3381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: April 03, 2020, 11:06:34 AM
Well, although it is hard to reach $3,884 again, it could be possible to happen as we know that the crypto market has volatility. If that happens, I guess we need to be ready to buy at that price. But I hope that it won't happen because we already reach the lowest price before, and we hope that the price can increase and break the next high price.

I think future dumps would be inevitable.

There are those people that hold Bitcoin that may forcibly sell in order to buy essentials for their family to use for the weeks of quarantine. This kind of pandemic will be longer than we thought and those people in countries that are majorly affected by this pandemic would be really dumping their Bitcoins for their safety. There is a possibility that it will still dump but let's just keep in our minds that it is a chance and not the time to spread FUD.

I don't think people will dump because they panic and looking for safety, maybe the fool or the weak hands but there are smart investors here, they are willing to take bigger risk and they are gambling with the crypto market.

in fact, Warren Buffett once said that bitcoin is a gambling device, so anyone who invested here are gamblers and can afford to lose their investment.

3382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 03, 2020, 10:18:31 AM
Arwind Santos is also at 38 and will turn 39 this June. Still, lots of works to be included in the 10,000 point mark as we know the SMB team has lots of scorers.

I agree with that, Santos although a good shooter but most of his shots now are just in 3 point range, he is not really the main scorer of the team so it will be hard for him to catch up. Anyway, to be included in top 20 is already a good achievement, that means he is better than the other players that is not included in the list, I'm even surprise I have not seen castro on the list.

He will struggle to reach that far since the ball is shared on smb and also the age factor is a huge burden plus there's current disease occuring which really affect his milestone, so for this I don't think he can reach that not unless if he still play balls at the age of 40.

And castro's game is seasonal age factor hits them up that's why he's little been slow down compare on the  past years of his career.

I noticed that castro has been facilitating the ball more than creating a point of his own, maybe he is now trying to keep himself healthy and to avoid from any injury, so maybe that's the reason why he is not in the list because if he would really like to score, for sure he can do that as he is the main man in his team.

Castro would not retire soon, he is just 33 years old so he can still play.

I made some research, of the sites I read, it says that castro has not reach 3,000 points yet in his career, which is very far compared to Santos points.
I also think that he will not reach the top 20 level since he like you said, he doesn't score much, maybe he is focusing on building on his assist stats compared to his points, that kind of play would fit on his age now.
3383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 31, 2020, 04:12:22 PM
<...>

Everything is a gamble but the nets know the risk they took, they still believe in Durant and they are desperate to be in the playoffs and be a good contender in the finals. Durant is one of the best player in the NBA, for me he is the best, so it's worth gambling to take the best.

It's really worth it. My first thought of why Nets took them was I'm now finally seeing again Steve Nash and Kobe best backcourt duo.
These dou were not successful, I think the best days of Steve Nash was his time with the Suns, but AFAIR, Steve Nash never won a championship, and a good point guard can't show his best skills as Lakers have Kobe that time and Kobe hold the ball, just like Lebron James having a good PG of Rondo, but Rondo is just part of the 2nd team now since Lebron is acting as PG.

3384  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 - The major reason for the current fall of Bitcoin on: March 31, 2020, 03:27:50 PM
People are always stupid, we elected a present to manage the government to make law that people will follow, if people are not following the law, they should be penalized, this is due to the lack of action of our government, they need to mobilize the military to arrest people violating, advise alone is not enough, it should be a strict order that everyone has to abide with it.

Bitcoin is falling only because of the stupid people (as shown below) or by people panic as Covid19 has nothing to do with bitcoins.

Where's the bitcoiner's people in the picture?? they are not stupid, they stay at home looking for the best timing to accumulate at dip.
3385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 31, 2020, 03:07:04 PM
Milwaukee Bucks co-owner interviewed by CNBC mentioned June for the return of NBA.

Can you provide the source of this information?

If it's June, there are still a lot of time, but the question here is we really don't know how this virus will be stop.
We can tell by the number of cases increased on a daily basis and US is leading them all.

Maybe that is just an estimate because that's what tehy can only do right now, if they can't figure out how to stop the virus, then no reason they will resume soon.
In behalf of CryptoArbi;
I do made up some search https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIem7JwTlBA .Listen on Marc Lasry's word somewhere on the end of the interview. Its just an estimation and theres
no official word yet on when the season would continue and as long this pandemic comes worst then expect for it to be more longer.

Therefore we should not take it seriously, I'd rather listen to the commissioner as his estimate is more accurate than the owner who will not decide on when the NBA will resume. There's a lot of factors to consider, the main factor is the pandemic, on when it will stop which until now the government don't have a concrete solution yet.

KD can now play but the season has been stopped man Sad

Kevin Durant is out of the whole season so even the NBA didn't suspend the remaining games or basically the whole season, we will not see him in action.

