses, small wins and lessons.

A newbie that wants to learn more about trading should be consistent and is okay to accept those challenges. Because if there's no risk, then don't except that you can overcome more challenges in the future and in trading, it requires a lot of patience and dedication.

You are not sure that you'll win with your trades.
3391  Economy / Exchanges / Re: best place to trade BTC on: January 03, 2021, 11:41:25 PM
Binance would be the most suggested exchange of all time.

Easy, secure, low-cost to trade crypto. Coinbase just provide services in certain countries. Who can name some . Thank you
Coinbase is a web wallet and their tandem in trading is their very own Coinbase Pro.

3393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Trend is Changing | Adopt YourSelf ! on: December 30, 2020, 11:54:52 PM
So this is why, you should leave the old habits including FOMO, panic sells, quick returns, getting rich in one day stuff.
You have to be very systematic these days. If you play with plan then you can make plenty of difference in your current asset or portfolio.
Having an old or new approach to the market depends to the trader and investor. If he's comfortable to have it in the old style and he's more productive through it, we can't forced them to stop with quick returns. They are traders and that's how they live.

And for the investors, we know that patience is a requirement and it's hard to beat the market without it. FOMO and panic selling are usually being done by those people that don't have plan in the long run. But if they've sold for profits, it's their strategy and it's up to them how they could cope up with the market for their own benefit.
3394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex removing XRP on: December 30, 2020, 05:05:32 AM
Here they go.

The other popular exchanges started to show what are their decision towards this lawsuit for XRP. And here they are, removing XRP after those who had made their decisions. I've also noticed the kucoin announcement with the depositing and trading of XRP and the chance to win USDT.

I guess XRP has found some exchanges to be with them even during this hot lawsuit issue that they have.

Maybe XRP paid KuCoin to hold this competition, but yes. this is very dangerous for KuCoin's reputation
https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-for-blockchain-trade-deposit-xrp-on-kucoin-to-share-100000-usdt
Maybe this could be something personal on their end before other exchanges fully halt the operation with XRP. They will dump it all at once with those traders that would join this contest. That's just my wild guess.
3395  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Ledger Email on: December 30, 2020, 03:59:34 AM
The email of the sender should always be checked first. If it's an obvious scammer and not from Ledger, just ignore and delete the email.

The customers' info database from Ledger has been hacked and that's the reason why owners of Ledger wallets are likely to receive these scam emails.

Hacked Ledger Database Dumped On Raidforums
they used bots to send fake emails to all Ledger users emails, i am pretty sure everyone received them, it's not really hard to set up a bot with a specific email and use a list of emails to send to, a lot of people can do that.
Yeah, I've just checked my email and I've received a fake email too.

But it was automatically thrown to the spam folder which I don't check at all. Their emails are easy to determine if you've been aware of these fake and scam emails. Ledger can't do anything with it anymore as the database and our emails were already on the hackers and forums where they've been staying.

We only need to ignore and don't waste time checking them if it's an obviously fake email notification.

3397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think it will be over for Ripple this 2021? on: December 29, 2020, 10:38:37 PM
I believe SEC has an airtight case against Ripple because they waited 7 long years and they waited for Ripple to make mistakes through their action that can make them fall into a security token, what do you think, we'll still have Ripple in the market this 2021 or they are gone before 2021 ends?
If most exchanges will follow each other's move just as Coinbase's as what this news says.

Crypto token XRP falls as much as 31% after Coinbase says it will halt trading following SEC complaint against Ripple

Then, it would be a very bad year for XRP and people who are holding it. Taking action as early as today will determine what would result in your holdings if you're someone who's an investor of XRP. If you can analyze the situation for Ripple and it seems hard for them to win this case, expect a fall in results by 2021.
3398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: December 29, 2020, 09:58:25 PM
It's painful while watching your investment go low in value but you don't lose if you kept holding and wait for its reversal. When you sell it at loss and the price was totally low, you get the losses.

The patience that you will have into those times will help you grow and improve yourself into temperance. Many are complaining that their investments were in losses because they have sold at loss and they can't attain to hold further. That resulted them to being tempted to sell whether it is a loss for them.

As long as you're investing with a potential coin, doubting, or panicking during the red market wouldn't help especially in a long-term holding. Many of us fail because of the fear of losing our funds but once you trust your coin, you should learn how to deal with the possible changes. Crypto investing doesn't only need funds but also patience and perfect timing.
Panicking is one reason why someone losses his money if the market is in the bloody days.

As a long-term holder, been with it many times and you only need to be intact in holding, and instead, you can buy on those moments for you to have more into your portfolio. When you let your emotion go into yourself first, you'll be into panicking and you might even sell everything you have in losses.

Patience and wise decision.

They all add up to have a fruitful investing experience.
3399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: December 28, 2020, 11:45:25 PM
So easy to say but very hard to follow Especially for long term investors. It's never a pleasant thing to invest in a coin and then watch your investment go low. I have come to realize that in any situation of the market, patience is much needed and also your choice of coins for investment and time of investment also matters. A simple way out is to plan your funds, dont fomo, buy at more dip, take profit at intervals.

3400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The reason behind the XRP's 2nd wave of hard dump! on: December 28, 2020, 10:55:41 PM
They had it only for the US customers. I get the idea that exchanges will stop trading operation for their users that are residing in the US because the lawsuit is specific from that country. It is bitstamp and one of the largest exchange that we have. What if other big exchanges also announce the same thing.

Even if the announcement would only halt trading for XRP on US users, still that's a huge loss for the XRPs market. A market that will be halt because of the lawsuit and might be followed by several delisting for the safety of the exchanges that supports it.
Ripple team should plan ahead or earlier, it's not new that some altcoins even exchange were questioned by Sec in US. Other projects moved in different countries or countries that are not strict in crypto operation to operate their businesss, it may limit the use of US Citizen but they will have more room to do business and make plans to attract more countries if they will be staying in a country we're crypto is not much a problem as long as they are registered.
Moving onto another country wouldn't be a good idea. Just you look that the charges were directly into two people and if they try to flee instead of facing the lawsuit, they could get into a deeper trouble. I mean a bigger problem that they should regret doing.

They couldn't just grow their business if there's a pending case and they've chose to move into another country instead of solving it. That's not a good option for them if they are ever going to that by chance.
