I don't see the reason why bitcoin is the only one given as an example in this "cashless world". I am not a holder, but BCH seems to be able to do exactly the same thing, without needing anything added (like the LN for btc). Surely, btc is more popular, but that doesn't mean it is the most viable option ever.
And I don't see the reason why the only one option we are thinking are digital currencies since there are a lot of other things besides that. One of the first one to be used when we say "cashless society" is cards, and I think it is happening since a lot of rich people don't really carry money with them but just bring credit cards with them. Digital currencies are still not ready to be a replacement for being a country's currency, there are still a lot of improvements that needs to be done and also not all people will accept digital currencies that easily to be used in their every day lives. |

In my own views the future of bitcoin will be more brighter and valuable ...because at this moment on... it will known to a lot of people not just in a one country but many and if the campaign of it is continue with the unity of each and everyone of the member it will grow higher in the future.
Well you are wishing bitcoin to be more brighter and valuable but I am wishing for it to be improved because if bitcoin is still not improving the next few years, other crypto currencies will be reigning over it in terms of the price and it will be the dark days of bitcoin just like in the past when it dumps back to $200. |

So many people are against bitcoin more or less because bitcoin is not stable to the point that it would scare them if they invest large amount of money and the value will not inflate. they are scared that they will just waste their time on efforts they don't know if they got something in return.
A lot of people are being scared to the feature of bitcoin which is volatility which is also the one attracting them. Here is the thing, you know that digital currencies, especially bitcoin are volatile, so why do you still want to invest in it if you do not want to lose your money? People take on risk to earn money here, and if you do not want to take on the volatility or the risk it has, then do not waste your time and money here. |

I'm just like those people before that didnt expecting that bitcoin will be too expensive like now. I have a chance to buy one bitcoin just in 200$ before but i didn't believe to the bitcoin that time. I thought that bitcoin will not going to last longer and it will become scam after having many investors on it.
A years past the bitcoin price rised to 500$ and im thinking that time if i will going to give it a try to invest some money on it. But like before i didnt believe to bitcoin again. The negavity are still on my body thinking that bitcoin will be down sooner.
Until this year i got a chance to have bitcoin in 3000$ dollar but i didnt take this opportunity again i feel that im really so stupid when it reached 5000$.
Do you think guys bitcoin will reach 8000$ next year? i really want to give it a try now. So many opportunity i wasted and i will not going to let it happen now.
I think you didn't lost the oportunity but you won't earn as much as people who made investments when it was that cheap. As long as bitcoin is there, I think the opportunity is still there, it is still not lost. And as we can see, you are still determined to invest in these digital currency so all I can say is that there are still some fire burning in you, and as long as it is there, the opportunity, is not only there but it will be there you just need to continue what you are doing. |

This question is depend upon in promoting the bitcoon. Many people think that bitcoin is like a scam. So the bitcoin companies must promote the bitcoin proper by educating the people so they can know that this simple business is not a scam rather a helpful one in our life.
"bitcoin companies", huh? You do know that bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency so I there are no third parties that are involved. And why do we need to promote bitcoin? There are a lot of people who are now knew bitcoin is in existence, they can just spread the word to the people close to them and if the people knew it is best to invest in it, I think they will be also telling it to their friends too. People may refer to it as a scam but they just did not know what bitcoin is and just stating things they do not know. |

Bitcoin for now is better than cash because the value of bitcoin is so high. Now a days more of people using bitcoin. If you have bitcoin right now you used it to buy things. That will be efficient if that is what's happening, but mostly, bitcoin is not used as a payment to things that you can buy since bitcoin is not that still popular. The value of bitcoin may be so high, but that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is greater than Fiats or cash. Fiats are still used because it is good for the country unlike bitcoin. Bitcoin is still volatile unlike cash that is stable, so I think in terms of buying things that I need or I want, I will be using cash, but in terms of making an investment, I will go with bitcoin. |

I do not know why can you said that but bitcoin is really popular in many countries today. It was triggered by the volatility of bitcoin, well, who will not be attracted to the quick or fast changing of the price and with a short period of time, you can see your profit without any hard work but I think you just need to a lot of patience. Bitcoin is the original digital currency, people will not be taking it as a fake coin unless that individual do not know what a digital currency is. Not all since a lot of the governments of every country are having a thought of bitcoin being a threat to the economy in the future. But I think it will still be good since people will be still using bitcoin unless the crypto currency was banned in that certain place or country. we know that bitcoin is better from now on but after 20 years i think it will become a super natural crypto currency so there is nothing to think negative about it because bitcoin never fall down forever! 20 years is a long year, a lot of expectations are there when we are talking about the the future of bitcoin. A lot of users are saying that bitcoin is having a good year developing at the same time, but it isn't. The more the people are using it, the more the price pumps and another problem arises. In the next 20 years, I expect bitcoin to be one of the most fastest and cheapest when it comes to transaction. It is one of the main feature of the digital currency, having a cheap fee but these days, the fee is not that cheap. |

I think he is saying that in the part of the people who would want a crypto currency as their main currency. I mean bitcoin cannot be a currency since it is not backed up by any banks and governments so fed really need to make own. But as a bitcoin user, I think I will be sticking to bitcoin rather than buying in their crypto currency, I mean bitcoin is decentralized. |

Probably just a lot of heavy traffic or ddos-ing, though the forum has just recently switched to Cloudflare so maybe there's some transitional issues with that because it's been on and off and laggy all day for me as well (as have a lot of bitcoin related websites/exchanges).

In curiosity, I know all of these can hack the price of Bitcoin, but the question is, which in your opinion is most likely to happen first?
I think I will go with the government ban, it is happening one by one with every countries still there are some that do not ban them, but it happening now so I think that is a given. The second one is either of the two, but I think that the most possible to happen next is major exchanger hack. It did happen with Mt Gox in the past year so I guess the exchangers are having a lot of things to keep so they are can't be hacked and not affect crypto currencies. And for me that have the lowest possibility from happening is the Block chain hack, it is alive for some time now but it is still doing fine. |

Will it hit 20K $ by end of 2017
There is a possibility that it might hit, but also, there is a possibility it won't and for me, I will go with the possibility of it won't. There are a lot of planned forks this month and I think it will be affecting the price pump of bitcoin. We don't know what might happen, and no matter what did, I will be still holding bitcoin, don't have other reasons to sell them for now. |

The price will not be the measurement of the legalization of bitcoin in countries maybe in the world. I think it will be how bitcoin will be developed in the near future.
Bitcoin may be used in a lot of countries now but some of them are starting to be threaten by how it is being developed, bitcoin has a possibility of being a global currency, but the question is, is bitcoin ready to be as global currency? I think not. Then for now, we will still be relying on it's conversion to USD. You can use BTC instead of USD, they may not know the exact price but there are a lot of sites you can visit to check how much it is in USD or your country's currency.

Napakalaki ng itinaas ng Bitcoin Cash nung nagdump ang bitcoin, pero wala pa din tlaga laban ang BCC sa BTC, well, altcoins will always be altcoins. Pero di ko naman dinadown ang mga altcoins, in fact ayoko na naiiwan ang Eth sa pagtaas ng BTC kasi naapektuhan yung mga altcoin holders, isa na ako dun.