He is expected to play next season that's why the time Nets decided to sign him, other analyst takes that as gambling as Durant will have a player option 2 years later. In other words, only one season is the assurance that Durant will play for the team and if it will not have good progress next season, it might affect Durant's decision in the future.
That's the gamble for taking him out from GSW, the Nets gamble with him believing that he might change the fate of this team after this season

We don't know what future will bring to this league as the virus still there and still spreading.. keep safe..

Everything is a gamble but the nets know the risk they took, they still believe in Durant and they are desperate to be in the playoffs and be a good contender in the finals. Durant is one of the best player in the NBA, for me he is the best, so it's worth gambling to take the best.
3386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat money's richest vs Bitcoin's richest on: March 31, 2020, 12:41:10 PM
1% is huge enough because the number of people are in billions who are using fiat, while in bitcoin, the adoption is still low.
That's why if you want to belong on the 1% in the future, you should start investing in bitcoin and owning at least 1 btc is huge enough in the future that you can already retire and live a life without financial problem.
3387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: March 31, 2020, 12:27:39 PM
This is not the purpose why we are keeping a record, this is to ensure that we can monitor our performance in gambling and if we have reach the limit then we can stop but it's good that we are aware of what is happening so we can make an appropriate action.

For gamblers who are really serious, they should have a monitoring on their performance so they can decide either they will stop or they will continue.
3388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can crypto gambling be provably fair to regulators? on: March 31, 2020, 11:52:11 AM
A few ideas:
- The government manages server seed hash;
- Use future block hash, for example Bitcoin block hash (only applicable for some games);
- Compliance with KYC and AML (regulated).

Well, if we talking about regulators, the outcome won't be fun.

I am not sure the government will go technical on just approving the license, they may have an idea about it but they will only be limited to monitoring and implementing sanction for violators. Managing would be the job of the gambling site, they are responsible for their actions, therefore they need to comply everything.

Quote
Compliance with KYC and AML (regulated)

This is given, we can expect the site will implement this and gambling would not be as easy as today.
3389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coins Rally After covid what will be%? on: March 31, 2020, 05:40:52 AM

Any coins with possible Return in 6 months like 1000% Roi?

1000% is too much in just a short period of time, maybe shitcoins will do but you can't invest with good volume as they lack liquidity and you are just likely gambling with it, why not just invest with bitcoin? when it pump it could possible bring you a good profit, but I think 100% is quite realistic.
3390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: March 31, 2020, 05:09:07 AM
Price is dumping again and now BTC is trading around 4800$. It’s very possible to hit again below 4000$. If Btc will not recover soon from current price to above of 5000$ we can it will hit again to 3884 even less. I can not understand actually what are happening with markets.😥

Everything is obvious. All markets are in recession, and the cryptocurrency market is with them.

If prices fall, large market makers sell their assets, then they believe that it is more profitable for them than trying to keep the price at a level,
because in the end, in a panic, they will sell bitcoin in the first place turn to save the value of other assets.

Can't agree with that, if crypto is with them, so crypto should drop easily because we are connected with the stocks.

I guess what is happening right now will explain that crypto are not correlated with stocks, we have some good uptrend today, and that's the beauty of crypto as it rises even when there is a global crisis.
3391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: March 31, 2020, 04:56:10 AM
Binance is leading the adoption and they are releasing cards this time, its making this market more centralized even with all the claims being decentralized.
There are some features maybe that it looks decentralized but in general sense its still called a centralized exchange.
It's the reason why Binance DEX was not a success because it's not what people are expecting, with influence that their centralized exchange are having a volumes of billions per day, their DEX can easily get at least $1 million trading volume but it's not happening because people does not like it.

The only left for DEX to be part of the option for the people to go to when their coins are not listed on big exchanges.  DEX can help coins still be listed in the market though, at least the coins are not going to die. Instantly.
That's it, unfortunately, we don't want to see that as we want DEX to grow.
3392  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: March 30, 2020, 09:10:02 AM
I dont think they would of been able to produce a vaccine so quickly as it had been declared a pandemic within just this month. And the scientists who have been working on one say once they find a so called cure they would need a year before it were to be released to the public due to testing it first so to see if there would be any side effects.
If there are 50 doctors in Italy dying from it within a day, then this shows they are well off in finding a cure for it anytime soon. Embarrassed
So we can expect that more and more people will die, and the best thing for us the public to do now is just to cooperate with by staying at home so we will not be infected with the virus, it's very sad to know that it will take for the vaccine to produce as everyday matters since its been killing lives on infected people.
I have no idea if that would really be the case, but I know if it will take a year before the vaccine will be available to the people, there will be more deaths that is going to happen, 1 million death is just a conservative estimate, there will be more, so I guess they'll fast tract everything and it will be available very soon to save lives.
3393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 30, 2020, 08:47:04 AM
Current situation is changing every day. And it going to be worse and worse
It's changing but it's the price volatility, and we are not going into one direction only, in fact bitcoin hold at $6000 so it's not gonna be worse.
Remember that bitcoin dropped $4000 and it climbed to $6000, that's a major improvement already and we are seeing how bitcoin is holding strong despite some try to shake the market, it's still here the support is strong.
3394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 65%, alts lagging behind on: March 30, 2020, 08:23:54 AM
shitcoin BSV's halvening is projected to happen in about 13 days & 3.5 hours

I hope people would not fall for the hype again, I think the timing is really bad so I will not expect that one day I'll wake up seeing BSV pumping over 100%. Not at this time that the market is struggling, bitcoin will remain the King and hopefully the hype for BSV will die soon.
3395  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin halving, whales manipulations and its 2020 price valuation on: March 30, 2020, 08:14:31 AM
Whales do not have a manipulation at this stage during the sell time. I mean they had nothing to do with the stock market neither. The world is just in a big ball of fire right now that we are going to end of times, maybe it is not as severe as that but many people think of it like that. I have literally read a news story about a guy who went to his nuke attack bunker type of place with all the things he needs and plans on not going out until all of this is over. A BUNKER, he is that much scared.
We can't say that, whales are still in control and they can use their advantage at any situation, whether the market is good or bad as long as the manipulators have the power to do their thing, they can always do that.

Now, when there are people who are actually that much scared from something like this, you can't really expect people to suddenly see this as a normal thing. It means it will take some time to recover and that has nothing to do with whales, it is just human emotions.
For the crypto market it should be normal, but for the stocks, it isn't as stocks are suppose to be more stable than crypto and less volatile, but at this tiem now, it seems like crypto is more stable and we have some good rise in the past few days too.
3396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 12K USD is the next target? on: March 30, 2020, 07:28:52 AM
At the current market situation, I think $12K by the end of the year is already a big accomplishment.
This year, we are not certain yet on how big the virus will damage our world, there's been a global crisis already, and it will take time for the business to recover, and for sure as of this time, a lot of business are already bankrupt without assurance as to when the market will be back to normal.

Bitcoin might fall down, it could happen but hopefully by the end of the year, bitcoin will end bullish, and yes $12,000 is a good target now.
3397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can crypto gambling be provably fair to regulators? on: March 29, 2020, 11:54:46 AM
They have to because if they cheat, they'll face the consequences, when a gambling site applies for a license, it's not the gambling site that will dictate on the terms, its the government, and therefore gambling sites has to follow the requirements in order for them to pass and will be granted a license.

if they cheap the government in any way, that's called a violation of the law, and there is a corresponding punishment on that, depending on how serious the case is against the gambling site.
3398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH might go down below 80$ on: March 29, 2020, 06:33:33 AM
So far so good but I don't know how longer can this price be sustained on cryptos but if ETH reaches 80$ I think it would create a perfect opportunity for get in and buy some. For now, the world has more important things to take care so the volume/24H is not no like before... .
ETH drop at that range, not exactly $80 but over $80, so I hope you'll be able to buy at that time.
There seems to be no signs that ETH will drop again, of course we have to look at BTC for now as automatically, ETH will follow on BTC's movement.

Right now, bitcoin remain at its support which is $6000, so hopefully the next run would happen, and that would be an uptrend.
3399  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we agree BTC is not a store of value? on: March 29, 2020, 06:18:42 AM
When the global market is down nothing can be a reliable store of value.
But we still choose something that we think would help us to store our money, and for me that should be bitcoin as I believe on its potential.

Now everything is decimated. Bitcoin isn't an exception + get into consideration its volatility.
Volatility is quite a nature of bitcoin already, that is due to the fact that it has limited supply and there is no specific demand yet and it's been traded as well, so when people like to speculate, this will move the asset, but its long term is actually good, it would not reach at the current price if people does not believe on bitcoin.
3400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 29, 2020, 05:42:39 AM
This virus has effected all sports around the world along with the sportsbooks however I can see something new come out of this and that is virtual sports that we can bet on. There are some virtual sports right now like horse racing, greyhound racing and cock fighting, I think this can open up the doors for more virtual sports which I think we'll start to see in the future. Just imagine seeing a virtual football game and being able to bet on it.
Yes, many traditional casinos and gambling site has been cancelled their games or their operations due to the lockdown and  it I think it opens the new opportunity to the online casinos, because if people wanted to gamble but can't go out in their houses there will be an online gambling site for them, I think they are earning a lot now since there will be a lot of players online now.
Probably but we can't really be sure with that, maybe those gambling sites like dice sites because people can't gamble in sports now, so some gamblers just stick with playing dice games, and we know in dice games, money are instant, either you loss or win but they'll win most of the time due to the house edge. This is a good time also for some gamblers to finally know about crypto online gambling, and hopefully they'll find it easy to use.
